Mod Reg
Hello I’m Regulus or Reg. I use they/them and hy/hym pronouns.
I’ve been a practicing pagan since 2018ish. I began working with Hermes in late 2021 when I was traveling both by myself for the first time, and for the first time since COVID lockdown. I was insanely nervous and began to pray to Hermes before, during, and after my trip. As I began to do more research about Hermes I began to slowly realize that he has been present in my life for most of it, and I started to officially work with Hermes in early 2022. As of right now (June 2023) he is currently my primary deity and the only one I’m working with, however in the past I have worked with other deities including Loki, Apollo, and Aphrodite, and I will probably work with other deities in the future as I continue to grow and explore my path.
Fun facts about me: Audhd babie! My current hyperfixations/special interests include Critical Role Campaign 2, autism (lol), Hozier, and Languages/linguistics. I also have POTS and a handful of mental illnesses/disorders that I’m untangling. I write my own music and Poetry (which you may or may not see on here if I write anything related to Hermes/witchcraft). :D
Mod Fern
hello! i'm fern and i mainly go by he/him pronouns :>
i've been worshipping hermes since january 2022, which kickstarted my ACTIVE hellenic polytheist practice, although arguably i've been practicing since 2016. like reg, i started praying to him when my family was stuck at a hotel and unable to get home for the foreseeable future, and when i finally got home and set up what was supposed to be a temporary altar, he didn't want me to take it down! i have since realised he's my patron (with a mix of the neopagan and ancient greek definition of that word) as i'm a cross-culture kid in ib, a writer, a huge language fan, currently working to become a guardian of the dead, and much more.
i also have been practicing witchcraft since early 2020 and am an omnist with agnostic tendencies (but "hellenic polytheist" works just fine too) as well as an animist with a very eclectic folk-based practice
if you'd like to speak to me outside of this, you can find me as @rainbluealoekitten on tumblr, and i'm occasionally but rarely also active on @hellenic-worship, and i'm @/ferns_n_ravens on insta!!
Mod Lav
Hi!! I'm Lav and my pronouns are she/they.
I'm 19, and I got into witchcraft when I was 12. I'm what my friends call a "creature of chaos". Hermes is my patron god and has worked with me for more years than I can recall. He was the first deity to ever reach out to me (it took years to recognise it was him, though). I'm hypersocial and love talking, so please feel free to strike up a conversation!! Feel free to DM my main @vushadoration

fluff alphabet for korekiyo
Tumblr media
ahhh i want a korekiyo bf omg - mod kokichi
Tumblr media
A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?)
a person who is well read. he doesn't care how they present their knowledge at all. they could be very ditsy, but if they're well read on what they talk about, they've got his attention ( literally so many requested characters are into big sexy brains omg )
B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)
probably, but not until wayyy later in the relationship. he wants the child to have what he didn't when he was younger. a good home, and loving parents, and nice siblings.
C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)
with. conviction. if he decides its time to cuddle, its time to cuddle. there's no escaping from it. it's not all the time he wants to cuddle, but when he does, you can't ignore him.
D = Dates (What are dates with them like?)
they feel like they're on a different plane of existence. he makes you feel like royalty from ancient times, or the protagonist of a greek love epic. he in general has this aura of " i don't belong in this time "
E = Everything (You are my ____ (e.g. my life, my world...))
kiyo : " you are my soul. "
F = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)
when he started gathering things for you. just small things at first. a flower with your hair color, or a rock that he thought was pretty. he's pretty much like a cat. if you feed him and love him enough he'll start giving you random gifts.
G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)
i've done three of these and i still don't exactly understand this one. but he's relatively gentle overall as a person. he slowly introduces new subjects and reads social ques to be quiet or when to speak.
H = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)
he is Not a big fan of affection like holding hands. it's just not in him to do it. but when he does, it's almost always while you're asleep or cuddling.
I = Impression (What was their first impression?)
' they aren't scared. interesting. '
J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)
nope. i don't even think he understands truly what it means to be jealous. it's not him. he knows you love him and doesn't worry about your relationships with other people. he expects the same treatment in return.
K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)
his kisses are gentle, as if he didn't want to break you. he would probably be very reserved for the first few kisses, but over time he'll get more comfortable and more into it.
L = Love (Who says 'I love you' first?)
you probably did, to be fair. i don't really have a reason behind this, i just feel like he would want you to say it first, so he would wait for you to do so. it's a bit of a test, just to see if you truly love him. because he already knows how he feels, but he can never be sure unless you're ready to take that step with him.
M = Memory (What's their favourite memory together?)
when you two went to the museum together, and you were telling / him / about the artifacts there ! he was just so surprised that you knew this stuff. it never really hit him that you were just repeating things that he had told you in the past.
N = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)
he kind of spoils, but not with money or anything. just with random things he finds. a feather on the street ? you'll be happy to see it when he gets home. a book from the library ? you two can read it together. stuff like that.
O = Orange (What colour reminds them of their other half?)
probably a soft color like light blue. light blue often represents purity and emotional strength, and it's a color that's soft to look at.
P = Pet names (What pet names do they use?)
i don't think he would use petnames per say, but i think he would ' nickname ' to refer to you after different gods and goddesses of romance from different cultures. persephone, aphrodite, yue lao, aizen-myoo, hathor and others are all kinds of petnames he has for you.
Q = Quaint (What is their favourite non-modern thing?)
it's korekiyo. what do you think. it's everything that's quiet and small under the moon. he likes long walks in the middle of the night, and studying different artifacts, and snuggling up while reading a book.
R = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?)
a typical day includes him staying inside and learning, so that's not going to change when it's raining outside. sometimes if he gets bored he calls you and talks to you for hours about whatever he's currently learning about, just to bounce ideas off of you and hear your voice.
S = Sad (How do they cheer themselves/others up?)
you might've guessed it but,, reading helps this boy calm down a lot. even though he's chill most of the time, i still can see him prone to outbursts when everything gets too much. during those times, he just needs to chill with a book.
T = Talking (What do they like to talk about?)
the evolution of the human race as an intelligent species, the way people act in different scenarios with different backgrounds, human geography and the history behind it. that kind of stuff.
U = Unencumbered (What helps them relax?)
being in bed with a good book and light piano music with  you right beside him. it's like a wake up call and a lullaby at the same time.
V = Vaunt (What do they like to show off? What are they proud of?)
he is also not the kind of guy who likes to show off a lot, but he is rather proud of his collection of artifacts and his knowledge about people.
W = Wedding (When, how, where do they propose?)
i can see him proposing in a forest clearing. like, he just went to study an artifact there that most adventurers don't know of, and it was slightly raining. both of your hairs were wet but neither of you minded. and he just,, popped the question. it had been talked out before, of course, so you knew it was coming soon, but it still had an element of surprise.
X = Xylophone (What's their song?)
frick uhm
something just like this - the chainsmokers
Y = Yes (Do they ever think of getting married/proposing?)
way later into the relationship, like with the children. but yes, on occasion he does think about getting married one day.
Z = Zebra (If they wanted a pet, what would they get?)
a cat. maybe two. okay, three. three cats. one of them is definitely going to be a black cat. the other may be white, and then an orange one. it's whatever ones he adopts at the clinic. adopt, don't shop guys.

Note
Not OP, but I want to say I really liked your response about potential colonization of Greek culture. However, I think some of the concern might come from the fact that for your app post you've already got a white, blue-eyed blonde version of Aphrodite - the stereotypical American and white European standard of beauty. I super want to see this zine do well, but I'd also REALLY like the mods to consider how they're presenting this project moving forward so intent matches what you say/do.
Hello Anon,
All the Mods agree that our message should make sense with how we portray our graphics.
We didn't think the stickers could offend anyone, we also didn't realize that they were following the stereotype, mostly because all resources I found where the same stereotyped version.
From now on, we will be more careful and the graphics will have a new feel to them!
All the Mods and specially I as the graphic Mod apologize deeply.
Take care & Rest assured that research will be done.
Don't feel discouraged, and join us in the zine! We have already a channel prepared for resources so this zine will be respectful and celebrate the different cultures featured in.
Thank you for your concern and hopefully you'll forgive me.

(not the last anon)Do you have any advice on how to run a rad-fem lesbian side-blog?
It’s quite easy, actually!  You just do what all of the other ~*~ uwu wlw sapphic ~*~ blogs do, except you believe the definition of a lesbian is the historical, biological, and cultural definition of a lesbian.  Like the dictionary says.  Literally ever dictionary.
Tumblr media
Female homosexual.  If anyone finds a definition of lesbian from a reliable source that reads “anyone who identifies as a lesbian”, I will finally accept that homosexuality is dead and move on with my life.
As for starting a lesbian blog, here is what you will need
A good, simple, and meaningful URL.  Topics/Keywords in your URL may include but are not limited to: Lesbian, Girls, Sappho, Lavender, Artemis, Aphrodite, ect ect.  You can also use anything from a google-related search of “Lesbian symbols in literature/hisotry”, or homosexuality in general.
Lesbians on your dash- and frequently.  Make sure you follow some lesbian bloggers who post rebloggable content frequently so that you can keep your blog active.
A simple and aesthetically appealing theme.  Light, happy colors.  Not too overcrowded.  Only reblog high-quality pictures.
