It's been a long and tumultous road for 20th Century post buyout, but I'm glad to see the studio find its footing once more.

It's great to see all the big tentpole science fiction franchises of 20th Century Studios be critical and commercial successes.

Do you play? What's your favourite thing about the game? Stardew is absolutely one of my favourite games ever, it's my go-to when I need to destress and I almost always choose the foraging map hehe. 🌸 It's inspiring seeing how much thought and passion is put into each update, too.

Also, spring is officially here as of the 19th!! 🌱

I'm so happy that warmer weather is on its way. Here's a small spring-themed group from my junimo project~ Apparently I was only able to draw 7 out of 20 before life demanded my attention, I'd really like to pick it up again sometime.

Mae and Noa are not Disney-coded; they are clearly Ghibli-coded. Their journey reminds me a lot of the classic Studio Ghibli films, maybe also because of that wild and nature-filled setting, but mostly because the other day I thought of this scene from "Princess Mononoke" and it's literally them, and you can't deny it. I mean, I need fanart of this scene but with Nomae, someone please make it, that's all I'm asking for, I'm not a very greedy person, lol.

So, here is my contribution to the fandom. I am absolutely obsessed with these two and I am happy to consume any content involving them. I had been thinking about how this particular scene from Princess Mononoke represented Noa and Mae so much and then I saw another account mention the exact same thing. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (dir. Wes Ball).

[It] builds some great simian action with shades of historical religious wars and seeds the cyclical nature of humanity through its fleshed-out ape characters. However, once it firmly establishes an interesting direction, things veer into more conventional blockbuster fare while abandoning some of the compelling character motivations it so deliberately set up. It also sorely misses the heart Andy Serkis' expert digital performance brought the the cinematic table.
