Heyyy, I've never requested anything before so hopefully this isnt too much 😭 but could u do agathario x reader, where reader dies maybe from like disease or she somehow gets caught in a scene where agatha is trying to steal a covens power, and like rio doing everything to fight against her duty and having to take one of her lovers, maybe reader doesn't die instantly but she's like dying in agathas arms and is trying to soothe her wives. Idk if that makes sense its ok if you can't 😭 i hope you have a great day💕💕
- It was not your fault, but mine.
Relationships - Agatha Harkness x Rio Vidal x Reader
Summary - Being married to Agatha and Rio was perhaps your favorite thing ever, the best part of your life. You wanted to be with them forever, but that wish is threatened when you touch a mysterious object outside and fall ill.
Warnings: Major character death, angst
A/N: I love this so much and it was fun to write. Thank you for the request!
You had technically got married to Agatha and Rio for about a year now. Since your type of relationship wasn't excepted by the town you lived in, the three of you got quietly married in a little cottage in the middle of the woods. This was where you spent most of your time, sitting in the cottage and reading books, or picking flowers, or testing out new recipes you wanted to try. Agatha and Rio come and go as they please, always too busy to stay in one place, and you were fine with that. They were still good wives.
Absent mindedly you kicked a rock, the little stone flying across the leaf littered ground and crashing into a tree. They had both been gone for weeks and you had heard no sign of them, no magical raven that had a letter attached to its foot, no quick check in, nothing. While you trusted them and their abilities it had begun to worry you. You stumbled a bit, tripping across something that protruded out of the ground. Letting out a quiet curse, you looked back to see what it was.
A glowing rock, a faint pink hue emitting off of it, sat nestled in the red and orange leaves. You crouched down and grabbed a stick next to you, pointing at it. When it did nothing, you reached towards it, and against your better judgement, picked it up. Searing pain shot through you, fiery sparks crackling through you. You gasped, your eyes squeezing shut as you tried to drop the rock. It didn't fall from your hand as intended. Panic spread through you rapidly as your heart beat faster and faster. The thing was now a bright pink, sparkling so bright it hurt your eyes, and stuck to your hand.
Pain coursed your body, every inch of you filled with searing pain. In a brief moment of clarity, you grabbed a stick from the ground, and making a big effort, traced a circle in the dirt and drew an X through it. Words were whispered from your mouth slowly as you chanted the spell. The lines in the dirt began to glow a soft green color and it wasn't long before they flashed brightly before disappearing.
"I was in the middle of something darling," Rio began, her tone playful and light. Then she paused, her eyes catching on your hand. "What happened?"
You grunted, "I don't know."
She rolled her eyes at your lack of response, taking a step closer and trying to grab your hand. You yanked it away, afraid she would get hurt as well, and that was the last thing you wanted. Rio rolled her eyes once more, fixing you with a reprimanding look.
"Let me see." Rio took your wrist in her hand, not caring much to be gentle, and turned it over, examining the stone. A curious hum escaped her as she poked at it.
"Well?" you hissed, flinching as her nails dug into your skin. She dug her nails deeper, ignoring your whimper of pain, and drew blood. The red droplets spread down your wrist. "What the hell Rio?" You were not in the mood for her jokes right now.
Your wife smiled at you, her dashing and cheeky smile that you had grown to love. Slowly, eyes meeting yours the entire time, she brought your hand up to her mouth and licked strip across the crescent shaped marks. The second she did so, your hand loosened and the rock dropped from your grip, landing on the floor with a thunk. A sigh of relief escaped you as you fell to the ground, laying on your back with your arms spread out. The searing pain that had coated your body dispersed.
Rio chuckled above you, her eyes sparkling with mischief, "Better?"
You nodded, rubbing your wrist absent mindedly, still feeling her soft lips there.
"You know what would make it even better?" You raised both your brows, "A kiss."
Laughing softly, her eyes rolling once more, Rio crouched down. Her lips met yours in a harsh kiss, she was never gentle.
^___________^
It turns out, the three of you had found, that the rock carried a deadly curse. Agatha had kicked the thing, sending it flying before Rio reluctantly retrieved it. The two had been frantically trying to find a cure, despite their supposed casual appearance, you knew it was stressing them out. While they were plagued with the stress of finding a cure, you were plagued with constant pain.
A sharp pain that shot through you. Some days it was manageable, some days it left you crippled in bed, unable to move and barely able to talk. Those were the days that worried your wives the most. Today, thankfully, was one of the good days. You sat with Agatha on the porch, her arms wrapped around you.
"You know I wanted kids," you said suddenly, your fingers toying with her own as you twisted them together, "Or at least one."
You felt Agatha inhale sharply, "We'll have them," she said fiercely, "We can have kids." The sun was setting slowly in the distance, the sky a perfect hue of pink and red. You always had loved the sunsets, and the sunrises, but there was something special about sunsets.
In the distance you could see Rio, perched by the edge of the woods, green magic swirling around her as she did who knows what. She had asked to be alone during the time being. But still, you couldn't help but watch as her arms moved fluidly to cast the spells, her body moving as if in a dance. A soft smile crossed your face.
"Agatha," you whispered softly, "You know that's not going to happen." Looking up at her, you saw her jaw clenched and a dangerous glimmer in your eyes. You knew, that if you died Agatha would take it the hardest. She would blame Rio and that was the last thing you wanted. You gently tugged her fingers, intertwining yours with hers.
"I'd want a boy I would name him Nicholas, little Nicky for short. Ideally, he would have Rio's eyes and your hair, my face, he would be perfect," you smiled up at her, pleased to see a dreamy look in her eyes. It wasn't often that Agatha indulged in fantasies about the future, but she always tried with you. You could imagine a boy, brown eyes that were darker than the night sky, but could hold so much emotion like his mother. Brown hair that was just a little bit wavey, and you would let it grow out if he wanted it to. And lastly, your smile, your nose, all your facial features. He would be the perfect mix up of the three of you. Something that was created through a force of love, but no outside magic used.
Her features softened even further when you winced, a pain flaring up in your back. You waved away her concern, straightening out.
"Would we make him with a spell?" she asked, her voice lowered to match yours.
You shook your head, "No. We would make him from scratch. No incantaion, no spell, no magic."
A little laugh escaped Agatha. She pressed her lips down onto your head, burrowing herself in your hair.
"Whatever you say my love."
^_____________^
You sat in the fields, twisting flowers in your hands to form a crown. This one was made with dandelions, the stems intertwined as you threaded them through each other. Two other crowns sat next to you, one with azaleas and the other with black roses. You had plucked the thorns off of course, not that Rio would care.
One of the perks of being married to a green witch was that she could produce any flowers you wanted, and she did just that. Rio always grew flowers if you asked them, even if she rolled her eyes and said they were too colorful for her taste, she wanted to make you happy.
Your fingers twitched as pain flared through you, but you worked through the pain. The two had gone out that morning in search of other possible cures, but promised to be back in time to sleep with you. The sun was setting in the distance, the sky a beautiful gradient of orange and yellow.
Crows cawed above you, their black wings flapping as they soared in circles. A little smile flitted across your face. Both of your lovers adored crows, their passion for them always made you happy. Before you had more time to ponder if Rio was up in the crows, there was a hot breath in your ear.
“Boo.”
You jumped away, placing a hand over your heart as you glared at Rio. She was cackling, nearly falling back into Agatha who stood with an amused smile on her face. The purple witch shoved Rio away, moving forward and placing a tender kiss on your lips.
“I made you something,” you scooped up the azalea flower crown and stood, placing it one her head despite her pout, “Can’t you at least pretend to like it?”
Agatha rolled her eyes, “It’s amazing darling, I love it.”
Smiling happily, you rewarded her with a soft kiss before turning to Rio who was watching the scene quietly. You weren’t even sure when she had stopped laughing.
“Ooo,” she cooed, stepping closer, her finger curling as she took hold of her crown, “I love it, my love.”
You blushed at her words. While you loved Agatha’s pet names, Rio’s did something to you. The Green Witch placed it on her head with a broad smile.
“Do you have one?” Rio looked around, her eyes landing on the dandelions in the grass. She reached down, scooping it up before placing it on your head with a proud smile.
Agatha came up behind you, wrapping her arms around your waist, “You look beautiful darling.”
A deep blush crossed your face when her breath fanned against your neck. Rio took a step closer, her finger curling under your chin. A sinister smirk crossed her face.
“Good enough to eat.”
^_____________^
You coughed harshly as you curled into a ball, pain flaring up everywhere in your body. Everything hurt and it felt like you were on fire. Agatha's fingers clutched you tightly, one of her hands carding through your hair as she attempted to comfort you. Rio was no where to be seen.
