The Devine warriors!

Loved designing these six and can’t wait to draw them again, honestly I can’t pick a favorite but enki,shade ,and kul’zak are probably my most proud of.

Irene- purple, white, gold, sprout/plants, lotus, doves, wings, Irene’s crest, amethyst, spring

Enki- green, blue, white, winter, books, Enki’s crest, tortoise, ram, emerald, Lilly of the vally

Shade- red, black, silver, fire, wolves, war, sword, ruby, nether star, withered rose, shade’s crest, fall

Esmund- gold, dark blue, maroon, sword and shield, Edmund’s crest, willow tree, black cross, sapphire, bear

Kul’zak- blue, brown, white, manta ray, ocean, Kul’zak’s crest, Cosmos, aquamarine, summer, boat ore

Menphia- red, orange, yellow, lion, amber, cats, Menphia’s crest, fist/paw, tiger Lilly

Each of the six Devine warriors have a patron Saint, a leader of there followers and blessed with there powers.

Currently Saint sabrial and calsafor are the only I’ve drawn and wrote for but each warrior has one.

Irene: Pride .. Holds herself in a high position, self appointed leader.

Shad: Envy .. Jealous of Irene and the praise she receives, jealous of the life she’s lived, self pity king.

Esmund: Sloth .. Doesn’t often use his full abilities, preferring not to get involved.

Menphia: Wrath .. Quick to anger, slow to calm.

Enki: Greed .. Keeper of more than just knowledge.

Kul’zak: Gluttony .. A taste for wine, mead, ale, you name it.

Xavier: Lust .. Irene is his entire being, everything he lives and yearns for. He exists to love her.

Day 3 of Aphtober: Divine!

I decided to draw those 2 Divine warriors that constantly hurt my brain whenever I think of them

I came to a realization about My Inner Demons the aphmau series.

the daemos + ava? theyre the divine warriors from mcd. theres six of them and ok hear me out. Ava is irene obviously. Rhys is Enki (the keeper), Pierce is Esmund (the protector), Asch is either Shad (the destroyer, opposite to irene) or Menphia (the fury). Noi and Leif could go either way, they could each be Kulzac (the wanderer), but Leif could also be Shad. 👍

Part 2!!!

Menphia (Katelyn) - Yellow Sapphire

Again pretty self explanatory! It’s meant to channel rage and use it as a strength instead of an inhibitor! Katelyn is a naturally hotheaded person, however, she shines the brightest when this is not used as a stumbling block, but rather a tool. (i.e. why I paired her with the yellow sapphire) She as someone who is powered by a righteous fury and loving heart. I also really like the part about self reflection as in Diaries, Katelyn originally worked for the Jury of Nine and I kinda wanna dig into that more in the rewrite.

The shape inspo is obviously a fire, as well as looking strikingly similar to Katelyn’s weapon of choice

Also, side tangent, but Kaitlyn is soOOOO silly to me. Everything about her design makes you think that she’d be an ice user but instead she uses fire- Iconic

Kul’zak (Laurance) - Peridot

#1: “Zesty��

#2: Let’s be so fr this is literally just his entire character summed up. The whole guilt, jealousy, anger, and doubt are all some of the biggest things that he struggles with, as well as mentions of demons and the sun??? When he basically turns into a fire demon????? Ok honey, you’re just a peridot. Also him just kind of being outgoing and the heart of the friend group, so even when he’s far away, you can still tell that their bond can never be truly shaken off

The shape itself is emulating a lantern! Hammering home Laurance’s role as a “light in the darkness”

Virgil (Dante) - Mossy Agate

OK, so I technically made this one up because if memory serves Dante is supposed to be Kul’zak. However! I hate that Laurance isn’t a divine warrior, so I decided that Laurence is Kul’zaks incarnation and created Virgil the Inspiriter!!!! His name is Virgil, because in Dantes Inferno, Dante is led by a man named Virgil, and I thought it would be funny

The relic being shaped like balanced scales, showing how, even when other peoples loyalties shift and change, Dante has always been the glue/seen with eyes unclouded by his own prejudices. His presence is some thing that is often overlooked but when it’s gone, it’s noticed. He sparks hope and is always there to lift up and care for the people around him

Diares Rewrite - Divine Relics And Their Warriors

I (added one) AND REDESIGNED THE DIVINE RELICS!!!

