Hello friends!

I regret to inform you that due to what is happening on Ao3, I have had to put all my fanfics hidden, that is, only available to those who have an account/are registered on Ao3.

It's so sad, I've already lost accounts on other platforms and I thought Ao3 would be a better backup for the nonsense I like to imagine and share...

For now, I can only apologize to you. And I recommend that you create an account to read, and for those who already have an account and publish on Ao3, protect your texts.

Many people say that "it doesn't matter" or that "they're just badly made fics", but it doesn't matter what others think, if you have fun creating and providing content to a fandom, it's valuable and you deserve to take care of it. You spent your time, energy, and imagination, and you deserve to appreciate it.

I have a lot of other fics to reupload after losing my blog, but I guess I'll have to wait.

This is just a notice for those who read me. Mainly for my sabolaw fics, which are meant to be fun and lighthearted... but that doesn't mean I want an AI taking up my time invested in my most personal hobby. The fun of creating fanfics is precisely writing what you imagine and sharing it. Using AI to "create" a fanfic takes all the fun out of it. At least for me.

First chapter is finally up and I hope you all enjoy this! I'm not used to writing, but I'm pretty happy with how this is going so far. It's more of a set-up chapter, and I held myself back a bit as I want to hit on some things in later chapters. I even already have some of Chapter 2 done, too! (Which is a lot of Sabo and Law interactions!)

8) do you get hate? not yet so far, surprisingly. maybe i just haven’t written enough but even with my drawings i’ve yet to encounter hate. i’ve dealt with it in the past though, so it doesn’t bother me much anyway

9) do you write smut? nope. i focus mostly on platonic and familial relationships since that’s what i’m more knowledgeable on, and it impacts me more. i’ve never had a true crush, never really dated, so i’m not sure how characters would act outside of being really close friends. i also just don’t like sex and having to read it

10) have you ever co-written a fic? not really haha !! i’ve made gifts and collaborated on aus, but i’ve yet to do anything more than that. collaborating seems sooo cool

11) all time favorite ship? ahhh that’s hard, i don’t focus much on them…… but if i had to choose, i’d say maybeeee. acelaw, sabolaw, or east blue polycule (<- my friends have seen me run my mouth about them)

12) wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will? aaah i have a lot !!!! a lot of them are works i’d gotten motivation for and then it either died out or i got a different idea, so it’s possible i may finish them, but they’ve been sitting there for a while. i guess one would be exploring asl’s first kills and how it affected them; i have ideas laid out for it but haven’t expanded on them. there’s also a babylu fic that ive written a good amount for but i haven’t been able to finish it !!! i want to so bad !!!!!

13) writing strengths? ummm. expressing the relationship/dynamics between characters ? i’ve been told i pull that off well, and i like to think im not terrible at it since it’s what i go crazy the most over lol

14) writing weaknesses? dialogue !!!! i haven’t written much action, but probably that too, and i sometimes worry about characterization and pacing. sometimes it’s hard to understand and/or think like a character to make their actions feel realistic……..

I was replying to someone on my Sabolaw fic on AO3 and I casually mentioned the idea of professor!Sabo. More specifically, English Professor!Sabo. I'm debating about their ages but feel free to imagine whatever you want! Just note they're all of legal age! Sabo teaches 'Introduction to English Literature' in a huge lecture theatre. He does not care who's an officially registered student and who's just here to hang out. He welcomes anyone willing to listen! He speaks casually, because he realises that's the most efficient way of communicating to students—both literature and otherwise. That made him a very beloved professor.

He does this for several years part time, alongside his regular work as a journalist and book writer. He loves talking to students in one-on-one consultations. He thrives on active participation, both from students and his TAs. Yapping is just as important as breathing! On a rainy day, the most sleep-deprived, pinnacle of idgaf-ism, sloppily-dressed guy Sabo had ever seen, walked into his lecture theatre forty-five minutes early with a cup of coffee.

"Hello!" Sabo says brightly. He turned to Sabo and blushed slightly. "How can I help you?"

This individual, Trafalgar Law, is pursuing a masters in medical humanities and is a TA. As always, Sabo's friendly and promises to help Law in whatever way he can. That said, he felt that Law's kind of a prick. Law's sullen and seems to have no opinion on anything other than the weather. Still, Sabo pushed on.

On the first lecture of the semester, Sabo makes every TA introduce themselves with their specialties. Everyone generously shared about their research and why they're doing what they're doing.

When it's Law's turn, Sabo was genuinely surprised to hear that Law had nothing to say other than his name and the fact that he's interested in the 'multi-disciplinary nature of medical humanities'.