"Agatha," you choked out.
The woman above you shook her head, "Don't say it. You're fine. It'll pass."
You wanted to smile at her stubbornness, it was always your favorite trait about her. These past few days the curse had been getting worse, and Rio was disappearing more and more often. You knew what that meant. You were fairly certain Agatha knew what it meant, she just didn't want to admit it. Trying to fight through the sparks that shot through you, you played with her fingers, bringing them to your lips.
Your words were soft against her skin, "I love you."
"No, you have more time," she said harshly.
You felt it when Rio entered and based on Agatha's sharp inhale, you knew what she was here for. Painfully, you turned your head to look at Rio, clad in her green dress that represented the part of her that was alive. A bitter smile crossed your face.
"Don't take her," Agatha spat, her grip tightening on you despite your wince, "You can't." Trying to force words out of your mouth, you wanted to tell Agatha it was okay, that it wasn't Rio's fault. "If you do this I will hate you."
Rio's features flinched, but she made no move to step closer, "I held it off as long as I could."
"It's not her time," Agatha snarled.
While it was painful, you reached up, your hand cupping Agatha's cheek to force her to look at you, "My love," you whispered softly, "I have to go."
"No." She shook her head, so much desperation conveyed into that one movement.
"Don't hate her. Please? It's not her fault."
“I don’t want to do it,” Rio added, her voice wavering, and it was the first time you had ever heard her sound so fragile, so vulnerable.
Agatha's lower lip wobbled, tears shimmering in her eyes as she clenched her jaw, fighting off the sorrow. She closed her eyes, a small tear slipping out at the action and you wanted nothing more than to give her a big hug.
Her voice was oh so quiet when she whispered, "Okay."
A small smile spread across your face. It was only then that Rio came closer, bending down so her lips were just above yours. So many emotions were conveyed through her eyes. Words asking for forgiveness, ones that expressed her sadness, and some angry. You wanted to give her a hug too. Instead, Rio leant down, her lips brushing against yours.
The kiss deepened and that's when you felt the pain stop.

Agatha All Along Theory: The Road isn't real
(Disclaimer: I'll be using Teen's real name at some point so you better be up to date before reading)
Here's a theory I need to post before the last episodes air in case I'm right.
The actual Witches Road never existed. It was just a con Agatha created to trick witches and steal their magic. The reason why people think you can't survive the road is because everyone who tried to get there died (killed by Agatha). Alice even said the Road was just a con, because it was. Agatha's first reaction to Teen mentioning the Road is that it's not real, because she knows it's not. She even told him the Road would kill him- because the Road was always a con to kill witches and take their powers.
Agatha never intended to get her current coven there, she always planned for the song to fail and to provoke them so they'd attack her and she could get her magic back. She didn't want Teen to be there to spare him that fate.
That's why Agatha looked genuinely surprised when the Road does appear, and she doesn't seem to actually be familiar with it. She probably spread the rumour that she is the only one who survived in order to lure witches who are interested. The reason why she said she takes power from the undeserving is because she considered that witches who want to walk the road are too lazy to learn magic on their own, it's a way for her to justify killing them. She even told Teen that he wanted to take a "shortcut" with a bit of contempt in her voice when he mentioned looking for the Road.
Now as for this Witches Road... it's prob a hex Billy created without realizing it. The door only appeared after he started to be afraid of the Salem Seven, and it had a hexagon shape. Sounds familiar? Just like Wanda's hex. And I bet Agatha always had a doubt it was him, since she knew damn well the Road wasn't real since she made it up. She looked genuinely confused when it first appeared and definitely do not know anything about it and kept bullshitting her way to the others and acting as an expert.
Billy said "this is exactly how I pictured it" and Agatha replied "it suits you" because she knew he made it. It actually suited him. A lot of the stuff in the hex are based on him, lots of reference to his room as Billy Kaplan. And that's what Agatha meant by "you and your mother have the same tell". They both created an alternate reality unconsciously due to strong emotions. That's how she knew he was Wanda's son, the major clue. His magic works similarly to hers.
That would also explain Agatha's reaction to Sharon's death. "I didn't know you had it in you" was directed at Billy. Agatha wasn't expecting people to actually die since he created the road. So at that moment, she realized that child created a deadly hex, and didn't think he had it in him (not that he killed Sharon on purpose, but the road he made did).
That might explain Rio's reaction, usually the con of the road doesn't go that far, so she's feeling impatient because these witches should have been dead a while ago when Agatha lured them. That could also explain why Rio herself didn't seem familiar with the Road, since it never existed before.
That could also explain why Agatha argued with Jen regarding the lyrics of the ballad. If the road is her con, then she wrote the original lyric and might be unaware that some terms changed over time (like two becoming through).
So, the current road was created by Billy subconsciously, but the concept of the road was created by Agatha as long time ago as a con and ironically, it became real because of Billy. So, the title is true. It really was... Agatha all Along.

you knocked onto the door of the morales' household, being greeted by miles' mother with a happy smile.
"hola, cariño. please come in." she opened the door for you as you nodded with a smile, taking off your shoes before entering.
"is miles here?" you asked, walking towards his room.
“he said he was running some errands but don't worry, he'll be back." mrs morales reassured me.
"is miles here?" you asked, walking towards his room.
"he said he was running some errands but don't worry, he'll be back." mrs morales reassured me.
as you entered his room, you laid flat on his bed, a happy sigh leaving your lips since this was the first time in a month that you and miles has finally get to spend some time with each other. you then looked at the clock, 12:01.
"he should be back before 12:05." you mumbled as you took out your phone, scrolling through social media.
4 minutes have passed. miles wasn't here.
the clock hit 12:30, miles wasn't here and you already texted him, asking him where he is.
12:45, miles still wasn't here.
it was 1:15 when miles* mom came to check up on you, knocking softly on the door before opening it.
"cariño, is he still not here?" she asked with a frown, seeing you sit up from the bed from waiting.
"no, not yet mama morales." you shook your head with disappointment.
"ah, where is this boy when you need him." mrs morales grunted as she went to go find her phone, getting ready to scold her son, but when she tried calling him, miles wouldn't pick up the phone.
"i'm sorry, sweetie.. i tried but he's not picking up." mrs morales said as she leaned on the door, feeling bad since she knows how long you two have planned to meet up with each other.
“i have to go to work, y/n.. i wish i could stay." mrs morales continued as she looked at her watch.
"no, it's fine, please. i insist." you try to give her a warm smile to show that you weren't sad.
"aw, come here." she walked closer and gave you a hug as you hugged her back.
"trust me, when that kid comes back home tonight, i'll ground him for a month but he can only go out somwhere only if he's with you." she patted your back as you let out a chuckle.
"thank you, mrs morales." the both of you slowly pulled away as you gave her a light-hearted smile.
rio then started to grab her things as she made her way to the door. you also walked out of miles* room to greet her goodbye, standing around the living room area.
"if you're hungry, please grab something before you leave, y/n, alright?" she asked before leaving.
"of course!" you responded back.
after hearing the door close, a sigh left your lips once again as you looked around in the living room, feeling lonely.
you went back to lay in miles' bed, you waited for 2 more hours. it was 3pm. you had enough.
"i’ll just take food some other time." you mumbled in a monotone voice as you made your way back to miles’ room to grab you things.
as you turned around to leave miles' room, you didn't know you were greeted by a standing milo, who made you fall in front of his chest as he caught you just in time.
"falling for me already, mami?" he asked with a smirk as he raised his brow.
"haha.. very funny, milo." you said sarcastically as you got off him.
milo was miles twin brother. how did you tell them apart exactly? well: miles just kept his hair natural as milo had braids.
and why was he openly flirting with you when you were his brother's girlfriend? let's just say he had feelings for you before you and miles made it official.
you and milo were talking and flirting here and there but he never really made a move so you didn't either, until his brother came into the picture. milo was planning on asking you out but sadly, miles beat him to it first. milo loved his brother even if he didn't show it, so he just remained friends with you.
"so... miles canceled again?" milo asked, already knowing the answer, he just wanted to push your buttons.
"what do you think?" you responded back with a snarky tone.
"i'm telling you, ma. you chose the wrong twin.” milo said with a shrug.
"i'm doing fine with miles, milo.. i don't need anymore of your bullshit." you grumbled, trying not to play into his game.
“suit yourself, but you're gonna wake up some day feeling that you wasted your time on that no sabo headed ass kid when you could've had me."
"hmm. no wonder why miles is older than you, he's more wiser and mature and he wouldn't be saying this shit about his own brother." you rambled on sarcastically.
