Hi everyone, welcome to this weeks reading! I was called to do a destiny reading this week! Lmk if it resonates! Also I wanna credit the artist for these pictures that I used! For you guys I see that you have a hard time either accepting your destiny or you don’t believe that destiny is at play. In terms of you believing that you make everything happen in your life. However I see that you’ve been trying to start new journeys for yourself and they haven’t exactly been panning out or been as lucrative as you thought they would be. That’s because your destiny in this lifetime is to learn flow and let things come to you. For example maybe you really wanted a promotion and you worked extra hard all of the time for it but someone else got the promotion you wanted without even trying because they were in a state of receiving. I’m not sure if this is making sense because the universe doesn’t not want you to work hard, it’s more like take a break and see what comes to you during that break. If you are constantly manifesting then there is no room to reap the benefits of your manifestations. I hope that makes sense, however in this reading I do feel underlying notes of you feeling like you're destined to be married to your work and be alone romantically, maybe even in terms of friends. However I see that for most of the changes in your life you have refused to accept them and then blamed the universe for hating you. You actively choose not to change and wonder why there is no growth in your life. I feel like you are tired of how monotonous your life is but you choose to not add any color to it. I can feel your want to go and change things but you are frozen in fear of change for whatever reason. Then instead of taking the blame and accepting the fact that you aren’t trying to reach your goals you blame the universe, and it’s just a very vicious cycle. I think there’s a small part of you that acknowledges it but not enough to work on the shadow. I think all in all your destiny is to face the change, want the change, and make the change. I feel you want to do all these things, it’s in your soul. Facing a rebirth of the self is always challenging and scary. If you feel like the change will make you lose yourself, maybe that’s exactly what you need? I also want to stress that if you’re not ready for something then it won’t happen, but if the universe decides you are it will be much harder of a rebirth than if you chose it for yourself. I feel that you have lots to think about in terms of how to rebirth yourself. I also feel like you overextend too much for people who don’t care about you in the same way. For this pile I feel like the destined path is to choose to grow out of a place you have been in too long. Such as a friend group, small town, relationship, or family. I believe in you pile 3, change is scary but you have so much time to truly bloom, let yourself have that. True to his word (almost as though he were actually trying to make it a habit), Bucky kept his distance from Carthage. Several times, FRIDAY had alerted you that Bucky and Jade had crossed paths somewhere within the Tower, and you would review the footage with bated breath, always expecting to see the worst, as if they would strip off their clothes and start fucking in the common room. But you were relieved to see that he continued ignoring her, acting as though she truly did not exist, and it seemed to be driving her mad with vexation. 

She was so perturbed by it that she eventually came to you looking for a way to get to him.

“I need to talk to Jamie,” she said, interrupting you mid-conversation with one of the scientists in your lab. 

“Okay,” you said, dismissing the scientist. No reason multiple people should have to suffer through this. “Then talk to him. It’s a free country.”

“He isn’t speaking to me,” she pouted. “He’s acting like I don’t exist!”

“That sounds like a ‘you’ problem,” you told her, trying to keep the smile from your face. “I’m not sure what you want me to do about it. Or that I’d actually want to do anything about it, even if I could, if I’m being completely honest.”

“I just don’t know what I did wrong!” she whined. You sneered at that. How could she be so completely lacking in self-awareness? Especially to come to you, of all people, after the things she’d texted to Bucky, after trying to destroy your relationship.

“Would you like the list alphabetically, or in chronological order?” you asked. 

She rolled her eyes at you. “You know, you should have just stayed away from him. Everything would have gone according to plan if he wasn’t so fucking obsessed with you.”

“According to plan?” you asked her, eyebrows shooting to the top of your forehead. “What the fuck do you mean by that?”

Jade seemed to stumble for words. “I– he– you knew I liked him when I first interviewed. And just to get back at me because I was maybe a little bit rude to you, you went and stole him for yourself!”

You sighed and pinched the bridge of your nose. You wondered if you should ask Tony for a raise, because while you were paid extraordinarily well, you sure as shit weren’t paid enough to deal with this. “Listen, Carthage,” you began, “because I’m just going to tell you this once: My relationship with Bucky started long before either one of us ever even knew of your existence.” Technically not a lie, just a small fudge on the truth. Friendship was a type of relationship, after all. “And it’s going to keep going long after both of us have forgotten your name.”

“You don’t understand what you’re putting me through!” she cried, tears forming at the waterline of her eyes. 

You stared at her for a moment, unblinking. “What I’ve put you through?!” you asked her, clenching your fists to keep from punching her in that annoyingly pretty face– you knew that would lead to a fist fight you had no chance of winning. “You have been nothing but a thorn in my side since the moment you first walked into this Tower. Before you showed up, I was the happiest I’d ever been, but you had to come along and try to sink your claws into the man I love. You ruined my relationship; fuck, you ruined my life.”

