You then hear D make a gulp sound while he tries to glance back at you. You had your usual sweet smile on your dermas while you stared down at him.

”I better be hearing a click soon. Or else I’ll have to tease you as punishment.”

You teased. Only to hear the clock of his panel very soon. One of your cervos moving from his waist to over his stomach from his front. It sliding down to press your digits against the folds of his valve.

Making him moan and shiver. He was already soaking.

You soon got on your knees, your cervo returning to hold his waist. Before sitting on your aft. He stood between your legs until you moved him along with you to be just above your spike.

Gently placing you on and sliding your spike through his folds. He let out a loud moan.

Continueing until his aft finally meets your hips. Your cervos sliding to grip his hips. You continue to sit up. Leaning forward a little to kiss his shoulder and the back of his neck.

Gently whispering shh shh next to his audio sensors.

His valve trying to adjust to your spike which was a little larger than his own.

After a few moments, D eventually gave the nod. Trying to form his words as he glanced back at you. “Promise you won’t be too rough?”

You let out a deep chuckle and kissed the side of his helm. Pulling his frame against your own as you keep holding your hips. With your strength. You moved his frame up and down nicely on your spike.

His own cervos pressed against your arms.

Moving him up and down nice and slow. You know he hates it when things are slow.

You can tell he was becoming impatient. His legs shaking while he continued to glance back at you. Your smile never has gone away. D then struggled with his words a little. Wanting just a little bit of control.

“Please….please…just a little more control…”

You can see the desperation in his optics. You can never say no to that face. And so slowing down the paste. You let him go for a moment. He lifted himself up and turned around.

Getting back on your lap, letting his spike slide right back in.

Your cervos returned to his hips with him now facing you. His arms move around your neck. A small smile on both of your dermas. Look into each other's optics before starting a soft make-out session.

His knees against the floor to help him start moving up and down on your spike. You both moan in the kiss with your optics closed. Your arms move around his waist to hold him close. Soon, to no one's surprise.

He soon started to take control while you were in the moment.

He was fast to push you back. Him on top and his hips moving faster on your spike.

Both of your moans get louder and D gets faster. You soon felt that strong feeling in your lower abdomen. This was going to be a long night.

A couple of hours later, after a good few rounds. D was nice and full with your load. He was currently sitting up.

Still on your hips while your cervos were gripping his thighs, you both took a moment to gather yourself. All out of stamina and cum leaking from Ds valve.

He asked without finishing.

”I’ll turn into a shovel. And Beat him.” He finished. Causing you both to chuckle as you slowly sit up. You both share a kiss once more. Enjoying the moment together a little while longer.

A few months went by. D was with sparkling. Your sparkling of course. You made sure to take good care of D along with Orion. Your two current sparkling always either sleeping or eating energon.

And so the days went. Your sparkling with D was born. He was a perfect mix of both you and D.

He had your frame plates and D colors. His Optics were yellow like Ds.

Your family with your two Conjunx was complete. And you couldn’t be any happier.

1- Since they are all really human looking (although i should design more animal-folk) I think giving them animal like behaviours would balance some stuff right? But lets add human elements to it!

So only the wealthy or people with relaxed jobs (like artists, musicians etc.) would get to hibernate, while the common folk needs to work. But I feel like most would be understanding of certain speacies becoming less active during those times!

2- All kinds of animal folk could exist in this world. But those from the arctic and the desert only live in Kallamar's kingdom because they come from outside the 5 kingdoms with ships.

3- Havent thought about mystic seller yet

4- Yes! Forneus is the duchess of the strongest family in Narinder's kingdom and she fully supports Narinder.

5- Aquatic-folk and flying-folk would have like diffrent and stronger lungs.

Aquatic-folk can always live in both the land and in the water (most prefer land)

Flying-folk, depending on the speacies, have wings for arms (birds) or wings on their back (bees).

All of the animal-folk can cross breed and the child would strongly result with the look of one parent while having some little aspects of the other parent. (Lets think it like a beetle x dog = a fluffy beetle or a dog with beetle fangs or horns)

Even tho it is not forbidden to cross-breed, its mostly looked down upon so they arent that common.

This man is SO affectionate. He's touchy, handsy, loves to sit and listen to you chat about your day, and sharing his with yours. Dinners, presents, acts of service and physical touch are all ways he loves to show affection.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

As a friend, Street would go to the ends of the earth for you. Anything you needed or wanted, he's there to help. A shoulder to cry on, someone to ask for advice, he's there. You probably would have met him through mutual friends, and he was drawn to you instantly.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

This man is a cuddle bug. Arms around you, head on yours, buried under the covers with him and sharing body heat. He loves to have a hand on you at all times.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He would love to settle down eventually. It isn't anything he's in a rush for but he definitely wants to settle with you. He wouldn't mind at all cooking and cleaning, he loves the normalcy, the domestic feel. Being a father, parenting with you? A dream.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

If he didn't want to be with you anymore, he isn't going to hide things. He'll be honest and open, that you deserve better. But he also isn't going to give up without a fight, unless there's nothing more that can be done.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

If he loves you and knows you're his "one", he's all in. A ring, a wedding, building a home with you. That's his goal. He won't rush it, but he certainly won't hold back on home much he needs you.

