Looking back on the show, I wish they either revealed April was Aroace OR that she actually liked girls (Karai) and that’s how TMNT 2012 concluded the Apritello storyline XD

I wanted to draw another ship I have so have april x karai.

I hate how the romance is in 2012 so have some lesbians. Raph is their biggest supporter followed by surprisingly casey jones. I feel like casey would see just how happy april is and not care and join in with raph on hyping them up and apologizing for his past behavior. Donnie on the other hand is heart broken and gets angry about the relationship intill raph quite literally slaps some sense into him. I'm sorry for all those donnie loves out there but Dislike how he was portrayed in the show. If they didn't make half his character just a april simp then I would've liked him. Leo sides with donnie at first cause you know donnies his little brother but after a fight with raph and april he starts seeing it from their point of view. Mikey doesn't care at all

todo esto empezo porque me habia hartado de tanta simpeadera por abril ya que aveces era hasta doloroso de ver,cada vez que se peleaban pensaba: "ay por dios ya besense" y ahi estuvo el detonador para crear esta webada,vendria siendo como un bromance....pero con romance(???

Ah! Y tambien un poquito de karaixabril en la esquinita porque me sobro espacio y porque senti mas quimica entre ellas en 5 minutos de la serie que en 5 temporadas con cualquiera de los 2 muecos Xd

One thing I love about mutant mayhem is that Leo has a crush on an April who’s not conventionally attractive. It almost feels like, because of the turtles’ isolated upbringing* he hasn’t been influenced by the popular western beauty ideals and just thinks this ordinary human is beautiful! And I think that’s really cool! Because she is!

*though they’ve clearly been exposed to celebrities and other pop culture so ?? idk lol
