STAR WARS PREQUELS BALLET AU

Anakin does ballet, and Aayla is the prima, they end up as leads most of the time.

Obi-Wan is a teacher, obviously, but still dresses like a close to a philosophy professor as possible.

Padme is primarily ballroom, both competitive and teaching, but she's at the same studio as the rest of them. It's a shared space they trade off in schedules, so she runs into Anakin sometimes and they hit it off.

Ahsoka does swing. She and Rex are on a competition circuit, but they also take hip-hop and breaking classes with Aayla, who recently went from senior student under Quinlan to an actual teacher herself.

Mostly though, I'm imagining Anakin and Aayla at barre, gossiping as they stretch and wait for their classmates. Ridiculous Dancer Warm-Up Fashion included.

Alas, it's very much an AU that's suited to art rather than fic.

Obi-Wan teaching a youth class with 11yo Reva and 13yo Kanan and Cal...

(Also I keep imagining 37yo Obi-Wan having a cane here. Lots of injuries a dancer could have, I'm thinking ACL.)

Help me decide what to write!

I'm ready to start writing again after the big bang and the holidays. I want to return to some of the wips I already have but... I have a few too many to choose from. So! I did this once last year but for each vote in the poll, I'll write for 10 minutes on the corresponding fic. More details about each wip below the poll

great teachers learn from their students: A holocron turns Obi-Wan and Anakin into their padawan-aged selves in the middle of a mission with Ahsoka and their troops. Snippet here

Suddenly a Sith- A holocron brings out the dark side in Obi-Wan but this version of Obi-Wan seems more interested in Anakin than in ruling the galaxy.

let your heart be light- Jedhi Night is the biggest holiday of Coruscant Temple's calendar. Jedi from all over the galaxy return home each year for singing and stories, celebrating the light on the darkest night of the year. Now that the war is over, this Jedhi Night promises to be the brightest in ages. But then why doesn't Anakin feel like celebrating?

my moon, my stars and my ocean- omegaverse RotS, Anakin and Obi-Wan spend one night together, giving in to temptation, a mistake. But then Anakin is pregnant and fighting a war with the knowledge that his Master, his alpha, does not want him.

Obidience- Ella Enchanted AU. Ever since Obi-Wan was a child, he has always done what he has been told. Obi-Wan and Anakin go on a journey to try to break Obi-Wan's curse and fall in love along the way. On tumblr here and here

the cure for everything is salt water- Aquamarine AU I have a snippet of this that I've been meaning to post to tumblr. It's partially inspired by Aquamarine and by a piece of merman Obi-Wan art by orientalld but basically... Luke and Leia have one month left before their dad's job forces them to move from their home in Florida to the other side of the world. A hurricane washes merman Obi-Wan Kenobi ashore into their pool who is desperate to explore human life on land. He wants to be the first merfolk to find peace with humans and within seconds of meeting the twins' father, he falls in love with one at first sight. And you know what they say... if you help a mermaid, you get a free wish.

the grass is always greener- the war is over. The galaxy is at peace. Anakin has a home with his wife and children. He has everything he ever wanted... right? So why does Anakin's treacherous heart feel like something is missing? Why, even now, does he still want more? The Force gives him a vision of what life could be like if he followed that hunger in his heart, placing him in the body of Darth Vader circa OWK show. He learns that power isn't what his heart was seeking but perhaps a purpose will make him whole again instead. Found on tumblr here and here

I believe my last line was somewhere around the puppy paw in this sketch for the rural jobs prompt

And this snippet is for the Teacher/University/Academia prompt in an AU where Obi-Wan and Cody are engineering students working on their capstone project together

Ben's gaze narrows from across the table, his eyes as blue as the hottest part of a flame, and just as dangerous. Cody keeps eye contact with him, unfazed, knowing this impromptu staring contest is akin to putting his hand on an hot stove. He’s dauntless in the face of it. Burning his fingers is a small price to pay to get under Kenobi's skin.