Literally a big soft bear. He won't ever hurt you, not in anyway if he can help it. Soft kisses, big hugs, hands caressing you. He hates fighting, you won't see him ever raise his voice at you.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

HE ADORES HUGGING YOU. Literally would sit there with his arms around you 24/7 if he can help it. He loves feeling your body against his, your scent and warmth evading his senses.

It might be a bit fast, but if he knows he loves you he won't be able to hold back those words for long. He'd probably let it slip without a second thought, just saying it in passing. But when he realizes it came out of his mouth and you said it back so fast, he's ready to jump and scream it to the world.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

This is a tough one. I feel like if he saw you with someone else before he asked you out, he'd be a little upset. But when he has you in his arms, he knows you're his and vice versa, I don't think he'd be too jealous.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

The slowest, most sensual kisses. Hands cupping your face, body pressed to yours, his tongue tracing and teasing your bottom lip. He loves kissing your cheeks and nose, your forehead. He loves it when you kiss his cheek.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He's an expert at kids, for never having them. He knows how to talk to them, get them to open up and communicate. And he loves them!

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He loves making you breakfast and curling up in bed with you, watching TV or talking before he has to go to work. He needs to take that time to have one on one moments before his shifts.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Either you or him making dinner, sitting and making time to discuss how each other's days went, if something upsetting happened and one of you needs to talk about it. If not talking about work, you guys have so much in common you'd be discussing. Or sometimes just sitting in silence, comforted by one another.

Street is an open, honest person. It would take some time to talk about his past, but he wouldn't be shy about it by any means. It's life, it happened, it is what it is. Plus, it's made him who he is.

It takes a lot to rile him up or upset him. He's a very steady person, and it would take a lot other get him to snap and grow impatient with you.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He is a sucker for details. You mention a favorite food, color, music, TV show, whatever, he's sticking it in a corner of his mind. If he sees something that reminds him of you that the knows you'd love, he's on it.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

The moment he meant you. He knew you were something special, something amazing, and he wasn't going to give up until you were his.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He's protective over everyone close to him, you more so than anyone else. Someone looks at you wrong, someone's giving you the creeps, he's on it and making himself a barrier.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He tries his best. Sometimes he gets busy and can't be there when he wants, but he remembers the important things and is always going all out for it.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Not asking for help. He doesn't like to bother you with issues, so sometimes he tries to handle things on his own. When he finally opens up, he's apologizing for it sincerely.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He works out for his job, of course, but otherwise he doesn't care too much. He just wants to make sure he's healthy for the job.

Absolutely. You're his whole world, and if he doesn't have you he feels lost.

I mean, there’s this one line that people portray in so many ways, but you watch how Zeus interacts with her and recall the fact that he literally didn’t want her to live when she was conceived- he is SUCH a bully and her respect only stems from him being ‘king of the gods’.

None of the gods step in during God Games. At no point does anyone go “dad you can’t threaten your daughter because she did exactly what you asked her to do”. Not even ARES.

He’s the one who says, mortified, “is she dead?” So he didn’t WANT that turn of events. He cares about her and her state of being.

She’s the only one willing to challenge Zeus and he literally says, “you won, I don’t care, I’m going to heavily punish you because I’m unhappy that you said a true statement I didn’t like”

I've no respect for bullies, those who impose their will I've seen plenty enough to truly understand this kind of filth

Time skip: the way that Athena talks to Telemachus says that she’s been stewing in regret because she KNOWS they were good friends and she didn’t want to admit it to herself. She understands why they clashed and now she doesn’t know what to do about it.

So this kid is like “I think you should help him even if he hates you. If he won’t accept your friendship then I’ll be here waiting.”

AND THAT’S LITERALLY EXACTLY WHAT SHE NEEDED TO HEAR?

I’m a sucker for ‘doing everything for the people you care about but platonically’ and Athena is the PICTURE of ‘oh wait I would platonically die for my friend’ and like?? That’s beautiful??? 😭

My only qualm with EPIC is the way that the Ithaca Saga handled Athena because you cannot convince me that it did not do her dirty. I have read and scrolled and chewed on all the arguments.

That was not a “oh yeah we can be friends later” very well.

That’s a voice cracking, heartbroken: “I took a thunderbolt for you and you don’t want me in your life” very well. LIKE.

Yes. Oddy went through a lot. No denying that.

