The story of ProjectFreedom was one of the very few instances where I had a clear vision for specific plot points in the story and I rarely had any idea on changing them.

The jist of the story was that Exelle was bored and essentially fucked around and found out. While for the majority of the story, he didn’t exactly care for Vanilla or Cream, he still didn’t want to kill them, so he just chilled around and hung out with them for a while.

It wasn’t until Knuckles came into the picture that he genuinely started to question everything he knew, eventually realizing that he “used to be” Sonic the Hedgehog, and that Terios “used to be” Shadow. Obviously that fucked him up a lot, major identity crisis, but he soon decided to start fighting against Miles and Chaos Labs, much to the dismay of Terios.

The general story wasn’t going to be long, so I didn’t have many major plot points, but one was a fight between Exelle and Terios. Their fight would go how you expect it to be, all epic and full of anger and heartache, BUT Exelle eventually gives Knuckles some of his chaos energy, turning him into Super Knuckles. Both of them fight Terios, but halfway Knuckles goes and protects Vanilla and Cream from Miles.

Exelle and Terios end up into the place where they killed Sonic and Shadow in (cause drama). Exelle ends up winning by using chaos control on Terios (that he learned from Knuckles) and somehow manages to resuscitate Shadow (albeit not without some major scars and injuries).

After taking a moment to assess the situation, Exelle goes straight for Miles, hoping to kill him in one blow. But using similar tactics that Knuckles has, Miles manages to grab a hold of Exelle and essentially use him as a mindless puppet. He and Knuckles fight for a moment before Knuckles manages to rip that effect off of him.

And I never properly wrote this down, but yadda yadda Miles dies or goes to jail or something and the day is saved yippie!

I was never sure if Exelle would stay himself, or if he would give up his form to resuscitate Sonic, so it can go either way. I do wanna say that if he did give up his form, Sonic and Shadow would have vague memories of everything that had happened. Either way, happy ending. Yay!

Okay, so... I did all of the models from the Deltarune Brawl piece and lined them up. I also did a bonus Undertale fight screen version down below along with Soul types. I'll explain why I made the design choices I did for appearances along with explaining the Mobian Soul types.

Design Notes:

✨Stardust✨

Stellar's design is an almost fusion between her normal look and villain look, however she was granted shoes and a storage belt to carry items.

Camellia got a more modified princessy design that also felt more adventure oriented. Now with proper boots and a seperated two piece instead of a dress, she'd be able to move around a lot more easily.

Rime's hands and feet are actually now iced over, making her attacks much more volatile. But by contrast, her actual outfit appears more sleek and tight-fitted since most of the detail went into her hands and feet.

Sunshine is also a primary Healer, with her scarf being modified into a more cape-like appearance. She was also given a cross bag and connected belt with a pouch for extra storage.

Arthur is heavily knight focused with his design taking the most pointers from Kris.

Orion is pretty streamlined, with the only thing to note being the protective shoulder guards and the side cape. He is definitely a warrior type, but I opted for something slightly fancy while allowing for ease of movement and some protection.

Terios is also an attack oriented Mage, with a much longer cape and a cross belt to keep everything secure. The bracelets are just for decoration.

Juice doesn't like clothes at all since they're too restrictive, so to keep in line with her character I simply kept her original bracelet and just gave her a simple belt to tie the look together. And put her quills down. Her psychic wings are now always active and visible.

Keira actually comes with a retractable scythe, which can normally look like a sword and can be used as such on first glance. But with special attacks, it comes out like a scythe. Other than that her outfit was changed to allow for more movement.

Estelle's original outfit surprisingly fit deltarune, so I kept most of the original elements but chose to remove some of the capes for ease of mobility.

Kaiko was given visible vines and flowers in his quills and on his arm to signify him having plant powers. His original outfit was also modified to appear more combat oriented.

Maria always struck me as a combative type, hence her design wasn't changed too much besides providing extra protection in case she got hurt.

Tulip's outfit mainly serves mobility, however it does lack the shoes and gloves due to preference and not for convenience like some other characters.

Sakura's mainly a healing Mage, with her design being soft and calming as a result. Not much to say here besides thinking a cloak would look nice on her.

Nymph maintains her princess look with a more streamlined and less restrictive look. The skirt is also a back high low to prevent it from snagging from behind if she ran.

Rosemary was dressed in a more guarded and combative style, with the short skirt being a more stylistic choice and to provide some extra protection from injury.

Mallow is definitely more armored with knightly gear. But since she originally came with a dress I decided to give her a skirt instead.

Meredith is a more attack oriented Mage, and as such her outfit appears both flowy yet elegant. Even without armor the outfit is quite protective where it needs to be.