Sundari Twilight, Chapter 1: Necessary Bonding

This fic was inspired by this art by inzuss. It’s a Barrissoka fix-it au that takes place during Season 5 of The Clone Wars (this chapter takes place after episode 9, “A Necessary Bond”). Read it on Ao3 or below the cut

The shuttle descended from Coruscanti orbit. “It’s a bit tight for the nine of us,” Ahsoka thought, ”but it wasn’t a long trip.” Obi-Wan had graciously allowed her to fly the younglings back to the temple and skip out on the strategy conference she’d been dreading attending. On account of the frankly messed-up adventure they’d had coming back from Ilum. She wasn’t planning on lording that over Anakin, who hated conferences in much the same way she did, but maybe a younger her would have. One that hadn’t seen two years of constant war, fought off multiple diseases, died and been resurrected by literal Force gods, been hunted for sport and forced into slavery, or just had to protect six younglings from horrors she was barely a match for. At least she now had some free time to decompress and work thru her emotions. She had managed to only sob when the cockpit door was locked and Artoo her only companion. Anakin was probably finishing up making his travel plans and could only offer a few kind words and a short hug. But Barriss…Barriss…she would be there. She had said the trials had given her a lot to think about and she wasn’t deploying immediately. Ahsoka was just grateful to have someone who knew her available to talk. “All right kids, we’re approaching the Temple. Buckle up”

The younglings dashed out into the hangar ahead of Ahsoka, eager to return to their quarters. While many youngling clans kept in touch as they grew older (Ahsoka enjoyed catching up with her clan-mates over meals at the temple), she had a feeling these six would remain close friends for a long time. Bonds forged during crisis always seemed to last longer. That was something the Jedi were rapidly learning during the war, and while tradition dictated to let go of those bonds, she and Anakin had found the trust they had gained with the 501st to be much more useful than orthodoxy. Speaking of, he was standing there in the temple hangar, arms crossed, with the goofy grin he always wore when he was right. “Told you it wasn’t gonna be boring.” While the council tried stressing the Gathering was important or involved more responsibility, Anakin had just said that it wouldn’t be boring. “I’m glad you’re back safe,” he continued, as he gave her a small hug. This was not the same Anakin as the one who was full of stress and frustration when Ahsoka vanished on Felucia months prior. “All thanks to your training, Master.” “No, Ahsoka, you’re learning faster than I’m teaching you. Walk with me and Artoo?”

Master and Apprentice and Astromech walked the halls of the Jedi Temple together. Between the Onderon rebellion and the Gathering gone wrong, Tano had spent a lot of time away from Skywalker. They discussed their changing relationship, how they were becoming closer to partners than student and teacher. “The same thing happened to me and Obi-Wan after Geonosis. Those last few months of my apprenticeship, he trusted me like a brother.” Ahsoka could here the slight bitterness in his voice from Obi-Wan’s betrayal. But he continued, “I foresee those days coming for us too.” So that’s what changed. Maybe Anakin had spent time reflecting on loss. Or maybe he was saying something that he wasn’t sure about and trying to believe it. 

“But Master, weren’t you his padawan for a decade? You’ve only taught me for two years.” “Snips, you’re not an ordinary student, and I’m not an ordinary teacher. I’ve learned just as much from you as you have from me. Not to mention Rex, Obi-Wan, Padmé, and all your other teachers.” They really were an odd pair, but Ahsoka wouldn’t want it any other way. “Alright, Artoo and I have a secret briefing here. Take care of yourself.” “I will, Master.”

Ahsoka stood at the door to Barriss’s dormitory. While there were some rumors circulating about the two of them being more than friends, visiting fellow Jedi at their rooms was viewed with less suspicion than being greeted by them at an entrance or hangar. And Ahsoka wanted to keep it that way. Not that she felt any shame, but she didn’t want any reprisal from the council. Plo and Obi-Wan would understand, surely, but the rest? She refused to keep thinking like this, and so rang the Barriss’s buzzer. A cheerful voice replied, “enter!”

And there she was. Beautiful pale green skin, soft gentle curves, piercing blue eyes, a finely embroidered hood, kneeling at a small altar. Ahsoka took a seat next to her and reached out: first with her hand, then with the Force. As their fingers intertwined and their spirits touched, Ahsoka let the raging torrent of the Force carry her into the quiet pool Barriss was meditating in. It felt like a spring day on Naboo, the water a touch too cold for Ahsoka’s liking, and a bit of chop from a strong breeze, but it slowly warmed and stilled in her presence. While they had began this practice years ago as group meditation between friends, it had become something much more intimate. A sharing of feelings that transcended the honesty between most other Jedi. Being able to ground themselves in each other had become a fundamental part of their relationship. And so the two Jedi sat there, basking in the presence of each other and the Force. Ahsoka couldn’t help but smile when Barriss said, “Welcome back, my love.”