A target audience.  Make sure to find out what tags they use (”sapphic”, “wlw”, “lesbian”, and “feminism” are a few), and tag your original posts accordingly.
Have an About, FAQ, and Mods page.  Keep them simple, to the point, and aesthetically pleasing.
Here’s some advice on staying active and positive
Talk to your followers!  They’re nice and you should get to know them
Host fun events (selfie party, questions night, post ask memes, confessions, sleepover saturday, ect) to spark conversations
Try to stay positive!
Take breaks if you become overwhelmed.
Perhaps enlist other mods that you trust to help out
And the more tricky parts:
Consider specifically avoiding the word “radical” or “radicalism”, or even politics in general.  People are more open to ideas if they are not labeled a extreme.  It’s also more PC on tumblr to say that your viewpoints are based on Marxist class analysis (which they are) as opposed to the keywords that trigger “warning!  evil exclusionary radical outspoken lesbian!” the the minds of liberals on this site.
Block the IP of anon hate, block the users who send hate with their names on it.  Don’t post it- they just want your time and attention, and it won’t get you anywhere.  The urge to post it is strong, but you are bigger than them.  Channel that anger into love and or activism.
And one last note- make sure you’re doing this because you want to, because you love women and want to share that love, not because you want to piss off homophobes.  I know it’s tempting, but you really have to love what you do or it will leave you empty.

Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman is a fictional superheroine appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character is a founding member of the Justice League. The character first appeared in All Star Comics#8 in October 1941 with her first feature in Sensation Comics #1 in January 1942. The Wonder Woman title has been published by DC Comics almost continuously except for a brief hiatus in 1986. In her homeland, the island nation of Themyscira, her official title is Princess Diana of Themyscira. When blending into the society outside of her homeland, she sometimes adopts her civilian identity Diana Prince.
Wonder Woman was created by the American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston (pen name: Charles Moulton), and artist Harry G. Peter. Marston's wife, Elizabeth, and their life partner, Olive Byrne, are credited as being his inspiration for the character's appearance. Marston's comics featured his ideas on DISC theory, and the character drew a great deal of inspiration from early feminists, and especially from birth control pioneer Margaret Sanger; in particular, her piece "Woman and the New Race".
Wonder Woman's origin story relates that she was sculpted from clay by her mother Queen Hippolyta and was given a life to live as an Amazon, along with superhuman powers as gifts by the Greek gods. In recent years, DC changed her background with the retcon that she is the daughter of Zeus and Hippolyta, jointly raised by her mother and her aunts Antiope and Menalippe. The character has changed in depiction over the decades, including briefly losing her powers entirely in the late 1960s; by the 1980s, artist George Perez gave her an athletic look and emphasized her Amazonian heritage. She possesses an arsenal of magical items, including the Lasso of Truth, a pair of indestructible bracelets, a tiara which serves as a projectile, and, in older stories, a range of devices based on Amazon technology.
Wonder Woman's character was created during World War II; the character in the story was initially depicted fighting Axis military forces as well as an assortment of colorful supervillains, although over time her stories came to place greater emphasis on characters, deities, and monsters from Greek mythology. Many stories depicted Wonder Woman rescuing herself from bondage, which defeated the "damsels in distress" trope that was common in comics during the 1940s. In the decades since her debut, Wonder Woman has gained a cast of enemies bent on eliminating the Amazon, including classic villains such as Ares, Cheetah, Doctor Poison, Circe, Doctor Psycho, and Giganta, along with more recent adversaries such as Veronica Cale and the First Born. Wonder Woman has also regularly appeared in comic books featuring the superhero teams Justice Society (from 1941) and Justice League (from 1960).
The character is an iconic figure in popular culture that has been adapted to various media. October 21 is Wonder Woman Day, commemorating the release of her first appearance in All Star Comics#8 (with the exception of 2017 which held the day on June 3 to tie in with the release of the film of the same name).
Wonder Woman has been featured in various media from radio to television and film, and appears in merchandise sold around the world, such as apparel, toys, dolls, jewelry, and video games. Shannon Farnon, Susan Eisenberg, Maggie Q, Lucy Lawless, Keri Russell, Kate Beckinsale, Rosario Dawson, Cobie Smulders, and Halsey among others, have provided the character's voice for animated adaptations. Wonder Woman has been depicted in both film and television by Cathy Lee Crosby, Lynda Carter, and in the DC Extended Universe films by Gal Gadot.