Naomi is very focused on both protection and movement for attacking, so her outfit comes with wrist and shoulder guards to protect from attacks along with sleek long gloves and socks with only the elbows, knees, and toes exposed for better flexibility. She also has a belt with a pouch for extra storage.

Azarael is a slightly modified version of her original outfit. She also has small fins at the backs of her legs to swim more efficiently but that's about it.

Character Types and Role explanations:

Each character has a primary strength and weakness of the group. This is mainly intended for balancing purposes.

The knights score in high defense but middle in attack and can't use magic.

Warriors have the highest attack and are somewhat skilled in magic, but lack defense hence they can get downed easily.

And mages have the highest magic casting, middle in defense, but lack the strongest attack.

Mobian Souls share attributes with human souls, yet respond quite differently with their own unique abilities. Everyone has a special soul type in accordance to their color. However, Determination is a human soul ONLY. It cannot be found in a Mobian or Monster. They also go by different names but still share similar qualities to the human variants.

Pink: Understanding. Special Ability: Teleportation.

Orange: Courage. Special Ability: Endurance

Yellow: Fairness. Special Ability: Strength.

Green: Compassion. Special Ability: Healing

Cyan: Humility. Special Ability: Levitation.

I have a serious problem, I like many elements and chronologies that try to organize the entire Sonic universe but I'm really undecided; on one hand I like that Sonic is a prince and son of Queen Aleena but now I also like the idea that the Parlouzer are his parents and have a humble origin story, that he was once that cowardly child who became the great hero of Mobius. And if you are looking at the second family tree (Because I am so indecisive that I made two timelines where Sonic is a prince and the other is not… And if his civil name would be Nicolas for Nicky) I put ''Terios Robotnik'' which is Shadow's civil identity, why not? Terios is his prototypical name and Robotnik is for Gerald and Maria… Unfortunately he shares his last name with Eggman, and who is Arian? Well, it's Silver's civilian name, I literally looked for names that mean ''Silver'' and Arian is of Welsh origin. Before you kill me for putting Sonamy let me try to explain before the mob gets closer, Sonamy was my first ship and the first thing I saw when I entered the fandom when I was a little girl, although I don't ship them as strongly anymore, has a special place in my heart; so I put Amy as his first wife with whom they had a daughter (A Sonamy fanchild that I made back in the day) but when it was discovered that Sonic no longer aged like before due to the constant absorption of Chaos, let's say he wanted to enjoy the last days with her before expelling his last breath… With the passing of the years after his death she would marry Shadow and there they would have Silver. (Now they can stone me)

I want to preface this by saying that I am holding myself accountable for not stepping up and either breaking off the friendship sooner or defending myself properly. As it stands even now I am not someone who copes well with confrontation and would rather stay as far away from it as possible. I’m speaking now because other people are coming forward with their stories and experiences. Whilst I have very few actual screenshots of conversations please understand that the interactions I’m discussing impacted me quite a lot mentally. It’s up to you to decide if you think I’m overreacting but by the end of those six months I had basically decided I no longer had a place in the rpc where I was welcomed after losing that friendship. I’ll be putting this under a read more so look at your own discretion. I won’t be speaking about this again after this.

If terios / ty sees this and decides they wish to unblock me and speak about it in order to see these feelings discussed and resolved im okay with that and if anyone else who has been in a similar situation needs someone to talk to or discuss it with in also open to that.

At the beginning of our friendship things were pretty intense and feeling like you were the main writing partner for someone who had already established themselves a place in the rpc was such a good feeling ? It’s like you really belong and you have someone who is so invested in your portrayal that you feel really important. There were many times where this once good feeling became tarnished by negativity, bitterness and what to me, felt like being bullied or belittled.

I’ll touch on a few things I really do remember quite clearly and be understanding that my adhd / ptsd and other things impact my capacity to retain information all the time I try to be very clear with this when talking with mutuals to avoid them becoming frustrated when I don’t remember everything all the time. they would tell me I wasn’t listening or paying attention when I tried to explain this.

there was a lot of time monopolising that I ended up enabling, this one in particular was mentioned to me by my partner who ended up feeling like I really distanced myself from them and even when I did want / try to spend time with them terios’ reaction would always be to change their tone to speaking bitterly or giving off this change of energy and if you recognise it you know it’s the sort where you’ve done something wrong and you need to fix it immediately.

There were also times where other friends became an issue, terios had problems with someone I was interacting with on dash. At the time I wanted to be in their corner because we were really close, they were my closest friend but these people had also been nothing but nice to me and I didn’t have issues with them. This tension went on for a while until terios let me know that I was two faced for not taking their side fully and I ended up blocking them which I thought was the right answer to appeasing someone who was upset. Yes, this was my fault I should have said no but they were a really important friend to me and I wanted them to feel like they were heard and understood. In the end I lost both of those friends and another friend who told me that if I continued to always take terios’ side in arguments like that I would have no one else left but them in the end.

