I pieced this quilt. The pattern is called Batty by Apples and Beavers. My friend Becky did the custom quilting. While the quilting was NOT cheap, it is incredible! It really brings the quilt to life! I could not be more thrilled! I’d love to know what you all think of it. The photos are Becky’s as I don’t have it back home yet. SPOOKTACULAR!!!

if anyone's seen my insta (where im unfortunately more active on), you'd notice i've gotten back to gravity falls recently!! it's actually been weeks and ive been learning the show's style with some creative liberties :]]

notes on design choices:

- ford has fangs as a result of adapting to 30 yrs of dimension hopping (cough feral!ford hc) (you can pry this hc out of my cold dead hands)

- stan deserves to have ear piercings (and a gold tooth), he gets a sailor's piercing post-canon as well

- yes stan grows their hair out too (ford grew it out just a tad) because he wanted better memories with it (and also genderqueer/bigender hc)

I'm amazed by these Apple Cardigans, a free crochet pattern designed by Rebecca Harmon on Ravelry. Is there a history here? What is the benefit of dressing an apple up? The author isn't sure herself, but does seem to think they "have a certain cool factor". I'd like to make one. Just to experience it for myself. I want to understand.

Ohhhh, Anon's perfect apple ask is now giving me blessed imagery of Dusknoir cutting apple slices into bunny shapes. Maybe for Opal, maybe for him to show off, either way.
