I think a downside of being an aromatic author is that I have no idea the difference (or how to portray) between platonic/romantic so everyone's going to be a little in love with each other

The best representation in my opinion of what aromantic love feels like is Sirius and James’s relationship (ofc, for people who don’t romantically ship them and OFC I am not bashing on the ship!).

The codependency between them, the love and admiration, the protection and desire to please at every moment. The urge to be near each other at any given time, the unspoken words that feel spoken, the lack of need for communication to understand what they are going through. The clinging, everything.

Me, as an aro, love like that. And it is love!!!! I don’t care if it’s not romantic, I don’t care! I don’t want to kiss them, I don’t need to be in a romantic relationship with them to want to spend the rest of my life in their company.

I wish more people would get this. That’s why I don’t ship prongsfoot, even tho I have nothing against it, it is simply not for me.

He didn't want to betray them - they were his family, but he couldn't let Philo, his sister who pretty much raised him, die. So yes, he betrayed the only family he'd ever known, he had no choice.

Another aroace fantasy idea. And yes, I know that for us the metaphor will be super obvious.

So, we have a fantasy world with magic. The basics, really. And how this magic works is that you need to work together with another person to do it. Other than that I don't have much more in mind (like limits and stuff).

Obviously, this leads to a society when at a certain age you're tested, or you're supposed to figure it out yourself, or something else, to figure out how you cast magic. And obviously some people can't do it at all (or so it appears).

That's the basic setup and then there are a couple ways to take it.

There's the classic of a magic academy where our protagonist has to figure out how to do magic and/or hide/excuse that they don't need anyone else for it.

Another option that popped into my mind is that the "singular casters" have created a pocket dimension where they live in safety or whatever (safety from what?)

The AroAce Wizard is neither good nor evil but a true neutral. They have heard the summons for the counsel but will they attend? They have made no commitment. They prefer their own company and the company of the Dragon of the Frozen Lake. Only time will tell.

While I might not be the best at drawing dragons I had a lot of fun drawing this cozy wizard! I imagine they like to spend most of their days ice-skating and drinking some nice warm drinks. Are the snowflakes a silly enough pattern? I hope so. On that note I am truly impressed that the good vs. evil votes ended up perfectly balanced!

Guys, how do I respond to this? I told Creator Luigi that I feel like I'm faking being aroace for saying that I love them and the responded with this.

For even more context, I told them that I love them because I'm one of Creator Veevean's alters and they are in a queerplatonic relationship with Creator Luigi, Bill asked me if I wanted to talk to Luigi too and that we were all telling Luigi that we love them.