"oh you're getting personal now, huh? low blow, ma.” milo pretended to look hurt.
"whatever, milo." you rolled your eyes, softly pushing his chest to get through the door.
"just saying, i could treat you so much better." milo said with a cocky smirk as he looked at you while you were walking.
but that statement made you stop your tracks as you turned around to look at him.
"oh really? how would you do that exactly?" you challenged him, raising a brow.
"for starters, i would never cancel on you and let you look stupid out in public." milo said smugly, inching closer to you, placing a hand on the right side of your cheek and slowly pulling you face closer to his.
your breath hitched as you slightly flinched, wanting to move away from his hold but your legs refused to move you at all. milo noticed his effect on you and smirked.
"and, this." his tone shifted. he didn't allow you the time to think as he closed the space between. his lips gently pressed on yours in a quick yet provocative kiss.
you let out a tiny gasp after pulling away from the kiss, touching your lips as you were shocked of what had just happened.
‘i just kissed my boyfriend's twin brother.' you thought to yourself as you looked at milo with astonishment.
"you can deny it all you want, but we both liked that." milo said with a smirk. he was already getting ready to go for round two - but it was clear you needed a moment to register what happened.
before you could say anything, milo began to kiss you once again, making you drop your bag as he pushed you against the wall to deepen the kiss.
this time, milo didn't hold back. he was confident in his moves, in his ability to coax this kiss out of you. he had an aura about him - one that left you helpless to your own desires. your tongues locked in heated passion, moving in harmony as an intoxicating wave of desire slowly pulled you under.
suddenly, the doorknob on the front door begin to shake, making you both to stop kissing as both of your attention was both turned to the door.
"milo!" you whisper-yelled, getting worried of who might walk in. it might be their dad, their mom, or worse, it could be miles himself..
the moment they stopped kissing, milo realized the gravity of what was taking place. he knew that his next move would be a risk, but he decided to take it anyways.
"dont worry, ma." he said with a playful wink. “i can do this in silence." before you were able to object, he then shoved you into the bathroom, entering it after closing the door.
milo pushed you against the door, getting ready to devour you again. he placed one of his hands to the wall above your head, holding you in place as he had his way with you. as milo continued to kiss you passionately, his tongue was searching for entry. he was driven by an insatiable hunger, one that he could only fulfill on you.
"told you that we'll do it in silence, ma." he whispered into your ear. his breath was hot as he kissed your neck in the spot that was most vulnerable, before biting into it gently.
you bit your lip, trying to suppress your noises as you threw your head back, giving milo more access to your neck. you grabbed onto his shoulders as you were on the verge of letting out a tiny noise until you heard a familiar voice ring out in the hallways.
"milo! is y/n here?" miles yelled out as he entered the apartment.
fuck.
milo's eyes widened at the sound of his brother's voice. the situation was already complicated, he didn't need miles walking in on both of you in this position.
quickly, he pulled back and covered your mouth. he pointed to your lips, signaling for you to keep quiet. as miles footsteps came closer towards the bathroom, milo whispered in your ear one final time before heading out.
*i'll take care of this cabrón, just don't make a noise when you leave, ight?" milo whispered as he waited for a response. you nodded.
and just when milo was ready to distract his brother, he got ready to open the door but then he stopped, trying to close it slightly.
milo wasn't expecting miles to be right outside.
"well? was she here or not?" miles asked, getting a bit impatient.
milo quickly composed himself, as if he didn't just have a make out session with you a moment ago. he casually leaned against the door frame, putting up a front of casual conversation as miles question hung in the air.
"bro, she left like 2 hours ago." milo casually scratched the back of his head, still keeping you out his brother's line of sight as their conversation continued.
"ugh.. well, i know she's definitely pissed." miles groaned as he headed to his room to change.
"just text her an apology or sumn," milo shrugged. miles walked towards his room as milo let out a relieved sigh.
"we got lucky, ma," he whispered to you. “i gotta go bullshit my way into that clown. keep quiet, got it?"
you only nodded as milo left the bathroom, walking to miles’ bedroom and leaning against the doorframe. milo then began to distract his brother, making a way for you to escape the bathroom and leave their apartment without making a sound.
once you completely left the apartment, you let out a breath that you didn't even know you were holding.
"what the fuck.." you mumbled under your breath as you still tried to register of what was happening.
════════════════════════
’good work, ma.’ milo thought to himself. he had the dumbest grin plastered on his face as he watched you go. he then turned towards his brother.
"yo, bro." milo said, giving miles a friendly pat on the back.
"got any plans tonight?"
"well, i gotta go over to y/n's and apologize to her, but did you just have someone over?" miles smirked at his brother.
"whatchu mean?" milo asked. miles pointed to his own lips as milo went to a mirror, seeing a faint color of pink lipstick on his lips.
milo looked taken aback, as if he was caught red handed, but he still kept his composure.
"yeah, i did, actually." he admitted after a moment. "but we were just chilling, y'know? nothing serious." milo added, not trying to reveal too much.
"mhm.. lil bro's finally getting some!" miles teased milo, throwing an arm around milo's shoulder and bringing him slightly down to rub his knuckles on his head, knowing milo hated it whenever he did this.
"yeah, yeah, whatever, dumbass." milo pushed him away with a chuckle.
oh, this was going to be messy.

Please Chill
Please, I am begging you all to chill out. I'm speaking specifically to my wlw Agatha fans right now. Even more specifically to the ones who are angry that the last episode revolved around Teen/Billy.
He is a main fucking character. His backstory is important to the plot. We only get nine episodes in this series and the plot needs to move forward. We cannot do that without revealing who he is and what his motivations are, from a storytelling standpoint.
I studied creative writing in college. I worked really fucking hard to get into my program, too. I took classes on novel writing, mainly, but also in screenwriting and playwriting. I took classes on TV writing in the mid 2010's at a time where the trend was shifting to streaming services putting out entire fucking seasons at a time.
But I remember having to wait a week for an episode of a show I loved. I remember what happened to my favorite wlw characters. I remember being absolutely devastated by Lexa's death in The 100. I know you're scared of it happening again, but there is so much evidence on the contrary to prove that it's not going to happen here.
Firstly, I don't think for a second that some of the actresses who signed up for this would have done so if they thought they were going to pull the same shit. I don't think Jac or Kathryn or fucking Aubrey, who legit said that she signed up because it's a queer show, would do that.
But i don't know. Because the show isn't over. We have three episodes left over the next two weeks. I, like you all, am praying that they're not about to pull some bullshit, especially considering the majority of their current fanbase is comprised of queer people.
But you can't just call them lesbophobic because they focused on a canonically gay character rather than your favorite lesbian ship for one(1) episode. They have confirmed that Rio and Agatha are estranged exes. They showed us so much flirting and yearning and longing. From a storytelling standpoint, they are building that tension for a great payoff. Its's gonna happen. Please, just be patient.
I was upset, too. I did not want them to shift focus to Billy. When I saw that that was going to be the majority of the episode, I was upset. I made a couple posts about it. But I still watched and it was honestly a pretty good, important episode. And fucking funny as all hell. We truly saw the aftermath of Wanda's actions. Wanda, who wasn't trying to be malicious or harmful, but she still caused so much harm.
As much as I would have loved to see Rio, I understand why she wasn't in this episode just yet, but she'll likely be in the next one. It was probably only like 2 minutes after he threw them into the mud that Agatha crawled out. Also we see Lilia and Jen in future promos, so they'll be fine.
I predict that the next three episodes are going to be longer and more plot heavy moving forward. I really hope we see more of Agatha's delusions from the POV of Rio, because Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey are fucking hilarious and I know it's going to be just as funny as last night's Teen POV.
I want to see people theorizing about the next three episodes and what's going to happen and how they're going to rectify anything, but I'm seeing so many negative posts about why your favorite lesbians didn't kiss or fuck yet on this Disney show. Please, just be fucking patient. It's coming.
That being said, if I am wrong, I will be the first to admit it and be super salty about it. I hope I'm not, but who knows? I'm not going to make a snap decision either way. You shouldn't either.