It also happened when I mentioned that I was watching things with my mutual, we had only just started writing again after not speaking for a long time and terios was instantly making comments about it, usually vague and never good and when I finally said hey you know this isn’t cool to be saying this their response was just that I should have told them that sooner.

They were always unpleasant about Gepard ships that weren’t ours and I don’t know if that was because they just had a bias or not but I remember plotting an almost au verse with a firefly writer and dropping it because they were telling me when and how would that happen why is this something you’re writing ? basically implying that I owed it to some how justify what I was deciding to write for my muse ?

This also happened when I was creating an au for Gepard around being a vampire hunter I was so excited about it and I wanted to tell them and their response was to pick it apart reminding me oh this doesn’t make sense for Gepard’s canon age or this doesn’t make sense for his family and whilst I get caring about canon it really made me feel ? like my spark had just been squashed something I was so excited about just being torn to shreds completely and I never spoke about it again, tobias was there when this happened I had just came home from the gym in tears because I was so upset about it.

As those who interact with me know I am someone who is always earnestly trying to expand my vocabulary and learn new ways to incorporate cool stuff into my writing and there was one time one time when I used a word wrong and I did apologize for it and they ended up bringing it up over and over again for three months and whilst it was a joke in their eyes I don’t doubt it really just made me not want to try to improve my writing anymore and minimised myself to be someone they would approve of.

it also felt like anytime I began to get the confidence to bring up how I was feeling that it was turned around to make me feel worse or shit and like the whole situation was my fault rather than looking at it and both taking accountability and working to find a solution. I found this so challenging because so many times I left feeling like I was truly in the wrong because they had told me I was.

The last thing I will mention is that they will jump between gepard writers quite frequently. I wasn’t on the receiving end of this but I do know that when they blocked me only a day later then were dming a mutual and friend of mine who they had all but ghosted for those six months asking to write again. While this isn’t the worst thing ever I can only imagine how shitty that must feel and I know when they spoke to me and I said this it really hit home for them that they had been second best for those whole six months despite being there before me. This has happened with other Gepard writers too not just me and that person.

In the end a lot of this shit could have been amended if I told them your behaviour is shitty and it’s making me feel like shit but who wants to be put in a situation with a friend or writing partner where they feel like they have to make that choice.

I still do think terios is a good writer and they’re committed to the sampo they’re shaping but there are ways to interact with people that are kinder and not always with this undertone of being nasty or mean or spiteful. Again, if they or anyone else does want to talk to me about this they can and I trust that everyone can decide who they want to write with themselves. I just want my feelings and story to be heard and others to know they can speak up too.

one of my bigger sonic pet peeves that isnt as common is when people draw sonics beta design (feels the rabbit (stupid name)) with shadows (terios). 1 because those arent even fucking characters those are pictures. and 2 if they kept the beta design for sonic then shadow would NOT look like that??? its very obviously based on a textureswapped sonic. why would shadow look like that in the world where sonic is a rabbit. this isnt me saying i think ppl should make “beta” rabbit designs for shadow ftr i hate the sonic beta design and im glad they didnt use it.

Terios LOVES cats and actually volunteers at cat shelters and sanctuaries. This guy would LOVE going to a cat cafe he loves cats so much and wants nothing but to cherish and love them....

Tbh Silver/Venice is the kinda guy who'd get bit by a dog when he was young and get really scared of them, but idk. I don't really have much else to say tbh bc I haven't thought of it!

I'll just get straight into it. No preamble.

Rath, Terios, Typho, @ huijarii / @ dupliciti / @ coldbulwark /@ smusmaes, whatever the fuck you decide to call yourself, and I had a falling out last year, sometime in November 2023.

What pushed it is honestly none of anyone's business. What was a stupid drama between two people should've stayed that way. A stupid drama between two people. However, ever since that time, it has been looming over my Honkai Star Rail rp career.

Every new person I'd try to interact with, Rath was right there to snipe in and push me out. I couldn't make connections for months without the looming fear of this person running to them and worming their way in to push me out of interactions. 

Since then, I've made friends, people who didn't care about the drama or quite frankly didn't know about it. It took ages and at times I felt like giving up. I felt so paranoid because of how Rath acted around me that I kept wavering from being kind to manic. You will understand why in a bit.

I never asked anyone to choose a side nor will I do it in the future. All I've asked from people is to not mention them and more recently, due to reasons, not to roleplay with me if they actively interact with them.

That's how things should've been. But people talk. People make connections. Others are dropping Rath faster than flies. Jokingly, it's been so many victims that I suggested to one of them to make a union with me and make ourselves unionize against them. That's how many there are of us.

