I forgot my drawing monitor's cord back home when I left to mom's. Luckily, my friend from USA had send me her old Wacom Bamboo tablet to mom's address some years ago so I was able to draw a little and guys.

Guys.

I love drawing tablet so much more than the monitor. I have had the monitor for many years now but somehow it just doesn't capture the right line vibe for me. My settings are the same but Bamboo does lines softer, rounder, heavier where as the monitor is refined, thin and calculated.

I think I'm going to go back to the Bamboo because while I have been happy with my art, I feel a proper, deep satisfied joy when I look at my art done with the humble Bamboo from 2007.

Perhaps you will spot a difference, too, when I get next the DHD update online.

I just wanna ramble about the Team Torque episode all in one post so thoughts below the cut for people who wanna listen to the chaos on their own. Would recommend- I'll say that up here cause it was such a fun mess 😭

Okay just some of my fav things or things I wanna touch on:

Alex just constantly teasing/dunking on Oscar 😭😭 He really is just giving off older brother vibes with all of these new young drivers

I think technically Alex is gen z... or he's right at the cut off with what year he was born... but he has never seemed more out of touch/lost then we you smash him next to those two chaotic gen z babies. Not in a bad way- he was just giving me suffering millennial vibes for half of that thing and making me laugh

Logan and Oscar are both so lame 😭 like them just being like 'idk we sat in our rooms,' they didn't have any answers to the questions- they are ridiculous! Do they just both power down after the race weekend and then just reactivate when it's time to get on the plane?? I love them dearly.

Touching back on the room thing... Alex insinuating they're staying in the same room, sleeping together........ ALEX PLEASE.

All the drivers stuck in the same hotel?? Chaos. One of you leak the footage. I know something crazy is happening somewhere.

I had a shrink appointment today and while I could not see it I knew my doc was going through the five stages of grief while I explained my fool proof strategy for doing my t shots despite a crippling fear of needles: By abusing my vastly more crippling fear of being an inconvenience.

My mother and I play phasmophobia together every week. she usually has a pretty limited time to do this bc she's like. a doctor and a college professor whos always busy. So I asked her to just. hold me to doing them. We don't start playing until the shot is done. so my needle fear doesn't matter because now it's Wasting™ her time and I have to do it quick. Using one neurosis to defeat another.

It's a horrible coping mechanism because it's feeding the inconvenience fear, but it is definitionally a coping mechanism.

How does this man sit

Gem kindly pointed out that Ethos chair doesn't fit under his desk. His desk also doesn't seem like a desk that can move up and down, it seems like normal desk hight.

So how does this man sit for his desk to be at shoulder height

I've drew my guess on how he does it, be aware I have no knowledge in drawing or anatomy

Because this chair doesn't fit he would need to lean back to have any back support. If we assume he's the standard height of a human he would need to scoot down to the edge of his chair to have his elbows comfortably on his desk

And some of you made fun about Cleos back, this can't be healthy.