You didn’t know what effect you expected your words to have on Jade, but you weren’t prepared for her insidious smile as you finished speaking. “Maybe you should be asking yourself, if Jamie loved you as much as you love him, why your relationship was so easy to ruin.”

With a flip of her hair over her shoulder, she was gone, leaving you alone, speechless and freshly betrayed all over again.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I'm currently playing in a world where I have a retirement home for all my elder sims. It includes an in-house clinic and a nurse (usually a young adult) who takes care of their needs, such as cooking and cleaning. I decided to create a new one especially for those who enjoys roleplaying and have set this lot to residential to make it playable.

Aside from the in-house clinic, I have also included a reception room where clients can inquire or 'reserve' a room. If you aren't into roleplaying, you can always change those rooms as you see fit and I mostly added some décor to those rooms anyway or a bookshelf to keep them busy. There are five bedrooms upstairs, an elevator to make it easy for elders to travel and the rooms can accommodate at least 10 Sims. One of the bedrooms is a VIP suite with its own sitting area, which you can change to add more beds if desired. I also placed a small button in each bathroom that functions as a doorbell (cloned from a callbox from ATS3) and this is intended as a call button in case of an 'accident' or if assistance from the onsite nurse is needed. Due to Tumblr's link limitations, I’ve created another WCIF Pt. 2 and please click the links above or go to WCIF Navigation page for easier access, as it is still listed there. 📣Please note that the store content and CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. My blog is very WCIF-friendly and I will always compile a list for those interested in downloading them separately. I have listed Supernatural above for the packs needed due to one CC mimics or cloned a Supernatural painting as a curtain so it is supposed to close around 6PM. I haven't tested that yet and as it is a décor item, this expansion pack isn't really required just take note of the build items used for this lot to show in your game. Felix has been flirting with Hyunjin for over ten minutes, which is only a problem for you because he is sitting on the only ladder in the entire bookstore. The shop owner sits on the middle rungs as the florist leans against the wall and dramatically tells him about his morning. Felix clutches the bundle of white and yellow daffodils Hyunjin brought for him to his chest with a dreamy smile.

Residing on one of the upper shelves, out of your reach, is a new romance novel that you came to purchase. You steal a glance at Hyunjin and Felix, then continue glaring at your target. Now, it was not just the minor inconvenience souring your mood, but the envy of seeing the two men together. You felt incredibly unlucky in comparison to the perfect couple chatting away in the corner. You were tired of reading about romance, and more than ready to find it for yourself.

The tips of your fingers just brush the spine of one of the copies as you try again, and you sigh in defeat. Climbing the shelf would be entirely too hazardous, although you are getting desperate enough at this point to try it. You had been waiting for this book for months. “Hey there,” You look over your shoulder to face the man that speaks to you, “You, uh, look like you could use a little help?”

“I’ve got it.”

The speed in which you turn away is criminal. The stranger is incredibly handsome, and you would be damned if you let the cutest man to ever walk into this bookstore see the smut you were trying to pull off the shelf. He clears his throat gently and you peek over your shoulder at him.

“Hm, are you sure? I’ve got to grab something up there anyway.”

“O-Okay. I-If you wouldn’t mind…”

You are about to move when the man drops a stepstool behind you and springs onto it with ease. He braces one hand over your shoulder and leans in, his chest brushing against your back as he grabs the books. Your breath catches as he hops down again, and you will yourself to breathe as you turn around. You inhale sharply as he does not hand the book over to you, but flips through it instead. He then reads that lovely little page of content warnings- mainly kinks- listed by the author at the beginning of the book.

Your face burns as he hums and casually places it in your hand.

“Here’s your book.”

“It’s not mine,” You blurt quickly.

“Oh? Did you want a different one?”

You clutch it to your chest.

“N-No! I-I’m buying it… for my friend. I don’t read this stuff.”

“Oh, I see,” There is a troublesome little glint in his eye, “That’s a shame. That author is quite popular. Maybe you should give it a try?”

You squirm under his playful gaze. You wish you could just melt into the bookcase to escape this conversation.

“No.”

“No? Why not?”

“It’s not… realistic…”

His eyebrows quirk but he looks satisfied with your answer. Felix interrupts the tense moment as he begins leaving the bookstore with Hyunjin.

“Hey, Chan, I’m taking my break now. You got an eye on the cash?”

“Yeah, mate, you’re good. I’ll see ya in a bit.”

Hyunjin gives you an excited wave, which you return shyly, as Felix adds:

“Oh, y/n, I put a book aside for you. It’s behind the counter. Chan, her name is on it.”

“Alright.”

“Thank you,” You murmur.

The doorbell chimes as the door falls shut behind them, and you are left alone with Chan. He kicks up the stepstool and catches it one hand.

“Well, y/n,” He coos in his lovely accent, “I’ll be at the cash if you need anything. Give me a shout if you have any questions, yeah?”

“Y-Yeah, sure.”