It really took me 24 hours to realize something. It's not that the ending is a bad ending. I mean, take us back a week ago. We all said that their kiss would be the kiss of death. We all predicted that Agatha would sacrifice herself for Teen. We also saw that the Road was it was very probable that Billy or Agatha (turned out both) could have created the road. If we all thought it, that says something and that is this ending made sense. So why are we all so angry ? Because even if it was an ending that made sense, they didn't write it in a way that it would make sense. And I'm not saying we didn't get a redemption arc when we should have. I don't think Agatha should have had a redemption arc. However we should at least have had her accepting Death as the end. And also her bonding with Teen. Because yes she has bonded with him but clearly not the point of choosing to die because he mentions Nicky. Which seriously, this sentence made no sense, gave absolute no explanations. Another major issue is the dynamic between Agatha and Rio. Them in episode 8 has nothing to do with all we saw before. It really feels like something happened that we missed or like the story was different. What they showed us of Nicky was beautiful, also doesn't explain Agatha and Rio dynamic in 8 while 8 makes the conflict all about Nicky. Apart from the grave, the whole scene in Agatha's basement was ridiculous. When Agatha is in Teen house, he doesn't act at all like he wants to kill her. And all of sudden he wants to banish her. I'm serious, they fucked up the relationship dynamics and developments. Same goes for Jennifer. She makes it out of road and she doesn't even search for Teen ? Because that would be the best reaction for someone who just said she wasn't letting anyone die under her watch again and that doesn't know Teen is behind her torture. Again, at the opposite of the development we saw of Jennifer. And Billy, which his portrayal is completely chaotic since episode 6. One time when Agatha comes out of the mud he appears like he wants to see her dead. Then in 8 he trusts her with his life all over again. And don't get me started of the nonsense of Billy in episode 9. And no I'm not a Billy hater, but they certainly write him as an inconstant character that obviously results in him being mistrusted by the viewers. Also what pisses me off is that Lilia's ending was perfect, and even Alice sour departure was beautifully handled. Which adds even more to it the sense of ruin.
And there was strong dialogue, strong acting skills in those two last episodes, beautiful scenes on screen. But it still doesn't make sense. I solemnly thank the actors for their portrayal, I thank the whole production team, makeup, costumes, light, cut, sets, everything because this was by far one of the best MCU projects - if not the best. And I doubt it's someone fault for what happened with the last episodes. SO PLEASE DON'T GO HATING ON PEOPLE. Please, think of your own humanity, and even if media make it very easy to succumb to hate, no one is responsible, no one deserves your hate for their part into the production of a show. What gives me a bit of hope is that they were so much left untold that it is possible we get a season 2 or other projects centered around Agatha or Jennifer or other witches. And because there was so much blur, we, as writer and reader, can see the opportunity to partake into a fiction we all so loved. So don't give up on Agatha All Along just yet and see a bit of the bright side. And because, the MCU ethics seriously should be questioned, wait on me, I will come with an essay down the line. And if I do and if you think it's worth readable, I'll send it to Marvel teams.

People often talk about Rio Ranger as if he's the doll version of Sei but what I find super fascinating is that he isn't, not in the same way Fake Reko or the Dummies are replications of their human counterparts.
Ranger resembles Sei on a surface level — same physical appearance, just an unclear amount older; same way of speaking. But he is unmistakably different. Ranger is an incomplete being, missing his positive emotions, but even the true Ranger is Rio Laizer rather than Sei, because there's still something different.
Rio Ranger is, fundamentally, inhuman and yet desperate to be human. He was created to be jealous of humanity and despite his hatred for them, humanity is what he is always striving for. But it is something that he doesn't possess, and is forced to steal instead. He takes clothes from the dead and uses drawings on cards to feign emotion; he is the Dress-Up Doll, Rearranger, not possessor of anything of his own.
While the other dolls based on humans in the game have identity issues based on their personhood being defined by someone else, being merely a copy of another person, Ranger is not even allowed Sei's identity to base himself on — it's very likely he doesn't even know who Sei was. He does not have Sei's clothes — nondescript and tied to Asunaro as they are — and he does not have the capacity for expressing emotion that Sei had.
When comparing Ranger and Sei in terms of personality, differences are obvious. There are similarities, naturally — besides the abrasive way of speaking, there's the jealousy and desire for validation. But in Ranger, these are present to an extreme — they're all he has. (And, ironically, this is what Gashu claims to believe makes him so human, even when Ranger's inhumanity comes through most clearly in this lack of anything else.)
In Sei, on the other hand, these traits are tempered by logic, to put things in YTTD's beloved logic vs. emotion dichotomy. Despite his outwardly emotional nature, from what we see of him he appears realistic and focused on survival in a way that Kai isn't. He's aggressive and overly casual about killing people, but he doesn't express the glee at violence that Ranger does, only a fierce desire to prove himself and survive. Sei is jealous of Kai and desires Gashu's affection, but also has an understanding of the situation he's in that both Kai and Ranger lack — he can tell that Gashu doesn't care about him as much as he does Kai, and recognizes that the way Gashu treats both of them is wrong. Ranger believes Gashu truly loves him, a fact proven blatantly false by his eventual demise at Gashu's hands. Ironically, this blindness is more similar to Kai as we see him in his minisode, rather than Sei.
Of course, this understanding isn't simply a part of Sei's basic nature, but rather the fact that unlike Kai and Ranger, he has past experience to go on. Sei wasn't born into the Satou family — though his exact origins are unclear, based on his grief for his birth father and how he talks about Asunaro ("all this shady organization crap"), it's possible he wasn't even born into Asunaro at all. Before being sent to Gashu, he had his own father, one who we don't know anything about but whom he apparently loved. He doesn't accept Gashu's treatment of him and Kai the way Kai does because he has known a different father and a different way of life. This doesn't free him from Asunaro's influence — he still accepts the role of assassin they give him and resigns himself to becoming a killer. What choice does he have, after all? But he carries no illusions about Asunaro or his role in it. He knows that the training is cruel, that he is viewed only as a tool, that Asunaro is wrong even if they are also not worth resisting.
This is a major part of why Ranger isn't Sei, why he cannot be; because Asunaro is all Ranger knows. They are his creators, who he was literally built to serve. In Ranger's mind, he is not only Gashu's son and heir, but his creation, his masterpiece. And of course he wouldn't have been created with Sei's memories — why take that risk? Why give him any sort of knowledge of a life outside Asunaro or reason to be disloyal to them?
Ranger is not Sei — so why model Ranger after him? Because Ranger is the idea of Sei, what Sei was meant to be: a counterpart to Kai, a rival, a second choice. Gashu preferred Kai, once; Kai won out over Sei. But Kai has proven himself a failure and betrayed Asunaro, leaving Gashu with no choice but turn once more to Kai's long-dead competition. Ranger is, like Sei, the opposite of Kai, temperamental and vulgar while Kai is stoic and polite, and perhaps more importantly, capable of murder while Kai steadfastly is not.
And yet Ranger isn't Sei. Sei was jealous of those — specifically Kai — he saw as superior or at least as being treated as such; Ranger is this idea taken to its natural conclusion. Sei had lost everything he had outside of Asunaro; Ranger never had anything else to begin with. Sei was a human; Ranger will never be, doomed to forever long otherwise. Ranger is Sei only in the ways Sei was useful — desperate for recognition, willing to kill, a perfect rival to Kai — but something entirely different, an inhuman machine, in all the ways Sei was a liability.
Sei was human, and he knew that he deserved to have that fact respected. Ranger isn't human and gets only the wanting, desperate to be as good as a human even humanity itself is unattainable. Of course, it isn't being a doll that is actually Ranger's problem — it's Asunaro, who view humans and dolls alike as disposable. Sei's humanity didn't make him any less of a tool as far as Asunaro was concerned, it only made him more difficult to control. All Sei wanted was to be seen as an equal to Kai, a person worthy of respect — and this is what he gets, in the end: his face and voice used as a base for one of Asunaro's weapons, while his true identity and personhood remains forgotten.
Ranger has nothing to hold him back from doing his duty for Asunaro, nor does he have anything to hold onto outside of it. In that sense, Ranger is an ideal asset for Asunaro — at least until the very jealousy and hatred Gashu programmed into him goes too far, and he is, once again, deemed a failure. Ironically, Gashu shoots Ranger for attempting to kill a participant, when willingness to kill was perhaps the one true advantage Sei had over Kai.
In the end, Ranger is offered no more humanity in his death than Sei is — they are both merely pawns of Asunaro, set to die at its whims. But while Sei dies in the arms of his brother, receiving one final act of kindness as Kai refuses to kill him, Ranger has no one in either of his deaths but his creators: in his death as Rio Laizer the dubious kindness of Tia Safalin, making his final moments full of agonizing guilt, and of course in his first death, as Rio Ranger, nothing but Gashu's coldness, the bullet in his head a sort of culmination to the favoritism Sei found weighed against him, and a demonstration of just how far Gashu has come from the father who once genuinely cared for Sei. Sei was human, Ranger was not, but as far as Asunaro is concerned, they are exactly the same: tools, easily thrown away as soon as they stop being useful.

