(alternate music only video)
i struggle recreating the beauty the Holy Spirit shows me musically, with the limitations of my art. He always surprises me though, and i'm humbled at how lovely it turns out, despite me. but even so, nothing can compare.. nothing can convey the beauty of the Lord.
the most beautiful Being in the universe, our Creator, came down to be one of us and shed His blood for us. He knew we couldn't pay our sin debt ourselves, and He loved us so much He became the payment in our place. but death couldn't defeat Him and He rose on the third day.
it's only through faith in Jesus Christ and His blood that we're set free. He promises eternal life to all who believe in Him, and He's coming very soon to take us home. He is the only one worthy of praise; the only one Just and Loving and True enough to trust your life with. He will never betray you or abandon you. He has loved you unto the ends of the earth. don't wait to accept Him, time is almost up! ✝🕊
"And this is the way to have eternal life- to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one You sent to earth. I brought glory to You here on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do. Now, Father, bring Me into the glory We shared before the world began." (John 17:3-5)

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. -2 Peter 3:9
I had always thought that it says The LORD is not slackening concerning His promises. But it actually says His promise, singular not plural. And this promise is of His coming according to verse 4 of chapter 3. And clearly if you look at the context its talking about the end and the day of the Lord. I had always thought that the promises of God over my life is what Peter is talking about which is clearly not the case.

Quote
We also, bearing in mind our own frailties, may yet remember this for our own encouragement: that though we may have denied our faith over and over again, more often than St. Peter and, like St. Peter, with an oath, we have never wholly abandoned it. However blindly and feebly, we still hold on to those great principles that sprang from the eternal standard of values; and when it came to the point, with much distress of mind, with much searching of heart, we were yet willing to die for them.

The Word: Anti- Purpose & Anti- Destiny Forces 1: Spirit Of Herod by Dr ...
youtube
SECRETS OF THE SCRIPTURES : PRAYERS AGAINST ANTI-DESTINY AND ANTI-PURPOSE FORCES
Herod is that force which attacks your destiny. Your destiny is that purpose which God ordained for you to fulfill. If the devil cannot corrupt your soul, if he cannot get you to live in sin, if he cannot take you to hell then he will attempt to thwart your God given purpose.
Herod is the force that fights destiny. When Jesus Christ was born, His birth was signified by the appearance of a peculiar star. The Bible does not go into the astronomy of this event but records that some notable individuals from the east, observed the heavenly event and rightly interpreted it as the birth of a very notable person, a great king . They considered Him to be such an important individual that they journeyed from their home nation in the east, to the land of Israel in search of this child.
When Herod heard this he quickly hatched a plan to terminate the great destiny.
Those with great destinies are targets of Herod. Herod always tries to terminate your God given purpose.
Mat 2:7-8:
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
Herod is very diligent in destroying destinies. This is why many people with the call of God upon their lives often go through great trials and difficulties in life. This is the work of Herod, trying to discourage them and to destroy the purpose of God for their lives.
The wise men unknowingly and innocently, were about to become agents of Herod against the newly born Jesus. Those who would serve God must pray for mercy, wisdom and discernment because some who we meet may actually mislead us to our great loss. They may be agents of Herod (and may not even be aware of this). Many young ministers have been unwittingly led astray from their divine purpose and direction by older, notable ministers (1Kg 13:13-26).
Fortunately God warned the wise men that they should not return to Herod. (Mat 2:12)
He also instructed Joseph to flee into Egypt. (Mat. 2:13). Why did God instruct Joseph to flee into Egypt? This is the very same Egypt of which He warned Israel never to return to and never to turn to for help (Is. 31:1; Deu. 17:16). This could only happen because God was humoring Herod.
Sometimes we need to run away to preserve our destiny.
Herod is a very powerful force. He is the force that destroys mighty men of God. He destroyed John (Mat. 14:10) he killed James (Act. 12:2) and would have slain Peter as well if the Church had not risen up in unceasing prayer (Act. 12:3-11).
When Herod is against you it takes fervent prayers to obtain your deliverance. Whenever God humors Herod, His children will experience great hardship.
PRAYERS :
I will not be James, I will not be John, I will not die from a refusal of Heaven to save me.
I command the resources of Heaven be released to deliver me.
Oh lord release every angel required to deliver me.
Father Lord, deliver me out of the hand of every Herod coming after my life and destiny.
Jesus rise up against every Herod who has risen up against my life and destiny.
I command the release of the resources of Heaven against every anti - destiny force fighting my destiny.
I come against every attempt of Herod to arrest me and to execute me.
Oh Lord, do not humor any Herods in my life anymore.

Date: 1657
Medium: Oil on Canvas

This series with scenes from the Passion was first mentioned by Palomino (1724:) He made eleven paintings for the high cloisters at the Royal Convent of Saint Philip, of Shod Augustinians in this city, of the Passion of Our Lord Christ, which are excellent . According to Ponz (1776:) time has taken its toll on these paintings. Ceán (1800) added that some are signed in 1657 and cost 800 ducats. None of these authors registered the concrete subject of each painting.

"Follow Me" (John 21:19b-24)
“Follow me” is just as relevant now as it was two millennia ago.
By Unknown Artist Then he [Jesus] said to him [Peter], “Follow me!” Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved [John] was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is…

Change the Way You Think
Moses and Pharaoh A primary biblical teaching that many people find repulsive is that Jesus Christ brought change to all who would listen to and follow Him. In the “Sermon on the Mount” (Matthew 5-7), Jesus compared what people had said about lust and hatred to a new standard. The message of “repentance” seen throughout the teachings of Christ and His followers was a call to change the way you…

Filled With New Wine
As I am apt to do, I like to go beyond the headlines. Sometimes well beyond.Perhaps that inherent part of my nature is what led to this conversation I found myself having, in preparation for this weekend edition of “Becoming Today”.
This is not a tale of drunkenness or youthful indiscretions, rather it is a remembering of an important day to be celebrated. One that occurred centuries ago and for millions of people remains important today, despite the initial naysayers.  Some of the eye witnesses to the prophecy fulfilled tried to dismiss it all by mocking those initially gathered and falsely claiming “these men are full of…
