It mimicked how light disappears as you go deeper in the ocean but the sunken code this webbedsite runs on never set a cap for how dark it gets, so eventually you would have to copy ad paste the text on the reblubs onto somewhere to read them.

The Until Dawn cast and Mario Kart Wii... I pondered very long and very hard about this question... and return bearing real and true answers (headcanons and rambles ⬇️)

Beth: Insane MKWii goddess. Grew up on the game and played constantly. Put lots of time into learning a handful of ultra shortcuts and sometimes pisses everybody off by using these just for fun. The group can count on one hand the amount of times she hasn't gotten 1st. Can efficiently use any controller, but prefers the Wii classic controller. Put crazy time trials on every single track that remain unbeaten to this day. Not that Josh would ever beat them even if he could. She'll always be remembered through the ghosts she left. Josh has thought about booting the game up just to drive around with her again but... hasn't

Hannah: Prefers coin runners to racing. Peach main as soon as Beth became a Daisy main (matchies) chose the prettiest vehicle and is sticking with it <3 didn't play nearly as much as her siblings but did spend many hours watching both Beth and Josh grind glitches/time trials and stars. Wii wheel user!

Josh: Really good at this game. He can get fiercely competitive too, depending on who else is playing. Otherwise he's chill. Played almost as much as Beth did- and spent hours and hours trying to get stars on every cup to unlock Dry Bowser. He refused any help from Beth and celebrated for a week when he finally did it. Prefers how Jr feels to play and breaks him out when he's feeling particularly competitive but otherwise sticks to Dry Bowser because he's not letting that effort go to waste. Changes controller based on who he's racing, to "make it easier for you". Prefers the GameCube controller

Sam: Rarely ever places below 4th. She also grew up on this game through the Washingtons and has lots of fond memories spending sleepovers with it and the siblings. She's very humble, and doesn't usually say anything when getting 1st. She grins though (Josh loves that grin). Always down for battle mode! Plays with the Wii remote + nunchuck

Chris: Winning the custody battle over Rosalina with Emily. Usually when Em is also playing he doesn't get first dibs. So he goes Waluigi and mimics him every time he has a voice line. Funny at first but now it drives everyone (except Josh who joins in) insane. More and more often Em lets him have Rosalina just to spare herself from the constant Waluigi impressions. He's either really good or really bad depending on the tracks and typical MKWii luck. Goes for super fast vehicles with like no other good stats and either flies through courses and has super easy victories or has the worst time and comes dead last. Uses the GameCube controller

Ashley: Bad luck magnet. Hit by every shell. Trips on every banana. Once she used a bullet while over a gap and it just carried her into the abyss instead of saving her. She hasn't let this go and it happened 2 years ago. Vibes with Toadette and chooses her in any game she's an option. Also prefers coin runners and is usually content to just watch the others play. Another Wii wheel user!

Emily: Losing the custody battle over Rosalina with Chris. Goes with Birdo as an alternative. Is arguably even better when playing her. She was immediately amazing the first time she played. Gets really really competitive and Beth and Josh love the challenge and the intensity that comes with Emily's gloating and high confidence. Doesn't play the game outside of when at the Washington's but knows a good few shortcuts and tricks because she spent hours looking into it when she got home to ensure victory in the future. Plays with the Wii classic controller

Matt: Likes balloon battle and always pushes for team racing. Pretty average player. His character/kart combo is so light that he often gets bumped onto the off-road and pits, but he refuses to change. That's just a little guy right there in his little car! Something Matt appreciates. Really really insane on Rainbow Road for some reason. While being a Wii wheel user! Beth and Josh don't get how that's possible and hype him up every time

Mike: (Unknowingly at first) uses the best character/kart combo. Still gets 6th or lower 74% of the time. Always really cocky for some reason. Uses the plain Wii remote without the wheel (where is your whimsy, Michael?)

Jess: She got 1st once and brings this up any time anyone makes fun of her for hitting every possible obstacle. Still usually does better than Mike and is super vocal while playing, commenting on everything that happens. Wii remote + nunchuck

I have some odd concerns that may not have any good answers, but I thought this was the best place to ask.