Who’s afraid of Little Old Me and Beautiful Stranger!! I want to know everything :DD
-👻
Okay so Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? Is 100% based on the song by Taylor Swift. I hadn't originally put much thought into it other than I thought it felt very Human Hybrid coded.
Though to now go in depth with it…
-Wanda is actually a CEO and Natasha is a personal trainer for high end clients such as celebrities.
-Bumble has had six owners before Wanda and Natasha. Each one seemingly worse than the last.
-Bumble has had other names, but she doesn't remember them due to trauma and blocking it from her memories.
-For as much as Bumble will bite or growl when scared or feeling cornered she is a flight over fight response.
-Bunny hybrids tend to be the smallest hybrids. Usually females range from 4’8-5’0 while males are 5’0-5’5.
-Fennec fox hybrids tend to be about the same size as bunnies.
-Red fox hybrids(the most common fox hybrid) tend to have females ranging from 5’2-5’7 and males from 5’5-5’9.
-Cat hybrids tend to be in the range of females being 4'9-5’1 and males being 5’1-5’6
-Dog hybrids have the biggest range where both females and males can range from 4'8-5'10 depending on their breed
-Hybrids have ears and tails associated with their breed.
-Hybrids have hair colors of their breed. Examples: Bumble is a German shepherd hybrid, her hair, ears, and tail are gray and brown from being an Isabella German Shepherd. Scratchy is a Holland Lop with gray hair, ears, and a white tail.
-All hybrids walk on all fours.
-Bunnies can walk on two and hop around.
-Fennec foxes and greyhounds are the fastest breeds and need lots of space to run off-leash.
-hybrids also have similar teeth to their breeds. Bunnies have bigger front teeth, dogs, cats, and foxes have bigger canines.
-hybrids also tend to keep similar diets to their full animal counterparts. Cats need to have fish, dogs need meat, bunnies need more veggies, foxes need more fruits.
-There are more “exotic” hybrids
- “exotic” breeds can range from farm animals to wild animals like lions and bears.
Beautiful Stranger
-Wanda and Vision had been together for ten years. They were high school sweethearts that turned sour.
-It was briefly mentioned in chapter 1 that reader had gone back and forth between majors before taking a few years off.
-Reader was dealing with personal matters (mental health related) between trying to have a job and being a full time student took its toll on her and she ended up dropping psychology as her major and went general studies for a semester. After that she debated on history before realizing that also wasn't for her. That's when the gap year that turned into three happened.
-Though reader seems very nonchalant about Wanda being pregnant in chapter 2 she certainly had an internal freak out about it and gay panicked before getting the words out.
-Reader had dated Rio (who introduced this universe is only a few years older) but things didn't work out when both girls realized they loved older women.
-Yelena and reader grew up together in Ohio! They were best friends and always hung out until Yelena had to move away for her parents' work.
-They stayed in contact and when they got into the same college it was an immediate yes and an application for a room together!
-Wanda actually thought reader was beautiful the first time she saw her. When she saw reader laying in the grass, skin glistening with sweat she just had to go say hi.
-In chapter 1 Wanda comes to reader asking to babysit because her sitter canceled, but that wasn't true she had never called a sitter.
-Also Wanda didn't have to be out as late as she was. She wanted reader to sleep over that night.
-Also a final note I know when this is going to end. I've had that in mind since I started this so there should be 2-3 chapters left~

Agatha All Along season finale discussion because AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Spoilers on the road ahead!
So a LOT happened in this two parter, so I'm just gonna hit the major points in order...
So despite my thinking that two of the Salem Seven survived because of the number of sword fall sounds last episode, they are apparently all dead. Which, y'know what, I don't mind. They weren't really meant to be actual characters, mostly just Nazgul-esque opponents to add some extra stakes, and having Lilia successful destroy them all with her sacrifice is the most earned ending for them.
When we get to the final trial, it's more or less the three remaining witches stuck in a room having to resolve their purposes on the Road. For Jen, we had her unbinding herself and the reveal that Agatha was the one who bound her. Admittedly, I kinda feel like that reveal was underdone, and it mostly just seemed like a quick asspull to resolve Jen's storyline at the eleventh hour. However, I really felt for Jen and the catharsis of unbinding herself, so I can't complain too terribly much.
Secondly, we resolve Billy's ambitions to restore Tommy, and this one, I was generally more favorable about than Jen's. Billy basically helped put Tommy into the body of another boy who died prematurely, one who was being drowned in an apparently very toxic environment. In the comics, Tommy was in and out of juvie all his life, and the Young Avengers find him in a supermax prison because of his powers. So, I'm assuming Thomas Shepherd, the boy whose body Billy hijacks, is in juvie or some correctional facility, and that's where we're gonna pick up with him in Vision Quest. Also, Agatha's line about "sometimes boys just die" was a fucking ARROW TO THE HEART, especially with the backstory in the following episode.
Then for Agatha, she completes the road's test by growing a sapling that she finds in her locket holding Nicholas's hair and emerges from the road back in Westview, where Rio is waiting for her. And DAMN was the final battle against Rio one of the coolest in Marvel. With Billy going FULL Wiccan mode and Agatha siphoning off his power but not enough to kill him. It was your standard Marvel final battle, but I really enjoyed the spectacle of it and how insurmountable of a foe Rio felt like. Agatha almost betraying Billy so that she can live but then changing her mind and sacrificing her life for his was such a powerful moment of full circle for her. After everything she's done to other witches and to Billy's own mother, for her to finally embrace death (and LITERALLY embrace the kiss of Death) was super powerful and showed how the road genuinely did change her. Personally, I usually hate redemption arcs, but this one, I actually really liked and supported because it wasn't about Agatha giving up her sense of self to be someone else, it was about making a choice out of love in the moment. I thought it was a beautiful way to resolve the story, and I was wondering what the heck else they were going to do with the last episode.
And then we got the reveal that I saw a few people guessing that Billy created the Witches' Road and that Agatha had never been on it, and I think that was a really well deserved reveal that hit for me exactly as it was intended. I loved that Billy created it because he has "the same tell" as Wanda with WandaVision. He made this grand fantasy adventureland, and that's SO cool! He, too, apparently is capable of spontaneous creation like Wanda, and I'm curious how they're going to tie this in with the MCU lore about the Scarlet Witch. In the comics, Billy is the Demiurge, and I'm interested in finding out if Marvel is going to bring in that concept or if they're going to do something new with the prophecy of Scarlet Witch. Maybe a secret hidden verse to the prophecy? We saw Billy's statue in Mount Wundagore in Multiverse of Madness, so maybe old Chthon knew a lil' somethin' else. I also liked the reveal that the Witches Road was a con that Agatha used to lure unsuspecting witches into giving her their powers. That was clever, as was the way that it tied in with her backstory.
SPEAKING OF, that backstory with Nicholas Scratch was the most heartbreaking thing, and I loved every minute of it. Her bond with Nicholas and the way that she showed genuine humanity to him was a side to Agatha we only saw the periphery of in her relationship with Billy, so seeing it fully realized was SO powerful and so well done. Rio giving her a good seven(ish?) extra years with Nicholas also speaks volumes because in Rio's mind, she was doing Agatha a HUGE favor that violated the cosmic order and to some extent, she DID because it showed Agatha a purpose beyond just power. However, it also probably hurt her worse than just taking Nicholas upon birth. She gave Agatha years to love and get attached to her son, and that, I'm sure, made the wound of losing him that much deeper (and Kathryn Hahn's acting with those screams of anguish upon finding Nicky dead were SOUL CRUSHING - she KILLED it). So, yeah, interesting that it was such a double edged sword. I also thought the twist that Nicholas and Agatha wrote the Ballade together as their little song and it eventually spread because of him singing it to other witches was REALLY clever and REALLY powerful.
And, finally, Agatha is back as a ghost, and she's sticking around Billy as his spirit guide/mentor, which I really like. I'm sure some people are going to take umbrage at Marvel cheating death again, but this is a show that racked up bodies of major characters left and right, and Agatha being dead and a spirit I'm sure is going to have big changes for her and her power and characterization going forward. Plus from Evanora Harkness, it's an established part of the lore. So, for me, it works, and I like it. I also like the touch of her looking more like her comics counterpart with gray hair in ghost form, and I'm honestly REALLY excited to see Billy and Agatha as a dynamic duo continue on in future Marvel properties.
