I've taken a bit of a break from film and TV viewing this past month, but I have enjoyed a couple of episodes of The Mysterious Benedict Society on Disney+... S2E7 "A Joyful Lens" directed by Aprill Winney and S2E8 "A Two-Way Street" directed by Tara Nicole Weyr.

This episode (7x06) was shot in one day about a year ago

Episode was shot so fast that they could only run the ending stunt once (the plane scene)

Lil had lemons on her ledge in the background, a little homage to her on screen grandson, Deke aka Jeff

Cast gushing over Thomas and Enver's acting

April got her directing break after the Foster's director got food poisoning. Long story short she got to direct for a day, and they let her direct more episodes and other projects

Jeff shows up at the end of usual with his chaotic self

episode went 10 mins over (I think they probably had to cut it down)

Last shot was on a hill and they could only film at like one angle or otherwise you'd see LA everywhere

DJ apparently got buff during quarantine by doing deck work with his wife. Buffness was pointed out by Jeff (no surprise)