I have a Minecraft AU world. Specifically a Minecraft: Story Mode AU world. There are many variations from the original game, but the important one concerning me the most right now is that I'm trying to add in some disability representation.

I've done a lot of research into things like missing limbs, burn scars, etc, (often using this blog for help) but I'm struggling to think of a way for a wheelchair user to exist in this world.

Everything is made of blocks, so can wheels or anything like them even exist? Would wheels even be useful in a world where everything is made of blocks? Moving redstone contraptions might be a possible solution, but they'd be huge and clunky.

I'm considering having at least one character who actually rides on an animal to get around instead. Something like a llama, a pig, or maybe even a Minecraft-exclusive entity like a strider. Using an animal would come with its own issues, like the animal not listening to the owner, or the animal not being allowed into certain places...

I'm just not sure if this is an appropriate direction to go in.

I do still have research to do, but I figured asking some real people first might help.

So, in Minecraft, if a certain thing is a circle or oval (such as the music discs, or if you place four pieces of train track right next to each other so they curve into a circle, etc,) it's a circle made of tiny blocks. You can also see this in the wheels on the minecarts, they're circles made of a bunch of little blocks. If you make a wheel out of tiny blocks, you can make a functioning wheel. This functioning wheel could also help with the terrain, as those tiny ninety-degree angles might be able to get a grip on the edges of the terrain blocks in ways purely circular wheels couldn't be.

The gravity in Minecraft isn't particularly devastating, so you might be able to say that a combination of the weaker gravity and the geometry interaction could let someone wheel their chair over uneven terrain. You could make anti-tip measures that would allow the wheelchair to pull a wheelie (tilting so that the front wheels are in the air,) hook the edges between the tiny blocks of the wheel onto the edge of the block of the terrain with the anti-tip measures helping keep them from falling backwards, and then they can either use the incredible strength Minecraft Steve has to push the wheels forward while shifting their weight forward to get up the uneven terrain, or you can create a motor for the wheelchair that's strong enough to get the wheels over that edge safely using the same incredible power that lets the redstone rails send a mine cart speeding off at the speed of light. It's not very far-fetched to create a new Minecraft device that uses redstone as an energy source, turning redstone into a battery.

You can also create "ramp" blocks, kind of a halfway between a slab and stairs, and the character can place those to help with uneven terrain. Or they can place rails up uneven terrain, making a diagonal rail track, that can be used in the same way. The Minecraft gravity and Minecraft Steve's superhuman strength would allow a wheelchair to go up a forty-five-degree slope (wheelchairs definitely can't do that in real life.) Or you could make the ramps longer, creating a block that's two blocks long with a slope of twenty-two-point-five degrees, or a ramp that's three blocks long and has a slope of fifteen degrees, and so on.

Or they could use an animal like a llama to get around the uneven terrain, keeping the wheelchair in a saddlebag or in their inventory (or it can be folded up and just strapped to the saddle somewhere if you want it to be more realistic,) and then they can dismount, set up the chair (or have someone set up the chair before they dismount,) and get in the chair to get around that way. Use the llama in some situations, and the wheelchair in others. And yes, using an animal can definitely come with issues. With pigs and striders, they don't listen to your commands, you dangle a piece of food on a stick to lure them where you want. That's a very unreliable method where a lot can go wrong. Llamas aren't very fast and can be a bit of a pain to tame and ride, plus they have a habit of breaking their leads if you tie them to a fence and they can get into fights with other mobs. Horses would be the best mobs to use as a mobility aid. They're fast, loyal, easy-ish to tame, can jump some obstacles, can wear armour, and you can regenerate their health if they get hurt. They could also use a different animal for different terrains because while a strider is kind of difficult, you can't use a horse or a llama in the Nether. Horses and llamas are suited for different terrains and can be switched between accordingly. There are also options like camels, mules, donkeys, skeleton horses, zombie horses, and maybe even those giant pig things from the Nether, but I don't know as much about those because I have too many Minecraft wiki pages open right now and it's slowing down my computer.

In short, both of your ideas could work, there are ways to make this work. Wheelchairs and ridden mobility mobs are both very possible in Minecraft.

