Joahbox is personally one of my favourite Kbeauty subscription box which provide 5-6 products every month which have value more than 80 dollars mostly. ☁️ @cremorlab_kr thalasso Foam This contains the natural sea salt capsules which gently exfoliates and the rich micro foam removes the oil, makeup and dirt easily ✨ @celebeau_official sassy glam eye glitter I got the shade 04 twinkle berry which a beautiful glittery eyeshadow, i have shaded it on stories as well. I really like formulation and it does not irritate or create a crease on my dry eye lids. ❄️ @hi.hme Pompom ball These balls came in separate packaging and are like foam balls ( freeze dried acid ball) which blends easily into the serum or cream. These balls contains 660,000ppm of Hyaluronic acud and 260,000 ppm collagen. These really works and makes my skin supple and hydrating. 🌿 @aritaum_official mugwort sleeping pack I have used it once and it really helps in soothing the skin, the formulation is light weight and is gel type. The Best Way to Get #Sheetfaced - Updated products

I wrote this blog post as a guest post over at another blog over a year ago and I never posted it on mine. It was left as a draft and I decided to look over it again, and I realized that some of my opinions have changed about some of the products I’ve recommended in the past. Not saying they are bad products, but since I have tried a lot more skincare over the last year or so I think I have become a sort of skincare snob, hahaha! Also, I want to let you know the products that I enjoy using now. Well anyway, read on for my sheet masking tips!

Today I’m going to tell you the best way to get #sheetfaced Kbeauty style! This is a weekly/daily ritual for Kbeauty lovers all over the world. The act of getting ‘sheet faced’ is simple. You place an essence soaked sheet mask on your face and then resume whatever you’re doing while your skin soaks up the skin softening and brightening tonic. That’s the gist of it, but for the Kbeauty enthusiast like myself there are a few extra steps to get the most out of a luxury or a dollar sheet mask. Here are some of my tips and tricks to achieve Kbeauty worthy skin!

Step 1: Scrub-a-dub-dub

Like any skincare routine, cleansing is the first step. In my opinion it’s the most important and tedious of all the steps. Putting a sheet mask on unclean skin is a HUGE NO-NO. Even if you’re not wearing makeup, washing your face is always a must. Dirt and oil have no place in achieving glowy-dewy skin. A good clean will ensure that your skin will absorb the essence and nothing else. A gentle scrub is a great way to prep the skin so that new skin cells can marinate under the sheet mask. I love using the Mamonde Lotus Micro Mask to Foam cleanser (13,000KRW). I don’t use it every day, but on the days when I do a mask I use this first. It works as a mud pack and it washes off to a foamy scrub, so my skin feels extra clean. I would suggest removing makeup on the eyes and lips separately with a makeup remover. My HG Aritaum Ppo-yan Lip & Eye Makeup remover and Cleansing Oil (11,000KRW for 250mL and the cleansing oil is 13,000KRW).

Step 2: Pregame

After cleansing it’s important to balance the skin back to its natural pH, but more importantly toners can give your skin the first shot of what it needs to look and feel fresher after cleansing. Just like pregaming ensures a fun night out with your friends, pregaming your skin with a toner before getting sheet faced will provide the best sheet mask experience! I have used the Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Clarifying Toner (26,000KRW) to remove any leftover cleanser that I might have missed and help my skin breathe better. I also recommend Son and Park Beauty Water. Then, you need to prep your skin and not let the moisture leave the skin. I LOVE the  Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner (12,900) (affiliate link) or the Hanyul Red Rice Essential Skin Softner (35,000KRW). I also love Sulhwasoo’s First Care Activating Serum (120,000KRW) that I can’t afford right now sob. Now it’s game time!

I forgot to post this! So I bought the @dear_klairs Supple Preparation Toner and Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drops from @chicor_shinsegae and the it came with free cotton pads, two mask sheets, and LOADS of samples! . I have been using it for the past 2 and a half weeks and I LOVE the toner and I feel like the vitamin drops have definitely helped brighten my skin! I combine the drops with my @iope_official Live Lift Serum and its really nice! . Step 3: Get #SHEETFACED

This is the fun part. After completing steps 1 and 2 you can reward your skin with a sheet mask of your choosing. There are hundreds of masks you can choose from to suit your skin’s needs. Here are some things to look for in a good sheet mask. First, the mask sheet itself has to be good quality. This means that it adheres well to the skin and is absorbent enough to hold the essence in the sheet and not drip off. Second, there has to be a lot of essence. Usually in the directions it says to apply the mask for 20 to 30 minutes. I usually have it on for a little longer and when the mask feels a little dried out, I can use the extra essence in the packet to re-hydrate it. Also, you can use the extra essence before you apply the mask and after taking off the mask. Gently pat it on your face, neck, and décolletage. However do not go over an hour or sleep with it on. It can actually pull moisture out of the skin if you do.

There's 33ml of Jelly essence in one mask packet! I love jelly formulas because they don't drip. These ones aren't sticky either. Very similar to aloe gel consistency and finish. Also, the scent is light. . 🍺The beer one is revitalizing – white willow bark, snow lotus extract, rooibos extract, etc. ☕️The coffee one is brightening – resveratol, lotus extract, green tea extract, etc. 💨The smoke one is relaxing – lemon balm extract, sunflower extract, manuka honey, etc. 🍨The ice cream one is for pore care – camomile extract, Japanese pine extract, etc. . These are worth a try if you haven't tried any Jelly Masks before. Finding a good sheet mask can be trial and error process, but I’d say that 98% of the time it is a very pleasurable experience. There are various types of sheet mask types such as cellulose, hydrogel, and cotton. Try out different ones to see what texture you like best. One tip for the summer is to put your sheet masks in the fridge to get an extra cooling effect. After taking off the sheet mask apply a moisturizer or cream of your choice to lock in the moisture and essence from the sheet mask. Getting sheet faced is as easy as that! You can do it as little or as often as you like and you will always end up with envy-worthy skin.

Sheet Mask review time! Time to review this Lemon facemask from @aritaum_official. . What it is: A sleeping mask that provides fresh and radiant complexion with 2000mg lemon extract. . Review: ▪ Real-Time: Once the packaging it opened, you'll easily smell the lemon scent. The essence is clear, watery and very drippy. Since the benefits for this face mask is brightening, I was very excited to use this since I have dark spot which needs its brightening effect. I research this face mask only and it is said that it is best used overnight for the skin to absorb the essence at its finest. The face mask itself has a very large fit which is actually a little hard to place unto the face, it is best to lay down when using this mask for it to stay to the best position on the face. ▪ After Effect: Okay I let this stay overnight during my sleep, just tried its instructions and hey it did not break me out (which some mask does when I leave them overnight). The time I woke up, I went straight to the mirror and girl I can say that this mask truly is brightening. With just one masking time I can see results of brightness and also my dark spot has brightened (well only a little but you can see a difference). I also noticed that some of the small bumps on my forehead has diminished. As for nourishing or moisturizing, this left my skin soft to touch but not really moisturized, it really did what it says it says, to brighten the face.