But he called out for HER. After everything, he called out for HER HELP. Showed a belief in her. Counted on her to save him

AND SHE DID WHAT HE NEEDED. TOOK A THUNDERBOLT. BEGGED ON HER KNEES WHILE SUFFERING AND IN AGONY.

I can't help but wonder What this world could be If we all held each other with a bit more empathy I can't help but feel like I led you astray What if there's a world where we don't have to live this way?

There was no reason, no obligation, nothing but her love and affection for him that drew her to take that punishment from Zeus.

She’s literally saying she messed up. She wants to mend their relationship. She wants to do better for him.

He could have said, “I’m not a man who does empathy anymore but we can try” instead of “I have other plans, gonna have to miss this friendship train” because that is an awful diss. Straight painful.

This amazing song did her so dirty and I will never get over it.

Thank goodness for Telemachus. She’ll needs his optimism and joy and willing friendship after the sting from that bite.

DEFINITELY WILFORD Or William whichever one people like to call him more. I like him because even though he’s like weird as hell he’s also pretty sweet and whatever like he’s got this really cool duality to him and I love dualities in general.

One of my favorite things about him that I don’t really see that many people talking about (hopefully cuz I’m looking in the wrong places) is like HOW he changed from wkm to wmlw.

OBVIOUSLY when we see will go insane after wkm we’re like, “yeah that’s the change he’s just crazy now” And there’s not much further to go into cuz you already get the big picture you don’t have to go in depth to understand more that he’s not all there.

But if you do go into depth for him, you kinda notice that after wkm he regresses, stays the same AND grows all at the same time which I appreciate cuz that’s VERY realistic I’m like wow :DD

Regressions:

He witnessed a very anomalous thing of the DA and Damien and Abe and mark surviving thru things that definitely should’ve killed them (it did kill some of them but I’m sure Wilford never realized except for the DA). This messed up his interperatation of death to the point where he believes that sometimes people just come back to life like cockroaches or something. This makes him more prone to doing destructive and violent things cuz he thinks everything is a damn game.

TLDR his regressions are being more violent and more ignorant about other peoples safety

Stays the same:

Through wmlw and wkm he still holds the idea of like “life needs a bit of madness” so he still likes his absurdism. In the ddlc poems he says that it took a while to realize the world was “full of pricks” but I think he still operated like that back in wkm, he just didn’t ever consciously realize it. He’s still temperamental but to a lesser degree. He still likes being a jolly old chap ermmmm yeah

Oh yeah and he still drowns in his own denial and he knows it but that terrible guilt is something he just lives with like whatever

Growth:

After realizing everyone sucks he dawns this moral code of optimistic nihilism. If nothing in life makes sense and he can’t control what he doesn’t understand then he just appreciates life for what it is.

He also grows to become more understanding, cuz I’m wmlw when he sees that Abe is struggling to grasp onto his directionless reality, Wilford doesn’t just leave him like that with nothing to hold onto. he stops cuz he realizes he’s overwhelming Abe, he finds a way to relate to him with him saying “it was a bit of a Shock for me, too” and then gives Abe something that he’s familiar with, a direction to just “have fun” ISNT THAT SO BITTERSWEET UGH.

He says in Adwm that he’s “a forgiving person” i like thinking of that line as a Freudian slip. it’s not like he has that many things that he knows he should be forgiving for, but there are a lot of things that he wants people to forgive HIM for. I THINK this is a growth cuz he was pretty crazy about not wanting to feel like he was in the wrong and not caring at all about what anybody else thinks in wkm.

He’s apologized to like, Abe, the viewer, maybe like SOME other dudes not that much whatever but I like thinking he really wants to see mark again to apologize to him but that’ll probably NEVER HAPPPENN IN A GOOD NARRATIVE SENSE

He did see mark in the warfstache interviews Markiplier thing tho and tbh it feels like big brother doesn’t care about little brother for 5 minutes except for the part where he literally kills him. Again.

im not warning for spoilers because im too tired to do that LMAOO but im putting most of this under the read more

So i saw one of ur reblogs to my reblog of ur reblog (a lot of reblog there) and i was like. Im gonna ramble again!! Mostly ab Sif’s wings!! So ya!!

No, Siffrin does not like his wings. They view them as a burden, as he can’t use them to fly, glide, or anything, and for other reasons. One of those being the fact that it’s a connection to the King, as he has wings too. But, it’s also not just with the fact that they’re just there, no, it’s also appearance wise. Their wings have shades suspiciously close to the shades the King’s wings once were before he was frozen in time. I WONDER WHY!! bats my eyes at you aggressively

Siffrin has trust problems when it comes to his wings, too. He’s so ashamed of them that he doesn’t let anyone outside his family see them, and even then that’s iffy on some days. Only a select few can even touch their wings without asking, those people being Isabeau, Loop, Colette, Léonce and Lucien.