I won't speak of their stories as that's not my own to speak. But mine I will gladly tell, with admittedly low evidence as I, the stupid fool, thought I didn't need to screenshot every single weird moment Rath had with me. I did genuinely believe we were friends but there's a repeated pattern of behavior with them. They will emotionally suck you dry and expect you to give more and more while you are given nothing in return.

And to be honest? It wasn't even the worst of it. I got off easy. Others not so much. Again, their story to say, not mine.

What I can say is that if Rath wants to refute it, go ahead. Post the FULL chat log between us on discord. From our group server to the dms. Post it all. I give my full consent because I know if you did, it would prove to everyone how unhinged you are. If there is any problematic content or not pc wording in those dms, I will gladly explain though I'm confident even without me explaining them, the dms explain myself fairly well. I have nothing to hide.

Now you may be asking, “Prince, why are you saying all of this? Is this a call out? Is this drama?” 

Yes this is drama. And why I'm saying this is well, again. People talk. I had a chat with someone about it, and they confirmed by a third party, another victim, that Rath was indeed, stalking and watching over me. This is what pushed me over the edge.

It explains why they kept mirroring me, my posts, my headcanons, how they knew who I followed and didn't despite my efforts of keeping them blocked and them also having me blocked.

I genuinely believed I was insane, that I was overthinking things when they kept dangling interactions with them only to take it away because idk. Maybe there was a different, better, roleplayer out there. I felt alone and felt like I was seeing things when there wasn't anything.

I wasn't. Others see it too. They're simply too polite or too scared to say it. Everyone in the rpc says they don't want drama but how can there be none when someone is actively doing this kind of shit behind the scenes? 

And it's the same methodology. Rath befriends you, love bombs you, slowly starts cutting attention away from you and then drops you for a shiny new roleplayer. But if that person drops them, you have to be there for them. No, that's not how this works. 

So rather than speaking in hush tones and whispers, I'm saying it out right. Unlike Rath, I will make myself known. I think you need help. I think you should march yourself into therapy and tell them “hey, I'm not mentally well. I need help.”

Because people will not offer that help to you if you use them the way that you do.

This will be my only post about this situation. I'm holding myself accountable. Originally on a previous draft of this post I said I would have a friend bonk me if I mentioned this again on main. I removed that statement because that isn't holding accountability. I need to do it myself.

To the victims, I offer sympathy. We were all misled in one way or another, choosing to believe a friend instead of investigating the matter. I know I did. And it almost cost me a friend. If I knew what they also went through, I would've done more to get them away from them. What's done is done. We both reconciled and are making amends towards each other.

I also don't want to become a “Foster's home for Rath’s victims”. If you were hurt by Rath and you want to follow me because you want to bond over that, I rather you didn't. While I have trauma bonded with at least two victims this way, I think we all deserve better. You deserve better.

If you want to follow because you believe Sampo and your muse can engage in shenanigans, then please by all means, go for it. Though I will say I feel a bit wary of those in Rath’s circle. Both to prior members and current ones so forgive me for being a bit jumpy around you if you do end up following me. I will offer as much kindness as I'm able to regardless.

If you're wondering why I keep saying Rath rather than Terios or Ty or whatever goofy ass name they have now… Well because I want them to know that no matter how much they want to change their name, their url, their editing style or goodness knows what else, their actions will always speak for them. This is the legacy you left.

Another person made a post about you. And how you nearly wrecked them. You're as dangerous as you are pathetic. You're what, 26 now? Please change and grow up. Roleplaying is meant to be a fun hobby, not whatever this is.

For my moots who have written with me, I apologize for bringing this issue out. I swear this will be the last of it. If I do vent, hopefully it'll just be family issues or personal stuff. Though I rather not have either of those.

Some Shadow the Hedgehog fans may be aware that the beta design for Shadow has a different name of "Terios". You can look him up, but he looks so vastly different than Shadow... And yet like him.

In fact, you can see a 3D Terios in action with first edition copies of Sonic x Shadow Generations, as he is technically a DLC code (at least for PS5).

Well, a friend and I got hit with the stick of "creative" and created a whole story out of him.

Basic info is after an Eggman machine exploded, Sonic and Shadow fused into Terios. Those who were at Zone 0 (the blast zone) were unaffected by the blast, as long as they didn't get close to anything else. But outside Zone 0 became a crumbling dimension of statues of the people who lived there. Everything was destroyed.

More info will be below the cut, but have the version of Terios we designed, as well as his companions on his journey: Soliana and Fang!

Fun Fact, we did the math and due to fusing, Terios is roughly two times the size of Sonic and his crew. Like 6-7 foot tall hedgehog.

