i was clearing out my camera roll today, and stumbled upon the little drawing you gave to me before about an edelweiss flower. it reminded me that although life sucks sometimes, im surrounded by a lot of love and i shouldn’t take it for granted. it was so lovely to come across it again and be reminded of that. so i wanted to say thank uuuu. you’ve been here for a while throughout my tumblr journey and it really does mean a lot to me — i love knowing there is someone who is as down bad for oiks as me hehe.

Ari 🥺🥺🥺 my heart feels so full right now because it's been a long time and you still have my little drawing. You know what? I realized I've been here in this app for almost 2 years (or was it already two? almost 3??) and you've been one of the first people I interacted and made friends with. We don't always talk 24/7, but just like I've been with you on your journey, you were also with me on my journey here in this app and I can't stress how much you made an impact on me especially when we were all stuck during the peak of the pandemic. The part where we're both Oikawa truthers are just a bonus ☺️

To know that you're doing well already makes me happy. I'm also doing well and I'm lucky that I'm surrounded by people who love me. canon is my sandbox and i can do whatever i want forever, which means: Veil Jumper June and Lord of Fortune Addie! NPC headcanons be upon ye:

June's not Inky but she is still vaguely working for the Inquisition. Her research makes her cross paths with Veil Jumpers sooner or later, and after collaborating for a while decides to (loosely) join up with them

She goes by Jay among the Jumpers because yknow, introducing herself as "June" among a group that's mostly Dalish is awkward. It's a play on the letter "j" and also her "Bluejay" nickname

She'll pop up around Arlathan forest and she'll have dialogue with Bellara and Harding. If you wanna get ambient dialogue about what some of the old Inquisition members are up to, she's your guy

When you visit the Halls of Valor, there's a chance that Adriel greets you instead of Isabela. Everyone here seems to accept her authority without question

She'll occasionally drop hints about what Hawke(s) and co are up to; this may or may not include Lilian (funny coincidence that auntie 'Bela's girlfriend has the same last name as her dad!)

What are Liam and Fenris doing? That's, um.. private. Maybe you can coax it out of her if you hang around often enough! or maybe Neve can piece it together

Bonus Kala cameo: Somewhere in the Deep Roads you can come across a clearing littered with darkspawn corpses, and in the middle, the corpses of two Wardens and a mabari. There's a "worn mabari collar" memento here with "Barksparn" on the name plate

If you pay attention towards the beginning of the area, there's a mark scratched into a wall that you can't decipher except if you're a Warden. Otherwise, if Davrin is in the party, he'll tell you what it means: [date]. three. not returning.

hi hello tonight i’m thinking about reformed!geto again …….. he is mostly brooding and silent. bitter, obviously, a little snarky but he’s still compliant; doesn’t cause too much trouble, keeps the name-calling to a minimum. still won’t look you in the eye and still can’t train with the students without playing far too rough, but you think he’s making progress.

with the way he follows at your heel, it’s hard not to think of him as some kind of guard dog — one you’ve been tasked to keep at bay. he doesn’t stray too far from your side, even on the rare occasion he’s allowed to be without your surveillance. if he hates being bound to you, he’s awfully good at hiding it.

but dogs will be dogs. the moment a non-sorcerer tries to touch you, the moment they get close with unwanted advances or misguided hatred — he bites. you don’t have time to stop it, and for what feels like an eternity you’re convinced he killed them. but geto clicks his tongue, and lands a kick against their skull, and you recognize the twitch of a living thing. a gift to you; an act of tremendous restraint in your name, if only out of respect for the way you begged the higher ups to take him back. it doesn’t change the scent of iron, the freezing look in his eyes, the snap of his muzzled jaw. but a part of you is happy, to feel the pulse of an almost faded heartbeat. proud.