Im gonna be real, the best art advise anyone can give you is to use references and to break complicated stuff down into easier shapes. for example:

this is my basic body skeleton! i always start with the circle of the head and work my way down to the feet. i have highlighted some part of the body which are actually just simple shapes.

the center line down the middle of the torso also helps me draw on collars, bra cups, ties, or any other more difficult clothing more accurate!

However i have to ask you, are you comfortable while you draw?

I remember when I first started drawing digital, i was really uncomfortable with the basic set up of my program. The white canvas and the light setting of the program was really bright and irritated my eyes. And the contrast of the pure black I used for drawing wasn't really helping. sketching and doing line art was my least favorite part of drawing because of this.

you don't have to draw on a white canvas, you can also use multiple colours for sketching if you wanted. Once I stoppend using a pure white canvas I noticed i stopped staring at a empty canvas not knowing what i wanted to draw anymore!

also sometimes when a drawing doesn't want to look right, i switch back to traditional. idk why but when my brain sometimes struggles with a specific pose or character design, it comes to me a lot more easier when I switch back onto paper. i guess the change of scenery opens up the creativity again haha.

don't be afraid to simplify stuff, you don't have to draw everything! As long as it still translates to the thing, it should be fine.

but Gradient maps! god how I love my gradient maps, it just makes the colours pop! I never draw without it anymore. I always pick the sunset gradient, put it in Linear light mode and put it on 10% (cus its really saturated on 100%)

usually i have it on while i sketch and line, and turn it off so i can properly colour and shade. i turn it back on at the end again

the clip studio assets has a lot of beautiful stuff in there created from other users. (a good amount for free too) for example I got the lace pattern of my shawl from there. and its really easy to import the downloaded stuff into the program.

now this is a drawing hack that blew my mind when I first saw it! i use it all the time and I just have to share this!

whenever you want to draw something random like sparkles, stars, bubbles, feathers, falling leaves, or anything that you want to float around your characters, position them in the form of a triangle.

its even better if you put two points of the triangle closer together and then the third further away. this makes it look random but still looking appealing to the eye, and not oddly placed.

now that thats out of the way! Fairies! The one thing i struggled with when drawing them first is their hair. I suggest looking through the fop tag to see how other people have drawn them and take inspiration from your favorites and make up your own. (do not trace tho! that should be obvious!)

when I draw hair I think of it separated in two parts, the front and the back. I usually start with the front hair pieces, then draw in the jaw, ears and rest of the head, then continue with the back section of the hair.

the only outliers of this are Timmy and Peri. when I draw Timmy (Ymmit as well) I start with his hat, before drawing his hair. Since I draw Peris hair-swirl over his hairline, i start drawing his upper back hair style first before drawing his head and then his mullet.

wings can also be tricky. the fairy wings i have given then have a more butterfly look. if you also want to base off the wings to real life animals or bugs you can use them flying as references to. Or you could even cut out the wing shape out of paper, fold it in the middle and take pictures in the angle you desire.

I hope this somehow helped, I thought about what could have helped me if I had known it sooner. even if most of these were for generic drawing.

机变英盟, The Heroes, The Heroes of The Galaxy, British Alliance, the truth is I don't have the slightest idea of what the damn name of this series is, at least in a way that can be recognized on Google without having to put Chinese symbols, except the first one, although the 机变英盟 in translator means Transformation of the British Alliance Machine.

I found this series only through a drawing by a user that talked about robots like Blue Cop, Optimus Prime, etc. putting an image of the flag of where they were created and there is the main robot that I didn't recognize and when I saw its link there was nothing and now I do this.

Very well everything starts with a yellow and orange car called Pa Dan Tong and a green tank called Car Cannon but in fact its robot mode is a dinosaur and it looks like Grimlock from Rid2015, which are being chased in a tunnel by robotic dogs and they shoot them until they transform and I must make it clear without lies that their transformations are in the style of Magical Shoujo anime, that is, literally like Sailor Moon's, and in those transformations you can see the legs like the drawings of the jetlings or I don't know if they are called that but those are the drawings of Starscream and the Seekers in their alternate mode and with little legs, anyway the important thing is that Pa Dan Tong with an electricity bomb that contains them manages to get rid of them and they continue and go to a base of the bad guys or I don't know but it is still a base in space and he tries to enter a code but they have changed it and on top of that the same dogs attack them but their leader Storm saves them and they leave taking a ship, having an explanation that there is a lack of energy from their planet. Why? I don't know, but two factions were formed, The Alliance of Light and the Alliance of Shadows, that is, literally it is the conflict of the Transformers, this is even a plagiarism, but the bad guys find them, their leader being Night Whirlwind and Storm wants to go fight but his two allies want to fight alongside him, which he accepts, but he really lied to them and makes them leave through an escape pod while he goes.