"Can you elaborate?"

"I studied medicine in my undergraduate years with a minor in literature," Law said. This was clearly not in Law's script. "I wanted to be a surgeon, but I got disillusioned for lack of a better word."

"How so?"

Law blushed. "When I was a child, doctors refused me treatment for a fatal illness because they've been misled to believe that it is contagious, despite multiple papers proving otherwise. I want to change that. I don't like how hospitals discriminate against patients."

Law was soft spoken but Sabo knew everyone could hear him even without a microphone. Sabo appreciated his efficiency. They were slightly behind, actually. That was alright, Sabo thought, Law could speak up throughout the semester!

Law did not speak up. On his own free will, anyway.

Sabo knew Law was one of the few people who paid attention to every word he said. He wanted to hear Law talk for longer than a single sentence. That made Sabo try something relatively new. He usually respected students' wishes to keep to themselves.

"In The Sound and the Fury, William Faulkner features four eccentric narrators to tell us about the Compson family's fall from grace. Can anyone explain why he would do that?" Sabo waited. He knew that not many people would have read the novel in full.

"Law?" Sabo laughed when Law glared at him.

"I'm not sure, I never thought of that."

"Thirty seconds to think about it!"

Law spoke after thirty five seconds, "Having everyone be at least a little 'eccentric', as you put it, reminds us that mental illness manifests differently in different people."

Sabo nodded. The little shit clearly thought about it before.

"Well, doctor," Sabo loved how easily flustered Law got. "If they're unwell, how would you cure them?"

"They can't be cured," Law said decisively. "They're incurable to remind us that we are what we believe in. If you keep holding onto unhealthy principles, you'll end up traumatised and inarticulate. I think that's what Faulkner's trying to say."

Sabo found it cute that Law was still very clearly passionate about medicine despite being 'disillusioned'. He thanked Law for his answer and moved on. Despite Law glaring at him every time, Sabo still picked on him at least once every seminar.

On one hand, Sabo liked hearing Law speak and on the other hand, he thought Law's grumpy face was so dang cute.

The following year, on a similarly rainy day, Sabo found a pastry next to his briefcase and Law bowing slightly to greet him. To Sabo's surprise, Law was his TA again.

Law claimed it was because he needed the money, but Sabo knew Law liked him, if his nervous, somewhat embarrassed smile was anything to go by. At least, that was what Sabo thought since he was producing a similarly awkward smile. He thought a bespectacled Law was cute.

Things were better this time. Law stopped glaring whenever Sabo called on him and even indulged Sabo by speaking up first. He still spoke in less than five sentences, but Sabo realised Law was being efficient, rather than rude or shy. Again, Sabo thought Law was cute.

On the last day of the school term, Sabo ended the lecture early to let everyone go home to rush essays and study for exams. Just as he was packing up after answering a couple of last minute questions, he noticed Law walking up to him. That was new.

"Hi, Law! How may I help you?"

Law smiled. Sabo realised he had not seen Law smile at him before. "I'm finishing my masters paper soon and I'll graduate this summer."

"Congratulations!" Sabo was genuinely happy to hear that.

"Thank you for everything, Sabo," Law said. Law never addressed him by name before. He usually called Sabo, 'prof' or 'sir'. It was a nice touch, especially when he said it so warmly. Law gave him a piece of paper that was folded in half.

"What's this?"

"I wrote a question inside. You're not obliged to answer it, if you don't want to. It's quite personal and I understand if you're uncomfortable." Law stopped Sabo from opening it. "Not now. Maybe later today."

Sabo laughed. Students gave him anonymous questions before. "Sure! I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you for your help, Law! I enjoyed having you in class."

Sabo thought Law's bashful expression was particularly adorable. Law waved good bye and left. There was a good feeling left in the air.

Sabo was alone inside the lecture theatre. Not many people turned up today. It was warm and slightly humid outside. Sabo thought this would be a good time to have an impromptu picnic with his brothers. In that calm atmosphere, Sabo lightly peeled open Law's note, feeling oddly curious.

Sabo laughed out loud when he successfully deciphered Law's doctor handwriting.

"Would you go out with me?"

Hello! I've already answered in spanish a lot of questions about vampire AUs on my facebook. So I'm sharing some frequently asked questions here.

• Why is the fanfic called "Lucky One"?

I never know what to name the stories, sometimes I use random words. This title was a friend's idea, for a song she likes.

• Could you make everyone have relationships with each other?