Soliana and Fang have their own stories, but everything else is below cut!!

Quickly starting with Soliana, her father is a noble from the Sol empire, the brother of Blaze's father. He left for Mobias (that dimension's version of Mobius) to study how Sol Emerald power can effect things. He ended up starting a family, and had Soliana, making her Blaze's first cousin. Unlike most of anyone from Sol or with Sol blood, she has no affinity for the Sol Emeralds. In fact, they can be a hazard to her health. However, after the Mobias Event, and dimension hopping, she was forced to absorb a set of Sol Emeralds and because of how her body handles it, needs many Inhibitor Rings (Limitors) to control and protect her body. It was found out that if all her dark grey spots on her fur turned full Sol Emerald colour, she would perish.

Terios is power hungry so he can try and unfuse himself. He holds the power of Sonic, Shadow AND a set of Chaos Emeralds in his body (Sonic and Shadow fused while Super). He normally is a terrible person, only caring to try and gain power to unfuse. The power needed is that of at minimum 7 Master Emeralds as well as to permanently destroy one universe to revive his own. He may not ever say it, but Fang and Soliana are the closest to friends he has, and they keep him sane.

Fang once was a part of Team Dark, often working with Shadow and Rouge and Omega on tasks. During the events of Forces, he took on his Infinite and won, being given the Phantom Ruby in Infinite's dying moments. It took a toll on him. After the Mobias Event, while is primary goal is revive his dimension, his *secondary* goal is collect as many Phantom Ruby's as possible to keep more people from suffering from it. Unfortunately, it did go slightly to his head, causing him to be awfully possessive of any Phantom Ruby. The one on his belt is the one from his world, and the one he tends to use the most.

Fang is owned by my friend, Soliana by me and Terios technically but us two and Sega.

Yet another Sonic AU idea, coz I can never focus on a single one for very long! Also, was rewatching the Incredibles movies and had thoughts(tm)!

So! An AU set in a world kinda like the Incredibles wherein Sonic and the other hero characters were like proper Superheroes, but then were forced to retire and go into hiding when laws were passed that made superheroes illegal.

Sonic is in a committed relationship with Sally and Shadow, the three of them being former Supers now trying their best to live as a "normal" family with their four kids. All of which have powers, except for the baby.

Sally was one of the few Superheroes without any powers. A lot of people forget that about her, partly coz she later gained cybernetics after a terrible accident (ironically unrelated to her hero work) that took her limbs nearly took her life too. Still thinking abut her hero name but she spent many years struggling to balance her superhero career with her civilian life. She has a lot of complicated feelings about it all now that she's been forced to give up one side of her life. These days she reluctantly works at her father's company, trying very hard not to draw any attention to herself, or her family.

(Nicole is also here, integrated into Sally's cybernetics. She's quite literally in Sally's head, which kinda makes them a package deal. Her bond with Sally is incredibly strong, tho neither see it as romantic, same goes for Sonic and Shadow. They all consider her as part of the family, and the unofficial fourth parent.)

Sonic and Shadow didn't really have secret identities. Shadow had to invent an identity, going by Terios while dyeing the red parts of his fur and quills black to blend in better. He now works a boring desk job and also tends to wears grey sweaters or plain button down shirts. Shadow is very dissatisfied with his life. He's supposed to be the Ultimate Lifeform! He was meant to protect the world! He made a promise! And now he's just Terry, a boring guy working a mind-numbingly dull office job, barely able to protect his own family much less anybody else. (Yeah, Shadow be Mr Incredible here.)

Now Sonic, he pretty much lived as his superhero identity full time, so very few people actually knew he even had a secret identity. See Sonic used to be Nicky (like from the manga), a quiet, timid kid with freaky powers that always got picked on. One day he ran away from the orphanage he lived in, changed his hair, changed his whole look, changed his attitude, and started calling himself "Sonic". Becoming a superhero was never the intention, but after his first run in with Eggman, well, it all just snowballed from there.

Sonic had the hardest time adjusting to the new status quo in the beginning, having always thought he'd just be Sonic forever, even if he ever got the chance to retire from the hero life. He's had part time jobs, but was never able to hold one for very long. His lack of formal education makes things a little harder on that front too. These days he's settled down as a househusband, being the primary caretaker for their children. He loves his kids and wants to give them all the things he never got to have growing up, like loving parents and a stable home. It would be a lie to say he didn't miss his old life, but if was a choice between that and the life he has with his family, he'd pick his family every time.

Shadow & Rouge ???

Timeclipsed!Shadow + Timeclipsed!Rouge — !!

Best of friends, whether or not they'll admit that openly. Sole confidantes, ride-or-die as hell for each other. Emerl actually replaces Omega in this timeline, and while they're not as close to him as they would've been to Omega, the trio work together well.