Due to this hatred for his wings, Siffrin hardly takes care of them on some days. The only reason he does on most days is because Odile told him to, and Siffrin’s a sheep most of the time, not a shepherd (ouch, sorry Siffrin… LMAO). And when they don’t want to, then Léonce and/or Loop help him with it.

Sure, Isabeau thinks Siffrin’s wings are very cute, and yeah, it helps a little, but it doesn’t fix Siffrin’s insecurity and loathing of them. Siffrin’s self-hatred runs very deep, but, if you want a good side, it doesn’t run so deep that Siffrin would consider getting rid of them. That’d be severing one of the last links he has to his home, and that’s the last thing they want to do.

A. TIME FOR FLUFF!! Grabs you by the shoulders. Since Siffrin has wings, that means that normal clothing… really wouldn’t work for him. Before the events of IBaS,iTaT!ISAT, Siffrin stuck with cutting wing holes into his shirts, but after the loops, Isabeau began helping Siffrin with that, so now, most of Siffrin’s shirts and such are made by Isabeau. Isabeau has offered to do the same for Loop but Loop very quickly denied it and said they’re fine and they don’t need anything when they can steal from Siffrin. Which… is true. They do that sometimes LMAO.

Im giving you more fluff to balance out the angst. I did some thinking a few days ago and decided THIS!!!: Siffrin washed up in Vaugarde at 16 and Léonce found him (already canon) - they very very likely legally adopted him (translation: she did) since he was a child at the time and yk that child needed a guardian, (and fuck, sometimes he still does have you SEEN the stuff he gets into sometimes?) and well, they stuck to her like glue. Léonce’s last name is Aveline, and by proxy, that became Siffrin’s last name. So, technically, Siffrin does have a last name, which is Aveline. I really need to write a scene where Léonce full-names Siffrin in a tone of an annoyed mom 💀 (“SIFFRIN AVELINE.” LMAOO)

Due to the loops, Siffrin totally forgot about this until he went to Kaia with the party. Then he remembered. He has yet to even bring it up with the rest of the group but Odile has pieced things together based on observations of how Léonce treats Siffrin god awfully like a child of her own… so has Isabeau… but the others remain unknowing LOL

curious abt your bird headcannons for Ron and Desirée DeLite 👀👀👀 i feel like having Ron be one of those little birds that make a huge fuss to scare predators away and Desirée being a bird of prey would work well for their whole dynamic lol

keeping you guys on ur toes !!! ,, i reversed the roles :PPP (though i def see where u guys are coming from and respect the ideas too!!! o7777),,, i think ron fits as a bird of prey that isnt taken too seriously, and i think des it so sweet she’s gotta be harmless,, plus i think a common swift fits her lifestyle (spending habits could be seen as always quickly moving onto the next thing) (ALSO !! swifts are so rare to see up close since they're always flying,, she's a real catch) (honorable mentions later)

i like the hummingbird idea :DD,, i admittedly don’t know much about hummingbirds,, but one think i do know is they’re very territorial and aggressive LMAO,, SOO this choice is based of vibes (and their speed)‼️‼️ cutesy, fluttery, pretty, and high energy !!!! i also think it’s neat to give a circus circus performer a bird with very good aerial control ! a bit unfortunate that regina doesn’t get the super bright colors of the male hummingbirds,, but rufous females are still pretty colorful :3 (is mtf regina a hc??? that would be cool….)

ok honorable mentions ! for ron,, i started my search with little birds that make a big fuss like you suggested !! ,, which there’s a bunch of,, eventually i started heading in the direction of “birds that camouflage themselves as predators” (which, btw, the pygmy owl has a set of large false eyes on the back of its head in a similar vein ):33),, before eventually deciding on simply a small owl that people would probably look at and think “awww, cute”

No but seriously this is probably gonna be wicked long cause I have 1 million thoughts about these guys joining and meeting each other so uh, readmore for everybody’s safety and sanity

yeah no kidding, this is like a fucking essay so proceed with caution)

OKAY SO

I’ve said before that Nightmare got Dust for two reasons; one being that Dream had just recently started working with Ink (and soon Blue) so he and Killer were no longer able to gang up on Dream. He wanted somebody else to bulk up their numbers and give Killer a little back up. He also was starting to realise that Killer didn’t handle being alone very well, since this was when he most often got worked up and broke things around the castle (and sometimes tipped over into stage 3). Dust would be a perfect fit since he had the same amount of lvl and fighting experience as Killer, and since they were so close in circumstance they would be practically like brothers right?

The irony that he thought this about a guy he was recruiting to help kill his brother was apparently lost on him.