And the last thing I have left is that he meets a small robot when they fall on earth called 117 and they go for some artifacts to have unlimited energy with an object called Eternal Fire or I don't know something related to Fire, I didn't bother to see the rest because it is a copy of Transformers in the most literal sense of the story, of course there are some that also copy the concept known, but each one has its own story, Metal cardbot copies the fact that they are robotic aliens shaped like a car and that their planet exploded, but it has very good designs, it has similarities with card games and Pokémon and its characters give off charisma and it has a story that moves quickly and understandable although it still does not have dubbing for here, in The Brave Police J-Decker the robots are built by humans and this is not a space adventure but an episodic story about police drama but it is linear, or Brave Bang Bravern is more of a parody and combination of Super Robot and Real Robot, each one has big differences but they are united by having robots transforming into cars but here at At least at first glance there isn't. I don't want to go around declaring that the program is bad but I wanted people to know this, the channel where I saw it is Faithl0w but the subtitles are in English and sometimes it gets blurry.

Originally debuting on the Famicom, the Rockman Complete Works series contained enhanced 32-bit PlayStation ports of the first six Rockman/Mega Man titles (Mega Man 1 - 6) with extra bonus features including freshly arranged soundtracks, a new user interface, a hints system, and some post-game bonus content. Priced at 2,800 JPY each, the Rockman Complete Works range were eventually ported to the PlayStation 2, Game Cube and XBOX (including Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, and two Mega Man arcade games) by Atomic Planet under the title "Mega Man Anniversary Collection", released exclusively in the West. The PS2 and Game Cube versions were released simultaneously in 2004, and truth be told, it has to be said that Atomic Planet did not do a good job with the PS2, Game Cube and XBOX ports. The PS2 version only supports 480i resolution, has most of the Rockman Complete Works features stripped, and has very noticeable volume issues. Plus, the PS2 version forces you to use the DualShock 2's analog sticks for character movement. No D-Pad action.

But it's not just the PS2 build that has issues. The Game Cube version does not feature remixed music at all, owing to the limited storage capacity of Game Cube discs which top out at 1.4 gigabytes per disc, and worse, famously has the backwards controls where the B button on the Game Cube controller is for "Jump", and the giant A button on said controller is to "Fire" the blaster gun. It's a shame really, but Atomic Planet wasn't done yet. In 2005, the XBOX version of Mega Man Anniversary Collection was released. The XBOX version has the same audio issues as the PS2 build in regard to audio distortion at high volume, but it supports 480p resolution. But the XBOX version also introduces graphical glitches that are not present in the Game Cube or PS2 version. Mega Man Anniversary Collection is a backward-compatible title for the XBOX 360, but when you play it on an XBOX 360, it has even WORSE graphical glitches!

*sigh*... Rant aside, Rockman's graphics aren't exceptional, but at least they look clean and well-defined. You'll face a wide array of enemies, but most are small, and some are as simple as floating blocks. The game provides unlimited continues, so you can always pick up right where you left off. Rockman's tunes are catchy and should bring back fond memories for long-time NES/Famicom players. It may not look like much, but Rockman's well-conceived gameplay has managed to withstand the test of time. The real meat and potatoes for this PlayStation port are indeed the arranged soundtrack and the Navi mode which actually gives the game a fresh new HUD and actually eliminates sprite flicker! How about that for cool?

Oh, and I have to make mention of the fact it does support the Sony PocketStation memory card gadget thingy. Sony's rip-off of the Dreamcast's VMU actually contained some minigames that you could transfer to from select PS1 games, and this game definitely belongs there.