Shadow's lore is a bit more complex than Rouge's (and is also some of my favorite from this entire AU), so he may take up the bulk of the post!

SHADOW:

➺ To explain Shadow's lore, we'll have to go back to the very beginning. The ultimate lifeform was developed with the brain of a child to start with— and due to that childlike mind being unable to sustain the psychological stress of existing for the purpose of keeping Maria alive, it split into two different parts initially, eventually three. ➺ Shadow is the core and acts as host. Terios is considered the inner self helper. Ark tends to be a bit hazy, their presence being sporadic, but is the persecutor. They formed last, sometime during the events of SA2. ➺ Generally, when whoever is fronting shifts, it isn't super noticeable, but there do tend to be some physical or vocal cues. ➺ Most are tangentially aware of Shadow's condition, but only Rouge, Emerl, and Sonic have properly met and spoken to each alter. ➺ Effectively genderless. ➺ Shadow and Sonic are exes. They broke up after Sonic was consumed in his research to find Tails. ➺ Terios is the alter who directly witnessed Maria's death. Despite being the one to see it, he struggles to cope with the reality of it, as well as the idea that much time has passed at all. Due to Gerald's plans to siphon Maria into a different living body in order to keep her alive, he formed the belief that Tails is Maria after noting the amount of similarities (which, of course, is what prompted the Doctor to set his sights on Tails as a potential candidate to begin with). The first Tails even learned of Maria's existence was when he was snatched up by Terios (sometime during SA2's events) and insistently referred to by her name. ➺ Shadow and Terios believe Tails is alive, but Ark (who's usually the one that whoops Tails' ass) thinks he's dead. Terios was hysterical for days over his disappearance and will sometimes turn up to try and help Sonic out with research. ➺ Ark is essentially the one responsible for a majority of the bad decisions they make (i.e., involvement with Black Doom and such). ➺ Rouge is Shadow's best friend. Terios adores her. Even Ark is partial to her.

ROUGE:

➺ Lived on the streets for a good chunk of her childhood before being taken in by two very loving mothers. She's been stealing for as long as she can remember. ➺ Developed kleptomania because of her experiences as a child. Though she wants for nothing as an adult, most of her jewel-thieving tendencies come from that primal protective instinct to always have something to hold onto. ➺ Has an amicable friendship / off and on situationship with Knuckles. They're treasure hunting buddies! ➺ She may be the face of bold self-confidence now, but when she was younger, she had a lot of body image issues. ➺ Extremely embarrassed by the scene phase she went through in her teenage years. She had a MySpace page and everything... ➺ A surrogate big sister to Amy, who went through a lot of the same problems she did as a teenager. They're roomies now! Amy says she wants to plan Rouge's wedding when she gets engaged. ➺ Woah, she's bisexual! I didn't know that! ➺ Would kill a hundred men just to make her girlfriend smile. ➺ So totally polyamorous. ➺ Emerl is something like a little brother to her, although they're not as close as she is with Amy. ➺ Cries only when she's alone. A lot of the times, it's about her worry for Shadow.

I’ve had a few people ask about Silver in ProjectFreedom. And unfortunately, he is not cannon to the story as I don’t think he’d fit well among the rest of the cast. As well, what happens in the story surprisingly doesn’t warrant anyone from the future to intervene. (But I mean, I do have SOME teeny tiny ideas regarding him, but they’re just ideas at the moment. I don’t know if I’ll go through with them)

But still, if in any other circumstances he did come from 200 years in the future to the present, I think it would be something like this:

Silver comes from over 200 years in the future to the present to stop all of the destruction and chaos that’s been happening. He doesn’t know the whole story, but he manages to piece together enough clues to pinpoint to a place, ChaosLabs. He introduces himself and says he’s here to help stop a monumental threat from basically creating a world wide genocide, and of course the person he talks to is Miles himself.

Miles is overjoyed! He says he’s glad to have some extra help! He gladly accepts Silver to be a part of the team! But he says he should introduce himself to Exelle and Terios first, since he’s going to be working with them. Miles calls them in and, well…

I think you can guess what happens after that

I didn’t put it in the tags, but I promised myself I’d try working through my list of identities, try to get them up-to-date and more importantly just think about them and what they all mean to me. If things have changed, stay the same, or what more I have learnt.

(This was meant to happen yesterday on dragon appreciation day but life doesn’t like to listen XD)

Looking at the list I have in my pin and I already can see how much I used to mask parts of my identity even to the community itself that is meant to be for being more open about it. I mean I literally wrote I’m going to keep vague on one directly in the post. Which also meant I left a lot of details out surrounding it.

