new thing from the halloween update! They're called void masques i'm not sure if it's just for halloween or if it's a permanent feature actually but i think it's here to stay

basically it's those mask things! they spawn when rifts are activated in a world around nightmare fissure if i understood correctly? But basically those things will possess mobs and can even possess you the player if you die!

and apparently the characters have quotes for seeing their own possessed corpse, maxwell's says "Jack? Wait, no." ( thank you plushee for giving everyone the quotes when the wiki isn't updated yetttt )

Yeah, sorry, but shut the hell up. It never fails to astound me when DC actually tries to fix the mistakes they made with Talia/the al Ghuls in general these last two decades and the fans manage to be even worse than DC by clinging to the blatant racist/sexist writing of the past instead of embracing the turn for the better.

She's a fictional character in a fictional universe that is aware that it goes through continuity changes/retcons. What Grant Morrison did to her character was a a complete retcon of her 30 year history and characterization with zero respect for her. Why am I supposed to take Morrison's bullshit as gospel and reject any attempts to fix her from writers who know better?

i vaguely knew my fic was fucking long due to being 74 scenes and/or chapters, plus my notes are... 22k long.....

but for my amusement (procrastination) i put the numbers into a ratio calculator to see how long the fic might actually be (words in notes 1-4 : words in all notes = words actually written for fic scenes 1-4 : potential fic length) and jesus. god. fucking hell.
