Right, but didn’t it turn out that the only reason Artemis did that was because of how Opal had been manipulating him too? Holly and he seeming on better terms by the end of the book, but his guilt then leading into The Atlantis Complex, which almost entirely focused on their relationship, that “moment of passion” as Orion and Foaly called it? Leading to those final moments in The Last Guardian. Haven’t read The Fowl Twins, but apparently there’s some sort of subtext about this about a character called nani? And a short story somewhat addressing it? And the author saying if he does another main book, it’d be the focus?

Agreed, their relationship does heal and I have read the fowl twins and (no spoilers) but Holly is a very big but background-y part of their home system (it’ll make sense I promise)

I just love early series Artemis and Holly foes-to-frenemies dynamic. Even though they hate each other's guts, you can feel that Artemis respects and looks up to Holly ; and that Holly empathises and genuinely wants to understand Artemis. I'm relatively pleased with Artemis' suit ; I absolutely despise drawing suits with every fiber of my being. ... Which is a little bit of an issue when you want to draw Artemis Fowl, as you can imagine.

Don't look at the background though. It's trash 🫠

This is the piece I made for Eoin Colfer last week. I had only a short time to finish it, but I like how it turned out: I like the texture of ballpoint pen.

Thank you all for your suggestions of what to draw! I ultimately went with @karlyanalora's suggestion of a book scene I enjoy, as well as many of you suggesting I draw Holly.
