Relativity Falls but at the end of the summer Stan learns the very important lesson of not being “selfish” and returns to New Jersey alone.

Through the years the excuses as to why Stan can’t come visit pile up. He broke his leg, caught the flu, has a summer job, broke a vase in the shop and is under house arrest etc etc.

Ford eventually gets fed up with all the excuses and stops calling home. Stan obviously doesn’t want to see him anymore now that he got other friends with his freak of a brother out of the picture.

3 years pass and the police are standing in front of the Shack.

Filbrick Pines is dead and Stan is nowhere to be found.

[or alternatively the police brought Stan to live with them now that Filbrick died, but Stan is almost unrecognizable from the boy who left three years ago. He's polite and keeps to himself, but there's a rage just beneath the surface that makes others question if there is more to Filbricks death than meets the eye.]

Just because Ford made a friend doesn't mean you’re Fidds friend as well. Go and play with your own friends.#[Stan doesn’t have friends. He’s not like Mabel but in between all the failed crushes no one realised that. He only has Ford.#No one who actually gets to know Stan wants him to be around for long.] #But the problem is he’s really good at pretending he's fine. He always had to be fine after being hurt when he protected Ford from bullies #or when his mother was sad after a fight with Filbrick. And he was certainly never allowed to show weakness in front of his father.#He learned that lesson the hard way.#Sidenote: Ford not wanting to play with Stan anymore now that he's got someone smarter to talk to :’)#It sure proves all of Stan's fears to be right.#Throughout the summer no one sees that Stan is incredibly lonely and scared of losing Ford. And it's not helping his crippling self worth #issues when Mabel tries to talk to him about how she used to be quite selfish as well. And about what Stan can do to be better.#Trust them. Mabel and Dipper have been through the same thing. They’ll help so history won’t repeat itself.#Stan returns to parents in the middle of a divorce. Caryn leaves withShermie and Stan has to stay behind with Filbrick. It doesn’t go well.#Filbrick won't let Stan have his own phone or pc. All calls are supervised and Stan cant visit Ford when he can earn his keep instead. #Stans too scared to bother Ford and reach out to him because that would be selfish. And he can’t lose his brother more than he already has.#Dipper and Mabel really messed up that one. They wanted the twins to be less codependent and not do the same mistakes they did #and didn’t realise they only helped one kid :’).This isn't meant to be character bashing or even commentary on canon Mabel.#Just a little excuse for more stangst XD I also like to think they don't have the same story as the Stans in this AU.#They're different people with different parents and different dreams.#No way it would end the same way. I was just filling out the map and these guys appeared #Totk spoilers in the tags #Okay so here's my totk story because it hurts everyone I tell including myself #First time I played totk I got really fed up with the tutorial. It would just never end.#I got so fed up with it in fact... I never did the story. At all!#My buddy wanted to watch me do the story but we kept missing each other #So I ended up avoiding anything even tangentially related to plot #I never met any characters. Never even knew there were bosses and dungeons. Never entered the castle #And one time my buddy told me there was the awesome boss in the depths I could fight-- a king dragon. Woaaahhh #I made my way over there and was so ready for this epic battle and ended up killing it in 5 seconds. I was too powerful 😂#Keep in mind I did NO DUNGEONS and had grinded up the dynamic difficulty entirely through common enemies to the point of silver lynels #So yeah I stopped playing because I realized I was way too overpowered to start the story #So I started all over again. Finally doing totk the Intended Way™#Uhh... Doing one single dungeon raised the difficulty to the point of black hoglins appearing?? What???#I'm basically rushing every dungeon (I just finished the second one) without preparing at all or doing any shrines #(I killed colgera while dying from cold damage at 4 hearts because I ran out of cold res LMFAO)#So this is really testing my Zelda skillz. It's very fun.#Also. During the first dungeon. I was so obsessed with the kid I almost looked up how I could keep him as my companion #My buddy was so excited for me to find out what the reward was for beating the dungeon 😂😂😂#What else funny... Oh yeah my old save was so jank I never actually got any more than 5 hearts.#Yes I had to defeat lynels mostly hitless since they can kill you despite the mercy quarter heart #I also went to do the first dungeon on the first save and accidentally entered the ship without the child. It TRAPS YOU INSIDE.#It doesn't even give you a warp it just says “die or warp out”. Except I didn't get the shrine halfway up. So I decided to hoverbike out 😓#Oh yeah and it turns out you can ABSOLUTELY get the master sword so so easily.#She flies right past the water dungeon and phases out of existence near immediately it's very funny.

i really liked it – the dynamic between two of the three main characterz really made me think of hv! brendon n benjamin [sorry if you're bothered to hear me talking about them] ; the brother who like had a successful home life who waz pretty naive n childish and – az mean az itz gonna sound towardz both the character nd benjamin – stupid being the golden child beloved by their mother nd the unemployed one who haz a much better head screwed on their shoulderz and iz just considerably more aware with reality being the one thatz ... for lack of a better description . "not loved nearly az much" [he literally got kicked out cuz he waz unemployed !!! thatz textbook hv! brendy !!!]

