they wake up at mid day, and sleep well past midnight. kids begging their parents on weekends to pleeaaase please let them step up just a little longer to watch the sun rise. early-riser visitors / tourists having to adapt to their horrid schedule because stars forbid theyre up and about at 10:30.

walburga still sees sirius as her little boy. she still sees him as the kid who used to hide behind her legs and shy away from new people, the kid who used to cry every time he saw a stray because "won't he be hungry, too?", the kid who used to curl up into her lap after finishing his lessons, and fall asleep as she brushed through his hair. ... and then he wasn't. he wasn't because the summer before fourth year he became mean. he was as tall as her, now, and his voice was deeper and he was so much louder. he was angry and cruel, she saw him fight with regulus and regulus emerged with dark bruises and split lips, he was ill-mannered - talking back to orion, first, and then her. he only grew taller, louder, crueler, too. walburga had hoped it was a phase, but as he aged he got angrier, more powerful, till she didn't see him as her baby anymore - till he spit venom so lethal she was reminded of herself father.

I recently found some old sketches for my Kentucky-based fakemon project and decided to clean em up. These two lines are based on the state butterfly, the Viceroy, and its Müllerian mimic, the Monarch.

Both would be a simple bug/flying combo, but I think it'd be cool if they had abilities that played together when they're sent into double battles. Maybe something that increases evasion and defense when they're on the battlefield at the same time, or maybe something niche like a chance to poison opponents when hit with Lick or Bite.