This was mainly done for one because I don’t really like the many of the original designs tbh- AND TWO! I wanted to put effort into the symbolism behind the shapes and gems, because symbolism makes me happy, and I like over analyzing things 😌

This one is going to be a long one, so I’m gonna go ahead and put a cut here, lol

FIRST OFF!

Irene (Aphmau)- Purple Diamond

Irene’s relic is based off of the purple diamond! One of the most rare gemstones and a sign for nobility. Irene, being the head of the warriors, slides into this role, as well as the theming of pride and spirituality, for, obvious reasons.

This one didn’t really get a redesign since it’s so iconic

Enki (Travis) - Lapis

Besides wisdom being a key tenant of Enki’s divinity, I thought this worked a lot with Travis and the storyline I’m planning to put him through.

From someone who flirts to hide their their own feelings and thoughts, to someone who is more open and an advisor of sorts. I view Travis as someone who is genuinely very smart and always listening and adapting his actions and words to what people want. The conclusion to his story would be to put a focus on him learning to do what he wants, and to being more genuine and open. To learn that his not just what he can do for others, he’s not just his fathers jailer. That these things are great and all, but that him just being himself is all that really matters

I kept this pretty much the same as the old design again since it looks cool and also I think having the two little gems bracketed leans into the “keeper” title. Especially with the people of their line being all about keeping the demon warlock/evil forces sealed away.

Shad (Aaron) - Ruby

Lets be soooo for real, the story tells itself. From the past hurts, to martyrdom, all the way to being protective of family and having a distorted veiw of one’s self. Shad and Aaron both fit all of these to a T

Annnndddd for the shape I took inspiration from this Slavic symbol!

Like…. Fire…… war……… going through shit….….. also the whole “child” thing!? What started his whole downfall was his daughter being turned into a relic. This relic. To be exact.

I get to be a little devious. As a treat >:3c

Esmund (Garroth) - Pink Garnet

Ok so, the name obviously matches but omg I swear I didn’t realize until much later XDDD

Funny coincidences aside, I thought the themes of loyalty, devotion, consistency, etc. really match him and the stability that he brings to those around him. Not to mention the whole “used to ward off evil“ blah blah blah. AS WELL AS the part where it says that it’s believed through being cut and polished (put through hard times) are when a garnets ability truly shines through. Showing how before he was nothing but a cog in his father’s wheel until he went through adversity and re made himself!

I wanted this to have the general shape shield as well as include the reoccurring shape I put in Garroth’s redesign!

I genuinely love Irene, from the little we know about her it paints such an interesting story.

Irene knows no love, and I love that about her.

Love has so far damned her, she was in love with Shad and in turn Shad was in love with her. Despite that, there was no peace for they always fought, Shad being the antithesis to Irene. She tried everything, but nothing worked to stop destruction. Then you had Kul’zak and Esmund who were also in love with, but presumably she didn’t love them back. That probably destroyed her from the inside out. Irene doesn’t love because love is the reason why everything went wrong. Irene most likely genuinely wants to help everyone, that’s what she set out to do in the beginning. Though the care that she displayed is exact reason of her down fall.

The same exact thing is happening with Aphmau in MCD. Aphmau may or may not be in love with Garroth and/or Laurance in the beginning. That isn’t important, what is that this loved caused most of later events of season one to happen. Laurance likely wouldn’t have become a shadow knight ( probably debatable.) Garroth most likely wouldn’t have given into Zane. There is also an argument to be made that he might’ve not stayed behind, but I think he would’ve since he is “the Protector.” Then in season two love costed Aaron’s life, leaving Aphmau alone with their child. Love is costing Aphmau people, and it’s a really just a ticking time bomb until she breaks.

Her conversation with Alexis about love is really telling (I don’t remember the episode, but it’s season two near the beginning.) Its about people loving them, but not knowing what to do. Alexis expresses her feelings and how she fell out of liking Malachi and Levin romantically. Though a reason for this is it becoming too much. This parallels Garroth and Laurance, Aphmau expressing a similar sentiment. Aphmau is overwhelmed with love and it shows. She doesn’t know what to do with it, and lets it run it’s course ( feel free to disagree with me on this, I might’ve missed a lot.)

If season three was finished I like to be believe that it would end with Aphmau losing her ability to love just like Irene did. After killing or possibly reincarnating Shad she would lock herself back in the Irene dimension. Explains why she disappeared after awhile as her daughter Aline explained.

