Tonks and Remus getting absolutely plastered one night after Sirius dies and Tonks morphing into Sirius’ looks just so she can get laid by Remus like she’s been wanting forever.

I know it’s awful but I need your opinion

I mean, this is definitely canon. It's the only way that explains why Remus would have slept with a woman when he's gay 😂 Tonks wanted to get laid and Remus was missing Sirius and they were both extremely drunk. Of course she morphed into Sirius! Of course they slept together! Of course it accidentally resulted in Teddy! (Hogwarts has terrible sex ed.) And then of course Remus panicked, married her, panicked again, ran away, ran back, and then ran away again from his newborn son and the wife he didn't want straight into battle where he died, the end.

(Alternatively, like Lynx said, we never actually see either of them pregnant in canon, so it's also possible that Tonks-as-Sirius knocked Remus up and that's why he tried to run away with Harry and company lmao.)

The thing about Jack is: he's always been there. He's been a part of Connor's story since the draft, and will be a part of Connor's story for the rest of their careers. Maybe after, Connor thinks, on the days he catches himself lingering on posts about Jack while he's swiping through Instagram, maybe always.

Jack's hand touching his in the line felt hotter than the rest; Connor skated through the rest of the line, giving out the same good game acknowledgment to everyone, mouth on autopilot, legs pushing him down the ice one last time, making the same journey down another tunnel that he keeps making again, and again, and again.

He looks down at his hand in the shower, as if there's anything to see. As if there's a mark, or a brand; as if it's any different from last year, when the Oilers lost in four and he took in the thanks, man from MacKinnon and it wasn't like this, wasn't eating him alive and searing his skin.

He should just go home and sleep, but the heat of Jack's touch is still there, still lancing up his arm, and he lets it make stupid decisions for him, lets it send a few texts that no one will ignore because he's him, he's Connor McDavid, and now he knows where to go and what to do to either cool off the burn on his palm or let it turn him into ash.

That part's not up to him. Truly not up to him, not something he can know in advance or plan for. He just has to put one foot in front of the other, until he's standing in front of a hotel room door, knocking, listening for footsteps and hearing the heavy iron clack of the lever turning and the door swinging open and--

Jack.

He doesn't look surprised, but he doesn't say hello, either. He stands there for a moment, and then steps back, holding the door open.

Connor takes a deep breath and walks inside.

For me it's always going to be people who keep Pokémon without any thought as to their enrichment and needs. You do not need a fucking Arcanine, you live in a studio apartment and don't walk more than a block a day. You think you want a Gardevoir but are you okay with having an unknowable creature reading your thoughts every waking moment of the day? Even while you do... the nasty?

It drives me crazy because people see a Champion and think they have the time, energy, money, and space necessary to raise a Dragon type. Unless you have generational wealth, let me spell it out for you: you do not have the funds for a Dragon type. And yes! Charizard is on that list, guys! You can't even afford to feed yourself!

And for the record, rat and bug Pokémon are very valuable from an ecological standpoint. They hold an extremely important niche. People like you would rather they be hunted to extinction because they're pests, not pretty. It's disgusting.

Like okay I got into science because I love to learn but the more I find out about how we've classified Pokémon types the more insane I feel. What do you mean there's no singular true indicator? What do you mean that there are several conditions which completely alter their base type?
