Winter: I'll get straight to the point. We've recently seized a notable stock of vintage videotapes, all of which had their covers torn off. And these tapes can only be played on a niche and ancient model, something Atlas does not have in their possession.

Winter: I would like to borrow yours to see what's on those tapes.

Jaune: Uh... So, let me see if I got this right; you need a niche video player for tapes that have their covers torn off? Do you think they might be some of... those kinds of video tapes?

Winter: ...What kind?

Jaune: Well... Y-Y'know? (Rings one hand, Prods with other hand)

Winter: (Imitates motion) ...I'm afraid I still don't understand. I've come to you with nothing but the truth, yet you sit there as though there's something wrong with my request. Like you know something I don't. Are you not permitted to disclose information, like you've signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement?

Jaune: ...F-Forget it! We'll just watch the tapes! But... Please try to have an open mind.

Almost half a second after the show REALLY began...

Winter: (Blushing) WH-WH-WH-WH-WH- WHAT WAS THAT?! (Takes deep breath) R-Regardless, I think I understand the gist of this tape.

Jaune: Are... Are we going to check the other ones?

Winter: ...Y-Yes.

What ever came from her home, she was sure it would benefit the good of someone somewhere. The kingdom would not be lost in vain, even if its name was forgotten in the history of the living - only remembered by the mere few who had ever heard it uttered.

It wanted her amulet. She rose her wrist, looking over it before her fingers moved to undo the clasp. Mortal objects would mean nothing once she was gone, at least maybe something could remain.

"Then I hope I will continue to shine for you once I am gone, to remind you that even in the most chaotic and darkness moments, you are cherished and loved." Gently she took its arm, carefully placing the amulet upon it's wrist.

Those sweet memories she had shared with it, those moments she would never wish away or want to replace. Aryun nodded as she reached out, her fingers touching its cheek as she allowed it permission to see what she wanted to share.

"My favorite dreams as the moments I got to spend with you, watching you come into your powers once more and experiencing life."

It tapped a finger at the wall. The stone rough and cold under its touch. Perhaps something good would come of this in the abstract, perhaps some of the destruction would be grown into a flower. Or it would all be used to make a weapon to destroy another planet.

It looked to her fingers lightly gripping the amulet.

"I want the amulet. I remember all of you. Most of you so dim like brown dwarfs but you? You and the ones like you? You all shine as bright as a galaxy."

It frowned fingers trailing over the skin and back to it's side. Her skin was warm, it could remember how it had felt as a child. Embraced in her arms as the soldiers had come.

"Show me your favorite dreams Aryun."

OK, PEOPLES, I'VE BEEN CHATTING AND HAVE FUIGRED OUT MORE OF THE ROLE-SWAP AU ROLES!

Chad will have Alex's role in the role-swap au and be able to do magic tricks with his light powers.

Bennett will have Aruna's role, being taken by Caffeine and Melatonin and saved by Memiri. He is adopted by Chad. (He isn't a clone in this au)

Auryn will have Bennett's role, being a clone created by Venus. (although it's likely they're a clone of Venus herself.)

And Aruna, well, she's interesting as she'll have Aryun's role, originally being Bennett's favorite doll, but she's accidentally brought to life by Noir, when Noir is trying to get to know Bennett.

Traditional throat singing is a practice of extraordinary vocal technique, in which a single performer simultaneously produces separate vocal lines that can be clearly distinguished by the audience. Aryuna Sayanovna Nimaeva has made herself well-known as a performing throat singer and as a multi-instrumentalist and is a recipient of our Cultures of Resistance Award! She was born in the Republic of Buryatia, Russia and has pursued her solo career in addition to teaching her craft at children's art schools.

Anyone else love Aryun-Goa?

Anyone else love Aryun-Goa? I've seen a load of posts of the mongolian rock band "The Hu" who are absolutely awesome in their own right. However as a new-ish lover of... revivalist? Cultural music I see very few people talk about Aryun-Goa, a Buryatian artist who gives me a similar vibe. I believe she's comparatively a much smaller artist, however I think she deserves some love too! She thought when Aryun said a day of hanging out and having some fun maybe htey would go to lunch and a movie. His version of fun is going into the ruins and looking for fossils with a doctor to help him when rocks fall on him. Doctor Sunny is another person from my pokemon tabletop. Not a gym leader just someone who tags along with one.

Parajika finally shows controversial baby

We had to wait a while, but Parajika finally stepped out to show her baby - and the former King of Windenburg’s baby that is! As we all remember the little baby is basically the reason why we now already have Queen Alexandra. Shared with the picture was more information: the newest child of the former King is a healthy baby boy called Aryun, and will be raised privately, to protect him from all the scrutiny surrounding his parents.

Some die hard royal fans find the picture ill-timed, with yesterday’s announcement of the Queen’s pregnancy. Next to that, people also realized that this little boy will already be an uncle soon! Yikes!

“I can’t do that.” There’s pain in voice, loud and clear. Before he can stop himself, he’s drawing down the cowl, reaching out to lay a soft hand on the others cheek. “I still see good in you.” If I see you as unredeemable, it makes loving you so much worse. [ @legaxies ]

The sight of the man beneath the masked myth was never really welcome. The closest thing to unease he could feel after everything he'd seen and done.

Bruce was human, mortal, fragile. He didn't understand-- wasn't aware of-- the stardust sparking warmly beneath pale skin. Shards of undying light were embedded into slowly-aging muscle.

His pupils glinted yellow as he leaned into the touch, an eerie hint at the sun within the shell. Yes, this was how it should be. Batman caring, fawning, tangled up in Joker's fingers.

Batman was undying, as eternal as the criminal. A human who decided to battle an entire city. Who had trained enough to best a wounded god. It was impressive. Eye catching, worthy of admiration.

The idea of a replacement taking on the myth was acceptable. The reminder of the inevitability was certainly not. The next would be different. Not the one tied to his celestial severance.

Bruce was certainly not unattractive. Held the same qualities he sought out in Aryun, Karla, Jeannie, Harley.

Heart, determination. Malleability. Something to make these lives memorable within his eternity.

There was, as Bruce had put it in such a human way, 'good' in Joker. The potential for empathy, or what Bruce thought of as a conscious. To care about something outside his own amusement. The decision to do anything but.

Maybe if they'd met a century or two earlier. Even five years earlier, Batman might have tempered his destructive cycle. Might have been granted the privilege of then-Jack giving any weight to Batman's pleas to stop.

Joker grinned, tried to stifle it before throwing his head back and laughing in Bruce's face. Fingers wrapped around the wrist, rested it on his shoulder instead.

"Quite a simplistic way of viewing it, dear. I thought you understood how I worked after all these years!" As much as any human could. "There's no good or bad between us. Only my own boredom."

Hiya! Do you know of any alternate spellings of Erin? I love how its pronounced, but Erin is too feminine and Aaron is too masculine. Thank you!!

Hi, I can’t find any “official” names that fit what you’re looking for but there is of course always the option of playing around with the spelling yourself. Eron, Eryn or Aaren can work in my opinion.

When I was in primary school I had a boy in my class called Erin. I was very surprised to find that it’s usually considered a feminine name KKKKKKK