All this to say is that I believe that Irene has put herself in a constant loop of falling in and out of love. Then eventually losing all of her emotions in the process. Irene’s origins are already murky to begin with, and I’d like to believe that she had a past before Irene. Perhaps she even had more, which all ended the same way. Everyone around her loving her, but this love causing destruction. It’s a constant cycle as Irene tries to find a time where she can love and it won’t cause destruction. It’s tragic and that’s why I love it, Irene as much as she cannot feel, she desires to.

That’s my silly little interpretation of Irene :) I probably missed a lot of things since it’s been like 3 years since I’ve watched the series, but binge watching will be great. Oh and I also might be wrong on a lot of this. Also second disclaimer I did not watch MyStreet in full.

here are my ideas for a hypothetical minecraft diaries au :D

Have Aph be summoned by Vylad and brought into the village with amnesia like in Rebirth

Take away the crazy cat lady (she’s not important to the plot)

Keep the chicken shaman but make him an actual shaman (and maybe add a plotline where he knows Irene?) - credits goes to madcatlad

Maybe change Nana’s name but definitely her profession - instead of her being a maid in a maid cafe with doll magic, she’s a baker with fire magic (haha get it? because of what happened in mystreet okay i’m done now)

Laurence being Shad’s reincarnation/incarnation instead of Aaron (i just think it would be a really cool plot twist) - credit goes to roxxie-spirt

Katelyn is Menphia’s incarnation and Dante is Kul’Zac’s

I’m thinking about maybe having the relics be powerful items that choose their wielder, giving them powers and maybe immortality 

Aaron is just a mentor/valued friend to Aphmau and the gang until he dies and becomes Shad’s vessel 

Shad is not looking for Alina in this universe (because she doesn’t exist) but Laurance in s3 

The shadow spirits go after Laurance instead of Cadenza in s2 - credit goes to jackal-artist

Maybe Laurance’s sight is lowered or he just has scars after being tortured?? (idk i’m just spitballing here)

Aph, Garroth, Dante, and Katelyn bond over finding out that they’re incarnations (Travis already figured it out and is fine with it, same with Laurance (pay no attention to the mental screaming) /j)

I will say the part where Laurence and Garroth fight would be a neat parallel to Esmund fighting against Shad

Maybe Laurance joins Aph and the group to the Irene Dimension which would be interesting

Funny idea: Laurance calling his fellow guards and Travis Esmund/Menphia/Kul’Zak and Enki by accident and quickly amending himself before anyone notices

Potentially angsty idea: Laurance subconsciously using shadow magic at the wedding (in this universe/rewrite his rampage happened by accident instead of being a willing act of jealousy until aph calms him down)

Laurance being haunted by himself, literally and metaphorically /hj

Wyverns + the Divines

ALRIGHT ITS GONNA BE A BIG POST !! I did some visuals just so yall can have some eye candy~ anywho let’s get to it!

Wyverns are very magical / powerful beings , they’re also very, very, intelligent. They have cultures councils dialects etc and so when they went to discover the new realm they were trusting after discovering realm traveling via portals they couldn’t wait to greet the beings of this realm. Sadly their welcome wasn’t ideal, humans , werewolves, Witches, mei’fewa almost every being in the overrealm didn’t welcome the Wyverns with open arms. Which made the great Wyvern hunt era began which is actually before the Divine era! Wyverns weren’t outcasted by everyone of course , elves as well as some small groups of warlocks were opened to the Wyverns and wanted to be close to them! Wyverns decided to create a spell for other beings to be able to speak to them ( just cause I didn’t like that only the descendants of the divine were the only able to ) I do like the fact that Wyverns can reborn after a long period of time! So I am keeping that in, but there’s a way to interrupt that reborn process with strong magicks ..