Greetings. It has been a while-ish since our last post, however we are now back with quite a long one. Recently- a user who requested to stay anonymous has contacted us with quite a lot of concerning information regarding the behind the scenes and goings on of the plural nest staff team. This post is going to be recapping exactly what we have been told- with very slight formatting alterations for smoother reading.

Please keep in mind that while this post is incredibly long, our longest yet, I believe- it is imperative that you read through the entire thing thoroughly. Especially if you are either a current plural nest member, or are considering joining their server.

“ I think a fun place to start would be mentioning that the current owner, QR, never actually applied for staff and as far as I know, never actually passed through whatever vetting processes were in place at the time?

The previous owner, Bari, started acting... Really erratic in their last few months before handing off ownership, due to a lot of emotional stress around the owner *before them,* Polychrome, trying to beg to be let back into the community after being outed as an anti-endo, and trying to blame their bad behavior on a prolonged schizophrenic episode?

QR was a regular user at the time (and pretty new too, I think) and was mini-modding some sort of dispute in #ask-the-staff. Bari saw this, and instead of telling QR off for mini-moding, they... decided they were really impressed by QR's performance as a mini-mod that they just offered QR a position as a real mod on the spot, in front of the public. I'm not sure how QR rose to owner from there, but... Now you know!

I don't know a whole lot about the actual story behind Bari and Polychrome myself, but partner sys did just find the link to Poly's "apology" for their time as an anti-endo and the post where they blamed it on a mental health episode, if that's something that interests you. ”

“ Someone else we have a *lot* of criticisms of that I know is still current staff is aqua system. aqua system is also still currently staff in nest, and they were really regularly touted in the year or so after we stopped posting in the server as holding a pretty consistent "second-in-command" position in the staff. To my knowledge they're still in that position, and tbh their presence has been always been a lot of why I keep deciding Nest still isn't a home I can return to whenever I check to see if it's improved at all over the years.

I do not know if their views on things have improved in the three years since (I certainly *hope* they have, but... We don't actively go out seeking their posts anymore, for obvious reasons!) but I know shortly after they were elected to staff back in 2021, they used to post a *lot* of... Our friend group used to call it "sysmed light" takes. The one that stands out to me the most in my memory is that they believed that traumagenics were marginalized in the plural community by non-traumagenic voices, and they were constantly advocating for people to basically view traumagenics and non-traumagenics as two separate species that just happened to share the same community, rather than encouraging people to come together over our commonalities. I've also got a really CHOICE screenshot of them talking about how "yeah, medicalizing plurality is bad, but plurality is inseparable from DID/OSDD" which is a WILD FUCKING STATEMENT TO MAKE AS A HIGH RANKING MOD OF WHAT WAS THE LARGEST PLURAL DISCORD COMMUNITY AT THE TIME. They also *really, really* liked to talk about how they saw their plurality as a solely negative force in their life and something they feel ruined their future, which is. Also a cool view to have as someone so high-ranking in a community built upon solidarity and pride.

Aqua also really, *really* liked traumadumping in non-vent channels. We have a *really strong* memory of our partner system, during their time as a Nest mod, making an @everyone announcement reminding people that vents go in the vent channel, and literally an hour later aqua sys was posting REALLY HEAVY stuff about their exotrauma unprovoked in plural-discussion-1. This is kind of notable, because in a weird way staff accomodating for aqua's need to traumadump in public spaces is a large reason why #traumagenic-discussion exists? My partner system made me privy to a staff discussion where Aqua was. Bitching and moaning that there was a #parogenic-discussion channel, but not a #traumagenic-discussion one, and eventually they whined about it enough that the rest of the staff made it happen!

This is so WILDLY misguided because #parogenic-discussion wasn't created to be a Cool Treehouse for non-traumagenic systems (who... aren't all inherently parogenic, mind you,) it was created specifically to be a place to discuss the *process* of parogenesis, the difficulty and the psychological alchemy of creating a new headmate out of nothing. Pointing at that and going "but why can't traumagenics have one" is SUCH a wild false equivalence, because... If you want a space to talk about the process of traumagenesis, the actual ways in which traumagenic headmates are created, that's cool and valid, but... 90% of it is just going to be people talking about their trauma in a non-vent channel.