Barriss knew that her love could feel her intentions without words, but she also knew that physical words and touch meant more. While Ahsoka’s spirituality had sharply increased after Mortis, she was still firmly rooted in the material, the tangible. Which is why Barriss wasn’t surprised when Ahsoka planted a soft kiss on her exposed cheek, accompanied with an “I’ve missed you so much.” Oh who was she kidding, she loved hearing it too. She took off her hood, exposing the rest of her head to Ahsoka’s touch. Her hair was a privilege she offered to a rare few. Ahsoka took the invitation and wove her fingers into it as they continued kissing each other.

The two Jedi had moved onto Barriss’s bed for more comfortable cuddles. Ahsoka was too tired for proper sex, but they had plenty of time for that later. She had settled for Barriss gently caressing her lekkus while she played with Barriss’s hair, which felt almost as good. “So how did the trials go?”

Barriss grimaced. The trials had been a mixed bag, but in a way that wasn’t obvious to most Jedi. “They were…fine.” She could tell Ahsoka knew what she meant. “With each trial, I grew more sure of myself and less sure of the Order. Everything we’re doing here feels less like doing the will of the Force and more like what’s politically convenient.” Despite knowing her lover would understand, she still felt the need to defend herself. “At one point, I had to mediate a mock dispute, and the correct, just answer wasn’t popular with either side. But isn’t fighting in the war completely at odds with that?”

None of this surprised Ahsoka. Multiple Jedi had made it known they were uncomfortable with being generals and commanders in the GAR, including Barriss. “I don’t disagree. There a lot of people we aren’t helping because they aren’t choosing sides or are actively fighting the Republic. And we should be helping them.”

This, however, did surprise Barriss. Ahsoka was always on the front lines, fighting side-by-side with the clones. Some had even started calling her and Anakin the “Heroes with No Fear”, a beacon of hope for the Republic. “How can you say that and still be fighting in the war?”

A question more people should be asking. “I’ve seen what armies do if left unsupervised. What warlords do when given control.” Ahsoka had to think a moment, trying to explain the certainty she felt about her own calling. “The Separatist Army is led by those who care nothing about sentient life. And if I don’t lead, who will? Tarkin is just as bad as Grievous, in many ways.” She smiled at her girlfriend, “just because it’s where I’m needed doesn’t mean it’s where you are needed.” As much as she wanted to always be side-by-side with Barriss, she knew their callings were different. There would always some distance between them. 

“I just wish there was a way to get the council and everyone else to understand that this whole war is wrong.” Barriss wanted, no, needed people to understand her.  “Well, I wouldn’t try bombing anything. I’m pretty sure that attack on Coruscant a year back is why we’re still in this war.”  “What do you mean?” “The bombing happened during the peace vote in the Senate. After it had already passed in the Separatist Parliament.”

The pieces started falling into place for Barriss. A Separatist attack on Coruscant after they had voted for peace, coincidentally during the Republic vote on it? It was obvious. “Someone is manipulating this war. I need to find out who it is.” Her eyes pleaded with Ahsoka, “can you help me slice into the HoloNet?”

Ahsoka smiled, “Of course, love.”

Out of the two of them, Barriss was the better slicer. Her master had always valued intellectual skills, and programming was simply another language that she managed to pick up during her travels. She had mostly asked for Ahsoka’s help in any hardware-related issues, as she was probably the best mechanic in the Order after Anakin. Sometimes slicing required a hardware interface, and Barriss believed in being prepared. As Ahsoka’s head rested in her lap, she began slicing into the secure channels of the HoloNet. Most of them were private senatorial channels, but a few were carrying military information. Barriss tried unlocking them with various password spoofers, but none budged. Writing specific slicing programs for each channel would take a long time, so she prioritized the ones that weren’t routed thru the Temple. She whispered to her girlfriend, “Hey sweetheart, after your nap, can you warm up your soldering station? We need to build a vicepick.”

Half-asleep, Ahsoka mumbled, “sure thing love.” She drifted off to sleep dreaming of circuits and snuggles.