Now let’s get into the divine warriors or the Wyvern hunters. Believe or not Esmund was the one who started to Trend of hunting the Wyverns within the group, at first Esmund fought of the Wyvern out of protecting Enki and Kul’zak. Then the thrill of it was something he hadn’t felt before.. Now Esmund and the rest were all in their mid teens to say the least ,t hem hunting down Wyverns were all for sport and for the prices Wyverns went for. During the Wyvern hunting era it was very difficult to actually uphold an actual body of a Wyvern since their bodies would disappear out of thin air it seems. So if you were able to capture a Wyvern and harvest their scales, feathers, bodily liquids ( any . Yes. Any ) , or more they went for top dollar. ( fun fact: Kul’zak as a gift for his friends actually made armor out of the scales of the Wyvern and for the ladies he gifted them feathered Woven dresses which would actually be the cloth Aphmau wakes in when she’s awoken in mcdS1) Anyways , yes the Group would trap, hunt, and profit out of this practice. Irene and Enki out of the group were magically gifted, out of the name of well research Enki and Irene wanted to see what exactly they can use the Wyverns in the sake of their magical properties. While prodding a Wyvern for blood , Irene had the urge to just… sip.. and she did just that , suddenly she felt a sharp rush in her body she felt stronger she felt like her abilities were heightened. Enki kept note of that. Esmund helped the two in their researched by collecting more and more Wyverns . Yeah uhh this isn’t exactly the story the divine warriors told anyone but it’s the truth. Over the span of a few years , they done it. They discovered how to create relics or at least a prototype of one, Shad was the first to test it out. It definitely worked he was stronger faster and he even began to use magic which he had none of before then. Now how they made the relic or the prototype wasn’t an easy task , Enki practically drained an adult Wyvern till it just died on its own. Irene and Enki do eventually figure out how to contain the soul of the Wyvern, in doing so as punishment by nature Irene and Enki ( I might make it all the warriors but I need some inspiration)bear a mark of their shame. To others these are holy divine marks told by the winners but to Wyvern kind they know the truth, Irene and her descendants will bear the darkened marks formed on her body and Enki bearing the horns and tail of a demon. As for the others they don’t need to worry about generational shame from the Wyverns but they still hold powerful relics. I’ll probably talk about the relics in another post but for now let me continue. When the hunters/divines turned into their 20s they wanted to turn their life around.. at least move on from the hunting of Wyverns and into helping the world, after Irene and Enki got punished they decided erm maybe that wasn’t the best move 🙄. So they released the Wyverns they captured on the condition they will never speak ill in their name ever or else. Which is why a chunk of history is kinda muddy of course some spoke of their story which is how the ‘ rumor ‘ of the divine warriors not being so divine… happened but how did Irene and Enki make some of the Wyverns trust them? It was purely of gaslighting that oh! We didn’t steal these Wyverns souls.. they gave it to us! As an offering of friendship. Shad managed to convince the councils of some Wyverns that what he preached was truth and gifted them their own relics (made out of a different material not Wyverns ). That’s all for the divine warrior portion for now …((I will make a post about the warriors in the future they aren’t JUST assholes dw))

OK LAST POINT!! Which is mainly Laurance n garroths connection to Wyverns :3 this one might be shorter than the previous one. How ungrth and Laurance met is a fairly simple one, ungrth as he did his patrol on guarding his kin. He heard a small cry in the distance of the forest, for ungrth it sounded like a hatchling and so he went out to find the source and he saw a small little 4 year old Laurance lost in the woods separated from his family ( bio ) who at the time didn’t know were gone. Ungrth was hesitant, he knew how humans were he know how cruel how selfish they were. After all he was there during the great hunting era. As he attempted to fly off , Laurance cried louder and louder. Something about his cry’s broke ungrth heart , he told himself this one time he’ll help a worthless human. He landed and walked over to the small boy who was curled up , when Laurance heard the sounds of leaves he darted his head up seeing a huge wyvern overhead. Laurances green eyes stabbed back into ungrth green eyes. In that moment ungrth forgotten his hatred for humanity, seeing a young man’s eyes as green as his suddenly just melted the heart of this wise wyvern. Laurance wasn’t afraid and ran to the Wyvern crying for ungrth. Ungrth couldn’t talk to him unless he said the spell, without hesitation he did . Ever since Laurance and ungrth were family. Ungrth eventually found out about Laurances bioparents passing and he was actually going to let Laurance into his clan but of course it was prohibited and ungrth gladly turned his back on his kin to be with the human he loved . He eventually found Laurance a great family to be with. I LOVE UNGRTH AND LAURANCES FOUND FAMILY RELATIONSHIP OK 😭( the Zvhals and ungrth are tight no worries.