Overall, I LOVED Agatha All Along. It was an incredible journey, and it was the most I've enjoyed a Marvel property in awhile. I feel optimistic about the future of this particular corner of the MCU, and I'm so glad I got to go with everyone down the Witches Road :)

after that agatha finale i have many thoughts about rio as death and all the symbolism behind her actions so beware of spoilers for the whole series also in no particular order its gonna be stuff i remember so I'll be jumping around
I'm going to start with the last agathario scene that we gays were hoping The Kiss™️ which is kinda obvious about a kiss from death which is very common in literature and it symbolizes dying so that part was very direct, idk if this means they never kissed before or not but in that moment agatha had a clear goal of getting rio's power for herself and they both knew it would kill her as she said in the first ep... this does imply that she probably tried to do this before but rio stopped her when they were in love all those centuries ago
which kinda goes into a theory that maybe their first entanglement (whatever that implies) created nicky, cause agatha says she didn't do a spell or incantation to create him, he was made from scratch, and rio being The green witch™️ deals not only with death and decay but the cycle of life and death, creation and destruction, so it makes sense that he is their child, created from their love, which is why it hurt them both when she had to take him away, he was also something that challenged the balance of the universe, like billy, and rio allowed agatha to keep him with a timetable that nobody knew
and that takes me into the witches death that agatha killed to keep her son alive, she knew that giving bodies to death would allow rio to turn a blind eye to her child, and it makes for great symbolism with the sentence "death follows wherever they go" because it wasn't that agatha wanted to kill people, she had to so nicholas could survive, because death *was* following her wherever she went, they fell in love and rio had to make the tough decision of leaving her so she wouldn't take away agatha's most prized possession, their kid, and once she did have to do it she still kept following agatha because now she was actually killing witches just to have power and stay alive, she was grieving and murder became her go to (not a good thing) but death kept following wherever she went
and that is possibly why rio never got over her, she was always pursuing agatha and she didn't have time to let go, so at the end when agatha makes the deal to give up billy in exchange of rio letting go of her it had both the meaning of allowing her to be immortal and to forget about agatha, she was tired of having death follow her and they both knew the only way that could happen was for rio to give up her feelings and stop wanting to be with her
another thing is the whole tarot symbolism of death, as a major arcana in most decks death means the closing of a cycle, it isn't a bad card even though people see death as a bad thing, but the whole lilia ep was about showing how her cycle was about to finish (not necessarily meaning her death btw) and through all of the road each of them had their cycles closed, alice managed to get rid of her curse, jen got her power back, lilia finally understood her timeline and organized her thoughts to save her coven, billy found more power and possibly where his twin could be, agatha got the power she wanted for a bit and rio finally put agatha on the ground
also i could talk about how lilia might still be alive but that's a different rant that will come some other time
anyway i just really loved all the death symbolism throughout the whole show and how well they portrayed everything, aubrey did an amazing job as rio and i do hope they use her again in the mcu since we've had so many deaths and there will be more and how she deals with some of the things that don't necessarily follow the natural order of things (just please don't make it comic death cause rio is a lesbian she would never fall in love with thanos)

Not to get all pretentious English major, but there's a bit in The Brothers Kazamarov called the parable of the onion. Basically, this old woman was mean and cruel, but she once let a starving peasant taken onion from her garden. When she died and went to hell, her guardian angel argued that the one good deed was enough for mercy. God agreed and it was decided that if the angel could pull her up by the onion into heaven, she would stay. All was going well until another of the damned latched on to her. The woman kicked and screamed that it was her onion and how dare they jeopardize her chance at salvation. The onion disappeared and the lady fell back into hell.
What does this have to do with Agatha? Nicholas and Billy were her onions. She could have simply settled down instead of weaponizing people's sympathy for single mother. Instead she confused walked was best for Nicky with what was best for her. She could have had a redemption arc on the road. There were hints of it in her love for Billy. Now that the con has been made real, she could have been the person he thought she was. But with both eyes open she chooses to go back to her old tricks, only relenting because her trauma button gets pressed at the last moment. She could have had Rio and Nicky forever but her fear and manipulation are stronger. Lilia is the one who faces death and dies well. Agatha is stuck in eternal purgatory by her own choice.
Evanora was wrong. Agatha wasn't born evil. She's evil because she took a good long look at what being good would require and decided it wasn't for her.

"Not in your dreams, Odair." Ash retorted, shaking his head and squinting with a semblance of a chuckle. What Rio said confused him more than anything, unsure why he decided to go there instead of answering his question. "Maybe if I wasn't already invited to your parents dinner parties." -- If he wasn't closer to Finnick and Annie than he was to Rio. -- He'd had a hand in training Rio since he was 15, or roughly around there, he was still trying to see him as a friend rather than a student. He couldn't imagine anything else.
Tumblr media
"You're not crawling under my blankets, right?" Rio snorted. "Ash, we're not that close. Take me to dinner first, then I'll think about it." The only option for Rio was to do fine. That was the basic settings he operated on. At best, he ran on comfortable numbness; at worst, it was anger and cruelty he was fueled by. Ash had caught him on one of his better days. Caspian was better than Spela and Axel combined, he wasn't that worried.

A Motherless Child:
Tumblr media
Finally, FINALLY the custody battel had ended between Aaron and Diana, having had battled it out in the family court for 7 whole years Aaron finally had majority custody, Monday to Friday and all holidays, all he had to compremise was weekends, and though he wasn't happy about it, he'd take it gracefully.
Until he actually had to give you up to her come Friday evening, Aaron would walk you to the designated deli where your Mom would pick you up around 17:00, he would buy you a snack before hand, usually something toffee like and wait with you until she showed up. Sometimes Aaron hoped she wouldn't turn up, so he could take you back home, but she was always spot on time, he would give you a goodbye hug and wave you off as Diana would whisk you off round the corner, and as you dissapeared, Aaron wasn't sure what he was supposed to do now, you were gone and since you were the focal point of his life he just didn't know what to do with himself, so he went over to his brothers place.
Being welcomed in by Rio as Miles ran up to him hugging his legs, both Jeff and Rio gave him a sympathetic look.
Miles: "Uncle Aaron Where's Y/n?" Miles, being 7 didn't fully understand what was happening, he looked around for you expecting you to be somewhere round here if Uncle Aaron was you shouldn't be far behind.
Aaron: "Ah, well Miles she's at her Mommy's place"
Miles: "Oh, well is she coming?"
Aaron: "No Miles"
Miles: "Why?"
Aaron: "Because she just isn't Miles" Even Miles at 7 can tell this is a sore subject, He lightly pushed Miles off his legs as he let go, Rio began to make tea for the family while Aaron sat down next to Jeff.
Jeff: "How did it go?"
Aaron: "Nothing much, I just left her with Diana who took her off"
Jeff: "You know this was the best possible scenario that could have happened, they never give Dad's full custody"
Rio: "Yes, this is a win, you get her week days and holidays! I was truly suprised they gave you both!" She said as she handed him a cup of tea.
Aaron: "I don't even know why she bothered with custody at all, it's obvious she dosen't care, why waste all her time and money in court if she's not even engaging with her outside the courtroom"
Jeff: " A girl needs her mother Aaron"
Aaron: "Y/n didn't even know who she was at one point, that's how little Diana talks to her own child! she thought Rio was her Mom as a toddler!"
Rio: "Lets just be happy that you got majority M'kay? Now drink your tea it's camomile!"
Aaron knew he should be grateful for majority, but he still felt cheated.
But Aaron had also noticed a shift in your behaviour, Once he picked you from the designated deli you were reluctant to speak, snappy, hated being touched and seemed to always be on the edge of tears. He tried to pry what ever was upsetting you out, but you would just go mute on him, when he tried to hug you, you tensed and pushed him away.
Come Monday once he had dragged you to school and waved you goodbye Miles tried to approach you only for you to ignore him completly, he was confused of course and since you two were in the same class he kept trying to get your attention, poking you, handing you notes that you would rip up, waving in your face to try and make you look at him, the teachers also picked up that you were disengaged with class, staring into the void and rude when forced to speak.
Miles was worried about you, and tried talking to his parents about it.
Miles: "Ma, I think Y/ns mad at me"
Rio: "What do you mean baby?"
Miles: "She won't talk to me, like at all she just ignores me"
Rio: "Oh...Well, Miles Y/n is going through allot right now, she's probably not upset at you, she's just not in a good place"
And it's not like Aaron hadn't noticed this shift, you were being sassy with him, refusing to eat your vegtables, running off while out and about, breaking your toys, and sometimes at night he could hear you crying under your bedsheets.
Aaron stood outside your door, this was the 3rd day in a row where he had been awakend by the soft sound of you crying under the sheets, he slowly opened the door to your room and sat on the bed, as soon as you felt the bed shift you wiped your face on the sheets, your Dad placed a hand on your arm from above the sheets.