Also it just feels so, oddly done. I don’t really know a good way to list out my identities in a way that feels like it really captures them in an easy to understand way. It’s why I thought typing out my thoughts as I worked on them would probably be very helpful for me and maybe for others who read this.

I’m one of those people whom for a good amount of my types I also identify with the aspects of them a lot too. Not always, but.. most of the time. Enough to make my real list seem so much bigger than its primary parts. Which might be the best way for me to dive into what my identity is and how it all weaves together.

If I remove every “paratype” (in the strictest definition possible) identity from my list (including things  that I didn’t list) I’d have this:

I think to some that’s already a decent list, but ironically the literal theriotype I themed this blog around isn’t included. At the strictest definition of paratype, even that identity that literally awoken me to alterhumanity as a concept is just only because of something else. Almost everything else I identify with I feel is because of one of the above. Mostly just because of who I am at base.

Paratype is honestly such an amazing word and I’m very glad I was told about it. Through the framing of paratype it really showed me how my identities are mostly all branches splitting off of my base experiences that I didn’t remember at the time or couldn’t cope well with.

There was a post I remember seeing someone showed before, of a graphic showing how a lot of their identities had bubbles of overlap and how ‘high’ and ‘low’ kin in some ways made sense to them because of that feeling. Some are ‘higher’ in part because they had more connected attributes or were in a sense the reason for others. At least… that’s how my brain is remembering the post so long later. I can’t even remember who posted it. In some sense that’s exactly what I’m experiencing.

Part of me is terrified to admit it, but dammit the constant hiding and feeling like I need to move around it, isn’t doing me any favours. So fuck it. I’ll try to stop hiding being the real Mary Sue as they probably say lol.

At my at most base my identity is as a Dean Winchester. I can’t really say I can even recognise the show version of myself. It’s not like I had anything to do with it in my existence. Why I exist, other than it was by aseity isn’t really to do with me (and that’s telling on another mate’s shit so I won’t), but I’m a dark as fuck skinned Dean with curly blonde hair who was born nonhuman, due to a third parent the other two didn’t know about, and was raised human and then John found out and oh fuck did things not go well for me. Easiest simplest bit of it all.

My species as Dean I ended up choosing to call Risen Devil as it best fit. I was angel and devil, not fallen but instead considered holy as shit almost if because of the devil so it felt right. I when younger had vampiric attributes where I drank energy from demons, like a psychic vampire, but after some shit happened it turned into drinking grace from angels. Thus I started calling myself a celestial vampire. More of my life was spent existing with a draw towards grace than towards demon energy, so I never really gained an identity or connection to that aspect of my history but it’s hard not to still bond to general vampire things, especially when grace was basically angel blood for the ones I mostly dealt with.

( as a small aside obviously I was also born a witch, it’s in the family history and I hear even in canon and for us that is a biological species like thing? So I’m like extra attuned to magic with that gene?? I still got genes from my human parents obviously.)

Very quickly even from just that it’s really fast to see where the identities all start to pile on; especially when I never got to identify as the things I actual were in my own home and history. It’s hard not to feel like I want to cling and identify and be proud of what I could never there.

A lot of this I think people wouldn’t have considered paratypes. These would just be the base identities I have. Which I agree! That’s why the quotes around paratype before. But it felt useful to myself to even dissect it to that degree. Because these are aspects of what ‘Dean’ means to me, that no one else would see if I just wrote I’m Dean. So I just.. felt worth a base run down because it felt useful and important to me?

But then you got the genuine, to me, first level of paratypes. The identities I feel like I only have because of my lack of safety in my base history. The most obvious being the Non-Canon Detective Comics character.

I didn’t remember all of this stuff at first. Working through a lot of my exotrauma is what really started to open and make things make sense and things have been more consistent and constant since stabilising and remembering more of myself. But before I remembered I had weird neomatta and memories of a world I didn’t know of. That was the start of the DC fictotype.

I was sharing all these things to my friends about characters I didn’t know, about journeys and long story short it matched a lot of DC things. I was predicting the Gotham Knights game in aspects. Shit ya know. 

It ended up feeling solidified as a being known as the Golden Revival, born of Lucifer and The Voice, but unknown to have been born by either. A sheep/goat hybrid creature with one form representing mostly the goat, the devil, young-ness, masculine, and the artist, stuck with the colours of purple, violet, and blue; and another form representing mostly the sheep, the voiced, adult-ness, feminine, and the warrior, with the remaining colours of red, yellow, orange, and green.

The being at point -something- happened that ended up making the Voice punish him by locking away half of his memories (and the similar memories from the world) and the sheep side of himself. Locking him in a mostly basic and close to primal state. Mostly only feeling the primal emotions and scared of becoming known by society. He only ever interacted with his girlfriend and boyfriend who both knew him before it happened. The only real hint of the old memories was the girlfriend often accidentally called him the Golden Revival, instead of just Revival with neither knowing where it came from or why, but there must be a reason.