They absolutely hated each other. Like, it was instant. Killer saw him as a replacement, why would boss go out and get another sans - one with almost the same backstory as me - when I’m right here? Does he think I’m not good enough? Am I disposable and this is the backup for when I die in combat? He didn’t take it well. He took it all out on Dust too, not cooperating in battle, trying to start fights in the castle, etc. He couldn’t outright kill him because Nightmare had given him strict orders not to, but Killer loves a loophole. If he roughed Dust up down to 1hp and something else happened to finish him off, technically he’d followed orders.

Dust just straight up didn’t want to be there. Nightmare just showing up and yoinking him had worked fine with Killer, but Dust had wanted to sit in his empty au and die, he had no intention of joining a team or doing work of any kind - good or bad. The only reason he didn’t just lie down and refuse the entire time was that he had to fight back against Killer, as much as he wanted to die he refused to give this ass the satisfaction or lvl. He didn’t intend to be any help out in the field either, but again, Killer was making sure he got fired at so he had to retaliate to stay alive.

Eventually it got bad enough that Nightmare had to pull Killer aside and demand answers. In the year or so of knowing him Killer had never willfully disobeyed orders before, so Nightmare needed to know what had gotten into him. He dispelled the replacement rumour right away, he still wasn’t quite softened up enough to be sappy about it but he made sure Killer understood what a good worker he was and that Nightmare had no intention of losing him. It didn’t help a lot, they still hated each other for other reasons, but it eased a little.

Killer still had pretty frequent dips into stage 3, except now he would go straight for Dust usually. Nightmare had tried to explain what he’d learned about it to Dust, but he didn’t really believe that it wasn’t just Killer deciding to try and kill him for funsies. He only accepted it after a particular episode where he attacked Nightmare instead, which Dust knew Killer wouldn’t try in his right mind.

After he came back to his senses he sought Dust out. The air around Killer was very different after a stage 3, sort of sombre and almost calm, so Dust let them sit together and Killer apologised for giving him such a hard time. They actually talked for the first time in months while Killer was still calm (or tolerable, as Dust describes it), and it didn’t magically fix everything but, things were a little better. They still fought and argued and bothered each other but it wasn’t as sharp, there was a lack of real murderous intent in it all, and sometimes after an episode they would talk a little bit. It was the best Nightmare was going to get for now, so he took it.

They were still completely incompetent about taking care of themselves though. Neither of them would eat unless prompted and Nightmare didn’t have good enough knowledge of mortals to know when that should be to stop them passing out from hunger on the job. Not to mention the stars were now a full team, and with the way Killer and Dust would sometimes rather target each other on the field he could do with more backup.

Horror was the first of the group to get a choice in joining. Nightmare had taken note of how much Dust didn’t want to be part of things, and while it was in his best interests in the long run given his situation, Horror’s au was still mostly intact - though a little in disrepair. Horror was also the first in the group to have a good (and ongoing) relationship with his brother, so Nightmare knew he couldn’t just pop in and steal him, he had to be a bit more diplomatic with this one and offer a deal.

He gave Horror some time to think on his proposal - he would set up regular deliveries of food to Horror’s au in exchange for him joining their team - and was quite surprised when Horror agreed, with some stipulations. Horror was equally surprised when Nightmare agreed so easily to his terms (that he didn’t want his brother to know what he’d be doing, and that he wouldn’t kill). A little down the line the terms were altered to add that he would also be left to visit his au every week or so.

Horror was not impressed meeting the other two. He didn’t need his power as judge anymore to sense the lvl coming off them both, and given who they were working for he was instantly distrustful of them both (the uh, brother situation did not help). He was also in a place that had an abundance of food for the first time in probably years, so he was doing a lot of going hog wild in the kitchen and then getting very sick as a result.

Dust didn’t particularly feel anything for him. This guy hated him, sure, but it wasn’t forward and slashy like with Killer, it was just quiet loathing which was fine. That’s how Dust felt about himself so, y’know, mood. He did kind of feel sorry for him though, not just because of the whole famine and everything, but also because he was watching this guy eat like his life depended on it and then get sick and undo it day after day. He was the one who suggested Horror getting his food in moderation to Nightmare, which did help but was an absolute ordeal to enforce. Y’know how some people get hangry? Imagine that but you haven’t had a proper meal in years and now these people give you tiny amounts of food and don’t let you eat more for hours. The hunger mood swings were a sight to behold, you would never have guessed in those days that Horror specified not wanting to kill.

When his ability to eat had evened out and he was in better shape, Horror made a point of apologising to Dust for being aggressive with him. Over time he’d kind of softened up on him from his initial impression, since he could see plainly how wracked with guilt Dust was over his situation. It was a little easier to imagine that whatever he’d done was truly out of desperation and not just for fun, as Horror had assumed at first sight. 

