I Ordered the wrong filter! But still happy 😃 I hadn’t even heard of Aquael a few days ago, but having looked into their range topping model the 700, and compared the stats, I thought I would give it a go and clicked the buy now button. ⁣ ⁣ This evening, the box arrived but I found I had ordered their ‘Aquael Ultramax 2000’ instead. ⁣ ⁣ The image on the amazon ad was of the 700 but no bother, I should have spent more time reading the small print! ⁣ ⁣ Having just opened this thing though, I’m bowled over with the quality! ⁣ ⁣ It also has a pre-filter built into the unit which I feel is a great touch and 5 large trays holding a claimed 6 kilos of media. ⁣ ⁣ It also shows a 2000 litre output which even conservatively speaking, with media, should still be 13-400 litres an hour, perfect for Ralph, the @manuelipiranha and his current 300 litre holding tank.⁣ ⁣ There is also an Aquamanta 1400 running alongside so plenty enough filtration. ⁣ ⁣ As for the SunSun..that’s staying in on the shelf until the spares arrive.
