Fandom Trumps Hate 2024: All BBC Sherlock Creators!

BROWSING PERIOD FOR FTH 2024 IS NOW OPEN!!!

In an effort to celebrate one of my favourite multi-fandom events, and to make everyone, new and veteran, feel encouraged about being in FTH, I decided I would do that thing I do and park myself on the FTH's "fandom:BBC Sherlock" tag for a few hours and list out ALL of our wonderful creatives who are participating in FTH 2024!

Lost Along the Coast (FTH 2023)

I am joining the end of year rush to post FTH fics! Here is my FTH 2023 fic for @khorazir, who requested a sequel to Blue Plaques that took the boys to a National Trust site outside London. It was so great to revisit this version of John and Sherlock! You don't need to have read (or remember) Blue Plaques to understand this story though. Special thanks to @keirgreeneyes for betaing this work!

Summary: At Mycroft's insistence, John and Sherlock head to Boscastle to investigate a missing woman. But John can't figure out why Mycroft is so personally invested in the case … or why Sherlock seems so taken with the local investigator. Read it here!!!

🌞💐 A Happy (end of) Summer to you all! 💐🌞

This year’s Bagginshield summer event was organised by the lovely @aquilea-of-the-lonely-mountain and was titled ‘Bagginshield Summer Adventure’.

We were each given a key word to work with, and mine was ‘Market’.

These events are always such fun and I love to participate with as many as I can each year. As such, I am so sorry I’m late with my entry. It’s not quite done yet, but here are the first two chapters!

Shire-folk do not have adventures, for many of them going to market is adventure enough. It is a place to trade gossip, amongst other things. Bilbo is the subject of much gossip the day he runs off into the blue with dwarves, and then when he returns there is gossip anew in how much he has changed.

Hey there :) Since I'm participating in the HHH exchange for the first time, I wanted to ask if there will be some kind of (step by step) guide what to consider while uploading the work? I'd like to avoid any mistakes and accidentally spoiling a surprise ^^" Anyway, I'm already super excited for the next days :D

We’re all very excited in the backstage as well! We hope everyone will get a gift and will feel warm and fuzzy inside by seeing their fics receiving nice feedback, too ♥

I’ve built a step-by-step posting guide for everyone.

Then, click on ‘my assignments’, which sends you to your present and past assignments (I’ve edited mine out for illustrative purposes) and there’s a very handy FULFILL button there:

Your match-up will show up there where I blanked mine out with the ???

Next, you’ll be sent to a normal ao3 ‘new post’ page, but it’s already automatically filled out with the necessary information to affiliate your work with our collection! 

The anonymity of it is already ensured by the site, so even if you go on ‘new post’ on ao3 and post it manually to the collection, it’ll count as anonymous, which is great :D Just make sure you mark it correctly on the Associations tab, if you do it like that. (’Fulfill assignment’, ‘post to collection’, and ‘gift work to’)

So after the deadline in two days, there’ll be a week of organization and waiting for delayed projects to be uploaded. Then, on the 24th, all works will be published anonymously on ao3. A week later, all the authors will be revealed! That’s how it works, and if there are any other questions, please let us mods know!

The Adventure of the Last Will and Testament

This little holiday is the perfect opportunity to prove to John that Rosie (and John himself) can be Sherlock’s priority regardless of what else is going on in the world. Prove that the Work is no longer what matters most.It should be easy, really. I mean, what of interest could possibly happen in Bristol?