Aaron: "baby, what's wrong"
Y/n: "Go away"
Aaron: "Come on now" He tired to lift the sheets from your head, only for you to shove them back over your head.
Y/n: "please go away"
Aaron: "Auntie Rio told me you aren't talking to Miles at school, did he make you upset?"
Y/n: "No, I just don't want to talk to anyone right now"
Aaron: "Whatever's making you upest, you'll feel better once you talk about it"
Y/n: "Please go away papa" And so he did, clearly he wasn't going to get answers right now.
This cycle only got worse after the upcoming 3 weeks, you became more aggressive, more tearful and less and less engaged with school, and it all came to a head on Tuesday, when Miles finally confronted you on the play ground.
Miles: "Y/n!" He yelled at you, you ignored him.
Miles: "Y/n! I know you can hear me"
Y/n: "Go away Miles I want to be alone"
Miles: "Why won't you talk to me? Did I do something wrong?"
Y/n: "Go away"
Miles: "No! Not until you tell me what's wrong!"
Y/n: "GO AWAY" and in a moment of rage, you punched him.
oh no oh no oh no you thought.
He held his face crying with his red nose.
Needless to say the whole family was livid with you, luckily since you were related the school agreed to step out of it as long as the family dealt with it, So your father Aaron drove you over to the Morales house hold humilated by your behaviour, you hadn't caused Miles any serious harm, just crushed his feelings.
Once you arrived at the Morales house hold you where sat down in a wooden chair while the family sat around in front of you boxing you in on the sofa, they were detirmend to get answers out of you, all except Miles who really didn't want to see you right now, so he stayed in his room.
Jeff: "Y/n we need to understand why you hit Miles"
Rio: "In the face, might I add"
...
Aaron: "Y/n, you are old enough to understand you cannot just hit people whenever you feel like it"
Y/n:" Ins't that what you do?"
Aaron: "Y/n, you are no position to give me lip, and when I hit people it's called boxing, what you did to Miles was uncalled for"
Y/n: "I don't care" so say meekly
Jeff: "You don't care? That is so disrespectful how could you say that?!"
Aaron: "Y/n if you don't apologise right now, I'm taking your dolls and giving them to good will"
Y/n: "no please!
Aaron: "So apologise"
Y/n: "...no"
Aaron: "I will, all your Winx dolls or whatever, all going away to goodwill"
Y/n: "okay" you whisper.
Rio could see whatever is going on is deeper than whatever your letting on, and being gruled on by the men in the family wasn't helping, so she took you outside onto the rooftop to have a seprate coverstation with you, she sat you down in the greenhouse for a girls chat.
Rio: "Y/n...I know your struggling right now, but you can never just hit someone just because your mad at them"
Y/n: "Are you mad at me?"
Rio: "Well I'm not happy with you hitting my boy, but I just want to know why?"
Y/n: "I don't know why, I just got mad and wanted him to leave me alone so...I hit him"
Rio: "He was pestering you because he worries about you Y/n, we all do, your acting out and no one knows why"
...
Rio: "Is it something about your Mama?"
Y/n: "no..."
Rio: "Then what is it? Because it's clearly upsetting you and whatever it is I'm sure we can help, come on baby"
Y/n: "Sometimes..."
Rio: "Hmmmm?"
Y/n: "I just don't like being with my Mom, and I don't like going back"
Rio: "Why don't you like being at your Mom's place?"
Y/n: "She never talks to me, she never wants to do anything, sometimes she yells when I talk to her, I don't think she likes me"
Rio: "Oh baby, I'm sure she likes you"
Y/n: "But why won't she look at me?"
Rio: "oh...oh baby I'm sorry" she says as she hold your head as you begin to softly cry into Rio's chest, of course this wasn't an excuse for punching Miles in the face, but it did explain why you had been acting out. Rio of course told Aaron about what you had told her, but know that they were all fresh out of a rough custody battle Aaron wasn't sure what he was supposed to do, go back to court and demand full custody, or accept the great deal he had on majority, what will he do?

An old fling
(Jeff Morales x Platonic!Ex!reader x Miles)
AN - TBH there are not enough fics about Jeff. I get it. He's a married man and Rio and a lovely woman but I used my imagination here.
Word Count: 1,385 words
*KNOCK*
"Miles get up! Get ready for school!"
Miles had never sat up in his bed so quickly in such a panic. Was he late? Did he oversleep? He glances at his digital clock and its 6:00 am on a Monday morning. Why was he being woken up so early? He had a whole 45 minutes of sleep left before he had to get ready for school and go to his dorm.
After forcing himself out of the comfort of his bed, he goes to open his door to see his dad already dressed in his uniform.
"Why are we up so early for?"
"Because I thought we could grab breakfast before you go to school. Besides it will be the last time I see you until Friday."
This is those 'father-son' times that he wanted to spend with Miles before he was gone for almost a week. He's been doing this since Miles was a baby. As a toddler he would take him to the park despite the weather and gets scolded at by Rio if he catches a cold.
As Miles grew up to be a teen, if became less often that they would spend time together. Teens want to be alone. Jeff simply wants to rekindle those with his son again.
Miles didn't argue and just went to get ready despite wanting to crawl back into bed. Bag suitcase was ready and they where both out in the car.
"Shall we go to Foam Party?"
"NO! Uhh...... I mean no thanks."
Miles was bound to see a few friends if they had gone there. They opted to go to a different place. A cafe further away from their area. A new place for the both of them. This place looked likes it serves both savoury and sweet items. They both ordered and waited for their breakfast.
"You look really tired this morning son. I hope you didn't stay up late drawing at your desk again."
Miles was not in fact drawing last night, he was out being Spiderman. Literally the moment he came back into his room through his window and laid his head on his pillow, his dad started calling. So he basically had no sleep. He needed that coffee.
Their order was called and Jeff walks forward to get it an he bumps into someone.
"Sorry ma'am I didn't-"
"Oh no it's my fault I wasn't-"
They both manage to get a good look at each other and silence catches them for a second. A second to process if this is really true.
"Jeff? No way."
"Y/n. Wha- umm uhh...."
She flashed her pearly whites in a quiet laugh.
"It's been a while huh?"
"Umm yeah, it has."
"And you're a cop. That's cool."
Miles comes from the other side of his dad to see who he was talking to. It was a lady. A very pretty lady. She was wearing a business looking suit with her hair in a slicked back puff. Make up was done on point with an expensive bag on her arm and glasses that fit her face shape so well. She looked sophisticated.
(Reader POV)
I notice a person standing next to Jeff. A boy in school uniform. He has a confused look on his face as he glances between me and Jeff.
"And who might you be?"
He looks at his dad like waiting for him to answer for him. Miles knows majority of his dads friends. Either from work or around the neighbourhood but he's never seen or hear about this lady from. So where do they know each other from seeing as 'its been a while'.
"This is my son, Miles."
"Oh my goodness. You have a kid. A teen too. It really has been long."
"Y'all know each other? From where?"
I look at Jeff before answering and he seem pretty hesitant, scratching the back of his neck as if to figure out what to say. It's obvious he hasn't mentioned me to him. I want to answer with a simple lie like 'we're old friends' but he beats me to answering.
"Miles this is an old friend....... and ex."
I raise my eyebrows in surprise that he actually said that but it was the truth. Jeff and I used to date but that was a whole while ago. Miles' eyes widen as he glances back and forth between us.
"That was a long time ago. Clearly. We were in college."
"Excuse me. Could you get your orders please. You're holding up the line."
"Oh sorry. Thanks"
I get my drink a food. I find a clean empty table and sit to eat. As I was walking, I could hear the father son duo whisper yelling but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I don't think I want to after that awkwardish meeting.
"Mind if we sit here?"
I look up and its the two of them with their own food. The place was busy, shocking for how early it was. I didn't want to make this any more awkward so I let them sit with me.
"Soooo how are you?" Jeff was the first to attempt to break the silence which worked.
"I'm doing good. Busy with work but going good. You?'
"Yeah I'm good too."
"So how did you two meet?" Miles but in. Damn, straight to the point.
"Miles!" Jeff tries to shush him which is a bit funny to watch.
"No it's fine, unless you don't want him to know."
He looks to the side, particularly looking at nothing so I proceed.
"We met in our first year of college at a house party."
He looked at his dad as if he was a different person. "Him? Party?"
"Oh yeahhh. I'm pretty sure he was the one who organised it with his friends. He approached me with a drink and we started talking from there."
It was a good conversation. Mainly talking about the past and the shenanigans of his father. Miles was surprised about some facts about his father. The late parties, staying out spray painting and other things.