They also both retained that classic sans laziness, so it was easy for them to share a space while saying and doing nothing. It made Horror the first person that Dust willingly spent time around in the castle (and vice versa since Horror was still largely suspicious of Nightmare and Killer - the deal seemed too good to be true and the stage 3 episodes didn’t help). As time went on, Horror kind of became Dust’s emotional support skeleton in a way. Dust had become quite averse to touch in his solitude and Horror very slowly brought him back out with casual gentle touches, until not only did he no longer freeze or stiffen at being grabbed but Dust would seek him out to flop next to on the couch. Horror claimed it was just returning the favour for helping with his eating situation, but really it was nice to have something resembling a friend here.

Killer, for his part, was going through This is My Replacement 2: Electric Boogaloo. Not to the same degree as with Dust, since Horror was quite a bit different, but Killer was still wary of this new addition. He didn’t really instigate anything though since, to be honest, Horror had the intimidation factor. He was like a foot taller than both of them, he had a cracked skull and completely different magic and it seemed like every time Killer saw him he was eating bread like a wolf eats a deer. So while he was going through his food moderating, Killer mostly just stayed quiet and kept his distance.

Horror had not softened on him like he had with Dust, since Killer didn’t openly show remorse. He still watched him with distrust, especially after seeing the way he scrapped with Dust for seemingly no reason other than for violence’s sake. Killer was still mostly targeting Dust in his stage 3s, but Horror had to be careful to stay out of his way since he was still working with much lower hp than the other two. What did start to convince him was seeing how similar Killer and Dust were after a stage 3 episode. Once Killer was slightly more composed (ie stopped crying), he became so tired and quiet and blunt about things he normally joked his way around. It was a little startling, but also started to bring Horror around to the idea that Killer might regret his actions too, just buried under several layers of whatever the hell is also wrong with him at any given time.

Killer and Horror only really started interacting after talking about Dust. Killer was asking how he got Dust to like him since he seems to hate everyone and everything else, Horror told him very pointedly it was because he wasn’t trying to kill Dust. Killer admitted he wasn’t trying to kill Dust, at least not anymore, he just wanted to fight for fun. It opened up a better channel of understanding, knowing that Killer did not actually have murderous intent behind his swings (stage 3 notwithstanding). It made it easier for Horror to occasionally get involved in the roughhousing which Killer delighted in, knowing that the other two knew how to hold back enough to keep him from dusting.

Speaking of stage 3, it was around this time that Killer and Dust made a very important deal. After a particularly rough episode with a little too close of a call, Killer showed up in Dust’s room and begged him shakily to make a promise - that if he ever got too out of control during one of his stages, Dust would kill him. He’d been told over and over by Nightmare that it was impossible for Killer to hurt him since he was immortal, but now there were more people around him where that wasn’t the case, and he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he came out of a stage and found himself alone. Dust promised.

It’s also worth mentioning that, once they were all close enough to be on speaking terms, Horror started bullying the shit out of these two about eating. Now that Horror knew neither of them were going to kill him, he felt safe enough to pick them up by the scruff and set them at the table to say they weren’t leaving until they had at least a snack. He let them pick what they would eat - he wasn’t that cruel about it - but he had to see them eat at least 3 times a day or they would hear about it.

It was by no means perfect or regular, but after about half a year Nightmare finally had henchmen who ate food and worked together (mostly).

Now here’s the problem… I still haven’t really figured out how or why Cross joined the team. Like, obviously there’s some kind of point in the events of underverse where it splits off into an alternate timeline, but I haven’t really figured out where yet so. Leave that one with me just a little longer. Cross joins.

Nightmare really truly didn’t intend to take anyone else in. They were (mostly) getting along, they were pretty well matched to fight the stars, he had no need of more mortals.

…but he was also pretty soft at this point. Every one of them had taken a blow to his I’m immortal I’m an island I don’t get attached to others persona and he’d gotten pretty damn fond of them all. This was why when he felt the sheer weight of loneliness radiating off of Cross, he just couldn’t bring himself to leave him.

So Cross entered the castle. 

He did not particularly intend to stay or make friends, he was trying to get his world back and nothing more. He even revealed a little down the line that he outright refused to kill, and was quite surprised to find that Nightmare was fine with that. At the start he was polite but not friendly with the others and mostly kept to himself.

Dust, as is often the case, did not really have an opinion. Another new guy, this one was self sufficient and didn’t bother him so he had no reason to get involved. He was content to be in the same room as Cross but didn’t start up any conversations.

Horror felt the need to speak to Cross, since Dust would happily stay silent for years and Killer was, well, Killer. Horror was somehow the closest thing to normal they had, so he was the one that made small talk. Mostly asking what Cross would like for meals and encouraging him to pick something he liked when he got the answer of “anything is fine”. As Cross settled in a bit more and actually opened up, they bonded over being the only two to enjoy food. Horror made a point of adding chocolate to the stock they kept in the kitchen and making tacos here and there for Cross.