Guess what aqua immediately started using it for.

I know my partner sys pretty directly challenged staff on this once upon a time using exactly this argument, and got entirely shut down on the sole argument of "endogenics get their own channel, traumagenics should to." which. again. is not *exactly* how that story happened. ”

“ Which I guess leads me to my next fun story, which is my partner sys getting ganged up on and harassed by the entire rest of staff for... Knowing the history of why the server's staff was structured the way it was, and insisting that minors probably shouldn't be handling potentially volatile bad actors who could post gore and nsfw at them. Lemon and aqua were MAJOR violators in this story, and to my understanding they're *both* currently still nest staff *and* pretty highly ranked.

A long, long time ago, the interview you used to go through to get verified in the server wasn't run by a bot, but it was conducted by a real, live server member acting as a volunteer. It *was* really labor intensive, but it was also a really cool and refreshing experience, since you *immediately* got to have a fun conversation with a community member and have someone express interest in you as a person the moment you walked through the door.

These volunteers all had the "Helper" role, denoting that they were acting in an official capacity for Plural Nest, but were not Moderation Staff (who just had the "staff" role.) Since Helpers weren't expected to perform moderator duties other than passing off any problematic interviews to a *real* moderator, it was a position that was open to users of all ages, whereas staff was explicitly reserved for adults. At some point during the latter end of Bari's time as owner, after they started acting really erratically, there was a major turnover in staff, and all the new staff members were told that helpers were. A lesser tier of moderator, who were more focused on moderating chat and verifications in order to free up the Real Moderators for more pressing issues. Helpers, accordingly, *were* given the same permissions and as regular mods in the server's settings.

My partner system, who had been in nest for two years now and had talked to the old staff that created that system... Pretty clearly knew that was wrong, and were vocal about as much. They made a large argument that, with Nest being as high-profile of a server as it was, they get a *lot* of bad actors who sometimes post gore and nsfw, and make really violent threats towards staff when they don't get their way, and it was *wildly inappropriate* for minors to not only be willingly exposed to that, but *expected to moderate it.* This was not a hypothetical situation they were arguing, this was very much based on experiences *they* had to deal with during their time as staff, *as well as other staff* talking about how harrowing and traumatizing some of the things they were expected to moderate were to them, and then going "By the way my 14th birthday is coming up.”

Everyone was expressing at first that this was sensible and actually agreed that it was something they needed to work on. Aqua system made some wildly out of pocket comment that a lot of their headmates' exomemories as being literal child soldiers made them unable to see what was wrong with the situation, but they also eventually used the same excuse to decide that they were probably going to trigger themselves if they participated in the discussion further and respectfully bowed out. Everything was cool!

Up until about a week-ish later, when my partner system woke up to 6 pings and 500 unread messages in the staff channel basically calling for their head on a fucking pike.

Lemon collective (who, mind, was 13 at the time, just *Barely* above discord TOS age) and one other minor staff member (can't remember which, sorry) had made a post where they essentially went "Hey, we've been rolling this over in our head for the past few days, and we realized we don't actually agree with this ruling and feel like we are being infantilized, and that they didn't understand what changed to suddenly remove these responsibilities from their plate when they were just as capable of performing them before.” Mind... Lemon was one of the examples our partner system brought up when they were talking about other staff members openly commenting about how some of the things they were seeing was damaging to their mental health, so... that's cool.

Bari immediately threw our partner system under the bus, claiming that it was our psys' idea and all complaints should be aimed at them! Bari also made some WILDLY out of pocket comment claiming that our psys was using abuser tactics to get everyone to agree with them, and implying that psys' angle was "if you don't agree with me you're all inherently immoral and problematic”

and thus the mobbing began

Psys wakes up and sees this whole mess aimed entirely at them, and asked for a moment to backread the whole damn thing before saying anything. After taking it all in, they did eventually try arguing their point in good faith and continuing to stand by it, and tried to be empathetic with "I understand your frustration, I remember being 13 on the internet too and feeling like the stupid age gates were stupid age gates, but... I don't think it's appropriate for y'all to be interacting with bad actors posting death and rape threats” To which lemon retorted with something along the lines of "okay cool, still ageist," and. unironically hitting our partner system with a /neg tonetag.