I could, but I'm no longer interested in writing about sex, orgies or polygamy or infidelity. I just want cheesy, silly stuff. I'm aware that most people just want to read about sex and the more obscenities, better... or dramas that break your heart. But I got bored of that and of using complex vocabulary.

• What kind of world does the story take place in?

An alternate universe like our Earth. Similar to our world, with wars and events, but allowing for the existence of vampires as a secret for humanity.

• And those who know they exist?

Humans who have seen these creatures do not live to tell the tale...except for the Paranormal Research Association (A.I.P) who usually investigates without interfering, because they are at a disadvantage, even though they have the only "weapon" against them. The "D" lineage is hunters. I think I've already explained this.

• What are the vampires in this AU like?

By general definition, in this universe, a vampire is a supernatural being trapped in a certain time, converted or born, who must feed on blood to maintain his or her state of mind and vitality. Its way of surviving is based on adaptability, so it consumes, in addition to "life", the knowledge or skill it considers useful from another being. They are a distinctive species, predators that bore easily and "seem to have no weaknesses beyond their own kind."

• Why don't vampires declare their existence?

They're not interested. They don't see the need and find it counterproductive, since humans would find ways to destroy them, as they do with everything. For vampires, humans are a plague of destructive animals, who need to be hunted to maintain balance.

• Do vampires believe in God?

It depends on the clan and even the vampire. They don't guarantee its existence, nor do they guarantee its nonexistence. Whether it's real or not, he's left them to their own devices.

• Do vampires believe in hell or the soul?

It depends. Law personally doesn't believe in it, because he believes that if he had a soul, it would no longer have any value, and that if hell exists, there wouldn't be enough room for everyone who would go there, including himself. Law grew up in a religious environment, so he is pessimistic about the subject, but deep down he wants to keep his faith because it gives him the comfort that his human family is in a better place. He never says it.

• Why is it that when Law transforms Sabo into a vampire, his heart starts beating again, but then stops? Shouldn't it have stopped beating as soon as he transformed?

To turn a human into a vampire, the human must be almost dead, that is, he has already lost almost all his blood and upon receiving the "poison", that is, the vampire's blood, the human heart approaches and it leads to a stroke of life, that's why they refer to it as "the second death", since after that acceleration, the heart stops beating and they have a day of death, where they may or may not wake up. So if he wakes up he's a neophyte and there are no more heartbeats... and if he doesn't wake up, he's just another corpse.

• Did Sabo want to die or not?

When Sabo woke up it was because of the desire to return to his brothers, even though in life he had already accepted death, we noticed it in his thoughts, when he thinks he'll finally rest... but, Sabo, deep down, still had hope of returning, that's why, even in the inhuman state he was, Sabo seemed to be asking for help with her heartbeat. If you read the chapter, you'll realize it's his scent that's calling Law, but it's his heartbeat that makes him want to turn him. So even if Sabo said he wanted to die to stop his suffering, in reality his will to live was stronger.

• Why doesn't Sabo remember his human life?

In human life, Sabo already had memory problems and would shy away from his problems, forging happy memories and storing away the unhappy ones deeply, to the point of leaving them as unfounded "nightmares."

In more detail, let's say that when Sabo was alive he had a very complicated life, even though everyone would believe that being from a wealthy and important family would make his life easier. Sabo has memory problems because his way of dealing with what happens is to escape, As a child, his parents made him feel useless and replaceable, so Sabo understands that if he is not useful or causes problems, they will abandon him. This makes Sabo, unconsciously, and after his mother minimized and did not believe what happened, assume that he must keep quiet and endure for the good of others, which includes inventing realities and scenes that are very different from what is happening, so as not to think about what is happening. So their false and true memories often blend together, and when they wake up as a vampire, this trait isn't seen as "negative." and the transformation decided to leave it "on hold," that is, it hasn't been completely erased, it just doesn't know what memories to offer it. That's why he sometimes remembers his siblings or places, but not in detail. If you look closely, Ace arrives when he associates the words handsome or beautiful and also his voice in phrases, like when Zoro says "don't be soft" on Perona, obviously the memory of that takes him to Luffy, Because Sabo was always affectionate with Luffy and Luffy with him, just as Luffy's laughter is something that he does remember, his happy memories usually have Luffy.

• Is Sabo in love with Law?

