[Its odd though, the bloom of spores and mycelium seem to form more of a wall than anything, and Spore is not around outside it...]

Hourglass hesitated as he sees the alley full of the mycelium spores. Messing with Spore’s mushrooms was very dangerous- you could get trapped or be forced into the hive-mind of the system.

However- Hourglass was never known to be particularly cautious, so despite the knowledge he pulled off his green glove and touched the spore, his eyes going lime green, as he traced back its past.

*Bomb folds his one good wing around himself, shivering from fear and anger. He wants to fight back. But he knows if he does..he'll kill them all. He no longer has control of himself. If he fights back, he kills them all. If he joins the Watchers again, he kills them all..nothing is going to go right. He dosent want to hurt his freinds. He dosent want to hurt the two he loves. He's scared.*

Swap AU where both Grian and Scar swap places

We have mayor Grian and Daddy Shrooms Scar.

The sporelings are normal children (or as normal as you can get in Minecraft). They also keep accidentally foiling Mr. Disney Villian Scar’s plans.

Scar was almost done in making and perfecting an elixir to turn anything in a 500km radius into mycelium but needed a rare plant. Said rare plant only blooms every 100 years, and during his disney villian song Ren proceeded to EAT it.

Mumbo is supposed to be a spy for Scar but is very bad at it. Grian and Doc already know but keep him around because he has that wet spoon energy.

doc took on bdubs role as a sort of right hand man/body guard to mayor grian and mumbo took on doc's role in this swapped universe

the hep are now children of scar like how the sporelings are to mother

i suppose in swapped, scar is.... honestly mainly like how canon scar usually is but more malicious? Grian is the same as permit office grian now but he actually wants to do his job lol

Still rotating in my head the mycelium resistance being Mother Spore’s literal children.

They love to swarm Mister Scar (not really in a mushroom spore way, just the regular way) whenever they see him because they just go ‘hey!! It’s the funny tall man that Mother insists he despises, even though they have tea together every Friday!! I want to see the funny tall man!!!’ And thus, hermitcraft’s respectable mayor unwillingly becomes a playground for Mother’s mischievous children :3

Scar: WHO ARE YOU LITTLE MUSHROOM CHILDREN??? AND WHY ARE THERE SO MANY OF YOU??

Doc is making sure Scar doesn't try anything to hurt the kids (not that he can in the first place with him being tied up and Motherspore being present)

Despite all this, Motherspore is immensely proud that his children are able to kidnap a full grown man without any trouble

[Scar stares up at the mountain from his spot near a bunker Grian had started constructing, not quite able to figure out what's going on. He reaches up and scratches his head, wrinkling his nose.]

[The evening light illuminates the spores, making them visible to the vex. His tail swishes side to side as he tries to wrap his head around the event. Was this another Watcher thing that was happening?]

[Scar doesn't like this one bit.]

[They had planned this in advance. Spore was careful not to tell anyone. They were even more careful not to let the hivemind spill everything to anyone else, and to not be spotted leaving the house in a specially tailored suit.]

[They waited right in the spot they both had planned. Tucked in their pocket, a little box with a ring. In their other, a note with vows written on it.]

[Just as they planned. Moon and Spore would meet here, away from prying eyes. Away from Spore's children. Just them. And they'd get married.]

[Looking over the note once more, Spore takes a deep breath. They're ready.]

<She stepped out of her mindspace and into Spore's world. It was always a little challenging to switch between worlds as a non-player but her excitement pushed passed the usual frustration>

I have more to say mwahahahaha! so we all know doc loves his short wife but what if his wife was taller than him? I'm talking extremely tall mother spore.
