There are simply no words that can show my appreciation and love for my goddess on earth aka Mom. The hardest working, humble and compassionate human being I've ever known. She came from a small village in #Tanzania as a herder at the age of 5yrs. Her maternal father disowned her and she never knew him. Her mother had to send her away to be raised by missionaries after the step father wanted to kill her for being too "light-skinned". She came to this country not knowing a word of English. Worked 2 sometimes 3 jobs to keep us afloat. These are just a minuscule snap shots of her trials and tribulations. If you are lucky enough to have a goddess in your life, don't take them for granted... Happy Mother's Day!