> Diana Prince
The "Diana Prince" identity has been part of Wonder Woman's history since her comics debut in 1941. In the early Golden Age stories, Wonder Woman served as a military secretary during World War II, using Prince as her cover. Later occupations Wonder Woman performed as Prince included translator at the United Nations, Air Force captain and ambassador, and in the '70s TV series, Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman used Prince to serve as an agent of the Inter-Agency Defense Command. In the DC Extended Universe, Prince works as curator for the Department of Antiquities at the extremely prestigious Louvre Museum and is held in very high esteem by the curator of the Gotham City Museum of Antiquities. Her tremendously long life span, accumulation of immense amount of knowledge and exceptional perceptiveness makes Diana Prince the wisest and most emotionally-intelligent member of the Justice League.
During Marston's run, Diana Prince was the name of an army nurse whom Wonder Woman met. The nurse wanted to meet with her fiancé, who was transferred to South America, but was unable to arrange for money to do so. As Wonder Woman needed a secret identity to look after Steve (who was admitted to the same army hospital in which Diana Prince worked), and because both of them looked alike, Wonder Woman gave the nurse money to go to her fiancé in exchange for the nurse's credentials and took Diana Prince as her alias. She started to work as an army nurse and later as an Air Force secretary.
The identity of Diana Prince was especially prominent in a series published in the early 1970s, in which she fought crime only under the Prince alias and without her mystic powers. To support herself, she ran a mod clothing boutique.
The Diana Prince alias also played an important role after the events of Infinite Crisis. Wonder Woman was broadcast worldwide killing a villain named Maxwell Lord, as he was mind controlling Superman into killing Batman. When Wonder Woman caught him in her lasso, demanding to know how to stop Superman, Maxwell revealed that the only way to stop him was to kill Lord, so as a last resort Diana snapped his neck. To recover from the trauma of killing another person, the Amazon went into a self-imposed exile for one year. On her return to public life, Diana realized that her life as a full-time celebrity superhero and ambassador had kept her removed from humanity. Because of this she assumed the persona of Diana Prince and became an agent at the Department of Metahuman Affairs. During a later battle with the witch Circe, a spell was placed on Diana leaving her powerless when not in the guise of Wonder Woman.
The New 52 universe does not have a "Diana Prince" identity as stated in an interview by series writer Brian Azzarello. However, when she and Superman began dating, for her civilian identity she used the Diana Prince alias whenever she was around Clark Kent; such as when she introduced herself to Lois Lane at Lois's housewarming party under that name.
Personality
Princess Diana commands respect both as Wonder Woman and Diana Prince; her epithetical title – The Amazon Princess – illustrates the dichotomy of her character. She is a powerful, strong-willed character who does not back down from a fight or a challenge. Yet, she is a diplomat who strongly "favors the pen", and a lover of peace who would never seek to fight or escalate a conflict. She's simultaneously both the most fierce and most nurturing member of the Justice League; and her political connections as a United Nations Honorary Ambassador and the ambassador of a warrior nation makes her an invaluable addition to the team. With her powerful abilities, centuries of training and experience at handling threats that range from petty crime to threats that are of a magical or supernatural nature, Diana is capable of competing with nearly any hero or villain.
Many writers have depicted Diana in different personalities and tone; between both of her diametric extremes; that of a worldly warrior, a highly compassionate and calm ambassador, and sometimes also as a naive and innocent person, depending on the writer. What has remained constant, and is a mainstay of the character, is her nurturing humanity: her overwhelming belief in love, empathy, compassion, and having a strong conscience.[citation needed] This trait had been the reason for her induction into the Star Sapphires.
Writer Gail Simone was applauded for her portrayal of Wonder Woman during her run on the series, with comic book reviewer Dan Phillips of IGN noting that "she's molded Diana into a very relatable and sympathetic character."
Actress Gal Gadot described Wonder Woman as "an idealist. Experienced, super-confident. Open and sincere even in the midst of a gruesome, bloody conflict. Having many strengths and powers, but at the end of the day she's a woman with a lot of emotional intelligence".
In the Golden Age, Wonder Woman adhered to an Amazon code of helping any in need, even misogynistic people, and never accepting a reward for saving someone; while conversely, the modern version of the character has been shown to perform lethal and fatal actions when left with no other alternative, exemplified in the killing of Maxwell Lord in order to save Superman's life.
The New 52 version of the character has been portrayed to be a younger, more headstrong, loving, fierce and willful person.[citation needed] Brian Azzarello stated in a video interview with DC Comics that they're building a very "confident", "impulsive" and "good-hearted" character in her. He referred to her trait of feeling compassion as both her strength and weakness.
A distinctive trait of her characterization is a group of signature mythological exclamations, beginning with "Great Aphrodite!", followed by "Great Hera!", "Merciful Minerva!", and "Suffering Sappho!', some of which were contributed by Elizabeth Holloway Marston.