A lot of other users were backing lemon in this fight out of nowhere as well, and going "Yeah, 13 year olds like you who are actively expressing this shit is harming them SHOULD still be allowed to interact with it! Yeah, psys IS being really rude and unprofessional and manipulative about it!” at which point psys' fronter at the time went "alright. the rest of the sys is probably going to be upset at me for this, but this is such a lost cause and they'll get it." and slapped that big fat "server leave" button. ”

“ Alright, one more story and I think I'm done for now. I don't want to go too in depth about this because A) I haven't. actually talked to the ex-mod affected by this, and B) I just kind of only know the general story beats anyway, but.

Back in 2021, there was a moderator and longtime community member, Abyssal Void, who got outed as being in a predatory adult-minor relationship. One of the other moderators had receipts *from the victim* that this was going on, and it's. Pretty hard to argue with a screenshot that says "don't tell anyone until you're an adult.” Reasonably, receipt-holding mod banned Abyssal on the goddamn spot.

The *entire* rest of staff jumps on receipt-holding mod for this, arguing that receipts mod shouldn't have acted without a discussion or a vote. Receipts mod very explicitly said at one point, "do y'all really want to have a multi-week discussion about an adult and a minor fucking before we do something about this" and *at least three mods said yes, unironically.*

receipts mod was also *denied the opportunity to share the receipts they gathered,* and bari even told receipts mod "hey, you should take a break. For a year. Because you're clearly not fit for mod duty right now” at which point receipts mod said "uh, no actually, i quit" and left server.

If I recall correctly this incident is actually what lead to nest getting *kicked off of plural hubs* back when that space was big and relevant to our community, because it was *so clear* this was a wild mishandling of a very active and dangerous situation. ”

All in all- as you can see, plural nest is a place to be avoided. The constant misconduct and mishandling of situations from staff- all that which has been mentioned in our other posts- and ESPECIALLY the final situation mentioned within this very post, regarding the groomer situation. Which I hope you are all aware- is very much potential lawsuit material, and definitely not some petty internet drama.

Hi, I was wondering what the description of the blog is. The color is very hard for me to read. Incredibly sorry! (Not sarcasm. I just feel bad complaining-ish. Not the sorry! I'm not sure if it's a complaint or not, and I am very sorry. Also, can non public workers send in stuff about customers? My family has a history of public service, and I have heard some real doozys (yes I apologize a lot. I was raised with self awareness that I can come off as complaining when I don't mean too)

The description is a place for retail workers to safely vent their frustrations about customer/co worker/management they deal with on a daily basis.

What do you mean the color of the blog? I don't have the setting on to force the background color of the blog to override user settings. I use both PC and my iPhone (both mobile app and Safari) and on PC Tumblr has several color options to choose from by pressing [SHIFT] P and I am currently using the one with purple and green text on a black background. On mobile the app uses the color of the phone (light mode / dark mode).

And we allow people come and vent from more than just retail, like an office or government work.

okay, nightmare storytime:

I'm sitting my friends cats in his apartment this weekend (he's on a funeral) and he gave me access to his his pc. up until now I've been repurposing my work macbook for my own entertainment or brought my own pc (just my ssd) so I have seen some of his computer stuff but bc he is mostly playing some games on fullscreen I haven't been able to look at it in all its glory

Up. until. now.

First thing I've noticed is Windows 11 light mode with base wallpaper. I've sat in his room and it hurt my eyes.

I created my own user account and switched to it immediately.

I've tried to change the theme to dark and noticed the "Activate Windows" watermark. He has his PC for months now, and never actually bothered to activate it. He has a Windows license, but the watermark "doesn't bother him". Wuh?????

I was about to look for regedit keys to activate dark mode without activating windows and he uses OperaGX. Real Gamer right there.

I plugged in my external drive and started to use Floorp (Firefox with extra customization options) instead.

Also he uses WinRAR instead of 7zip.

I'm just here right now and trying to figure out what changes I can make to my user account without affecting his because if I keep it like that I am going insane. I've also thought about going back home and bring my own PC but then the cats would be alone and I don't want them to take the blame for that.
