There's a stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway in between Highways 25 and 74 around Asheville that folks in the area use pretty regularly. Most probably don't even realize that Sweeten Creek starts in a little cove just beside the parkway, runs underneath the road, and downhill to run alongside Sweeten Creek Rd. The creek eventually flows into the Swannanoa River and the road runs right up to the front gate of the Biltmore Estate. When the water flow is high you might see something like what's pictured here, but if you're in a car you can blink and miss it. If the flow is low you might only see a trickle.
