So I grew up watching The Simpsons. And maybe I shouldn’t have, but hey, it was the 90s and parent-sanctioned family time to watch a show that was definitely inappropriate for little-little kids.

Anyways.

I knew Phil Hartman, voice of Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz died in 1998, when I was seven. I knew he died and was sad about it. I missed his characters.

My day started off very crummy but then I spent a small fortune and everything except my bank account feels at least a little bit better.

#I also finally got to season 8 in my frasier watch and Niles and Daphne are FINALLY together #and my new Apple Watch has a battery that will actually last all day #and a cool new eyeshadow #and earrings #I also paid to get my apartment cleaned yesterday and it really makes such a difference!

im trying this thing where i hide my phone when i work and its insane im actually getting things done

#i mean i set timers on my watch so its like 7 min work 1 minute check phone #then after 3 rounds of this i get 5 minutes of free time #and i also keep the phone out of my line of sight so im not habitually touching it #and its nuts my phone battery would normally be dying by 9:15 but like without charging it my phone was still around 35% at 12:30 #and i got so much work done today......#i feel like this only works tho bc i have a smartwatch #like i know we all like to clown on apple products but like #getting the airpods and a watch has been amazing for me because #when i can control my music and set my pomodoro timers #and see incoming texts without ever touching my phone then i tend to be able to avoid getting sucked into my phone lol #like ill see a text on my watch and ill be like yea im not picking up my phone rn because the minor effort of taking it out of my bag #reminds me that im supposed to be working rn #but im also not typing out a reply to this on my tiny watch #but i can also see if its a text that needs a response right away (i.e. is it my boss texting me or my friend playing 8 ball)#i hope i manage to keep this productivity up tho #cactus.txt
