“I don’t want to put a romantic aura around the discomfort and suffering of mental illness,” Babina explains, “but rather to make a reflection on the prejudices and negative stigmas with which the pathologies of the mind are often observed.”
Using simple lines to send a clear message, the artist elegantly depicts different disorders. Each embedded in a solitary house that symbolizes a mental environment.

Der Biopolare hat das Gefühl, sein Haus zerfällt in zwei Hälften in der einen ist Chaos, in der anderen absolute Finsternis. Der Depressive hat wiederum das Gefühl, in seiner eigenen Wohnung zu ertrinken, während die Person mit Angststörungen am liebsten einen großen Stacheldraht um ihr Haus ziehen möchte.

Als Angehörige, Wegbegleiter und Freund*e eines betroffenen Menschen zählt nichts so sehr wie ^verstehen^ zu können.