Now for Garroth! So the romeaves actually never gave up Wyvern hunting. In honor of Edmund their ancestor! Garte fought a Wyvern and now it was for the oldest Garroth(age 14) to fight one as well, but Garroth hated this practice. He’s done his research on Wyverns due to Zianna wanting her sons to be educated and thought this was something for the dark ages to do but Garte demanded for Garroth to go out and slay a Wyvern. Garroth with his tail tucked between his legs shamefully went out to find a Wyvern. Hell in this day n age it’s fucking rare to find a Wyvern, Garroth was tempted just to take the tail of a bearded dragon . It’s been days since he went out he was actually going to do his plan B if he couldn’t find a damn Wyvern until.. he heard crash in the woods. Garroth went to find the cause and it was.. a small Wyvern , it was Raven , he was injured badly and arrow throw his wing . It had a cross ok it was one of his kingdoms ( Plot twist Zane(10) did it he was gonna prove that he was better than Garroth but anyways he couldn’t find the body so womp womp ) Garroth saw Raven hell this was his chance he can just mercy kill this Wyvern.. but it didn’t need mercy it just needed medical help. Garroth went up to Raven his sword out , Raven was going not back down from a fight but.. Garroth couldn’t do it he just couldn’t he fell to his knees crying. Fuck Raven was confused, Garroth told him he wasn’t going to hurt Raven but that’s crocodile tears to Raven. It took hours for Garroth to gain ravens trust, and I’m not saying like 2-4 I mean like 6-9 hours of just talking to Raven even though Garroth knew he wouldn’t hear anything back from Raven since he knew of the contract that Raven would need to do in order to speak. Raven after hearing this, huge 14 yr old finally submitted and allowed Garroth to help him. Raven gave Garroth some of his feathers and scales to show his father so Garroth wouldn’t be shunned by his father out of some form of empathy. Now Raven didn’t give Garroth the ability to speak to him until season2 when he came back from the Irene dimension. Either way Raven trusted Garroth from now on helping him send messages when asked as a thanks.

MCD Headcanons:

-Laurance and garroth are 100% Malechi and Levins father figures

This isn’t even a HC imo but malechi is laurances adopted son and levin is garroths and that’s all there is to it honestly

- Travis is flirty completely by accident.

Due to his isolation from the village for their own safety, Travis had to find other ways to spend his time. Eventually, he started reading various books from his mother’s old collection as well as from various townspeople and the occasional abandoned ship. Most of these novels just so happened to be romance novels and as such he began to start speaking like the dialogue in the books he read. He obviously knew the townspeople didn’t speak like his books had, but they were the closest thing he had to an outside perspective given the cursed seas and the demon warlock kept him there. So it’s no surprise that he used the same flirtatious personality he had developed upon meeting both Aphmau and Laurance. Later along the line he just kept it up because it was funny to him. (Later season 2 goes against this and I’m well aware but I just try to think the best of Travis)

-the jury of the nine willingly surrender themselves to memory suppression magicks

In s2 ep34 Katelyn says “he wasn’t even supposed to keep his memory of Abby, but he did and look where that got him.” I’d like to think that this implies that most jury members allowed Zane to use memory suppression on them that also makes it so members aren’t emotional so that they aren’t vulnerable. Unlike most members Jeffory did not undergo this process as it’s not entirely mandatory but Zane likely strongly suggested it. However because he knew Abby would be utterly alone without him, Jeffory refused to allow his memories to be repressed. Other than Jeffory, all other jury members did undergo this process but it only lasts as long as they are a member of the jury. Hence why Katelyn slowly became more and more emotional post losing her position.

- Janus the Silver Death uses They/He pronouns

When Katelyn talks about Janus in season 2 episode 79 she fluctuates between they and he pronouns. There was a fluctuation between the two and I’m not sure if it was on purpose or not as like a writers choice, but it happened enough times for me to conclude that Janus uses They/He pronouns <3

-Katelyn and Ivy dated

In season 2 episode 91 ivy says “did you miss me love?” And while she says things like darling to anyone using specifically love stuck out?? Idk? But if they dated it was definitely for a short span and with a messy breakup that was likely caused by ivy taking things way too far. She also further added onto this behavior post breakup.

-Lo is the descendant of Kul’Zak or Menphia

I know Lucinda looks a lot like Menphia in a lot of ways, but honestly with Lo accompanying Aph to the Tu’Lah region and it all lining up the way it did it makes sense? Honestly though I don’t feel like he aligns with her title of the fury which is where kul’zak comes in. His title was that of the wanderer and honestly I could fully see Lo meeting that title, but that’s just about all I can say for him. Maybe there was more we never knew? Maybe his defense of his girls was representative of his “fury” but honestly it’s up for debate. I definitely believe he was tied to one of the relics though in some way shape or form.