Barriss kissed her partner’s montral and returned to slicing. Her signature 3-part decryptor would do nicely, and writing variations on them was second nature at this point, constantly tinkering in search of perfection. Topping it off, the decoy profile she included was a forged senate page, and the tag style she used would read as first-year academy student. To anyone other than the most experienced slicers, it would look like a senator amateurishly trying to read classified information. That is, if they even looked in the first place.

Anidala high school AU thoughts

(I’m probably not going to write this but I am planning closer cosplays based on it)

- Padme is in student government and on track to be valedictorian

- She’s technically a Junior but she’s 15, she skipped a couple grades really young

-Anakin is a freshman but also 15, he started late

-Anakin’s sport is Judo (yes that is offered at some high schools, sometimes there’s even a letterman jacket)

Judo is a martial art that focuses a lot on using your opponent’s momentum and weight against them. Or, y’know, their mass and acceleration.

-Obi-Wan is the coach. He’s basically fresh out of college and all the upperclassmen girls (and some of the others) are madly in love with him. He hasn’t noticed

- if Palpatine is there then he’s probably the principal and also that teacher. You know the one. The one who pays too much attention to certain students and who everyone knows to stay away from but is somehow never fired. That one.

- Yoda is the guidance counselor. (Whether or not he’s good at that is up for debate, but he’ll be working there until he’s dead)

- Mace Windu is vice principal (or principal, if we get rid of creep!patine)

Star Wars DND AU

Sidious is the DM, he is a forever DM and has never been a player. He is a teacher who started a D&D club there first year at a high school which spirlled widely out of hand. Spends more time planning DnD then actual lessons. (Forever DM)

Yoda is another teacher who can do really funny voices and helps Sidious with actual lesson plans. (Only played Yoda)

Dooku is a university student who is Co-Oping Sidious, he is also fencing champion. After his Co-Op ended, he would show up from time to time. (Also played Wolf Yularen, Cassian Andor, Hera, and Paz Vizal)

Qui-Gon was brought in by Dooku. Qui-Gon would bring up random kids who were having a bad day to play with them. ( Also Played, Zeb, Hunter and Din)

Obi-Wan was brought in by Qui-Gon after he found Obi crying in a stair well. Obi-Wan can be a bit of rules lawyer but chills if you just tell him you are rule of cooling it. (Also played Tech, Kannan Jarrus and Eli Vanto)

Anakin was found hiding in a bush by Qui-Gon, the kids enjoys making random machines and Min-Maxing his characters. He is Sidious's favorite since Anakin helps him design comat encounters. (Also played Wrecker and Sabine)

Thrawn is one of Dooku's friends who stopped by to stay hi and was dragged into DND. Thrawn is a art history major. (Also played Mon Mothma, Maul, and Commander Cody)

Ezra is Thrawn's little brother who came with Thrawn one day. ADHD little man who is very nice. Is one of the few people who can get Thrawn to smile and laugh regularly.(played Ezra Bridger, and Savage Opress)

Luke Skywalker was a kid who Padme(Anakin’ girlfriend) tutored. Anakin pretty much adopted Luke and his sister Leia. Luke is a good boy who normally hide a behind Leia.(played Luke Skywalker, Cal Ketsis and Fives)

Leia Skywalker is Lukes older twin who is a terror. She is very smart and gets along great with Palps. (played Leia Organa, Rex, and Ahsoka)

All the characters have backstories and trauma and help each other through it. They are a very messy hodgepodge group but they are think as thieves and will always be their for each other.

So I was bullshitting with my friends and BOOM au idea! I thought I’d share it with y’all! :D

Ok so this is a Star Wars modern au at an high school. Anakin is Ben (obi-wan’s) student teacher and the both of them also help coach the fencing club. The “clones” are a family of pretty identical jocks. Most play (American) football. They are aged down to late teens ish. Ahsoka is a prodigy student who’s placed in Ben and Anakin’s homeroom and ELA class.