#such a freeing thing... like wow i don't owe anything to anyone.. and im just a Diogenes in the barrel but calm ver #& thought bout script some technical things doesn't matter but still i always thought ohh #If my theater's director would read id be so embarrassed bc hes like a professional director #Writes plays stages plays won some insane contests literally works as a prof #N i realised that he actually would never like say ew this is stupid bc hes actually very kind and gentle #Wow #& thought again bout his philosophy when teaching kids (bc he also teaches them not only uni students)#That the worst thing a professor teacher etc can do is to kill kid's personality #To kill what they truly like and enjoy #And i mean it easy to treat it this way when its bout students or kids anyone who's not u #God knows how long i tried to raise this feeling of freedom. Bc praise etc doesnt help for sure #Its a tet a tet w ur own personality of course. Obv. #X-Men #Wolverine #Mystique #some hail Get Mystique as a super duper must-read story but while I appreciate the look back I find it... too simple #the bank robbery (pls that's not a heist) makes zero sense no matter who betrayed whom #there isn't even a real reason why Raven needs Logan and why she would set this complicated meeting up #not within the story not truly only in a longing subtext that doesn't work with Logan's final words in the end #and something that will forever bother me is how there is this 'rrrraaawwwwrrr you betrayed the X-Men'#yet nothing about the betrayal itself is even mentioned or her reason why #yes Mystique once again stabbed the X.Men in the back - she played the Reavers - she killed Sinister - and she was ready to KILL A BABY #come on she would have killed a baby the hyperviolence in this story isn't even needed to show how ruthless she is #the baby only survived because Hope just couldn't die that way but Mystique was ready to snuff her out #and for what? to save Rogue's life - it was all a Destiny-diary-long-con (once again)#and not mentioning that takes a layer away - even though it's so good when Logan calls out how none of her kids will save her #also Logan doesn't know that Rogue came soooooo close to killing Mystique herself #I just think Wolverine and Mystique should have had more interesting encounters but I do love this intro very much #I had to look something up and was reminded of the casual mass murdering (the first kill to frame Wolverine was the best one)

So, okay, things on my dash today have got me thinking about the whole “Glee over death / wishing death on people” thing that is very popular on the Internet, and life in general it seems. I will not lie and say that I haven’t done this. I do outright imprectory (?) prayers sometimes. It’s a matter of certain politicians, people in power and wanting them out of power because they’re a clear and present danger to Democracy, my rights and the rights of people I love and innocent strangers, they are the creators of wars, so on and so forth. I hope every day that a certain person who puts chandeliers in his bathroom is found dead on the toilet beneath said tackiness from a random heart attack because I literally think he might be Hitler 2.0 if he meets with undeserved success again. However, when I think like this, I’m always “If it is the only thing that will get them out of power,” because, at the end of it all, I really would rather people SEE negative consequences for their negative actions. It’s much more fun to me to watch someone who had no love for others and actively hurt a majority see his empire crumble. I like the idea of certain people (who, in all likelihood, never will) spending the remainder of their lives powerless and behind bars. So, I really don’t want people to die, I just want them de-powered and it is much, much more fun to me to think of bad people rendered powerless in a non-lethal way. Jaiiiiil. Jaiiiiil for a thousand years! It feels like more of a punishment. I feel the same way about mass-shooters. Most of those people go in with suicide in mind as well as homicide. They want to go out in blaze of glory, taking out a lot of random people before getting shot by a cop. (This is why the proposal for an automatic death penalty for them will not stop them). I much prefer the rare occasion when these monsters are taken alive, because that way, we can put them in the can and study them. The Buffalo supermarket shooter is going to be in prison for the rest of his life - and while I doubt he’ll have remorse, he at least does not have freedom - nor the finality of death. I don’t cry for a bunch of billionaires who played stupid games and won stupid prizes. I’m pretty apathetic. We need fewer billionaires in the world, so I do not grieve them, but I also do not celebrate, because it doesn’t feel quite right to me. To me, Death is something that we will ALL face, one way or another, eventually. Unless the transhumanists actually succeed in transferring rich people’s brains into robots, they will die. You and I will die. I lost a very dear loved one this year, unexpectedly - everyone you love will die - I have been feeling this keenly. So, to me, death is not justice. It’s just a thing that happens to everyone. Every time is “before your time.” Every time is “too soon.” So, you know, it feels hollow to me to wish death on anyone. I much prefer wishing consequences on bad people. Sometime, the consequences are an “early” death, but it feels like a get out of jail free card to me.

I loved this movie about nami and her ex situationship reconciling and also anti capitalism

probably last of me ever addressing actual canon, but i cant tell if the artstyle has made everyone look the damn same but ferid's older brother looked kinda like crowley so i wonder if 440th means that crowley has been reincarnated that many times and was originally the older brother of ferid??? ferid talked about reincarnation before killing his bro- idk that is all i got and honestly the last of my effort to care.

#that's all i got really #thats the only way i can even understand what 440 means #cause it doesn't make sense for that to be michaela genes #cause that suppose to be so rare that we only know ferid crowley and mika having it #( although who the fuck knows with mika anymore )#but even then thats still a lot of people for the suppose 1000 years crowley himself has been alive #then how old is ferid????#also 1000 years doesn't make sense for crowley if he was around during the crusades so that is a history error #i did my research bitch i refuse to admit defeat #unless they are talking about the first crusade which wouldn't have made much sense with the role / events playing during the light novel #vs rl but then again thats asking too much for timeline #also how the fuck is a small kid like ferid somehow strong enough to kill both his parents and older brother with a sword that would #probably weigh as much as him????#dont make sense but when did it ever??