Mystreet/MCD Madoka Magica au

Okay, so a while back I talked about having ideas for a Aphverse Madoka Magica au, and now I’m actually going to talk about it, mainly the characters.

Characters

Aphmau - Obviously Aphmau takes on the role of Madoka. She’s friendly and cheerful, but a little shy. She doesn’t have many friends, but she doesn’t mind. Her world gets turned upside down when she meets a sorceress named Hyria, who has the ability to give people extraordinary powers with her relics. She (normally) receives Irene’s relic.

Travis - Travis fills Sayaka’s role. With Hitomi as Vylad, they become the not alone buddy trio. He has a crush on the captain of the volleyball team, Katelyn. He hopes to be able to become her friend someday, but hasn’t mustered up the courage to talk to her. He receives Enkis relic.

Garroth - Garroth takes on Mami’s role. He’s sort of the mentor of the group, showing Travis and Aph the ropes, while also looking out for their well being. He became a divine warrior (this universes magical girls) to protect the people he cares about. None of his family has found out what he’s doing, but Zane has his suspicions. He has Esmunds relic.

Laurance - Laurance is Kyouko. He has a fiery temper, and is a lone wolf. I also think Sayaka and Kyouko’s relationship really fits Travis and Laurence’s. Like in the anime, Laurance starts off as an antagonist, but warms up to the Travis and Aphmau over time. He has Menphia’s relic.

Dante - Dante is Homura. He is stuck in a time loop, constantly trying to find a way to save Aphmau. So far, to no avail. He’s very distant from the team, but tries to lead Aphmau away from the path of the divine warriors, in his own way. He has Shads relic.

Hyria - Hyria is Kyubey. She is the one who gives the divine warriors their relics. At first, she seems nice, but over time, her true intentions are revealed. She disguises herself as one of Phoenix drop highs teachers.

I don’t really plan for this au to follow the exact same plot as Madoka Magica, but there are some similar story beats (Witches - Aka shadow knights, Time loops, a LOT of character death etc.)

(I also haven’t figured out who would get Kul’zak’s relic, but I was thinking Vylad would receive it later on)

While scouring the MCD wiki I cam into a fun issue. The Aphmau gang found a tomb that was essentially laid out to be Kul'Zaks tomb. The man's corpse and everything. Season 2, episode 68. Do you think that after Kul'Zak partially ripped out his relic (making it partial because the only way to remove a relic is by death or Irene) that Irene, Enki, and the current reincarnations of Menphia and Esmund planted a cover up?

I think the idea of Kul’Zak trying to remove his own relic is cool.

IIRC, Kul’Zak is the only one that canonically objected to what happened to Shad. Shad, who wasn’t just turned on by his friends, but had both his relic, and his body, torn to pieces to keep him weak.

I can imagine that sort of thing happening to your friend whilst you were powerless to stop it could be minorly traumatic. Why would you want to keep a reminder of what had happened embedded within you? Removing your relic in that situation would work well.

Snd I do think that’s something the other DW would really want to cover up if they knew about it. Enki would likely be away tending to ‘oh fuck gotta spread my friends relics and organs around the continent’ duties, but the others would for sure do all they could to prevent anyone finding out what happened to Kul’Zak. Even if it meant making it seem like it was a Shad-related injury.

However, I also like the idea of the relic fragment being Shad’s. In defence of his friend’s honour, Kul’Zak doing the most he could to keep some part of him safe and respected. No one would desecrate Kul’Zak’s tomb after all. So that way, he could not only protect that one part of his friend’s existence that he could, but he’d also get to keep him with him.

But that’s just bc my relic is heavily Shad-Centric, for a number of reasons. But I do love the idea of them being pals. Realm-travelling broskis vs the world, you knows

I think he was meant to either represent or be the reincarnation of Xavier the Admirer.

Xavier’s only really mentioned once pretty early on( to my knowledge), around the time we meet Dante Malachi and Lucinda I believe.

It’s said that he was Irene’s right hand guard, loved her so so much (hense the title), she didn’t feel the same way (sounding familiar?), AND he was the one who created the guard system.