Sabo isn't sure about this, and Law says it's just a whim. Sabo's personality is, in Law's own words, "too kind to have a long life." That is, he doesn't know how to limit his actions or thoughts. If he believes that doing something is better for his loved ones, he will do it without caring about the consequences for himself. You could say he's clumsy, optimistic, and tends to put himself at the bottom of the list of priorities. The relationship is complex, because both are melancholic beings with human traumas that they try to overcome. Although Law is happy when he feels he can take care of him, and at the same time control his life. Sabo is happy when he feels he makes Law happy. Sabo is obviously more stubborn and rebellious now than when he was alive... and Law encourages that because he likes to see him more aggressive. I guess Law wants me to be more jealous and territorial so that no one takes it away from him *lol*

• Why is Sabo the protagonist? I think the fanfic would be better if it was a Law x Luffy.

I respect that you like the popular ship, but I'm sure there are hundreds of Law and Luffy fanfics out there for you to read.

Beyond the obviousness of saying "because it's my story and I felt like it", it's a reason that goes with my love for the character and the way he adapts to the world. I chose him because I love his bright and loving personality, distracted at times, fickle when he is worried about his loved ones and even his aggressiveness when those he loves are offended. Does that sound too "perfect"? Sabo has that air of a gentleman, he is polite and kind, always distinguishing his beautiful heart; but, he is not perfect, he has memory problems, a broken mind and a great guilt, besides a childhood full of abuse and manipulation, of which the only good thing was when he escapes and lives in a dump -I mean the canon- and in the fic, Sabo keeps the characteristic of the abused and destroyed childhood, being his good memories the only thing he puts before. It is the self-deception, the smelly placebo that covers everything that, but still hidden stinks everything and seeks to tell him that everything would be over faster if he had the courage to face and hurt... or end his life. Where you see a "flat" and too "happy" character, there is a child who while suffering and crying, believing every insult that people who should love him told him, understood that he could not live if he did not obey, and if he was not what everyone asked for. THAT'S MY SABO. Wounded, lonely, full of shadows that light up in his virtues, like all of us, who only seeks to understand his place and be "useful".

• Does Law see Sabo as a replacement for Corazon? Or is Sabo better for Law?

This is how this false idea of comparison is formed, which from the first moment we see reflected in Law, seeing his blond hair, but, we also see Law himself saying that they are different. Cora-san and Sabo are sort of the archetype of the caring, pure-souled lover whose purpose seems to be the remembrance of a distant angel. But neither is. Cora-san also had a hard childhood -in the canon- and in the fic he was the youngest of a clan, destined for a political marriage, just as Sabo was destined for a wedding, and that would have ended up destroying their hearts. The greatest sin of both is "laziness", understood as their lack of struggle towards destiny; Sabo ran away from home but always came back, Cora-san needed his family, even after her father's trial.

Is that understood? Sabo and Cora-san are similar, but they are not the same entity. Law can't help the comparison, because he feels a great guilt too... and fear of losing again. but, you guys, you don't need to choose who is better. Neither one of you is better.

My headcanon is that they were secretly dating since they were young, before Sabo regained his memory and Law became a Warlord. So when Law helps Luffy he does it out of instinct, because he is a "D" but then he finds out that he is his brother-in-law. Now Law takes care of Luffy, because he knows that he is important to his beloved Sabo, and they got married in secret. They even adopted Roule. Anyway, my headcanons are for the games. I'll keep waiting for Law and Sabo to officially meet in the manga.

Day 07: "Free Day"

I'm going to take advantage of this day without a theme to share my ship: SaboLaw. I've had them a couple, since 2016, after playing One Piece Pirate Warrior III, You could say I've been here since the beginning, Of course we had no content or material, even today it is not so popular, although it got a big push after the Stampede movie in 2019, the same year I played One Piece World Seeker and added a new headcanon: Roule is the son of Law and Sabo. I should clarify that saying that I added a headcanon refers to my headcanons, not to a fandom or community, since I do not belong to any group of that kind.

I'm just a Spanish speaker and writer, so I've been contributing to blogs and, formerly, Wattpad for years. I lost my blog and many stories, I like Alternate Universes because I can make romantic comedies, with a silly humor that many people think is stupid. Last year I started uploading fanfics to Ao3, and I also translated them into English at the request of two Tumblr friends... Right now I'm using Translator and I usually publish in this language, but I am from Chile.

I don't have the talent to draw, so I only illustrated my fanfics with my sims... Although I also belong to other fandoms, I have always considered this couple as my favorite place. Maybe it's because I need more people to love it... I don't know.

Finally, I want to thank all the artists, fans, and people who like SaboLaw. You don't know how nice it is, after years of being very alone, to find content from my ship. And obviously thanks to whoever organized this week, I had fun and admired a lot of art.