There are quite a few major changes. Example: Ventress is aged down to be a rival student at the “dark side school” (I have yet to pick a name) additionally the original 3 Star Wars movies exist as movies in this au. Unfortunately this caused me to change some names like Skywalker that appeared in canon. The last names are changed to their actors last names. While some prequel only characters can get away with it.[the exception: one side of the “clone family” have the last name Fett.] OH and Padme is on school board, palpatine is mayor. Yay politics-

- Caleb and Cal are neighbors, they've been besties since kindergarten (I refuse to separate these two, they are now a pair)

- while I would love to include all clones, last time I tried that I fried my modern AU, so here's a more edited list with my faves

- Jango had Boba and Omega

- Rex and Cody are brothers, they're boba and omega's cousins

- the bad batch(quintuplets) + domino twins are brothers and are boba and omega's first cousin once removed (so Jango's aunt/uncle's kids)

- pretty much everyone in the fett family joins the military to some degree

-Bd-1 is Cal's small dog, C3P0 is a golden retriever (or possibly a service dog for Ani due to childhood trauma) and R2 is a cat (maybe a tuxedo), Chewwie is one of those big super fluffy dogs, Chopper is a ginger cat, and Jar Jar is Padme's overly excitable yippy dog (couldn't decide on a breed)

- Hera and Kanan eventually adopt a wolf dog they name Dume, Chopper hates sharing attention

- Kanan adopts Ezra

- Sabine is related to Bo-Katan and Satine (somehow, I know she's the same clan so extended family!)

- After meeting clan Wren (I am writing this as I watch Rebels) I have decided Ursa was Satine and Bo-Katan's adpoted first cousin once removed

- Hera is totally Airforce, like I feel like that's the closest to her role in rebels, her and Kanan met in highschool

- their song, which later became their first dance at their wedding, is "Ain't no mountain high enough"

- Zeb is another friend of theirs from highschool, he was a year or two younger

- Zeb is a security guard, Ezra is an animal conservationist (see him and Loth wolves), his parents had a radio show where they talked about endangered species

- Kanan is a firefighter (because irony) and Cal is an elementary school teacher who is in charge of his school's fencing club

- in this au Kanan's injury comes from a job, once he's blinded he joins Ezra in his work

- Cere is a highschool music teacher, Merin is a history teacher who also has an elective cultures course, and Greez is a freelance pilot who's business is definitely totally 100% legal(/s aka he takes some shady jobs)

- Cere and Greez are neighbors, Merin works at the same school as Cere, and she meets Cal through her

- Din obviously adopts Grogu at some point, and Luke volunteers at the temple's Sunday school which is where he meets them(???)

- I feel like Luke would own a martial arts school, Leia becomes a politician like her mum, Anakin would be a robotics engineer

- Satine is prime Minister of Mandalore, Bo- Katan is either military or lawyer (she strikes me as the lawyer type), Sabine was going to join the military but ended up pursuing an artistic career, Korki wants to go into politics like his aunt

- Mandalore works like the u.s where it's a bunch of small countries a trench coat, except they're more functional... mostly

- Obi wan is either a social worker (helping other kids like Anakin) or some kind of diplomat, he only became a diplomat cause he took a few classes to spend more time with a cute international student *cough* Satine *cough* and found he was good at diplomacy

- Plo Koon and Ahsoka are body guards/ security, Plo has his own company, Ahsoka started as being in charge of marketing (I consulted my mom for Ahsoka's job and she suggested marketing because she's so bubbly)

11. Is there any scene you can't wait for people to react to when reading? Why?

Oh, always! The only thing coming, like, immediately to mind right now though is actually from the next chapter of Foelu. It's less like a whole scene and more a piece of dialogue, but I think it's one of the funniest things Cody says in the whole thing, and it's a bit I'm planning on doing some art for as well. Let's just say that Cody has very little patience for reporters :)

15. Do you have any unwritten scene that you think about a lot?

There's a few different reunions that take place for Ari over the course of Traveling Song, but there's one more in particular that I haven't written yet that I think about all the time and just wanna cry and squeeze the nearest plushie.

16. Is there any written scene that you think about a lot?

I do think about Cody and Obi-Wan's introduction in the teacher AU quite a bit, as well as the next time they see each other afterward 😏😏😏

21. Is there any unwritten fic that you don't know if you ever will write?

There are so many. My WIP graveyard is vast and distinguished. There are a few that I think I'll just be working on forever, and there are a few AUs that I probably won't actually get to or just like to think about. I never want to super commit to not writing something, though, because I am a slave to the muse and she is a fickle mistress.

Good day everyone!

