These two have such a funny vibe, had to take Zelda out of half their games because you know she’d just be telepathically negging him the whole time. Theyre besties, theyre potentially related, she’s mentally whispering ‘Sandwich’ in his ear whenever he’s trying to focus.

Would or would not, laika and roadboy impulsively dye their if they had the ability

oh they did. thats just canon

rb's hair is not dark blue or black his hair is the same white/light blue as his fur but he dyes it. laika had green hair at one point and if she was a human she would bleach her hair to be the cream color her fur is (she would probably have a darker hair color naturally, more like her ears)

#mailbox #i hope this settles things. smiles #general rule of thumb is most furthians hair color grows the same as their fur color. HOWEVER #there are some cases thats not true #sometimes its a biological change or reason. sometimes its just their fur pattern happens that way #like if a calico had a different color patch of fur but Just on their head #or it may grow as a darker/lighter variation

How do you draw Merida’s hair?! It’s so pretty, especially considering how crazy her hair is in 3D lol. I wanna draw Rotbtd fanart too 😫 (thank you for all your art btw, it’s so refreshing when it’s on my feed!)

Difficult question, every time I draw her I use a slightly different method!

Sometimes it's just a bunch of squiggly lines to convey the curls, sometimes I divide the entire thing in smaller sections, then those sections are divided again, sometimes I use brush strokes to give the illusion of detail

I do keep a few things in mind every time tho, which are

the two curls on her forehead (big long one on the viewer's right that in certain angles covers her eye, smaller on the left) (yeah bottom left pic I got it wrong)

the lenght (VERY long even in curled state)

the general shape (look at movie reference for this one)

adding extra little curls around it so it doesn’t look too "neat and tidy", go crazy with them

#another thing i often do with hair in general is adding a gradient #starting from a warm brighter color on top and ending with a cooler darker shade on bottom #tldr I dont even know what Im doing most of the time!#im not a curly hair expert by any means #asks #anon #art stuff
