Toga: forever quest to break the belief that romantic love is the purest love starts NOW. she feels like every type of attraction at 500% break the counter kinda intensity but romantic love is completely just Not There. which is why she "falls in love" so quickly, and why her criteria is so based on appearance and how roughed up and bloody someone is. I think she never could unlock the quirk copy part of her quirk until Ochako because she never had the occasion to truly get to know someone, and with Ochako and Twice mostly she could actually get to know and like/love someone based on their personality and their actions as well as their appearance and such. Power of friendship or something. The rest of the league helped her with that too, she truly liked Magne and Touya like older siblings and she admired Tomura to an extent (on top of liking him for being a good boss). Mr Compress is that kind of adult figure in your life that's a bit embarrassing but that's cool to be around anyway. Like your cringe middle aged colleague who understands half of what you're saying and calls you miss. I also think her being aro adds to the part where everyone called her broken because she wasn't able to love like everyone else. The way she loves is wrong and bad and dirty and she hates that. anyway, generally i like saying ochako is aro rather than toga but god the queer allegory DEF can be an aro allegory with her and i love saying characters who r so based in love and romance are aro. it's always fun

Dabi: literally cannot seriously ship him with anyone in my mind's eye anymore he's too aro. might be aplatonic too honestly but i feel that could just be how focused he is on his goal and how little he (tries to) care about others. i'm not here to make friends or something whatever. Aromantic aplatonic dabi is a banger either way. i think he'd be like fraysexual too maybe. i think dabi fucks tho like undeniably he fucks

So I'm gonna make a post specifically for her but like. Aro ochako to me is expanding on the comphet izuocha headcanon not only is she doing compulsory heterosexuality she is doing compulsory alloromanticism too (if that's a thing idk. you get the point). i think shed be so used to girls loving boys and people loving someone, always, anyone, as long as they love someone, that she would latch onto whatever feelings she found for izuku and when her "crush" was somehow validated by aoyama and mina, she would completely sink into it. and then she meets toga, who loves differently, who preaches being yourself no matter what, who refuses to call herself broken or even different, and she'd be fascinated by her. even beyond the desperate need to save her and the need to get to know her and talk like normal girls, she'd see this girl who can smile so happily about the way she loves people, and she'd be jealous to death. she wouldn't even get by the "i must be in love with her" stage at all either she'd just know. in my mind's eye i imagine togachako fight where ochako tries to explain to toga that she loves differently too that she's weird and oaughhh.... sorry obsessed with this

Aro gets all smug and happy, making it a point to dramatically call you his wife very very loudly in a totally unnecessary setting. He's so happy and giddy, don't take this away from him. He's just casually chatting to someone and drops the 'w' bomb, like "Caius could you pass me that paper to I can write my WIFE a note? Thank you, i'm sure my WIFE will appreciate it too." Meanwhile Caius just does not give one singular fuck about his antics.

Marcus is practically in tears at you calling him your husband casually in passing, he's clocked out of the conversation mentally and is just imagining actually making you his wife. So many decisions, so many choices. Small wedding that is personal? Large wedding to show you off? Summer or autumn? Maybe even winter or spring? Dresses, celebrations, vows, rings, it all flashes in his mind and he's decided that he should probably start planning the proposal as soo as you're done there.

Caius is also a happy happy boy, but keeps quiet until it's just the two of you alone. It will be hours later and you're both winding down. He'll come up behind you with his arms wrapped around you to keep you close and hum gently in your ear. "Husband hm? You want a ring on that pretty little finger? Could have just asked, you little minx" and he's peppering you with kisses and affection.

Honestly it’s so tiring having to fight for ace/aro hcs in fandom. Like they’re never anyone else’s first pick unless the character is nonhuman (usually robots and aliens, because of course) or inherently un-pair-able for whatever reason. If the character falls outside that slim margin by even a little bit you have to fight tooth and nail to find any scraps of someone, anyone with a similar interpretation to you. Even if the character does have stuff in canon that supports an ace/aro read it still feels like you have to fight to prove it’s there. It’s just thoroughly disappointing.

i’ve always liked gentle, but i started to REALLY like him around last month-ish? yes i dooo believe in my heart that gentle is the red spy seen in brutal’s videos. i apologise in advance

ANYWAY but back to gentle: i like him a lot! i saw him depicted with his sleeves rolled up once (1) and i decided yeah. that’s how i’m going to draw him forever now (it was one of crispcr4p’s videos, iirc!)

some other tidbits i have for him are: his Rose motif is sort-of meant to parallel (my) Polite’s Buttercup motif! i don’t hc them as related at all, but they’re practically counterparts so it only felt right. another hc i have for him is a sort-of other catchphrase i made up for him in my head. i imagine he likes asking others “Where are your manners?” if they maybe try to attack/fight him, or if they speak rudely to him. sort of in a way to demean or mock them!

gentle is a smug and cocky prick who masks it with being a “gentleman” to me. i love this for him. i wonder where he got this from

aizawa : aroace. he doesn't careeeeee he really doesn't. probably romance and sex repulsed too which is why he turns his nose at ms. joke's advances (she doesn't know hes genuinely bothered by it I think she'd stop if she did, but aizawa is just so. always bothered. by everything). this man has kissed a girl Once and he was like No. Absolutely not. and then yamada was like but boy tho? so aizawa kissed him and he was like Still No. I also like agender aizawa so I think he's triple A. 4 As even with Aizawa.

mic : aroallo, he's romance repulsed but he's brained himself into not giving a fuck? everytime he sees romance in his brain he's just like ah they're such good friends. because if he kisses someone and says it's As Friends in his head he's perfectly fine w/ it (unlike aizawa who will Not kiss Anyone ever again). he HATES the "are you dating yet" questions and the tabloids of Is Present Mic Dating Someone 😳😳 everytime he's caught with a hookup or smth.

midnight : the aroace midnight headcanon is batshit insane hilarious (/pos). I forgot what's the opposite of repulsed but she's that lmao she's very into sex (as can clearly be seen) in the aesthetic way of it, tho she doesn't really have sex w/ anyone because she thinks trust is important (she is right. she's like the opposite of mic in that regard he doesn't give a shit lmao). for romance tho she wouldn't really date anyone and doesn't like the idea of fans being "in love" with her, she genuinely prefers people being sexually attracted to her - but she really like romance media and hearing about her friends and her students' romantic lives, it's very entertaining for her (very unfortunate that her two closest friends r deeply aromantic lmfao).
