As we continue entering into August and as we continue having Disability Pride even though it's no longer July, it’s important to continue recognizing that the genocide occuring in Gaza is also disability issue. Thus, no one's free until we're all free since all of our struggles are connected!! 🍉 Please consider donating to Boshra’s gofundme, which is a little over 75% away from the goal. Boshra, an 18-year-old physically disabled Palestinian girl with muscular dystrophy, and her family have lost their home and have been living in a small tent in horrible conditions (which includes lack of food, contaminated water, and extreme heat). * did and osdd are traumagenic disorders, ergo it is not possible to be a system without trauma. i do believe there are other disorders that cause plurality and things similar, but there is not non-disordered plurality. i also believe that a lot of "endo" systems just have heavily repressed trauma (normal thing w traumagenic systems is repressed/locked away trauma)

being physically disabled is so fun because when the weather is unbearably cold, i just pull up with braces that i haven't used (nor really seen) in months. my wrist brace was in my mess of plushies, and both of my ankle braces were on the floor behind christmas gifts and clothes that still need to be put away. just a little reminder to take care of yourself during this winter weather if you have enough spoons!! <3