"It sounded like you guys had lots of fun. Why ain't you fun anymore dad?"
"Because I grew up Miles. We was young and dumb. Anyway do you have any kids."
"No kids here. My life is too busy for one. Besides dating is hard as a lawyer. Guys complain that I care about my cases more than them. Which is true sometimes."
"Lawyer. That's also cool. We both working with the law."
"I'm surprised that you became a cop. Don't you have a degree in business? I remember you saying you was gonna start a business with your brother, Aaron. Oh gosh how is he?"
Both their face dropped into sadness.
"Aaron died lat year."
"Oh God. I'm so sorry. I didn't know."
"It's fine."
Time was going and I need to go to court and meet my client. Miles gets up and offers to throw that rubbish away.
"So your married and have a kid. Wow. I would have never thought back then."
Jeff looks at me with a questioning look. "Why?"
I make sure that Miles is not around to hear what I'm about to say.
"Because you, Jeff. You were such a player. Shoot you played with my heart. Hope you treating your wife right or I'll beat you up."
"I wasn't that bad right?"
"Mhmmm I'm pretty sure you broke a girl's heart almost every week. You show interest and ghost them a week later."
"I know it sounds bad but what we had was different. I really thought we could last."
"Main thing that broke us up was the stress of university and keeping each other happy. At least our break up was civil."
Miles comes back and we leave the cafe and go our separate ways. Jeff drives Miles to school. Before he could leave the car.
"Not a word about this to your mother ok?"
"Only if I can hang a couple of my art up."
"Fine."
The past is in the past now. He was happy to have that conversation with you but ultimately Jeff loves Rio. She was his everything and is happy with her and Miles. He wouldn't change anything about it.

Based on some of the comments on The Kintsugi Kid, and, I think, the surprise at the amount of denial and self-denial in it, here's a very brief and incomplete history of homosexuality in association football (soccer, we can call it soccer). I know the story is fiction but anyway, this is my rant into the void, basically.
Justin Fashanu was the first professional footballer to come out publicly and be openly gay in 1990. After coming out, he transferred clubs yearly, sometimes multiple times a year, until his suicide in 1998 amidst media allegations surrounding his sexuality. His brother continued to give interviews stating that Justin wasn't gay, but merely an attention seeker.
Unsurprisingly, the tragedy and hostility that struck his life after publicly coming out persuaded other gay footballers that coming out would not be a good idea.
Some minor league players come in the early 2000s, mostly after their retirement, some during their active career - for example Messi (not the Messi) who's the first Brazilian football player to come out in 2010. After coming out, he transferred clubs yearly, sometimes multiple times a year. What a coincidence!
Also in the early 2000s, Luis Felipe Scolari (ex-Chelsea manager) goes on record to say he would have thrown out of the team a player whom he found to be gay.
In 2005, former manager Alan Smith speaks of "the last taboo in football": "I've had players over the years who were single and read books and so others [other players] said they must be gay... I think being openly gay would be something very difficult to live with in football... You can get drunk and beat up your wife and that's quite acceptable, but if someone were to say 'I'm gay', it's considered awful. It's ridiculous."
Also in 2005, the Football Association held a summit aimed at tackling homophobia in football. In that same year, when the BBC asked all of the twenty Premiership managers their opinions on the issue as part of an investigation, all twenty refused.
Many heterosexual players are victims of homophobic abuse - both on and off the pitch, sometimes due to their "unladdish hobbies". Rio Ferdinand gets away with calling someone faggot live on air.
In 2010, Max Clifford says he would and has advised gay players to stay closeted: "It's a very sad state of affairs. But it's a fact that homophobia in football is as strong now as it was 10 years ago. If you'd asked me in 2000 whether I thought we'd have a famous, openly gay footballer by 2010 I would have said yes.
Robbie Rogers, an American football player, played for second-tier English football club Leeds united when he came out in 2013 - and announced his retirement almost in the same breath. He later returned from retirement to play for LA Galaxy, and become the first gay football player in the MLS. In 2013. He did play internationally for the United States, though was not called back for international games after his coming out. What a coincidence!
The first international player to come out as gay is Thomas Hitzlsperger who was a German national team player. He came out in 2014, one year after his retirement. During his active career, he had a long-term girlfriend.
So we're in 2014, and there's no openly gay football player in any major teams or with an international career. Most players who have come out since 2014 either came out after their retirement, or play for very very very minor leagues.
In June 2021, at the delayed UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, Germany national football team captain Manuel Neuer was investigated by UEFA for wearing a rainbow captain's armband and risked potential fines - they investigated it being a political statement.
The next major league player and first international player to come out whilst actively playing is Jakub Jankto, he came out in 2023 (yes, last year) and currently plays for a Series A team in Italy. He used to play for the Czech Republic but has not been called back for international games after coming out. What a coincidence!
In June 2022, it was revealed that homophobia made up the majority of online abuse aimed at footballers.

What headcanons would you have for Alice or Jen in Agatha All Along? :)
Alice was a mama's girl despite their difficult relationship. Her mother was much better at showing her love for Alice than Evanora was at showing hers (if there ever was any love for Agatha) but she focused so much on breaking a curse that Alice was certain was never actually real. Alice still craved her attention, always proud to show her something she made or playing her a new song that she learned.
Alice is not a morning person. She was the one who signed up for graveyard shifts as a cop. She thrived on late nights, the moon giving her more energy. She was always happy to take somebody's late night shifts for them. She sometimes had to work mornings, which made her long for the sweet release of Death.
Despite her moody, edgy style, she needs a crap ton of sugar in her coffee. She cannot drink it black like her co-workers always did. They teased her for this, but she was fine with her Cinnamon Dolce lattes, thank you very much.
That tattoo was not her mother's idea, originally. Alice saw her mother stressing out over the curse and looked up ways that she could protect herself in a more permanent way than wearing a necklace she may lose or something else like that. So she looked up the symbol and showed her mother, who didn't even hesitate to book her with a friend. Lorna held her hand the entire time, and Alice forced herself not to cry from the pain, trying to be brave for her mother.
Alice visited her mother's grave (which wasn't a real grave bc she didn't have enough of her mother to bury) on every major holiday, leaving flowers and crystals (because her mother believed in their power) and talking to her about how her life is going.
She had a cat, named Cheeto, who was the most orange cat you ever met. She loved him, though. She found him while working, when he was still a kitten. She fell in love with him immediately and brought him home with her after her shift ended. She told Jen about him before she died. Jen goes to her apartment after getting off The Road, and takes Cheeto home with her, honoring Alice in the only way she can.
Jen is almost the opposite of Alice.
She is a morning person. She likes to wake with the sun and do yoga and all that healthy shit. She has a brand to uphold, after all.
She does GRWM videos all the time, showing people what she puts in her organic smoothies (cutting out the part where she puts in protein powder that nobody can know she uses) and egg-white omelettes. She's a vegetarian onscreen only.
Again, it's her brand. Her last name is literally a vegetable (she makes cannibalism jokes when she adds kale to her smoothies).
She's always been openly bisexual and has several pieces of art that reflect that in her home. She laments about her dating life a lot online and has gotten several offers from her fans to be taken on dates. She almost always declines, but she's touched obviously by the interest.
She and Agatha had a situationship. Jen started to catch feelings, but Agatha was closed off emotionally because she was still hung up on Rio and the pain she'd caused. When Jen tried to get closer, Agatha pushed her away and was not nice about it. She figured it'd be easier if Jen hated her. Jen was definitely bitter, which is why she believed every bad thing that anybody had to say about Agatha, including that she traded away her own son for the Darkhold.
She bound herself, I think. I think Agatha was lying about having bound her in the 1920's. Not that I don't think she would have done that for money (she'd probably do it for shits and giggles tbh) but I don't think Agatha actually did it to Jen. I think Jen was so traumatized by the men who tried to bind her that she actually end up binding herself. She just convinced herself that it was them that bound her because it was the easier solution.
Jen genuinely loves hiking. It's the best way to unplug and just be herself for a little bit. She'll go to the nearest mountain and just walk for miles until she gets tired. She loves watching sunsets on these hikes. She also secretly loves camping because it reminds her of the years she had to spend living off the land as a younger witch.
She also really loves spas. She has a standing bi-weekly appointment at her local spa. She's a complicated person.
If Alice had lived, there's no doubt in my mind that she and Jen would have become a thing. Opposites attract and all that. They both have trauma, even if it's different kinds of trauma. I think they'd make a good pair.
Agatha would tease them and claim to be the reason they got together. She wouldn't exactly be wrong.
