The Batman fandom infantilizing a near 30 years old white man taking in a child, saying he was a brother more than a father as if he wasn't a full grown adult taking in a child he could have birthed, but parentifying a brown young adult taking in his brother pre-teen for less than a year, saying he was a father more than a brother (only a year is barely enough but ok), or saying he was more a father to his other brothers than Bruce, when he met them when he was 18 and 21 is making me uncomfortable, ngl.

Like, Bruce is a "kid" when he became Dick's guardian when he canonically was over 25 (he started being Batman at 25), and a brother to him when he raised him for 10 years (and Dick probably has not many memories from before Bruce now), but Dick is a "father" to Damian he only had as his charge for less than a year, half of which they were fighting each others??? Make it make sense???

Is this a safe space to say I liked the bnha epilogue and didn't see anything wrong with it? 🧍🏻‍♂️it was just a fun little bonus chapter I honestly don't know why people are upset about it

Anyway I love Shouto and I hope he enjoys his bowl and chopstick making classes

#i don't care about ships at all so i don't care what's canon and what's not #i'm very neutral towards izuchaco but then having a crush on each other has been a thing since the beginning #so the status quo didn't change #and some are saying that izuku rejecting bakugo's offer to join his agency is ooc #but i don't think it is at all #izuku's goal was to be a hero and he reached it #also he's literally 25 years old now why would he still want to compete with bakugo for the rest of his life #it was always bakugo whonwas obsessed with competing with him #they still get to work together as heroes which is so special #and izuku found fulfillment as a hero and teacher #i think it's beautiful #my biggest complaint about the ending of mha is how the villains were handled but that has nothing to do with this chapter #it was literally just a fun lighthearted bonus chapter of them all as adults it's mot that serious #idk maybe it's a big deal for people that care about ships but i just do not #and while i would have rathered there be no indications of any relationships #i think the way izuku and ochaco was handled was pretty chill #it just ended with them agreeing that they'd like to talk to get closer and do something for themselves for once #while i won't deny that it was def supposed to be romantic #it leaves it very open ended that if you don't like them together you can just easily headcanon that they try it out then amicably break up #after realizing that they don't work #and you can always headcanon that izuku eventually joins bakugo's agency or whatever #it was a very flexible ending and you can write whatever fanfiction you want with it #at least it didn't end with them married with kids which i would actually really dislike #bnha #my posts #bnha spoilers

genuinely why is there so much misinformation about the guardians of childhood book series?

#Lemme be a toxic fan for a moment bc im so tired and stressed and i need to yell my silly fandom frustrations out to the void #The people saying Jack is fourteen in them. No.#He can manipulate his age from 11 to 18 and is dating a 25 yr old #people still insist that the books are connected to the movie despite there being no possibility for that since 2018 #And like they totally guess what happens in the books #I saw someone try to say that dreamworks were being 'weird' and aged Jack up to ship him with tooth but in the books he was a child #three things: He's not fourteen (see above for age. He's essentially an adult and is treated as such) and is dating an adult #And he didn't make an official appearance in the books until 2018. Six years AFTER the movies release #and thirdly dreamworks aged him DOWN????#Joyce's og idea was an adult with a wife + kids ???#Like what are you talking about #never mind the people insisting that JACK IS 12???? NO??? Where did you get ur information bc wtf???#the movie started production (in 2008) before any of the books even existed (first book was published in 2011)#We have no idea how much of the books they had! The most they had were Joyce's ideas that were subject to change (and boy did they change)#the walking eggs in the movie didn't come from the book (even tho they're in there) they came from Joyce's doodling on notes!#The third book published alongside the movie tie-in books and then days later the finished film premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival #by the time the second book rolled around (2012) the movie was probably finished and was just getting distributed by paramount and #was possibly even finished in 2011! Four years of production of the movie and then the first book got released #I cannot express enough how much the books are not the source material for the movie. If anything is it's the 2005 short film Joyce made #God it's so infuriating to see people discussing the books like they're the Bible without having read it. I get so irrationally upset #And why are we talking about the books like they have any relevance to the movie after 2018? that book completely severed all ties #Like I get it if people want to connect them but you'd have to ignore the entire last book to do that (which yeah most do)#but there's so many assumptions about the books and it makes it clear who got their into from fan rumors and who actually read them #if you are basing ur understanding of a book you've never read based on fanfic maybe you just shouldn’t say anything about the book #rotg #rise of the guardians #guardians of childhood #goc

Yall ever think about how you came out and how cringe it was lol. Because every once in a while I remember that I came out to one of my best friends while driving around our town and giving an 40 minute explanation on the Fear Street trilogy. I was so obsessed with it that it spiraled me into a sexuality crisis and ended the rant by basically saying the movies made me realize I was a lesbian. And she didn’t know what to do with herself after the insane info dump that came out of me.

GOD god okay i have to be insane for a second but god i love hunter. i love her so much like i carry my little plushie hunter around with me everywhere i go i sleep with her i put her in my lap when i drive i leave her head poking out of my bag when i hang it up in the back of my work!! my bag which is covered in lesbian flag pins and rain world charms and pins and my work lanyard that i keep the marshmallow hunter pin on and my keys which are full of keychains of all of my interests !!! i love being unapologetically autistic and the feeling of autistic joy i get that runs through my entire body when i cup my little hunters face and give her a kiss right on the embroidered diamond on her forehead. sometimes everything sucks but at least i can go in the back of my work and hug my hunter plushie and not give a fuck because im an adult who cant be bothered to mask for peoples comfort anymore. im autistic and have adhd and i dont have to apologize for that!!!!!!!