I’d like to reveal some more information about the character Nyx mentioned in my story about count Dooku (which is partially different from my original headcanons) since I’m preparing some content about these two, but it won’t make any sense without proper explanation. This woman is my OC for Star Wars AU – she is Dooku’s padawan, later his wife and a queen of Serenno. Here I will talk only about the part of her life which is connected with original trilogy and the prequels, but I should assure you there is a second part which, however, will be told only if it’s needed.

Main events of the original SW story are kept as they are, though there are some important changes: the accents are made on the story of Serenno, Nyx and Dooku’s past, Obi-Wan doesn’t die in Episode IV, Anakin survives as well and his body is regenerated, after the end of the Empire Far-Far-Away Galaxy is ruled by a senate almost equal to the one described in prequels – and Luke is the leader of the senate, meanwhile his friends are in charge over the planets aka Naboo (Leia and Han), Tatooine (Anakin Skywalker), Coruscant (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Bespin (Lando Calrissian). It’s difficult to tell everything about Nyx in one post since her story is big and complicated, but there are some main points:

In the very beginning of the story, Nyx, or Amanda Cooper (which is her real name), was a normal girl living in the same universe with Sara Branton. She had always had force abilities, but they didn’t really have any practical use in her original world (she managed to master telekinesis and telepathy by herself, though).  Her parents participated in the war as well as Sara, but never returned home. When the girl got news about their death, her dark hair immediately turned grey and stayed like that for the rest of her life. Nyx was bullied by her classmates because of the strange appearance and quiet, shy character. Due to the trauma and desocialization, she started smoking and drinking alcohol, hang out with people of questionable reputation, turned mean and aggressive. Her parents were Sara’s close friends; she tried to help Nyx, but Amanda was too mad at her: she thought it wasn’t fair that Sara returned home, and her mom and dad did not (unfortunately, sometimes hurt people tend to blame others for what they can’t control).

My AU includes a theory, that almost each movie, videogame and book actually describes a parallel universe existing aside from ours. The only people who can “sense” alternative universes are the people of art. And, when someone creates anything, a portal to the particular universe openes for a short time. Nyx lived in the 1970-80-s. And she was one of those who witnessed Episode IV release (though, she has never seen the movie). So, she accidentally went from her world to Star Wars’ world when they got connected. At that moment she was 17 yers old.

Despite the fact it was Episode IV which was created first, she ended up in pre-Clone Wars times (timelines in different universes don’t synchronize). There she found herself in count Dooku’s domain. He sensed great potential in her, so the man decided to train her to make the girl a valuable tool for himself. However, since she didn’t know practically anything about that universe (and the count knew she wasn't lying when Nyx told him that), Dooku was bound to teach Nyx not only participating in combat, but reading, writing and more. They grew attached to one another, and as the time went by, their attitude to each other turned into something much more intimate than teacher-student relationships, especially since they had much in common and saw things in similar ways. They had gone though a lot together; there was even an incident when during a fight with some Jedies Nyx ran into by accident one of them blinded her – and Dooku refused to kill Nyx, though she thought he would do exactly that as a Sith. Instead, he taught her how to fight without her eyes and, when he got an opportunity, paid for the implants which would return the girl an ability to see. After the surgery, Nyx could fight in any situation and sometimes preferred doing it with her eyes closed because it was more efficient. This feature had given her a nick name “The Blind Warrior”.

Dooku was murdered when Nyx was 25. After his death, fate of Serenno happened to be lying on her shoulders. She took his place as a queen, but lived outside the planet since her presence there would put her and her plans at risk she couldn’t afford. Nyx convinced her people to fake their loyalty to Palpatine (who she hated as well as Anakin Skywalker), but, in reality, they would create an army under her command and destroy occupants in the future. To accomplish that, Nyx flew over the Galaxy, searching for Jedies who survived Order 66 – and tried to hire them as teachers. Also she and her agents provided Serennians with reliable information about everything that was happening in the Empire.

Twenty years had passed. While travelling, Nyx met her old rival she had never actually seen – Obi-Wan Kenobi – and Anakin’s son Luke on Tatooine (Episode IV). They worked together since then, so Nyx participated in many events of original trilogy and even made the story go differently (she saved Kenobi from Darth Vader and helped Anakin Skywalker, though it wasn’t for his sake, but for his son’s because she subconsciously treated Luke as her own child).