In your AU have you included lore of the Divine Warriors? If so, could we get some info on it? I love hearing about the different interpretations. From the Guards' Tales it seems like Kul'zack and Menphia were a thing? Could we get details?

Of course! Here are a few snippets of lore!

Irene and Enki were siblings, with Irene being ten years older. They were from the Gal’ruk region, and were both witches descended from one of the original ten, Vaiya (this basically meant they could speak to Wyverns and use magic). Menphia was the daughter of another one of the original ten witches, Gaia. This also makes her the sister of all the Wyverns we meet in the original series!

Shad was the original king of Ru’aun. He was enamored with Irene from the moment he met her. They had one child together, Alina.

The Divine Warriors consisted of King Shad, Irene who had not yet actually married into the role of queen, her brother Enki who followed her everywhere, three of Shad’s guards, and one retainer. Esmund, Menphia, and Kul’zak were those guards. The retainer is an oc, Philomena. She makes up the last of the Divine Warriors.

Menphia and Kul’zak were actually not together. Something that’s very critical to the AU is that the Divine Relics corrupted absolutely. That’s why the Wyverns were hesitant to trust Irene with the knowledge of how to create them. The only thing that could help them resist this corruption was a relic known as a Heart. Kul’zak was one of the first to discard his heart to gain more power. His relic twisted him into a possessive man who felt like he deserved to own Menphia. That’s why he created her that sword— it was a display of his power over her. Kul’zak is unfortunately still alive in the modern era as he’s the infamous king of Tu’la.

Though, he certainly wasn’t corrupted the worst. Enki and Irene bore the brunt of the corruption, becoming the Demon Warlock and Shadow Lord respectively. Shad also got corrupted into the Demon King, but he was killed relatively quickly. Philomena, my OC warrior, is corrupted into the Ice Queen. She’s killed around 300 years prior to Aphmau’s time by Vylad’s paternal grandfather.

Menphia and Esmund were the only Divine Warriors who weren’t corrupted by their relics. Esmund passed his relic down to his son, and infused his Heart into Ru’aun itself (which is why loyal guards cannot be affected by corruption). Menphia noticed that she was close to being corrupted (and she hated her life controlled by Kul’zak) so she discarded her relic and her heart and absconded.

During the AU, Aphmau meets every single one of the Divine Warriors: besides Philomena, Esmund, and Shad. This is because those three are all dead by this point in the story.

i feel like The Divine concerts are always crazy as shit, theres always some drama or some stunt being pulled by the band or some crazy shit happens in the crowd due to lack of concert ettiquete

Irene has def played a surprise break up song which is her very clearly being petty about Shad. It comes out later that night that Shad and her got back together. She also seems like the type to give fans kisses, think Nana Osaki from the anime Nana type vibes. She’s also def done some VERY suggestive dances and acts while on stage and will continue to do them without shame. Shes probably also been on stage either drunk or high off som.

Kul’Zak decides to have a pre concert qna over on twitter or som which ends with him calling someone an idiotic bitch due to them running a fan account of him and treating him like hes an illiterate child instead of the full grown adult he is and getting cancelled (first time thats happened its ussally everyone else getting cancelled)

Enki posts a story of him in irenes dressing room with the caption “new things coming soon. . .” mid album tour before deleting it as it starts trending. Enki & Menphia got caught making out pre concert by a fan w a VIP w backstage access badge who took photos and posted them immediately after. Needless to say that person got kicked out pretty quickly.

if someone throws something on stage and menphia gets up and throws it back at them 10x harder because it almost hit someone on the head and shes getting real pissed of people throwing stuff on stage ( she also gets controversy over this because it did, indeed, hit the fan who threw it in the first place, not in the head but it still hit them )

i feel like this is probably someones (dont remember who) yung gravy garroth leaking into my view of esmund since garroth is esmunds descendant, but you cant tell me esmund hasent been handed and or thrown bras during concerts. he takes em and asks if their sure cuz he knows bras are expensive asf, but he takes em. ussally washes and donates them afterwards, but its always funny to hear him yell thank you over all the loud music, theres complilation videos of it happening

its happened once or twice that a fan manages to get on stage due to security lacking and nothing is more terrifying than watching a 6’9 Shad grab the person by the arm and DRAG them towards security if they manage to get too close to someone with a death stare. Shads a pretty big and strong guy and intimidating, and is absolutely TERRIFYING when he uses that to his advantage.