Horror was also the first Cross kind of warmed to, mostly because he was the one devoid of lvl and Nightmare had mentioned he’d also said he wouldn’t kill. Learning a little about his au’s situation only softened Cross to him more, especially seeing that he still cared a lot for his brother and was trying to protect his home (even if Cross found it unthinkable that he lived away from it). It was through Horror that he also got accustomed to Dust, how being quiet and distant was kind of his default and that he also felt deeply haunted by the loss of his world. They weren’t exactly friends, but it was comfortable enough.

So now boss had taken in another new person, someone who takes orders like a soldier and fights with knives and ruthless precision and aims to be his righthand man, and Killer was ecstatic. By now he’d mostly put his fears of being disposable behind him, Nightmare had gotten a bit less subtle in showing how important they all were to him and Killer felt confident he wouldn’t be replaced. Which was a little bit funny, because the only guy he didn’t feel threatened by was the one who absolutely competed for his spot.

Cross needed to prove he was useful, he had to feel like he earned his keep and that all the training and suffering he’d done was for a reason. When Nightmare sent them on missions, Cross aimed to be the fastest and the most efficient and to report to Nightmare without question. Horror and Dust looking on would have expected Killer to see this 100% as a threat to his position as (self proclaimed) Nightmare’s second in command, and to go for this guy’s throat when nobody else was around.

But Killer was fascinated. Cross was completely different from any of them, bar Nightmare whose au is a whole different kettle of fish, so he had a certain element of unpredictability to him. Horror and Dust were both based on classic sans just like him, so to a certain degree he knew how they would feel about most things and what they might say, the only differences being in what they had experienced through their own timelines. Cross was based on a swap sans and his au had taken wild twists and turns away from usual events, so Killer had to learn everything about him by poking and prodding for answers or observing from a distance, much like back when it was just him and Nightmare. Cross was something new to be studied and Killer loved taking notes.

Cross did not see this as friendly. He was competing with Killer for approval, not realising Killer was playing their contest like a game. When he saw Cross training he would jump in to spar for fun, but Cross saw his rival trying to get a jump on him and take him out of the running. When Killer would hang around and pester Cross in their off time with questions, it didn’t seem like someone taking interest, it seemed like someone being nosy and looking for weaknesses to exploit. When Horror mentioned that Killer was being surprisingly contained and friendly, Cross really thought he was fucking with him.

The first time Cross was willing to even consider this was the case was when his locket came loose on the field and Killer ran back to find it, since one of the notes he’d taken was how the locket wasn’t something Cross would play about (the same as Horror with food). It didn’t make sense for someone who was seriously competing to have him kicked out to just hand his necklace back, no ransoms or attempts to crush it to upset him, just some vague remark about “owing him one” and then right back to Nightmare for orders.

Cross had to give him something of a chance after that, Horror helped a lot by telling him “he doesn’t want to hurt you, he just doesn’t know how to be normal”. It was mostly a playful jab at Killer, but reframing their interactions changed it significantly for Cross. Now they were sparring playfully and having friendly competition on jobs. He wasn’t as put off when Killer went into stage 3 because he knew he could match him in combat and the others were always on hand to help restrain or distract him. Cross also took note of how Killer calmed down a lot for physical touch, not unlike how Dust had warmed up to Horror. It went a long way into not only making him a little less combative for attention every day, but it seemed to put longer stretches between his episodes (which Cross had also started tracking so they wouldn’t be caught out by them as much).

For his part, Killer has disobeyed instructions in the past to benefit Cross, usually ignoring the task to help him if he’s hurt. He’s also given Nightmare nudges towards praising him because he’s noted that that’s what Cross needs in the same way he needs touch (not that Nightmare doesn’t praise them normally, but when Cross is going through it and needs something). He also doesn’t particularly like chocolate but has made a point of not admitting this to Horror so he can give his chocolate to Cross.

(It’s also worth noting that Cross is the only one, besides Nightmare, that has been to Horror’s au. He offered to help out during the food delivery and got to meet Horror’s Papyrus (who he is a little intimidated by but ultimately friendly with, even though it’s a little weird since he’s a good bit different from his own Papyrus). Dust and Killer can’t really visit for a few reasons, mostly because everyone will notice their lvl immediately and know what they’ve done. Dust especially doesn’t know how he would react to having a Papyrus in front of him again and doesn’t want to put Horror's family at risk to find out. Whenever he visits, his Papyrus asks about Cross now and sometimes tries to make tacos for him (key word tries, he’s still a Papyrus after all). He may have joked that seeing Cross sometimes is “like having another brother but younger and less lazy” and when Horror told him this Cross may or may not have cried.)

And that’s where we are now!

