Last March, my friend messaged everyone through discord to ask if anyone could help her with a quick project, and to meet her in the lobby of our college dorm. It was going on 10pm by this point, so most everyone said no, if they responded at all, but I didn't really have anything going on so I agreed to help.

I figured she, had some sort of film or photography project she needed someone to work the camera for (we're both art majors), but when I get down there she reaches into her purse and pulls out a back of 200 miniature plastic flamingos.

"I'm gonna hide these all over campus and see if anyone notices in the morning," she says. So for the next two hours we walk into every empty building we can find on campus and start sticking flamingos under desks, on top of shelves, between bricks. I hid one inside the dispenser on an abandoned gumball machine, and it was still there a month later.

Apparently she's been doing this every year since starting college for April Fools Day, and no one knows its her but me.