After that, Nyx returned home and announced her reign officially. Also she met with Dooku’s force ghost for the first time after he died. The thing was, the man was suffering on the other side without her and blaming himself for leaving her alone; he didn’t want to submit to his fate, so other spirits chained him up and held captive until his old padawan Qui-Gon helped him run away.

Dooku was determined to stay with Nyx; all that long years without one another only made their feelings stronger, and simple sympathy turned into love. Therefore, they started ruling Serenno as husband and wife.

Additional facts about Nyx and AU's lore:

Nyx is neither Jedi nor Sith. Dooku gave her a chance to choose any of the schools, but Nyx found both of them too narrow-minded. So, she just calls herself a separatist.

Nyx is a nickname Amanda came up with when she was a child after reading some Greek mythology. It referres to Nyx, the Goddes of the Night. When Amanda met Dooku, she didn't want to tell him who she really was, so she used the nickname - and didn't use her real name ever again.

As a duelist, Nyx practices Form II - Makashi.

Nyx has had heterochromia since her birth. Despite being bullied because of this in the childhood, when she was asked about the color of her eye implants, Nyx chose to keep this feature for she saw it as a part of her individuality.

Nyx’s lightsaber color is pink. It represents wisdom and balance between Light and Dark sides of the Force as well as purple color.

With her eyes closed, Nyx sees people and items as they will look like some seconds after the present moment. It gives her an advantage in battles; however, it also requires a lot of energy to stay like this for long. That puts Nyx in danger since, in such cases, she has to use her negative emotions (another words, she gives in to the Dark Side of the Force). That’s why she uses this ability only in critical situations.

Other Nyx’s Force abilities: force choke, force lightning, healing/reviving powers (in my AU they have side effects for a force user aka running out of their own life energy or even their death), future gazing, telekinesis, telepathy.

Nyx violently blames herself for her master’s death. Nyx saw a prophetic dream at the night before he left and tried to warn Dooku about Anakin, but he “didn’t listen” and went for the fight anyway (the count kept Nyx’s existence in secret from everyone, so he decided to engage in battle with Anakin because the man wanted to keep the girl safe from any danger that might occur if he didn’t answer Palpatine’s call; Dooku thought he was able to win over his less experienced opponent, furthermore, Palpatine insistet on the duel being just a test for Skywalker).

Dooku had plans about finishing the line of monarchs at his planet and creating a republic. So, as Dooku's enthusiastic follower, aside from preparing the army, Nyx secretly provided education materials for Serennian children, so they would become a generation which would be ready for such changes.

When Nyx was a padawan, she made friends with a palace gardener’s son Nicolas who was considerably younger than her. Later that boy became a capitan of her army and one of the most important people in the government. Nyx has chosen him as her heir (the ruler of the new Serennian republic). Aside from Nicolas and Dooku, Nyx is quite close with a palace butler Favian and a chef cook Penny who have been serving Serenno family for their entire lives. These two are her advisors and confidants. Also Nyx has many acquaintances among the locals; civilians of the capital know her very well.

Serenno family's crest includes a silver unicorn (reference to The Last Unicorn cartoon) surrounded by four figures: two silver swords on the left and on the right, an open book beneath and a crown above. Everything is on an azure field. Nyx often wears gloves with unicorns painted on them.

Serenno is home for many wonderful creatures which we know by fairytales: unicorns, dragons, phoenixes etc. However, there are some specific species: giant spiders, purple bears (bears with violet fur, six eyes, eight legs, and transparent blood), and leavies. The latter are half-animal and half-plant creatures looking like formless bushes of various colors. They make strange noises, move quite fast and shapeshift. Leavies are herbivore, they can be successfully tamed and taught to keep themselves in one particular form. These creatures are used by Serennians as equivalents for horses. Dooku has a cyan leavy called Blizzard and Nyx has a lavender one called Star.

Count Dooku is Serenno's national hero. When Dooku was young, he saved the planet from his evil elder brother Ramil who treated Serennians as slaves and had very low morals in general. Besides, Dooku had an elder sister Jenza who was killed by Ramil during his and Dooku's confrontation. Jenza was the only one who ever treated Dooku nicely in Serenno family, so he mourned her death more than anyone. Lady Jenza is one of Serenno's saints.