They’re a very strange group who’ve been through some inexplicable events and have all changed each other in one way or another. And whether or not it can be admitted, they are a family c:

SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP THEY DID MY GIRL SO DIRTY there are so many. good river song moments. and there are so manythat make me want to tear a strip off steven moffat like every goddamn episode with her they have to make some obnoxious sex joke or some Honey Im Home type shit & i understand this is like. A Moffat Theme & i dont always hate it but goddddd its so reductive like there is so much!!!! that could be done with her character !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is overshadowed by haha what if she was sexy like STOPPPPPPPPPPPP.

like silence in the library was a really good character lead in & i like her!!! as a character !!!! even the overly flirtatiousness unfortunately that would work on me but even aside from that. she is a good character let down but the sheer pull-it-out-of-your-ass writing of her backstory. like?? she could regenerate cos she was conceived in the tardis okay thats really cool much weirder stuff has happened when it comes to tardises & making babies but then WE SeE THIS FOR LIKE. this is probably a common question but roughly what is your approach to anatomy? i’m into biology in itself so that + nude figure studies have been so so helpful but your lines are so effortless and confident and stylized while still carrying so much raw human weight. that is especially why i love your 18+ stuff because it feels tasteful and real and not just gooner slop 😭. you have a very very good understanding of how fat and muscle sit on the body and i’m impressed thoroughly

😢 thank you so much! my go-to for learning anatomy was live drawing! not classes though but just watching people in motion and drawing like that. I still have a habit of staring so much at people when I'm outside mostly bc im thinking about drawing the shapes I'm seeing that I have to catch myself to not weird someone out LOL

after having a good enough grasp on anatomy then it was learning what to exaggerate and how I wanted to do it! many of my favorite artists who I dutifully copied as I learned how to draw are all animators so I picked up a lot of quirks from that despite not animating myself lol bowed legs and such

and LOL I'm grateful I'm above goon sloop..I think its impossible to come away from live drawing without appreciation for all kinds of bodies! and all the less flattering angles of them. I think its what adds a lot of charm and warmth to erotic scenes :-)

This is a post wherein I talk at great length about Anthony Rodzic, Felix's older brother! Requested by @accidental-spice 💚

This is gonna get long so....

Open-minded skeptic:

Anthony doesn't believe in magic. Not in the sense where he ignores the impossible things happening around him but rather staunchly believes there's a scientific explanation for anything "supernatural". If it looks like reality is breaking the laws of nature, that means there is more to the laws we don't know about, not that ✨magic✨ is changing things.

He's looking at the world and going "that person just grew a plant with their mind and shot laser beams out of their eyes. That is impossible, but it definitely happened. It's not because of magic, as my younger brother is insisting, but some secret law of nature that's overriding the usual order of reality and creating an anomaly." (aka, magic) So he's not entirely wrong... just, the laws they're missing are the ones everyone else are calling "magic".

Basically, he's a dude with absolutely no magical affinity trying to define the in-world magic system using the scientific method.

He continues to hold this stance even after time traveling/teleporting, meeting faeries, an alien who can hear people's thoughts, and an Ancient with enough magical energy to create a planet who says LOL YOU'RE SO CUTE

"No, no," he says to the eldritch being made of magic, "There's no such thing as magic, everything can be explained by science." -proceeds to have a several hours long q&a session with Ketsler about magic theory-

This guy literally takes a stroll through the faerie realm and starts making mental notes about how truly bizarre and otherworldly the ecosystem is while marveling that the atmosphere can sustain him at all. Meanwhile his guide just

This ties in with his current project- finding the cause and cure of the newly discovered disease that is gaining more and more prevalence and claiming many lives. It behaves like a type of cancer, but none of the cancer treatments have any effect on it. Working alongside some other more experienced scientists/doctors, they've identified the source of the disease has a connection with what seems to the be source of the super Talents.

Anthony gets involved in the whole Dauntless shenanigans after Felix gets sick with a really serious case of the previously mentioned disease that he somehow recovers from, and then immediately runs away from home. Anthony takes time off from work (his boss is a really chill guy, also a character 😏) and goes after his idiot little bro. Anthony is the only character in the story that sets out to find Dauntless and actually succeeds without Felix's consent 😂😂 He ends up joining the gang of orphans as the voice of reason and only person who can legally drive xD

He's also Felix's older brother!

He's about seven years older then Felix, so he definitely sees him as his baby brother lol They don't have a super close "best friends" kind of relationship, but they do both care for the other a good deal. Despite them actually being so similar, Anthony just doesn't understand the insane situations Felix keeps getting himself into. He runs away from home to be a vigilante??? Invites literal aliens to live in his house??? Apparently now he's involved in some interdimensional war against some eldritch being that can't die??? Not Anthony, he lives a quiet life. 😌