I can only say that this identity that formed was my subconscious trying to remind me of what I forgot. Even in this base sum up of details, so many things parallel and even more I don’t mention. From one of the parents erasing the memories and identity of Revival, there’s just so much there. It was like this identity was subconsciously using DC comics universe as a way to work through and remember what I couldn’t. It was letting me process and work through my issues.

Similar things I think is why Deep Sea Dragon Mimic is a thing. It also is an identity I feel I gained because of internalised unprocessed trauma and shit and hell it still is a safe identity to stay within. Instead of being such an on-the-nose aggressive neon sign of what I went through it’s like this was my subconscious’s way of letting me safely explore bits without the morals. A pure primal beast, but still with the same aspects of myself. A mimic, hiding in plan site. I pretending to be human to be safe, it instead twisting it into defence to being how it gets food. Turning a passive danger into a show of strength and skill. Living deep in the most uninhabitable spaces allowing me to run away from the hell of living with John and the stress of humans where none may enter. Having the innocent I never got. And I was born the year of the dragon, that’s all the reason to me it was a dragon being not some eel or something. It was the birth of me. Born in the year of the fire dragon but able to survive in the deepest waters. A strength I never felt I had.

The subconscious is a fucking powerful thing okay.

I still have so much more I could talk and go through but I think this is enough for one day. The tears are already flowing hard enough as it is. But it felt nice to actually get this out instead of leaving it in my head.

I should make a site of my own. I don’t want to loose this.

was talking with ren (also thank you terios for sending that post as well) about this and i'm gonna say while i would love for Ena to be Gaiathra since it'd be excellent world building, I'm not inclined to believe that they are the same entity

while they all share the Sigonian eye coloration and have heavy similarities, there's also a lot of contradictions separating them.

the similarities are as follows:

tricolor eyes

triclops/triple faced

resurrection/life cycle themes through the three stages of live

HER/THEY

" the silent and unassuming Gaiathra Triclops, with HER immense and weighty torso, quietly encompasses all the living and deceased in Sigonia " (same imagery as Ena)

these by themselves are solid enough evidences to assume they're the same entity, even more if you consider Sigonia as a planet who was under the Order's protection and fell into ruin after their absorption by Xipe, since it's said that every civilization that was under the Order went through calamity after their disappearance. In texts when referring to Gaiathra, she's written as HER much like when one refers to Aeons as THEY.

however that's mostly where the similarities stop. and while we can argue that the themes are similar, since Gaiathra employs martyrdom to her people as a way to tune for their sins. Gaiathra practices are not the same as Ena's, neither are her blessings.

Gaiathra represents fertility, trickery, and travel, themes that aren't related to Ena. There's also the second name of Gaiathra, Fenge Biyos which seems to be related to Baba Fingo, a male deity that comes out during the Kakava to protect the Romani people. The themes of Baba Fingo and Gaiathra actually merge since to Avgin's, Gaiathra is seen as a mother goddess, protector and guide to her people. There's also the mention that Gaiathra does not need music to sing her praises, while Ena is all about the harmonious choir.

and I know that it could all be part of the Enigmata/Mythus doing by mythologizing Ena on Sigonia but I don't think that's the case.

however there's no denying that Gaiathra and Ena are extremely similar and for that i offer you some ideas of why that might be without implying that they are the same entity:

Gaiathra could be of the same species as Ena ( some Aeons like Orobos and Long share species with those who follow their path, it's entirely possible for Gaiathra to be the same situation)

Gaiathra is an older entity than Ena (we just assume she's younger cause Ena is considered part of the Old Aeons but Gods aren't under the same category as Aeons in HSR so it's possible She predates Ena and her path (which also could give way to thinking of Ena being a descendant of Gaiathra/a Sigonian who ascended))

Gaiathra is an original Emanator of the Order who perished (Emanator's might just as well be Gods whose to say there isn't somewhere out there worshipping an Emanator instead of an Aeon?)

as a final note i want to talk about Aventurine's eyes since they are the main factor at play here. In game, Aventurine's eye are enough to get him recognized as a Sigonian but not as an Avgin. Thus it's safe to assume that everyone in Sigonia-IV will have the same characteristic. however, his sister implies that his eyes are blessed, a proof of Gaiathra's blessing which leads me to think that his pattern might be unique. sadly we can't confirm this without seeing what another person from Sigonia might look like to understand just how unique Aventurine's eyes are in comparison. supposedly there should be Sigonians spread throughout the cosmos as many migrated due to the harsh conditions so we may run into some along the travels but we never know.