He winks and walks behind the counter, settling in and opening the book he pulled from the shelf. You stall for a bit, then steel your nerves and approach the checkout. Chan sets his book aside and smiles as you set yours on the counter. He finds the book Felix set aside for you, and it is the exact same book you pulled from the shelf.

The road to Hell is truly paved with good intentions.

Chan pauses then coyly asks, “I guess you don’t want two of these, hm?”

You puff your cheeks.

“No.”

He chuckles and begins ringing up your purchase.

“Okay, I won’t tease you anymore. You don’t have to be embarrassed, you know?”

“I’m not embarrassed.”

He side-eyes you playfully.

“Alright. Are you paying with cash or card?”

“Cash.”

You quickly pull the bill from your pocket and hand it to Chan. You are both quiet as he makes your change then hands it back to you. You count it then furrow your brow gently.

“Something wrong?”

“Um, it seems… You gave me extra.”

He checks the receipt then looks at your hand as you hold it out to him.

“No, it’s right.”

“You gave me a discount?”

You drop the change in your pocket and accept the book and receipt as he hands them to you.

“Of course. Pretty girls shouldn’t have to pay full price.”

You fluster.

“I thought you said you weren’t going to tease me anymore?”

He rests his chin in his hand and leans his elbows on the counter with a smirk.

“That wasn’t teasing. That was flirting.”

You clutch the book to your chest and duck your blushing face.

“Well…”

He giggles and the charming sound startles you to look up again.

“Sorry. I’ll stop.”

“I-It’s okay.”

“Hm?”

“Uh, you don’t have to stop.”

Chan smiles warmly.

“Only if you like it.”

“I, um, I do.”

“Okay then. Well, I hope your friend likes the book.”

“It’s almost worse when you pretend you don’t know…”

“Well, for the record, I believed you a little bit.”

“Sure.”

“I did,” He purrs, “And I would agree with you. I tried to read those books but they weren’t really my thing.”

“You did?”

“Mhm, like you said: it wasn’t realistic. If you’d like an example of something more realistic though, I’d be happy to show you.”

You roll your eyes as a grin breaks out on his face. Although he delivered the line with confidence, his whole face is flushed like yours.

“I’ll keep that in mind…”

Chan winks as you walk away.

“Have a good day!”

You rush out of the bookstore and pause outside as you notice something sticking out of the book you just purchased. You flip it open to see a scrap of paper with a phone number written on it. You look through the window of the bookstore to see Chan, giving you a fluttery wave as you piece it all together. You huff and cover your face as you stomp away, but you cannot suppress your charmed smile.

As those of you that have followed me for a while (as I've been basically inactive for a couple months now) have probably noticed, one of my big goals on tumblr has moved from "gotta build my audience/find writer friends" to "gotta build a community out of tumblr writers/bring us together/build up writers confidence."

My blogging experience used to be all about me, my writing, and gaining writer friends that I could share my journey and their journey with.

My goals have long since shifted to just wanting the whole community to come together. I think this shift has become most evident by the kind of "new blogs" I have created in more recent months vs a couple years ago when my blogs were all about my writing, my projects, etc. Rather than now, where they're "positivity for writers, positivity for life in general, prompts for writers, a blog for bringing writers and readers together."

Anyway, I bring this up because I have received an ask that has made it more evident to me how much I still want to be a person people can come to to basically find their writer friends/find their circles.

I would love to find a way to build the community even more and bring us all as a community together even more.

Of course, life has gotten much more hectic, which is why I'm nowhere near as active as I used to be, but my 2 main goals on tumblr still remain:

Bringing writeblr together as a community

Inspiring those around me

So with this in mind, I think I'm just going to make another "interest form," but this time for anyone that would be interested in any community-building activities or blogs I may come up with. 💖

I never participated in a zine before, what exactly are you expecting a “finished piece” to look like?

For artists, it depends on the artist and their style. For some it may mean fully rendered figures and backgrounds. For others it may mean a simpler background and colors. Everyone is going to have a different definition of “finished”. You want it to be presentable and nice to look at, not something you threw together without much thought. Try to think of what movie posters might look like, or phone/desktop wallpapers.

For authors, your story should have been edited at least once for spelling and grammar errors. Your story should be self-contained, a.k.a. a one-shot, with a beginning, middle, and resolution. There will be beta-readers available in a specific channel on discord, so if you need help and don’t want to ask anyone directly, you could always shoot a message there and someone will know to help.

Overall, it doesn’t hurt to apply! If you’re not sure what your “best example” work is, you can include a link to your blog/online portfolio (wherever you post art) and we’ll take a look.

Relationships aren’t always happy, can my piece be something besides fluff?

Within the limits of the PG rating, your piece can be happy/fluff, hurt-comfort, or angsty. Things that are generally not allowed for PG ratings include heavy violence/gore, heavy adult language, and explicit bedroom themes. Do you want to make us cry for Grandma Rosiepuff all over again? Bring it on.

What if I want to change my idea partway through the creation period?

If you get partway through your piece and decide on changing it to something totally new, please notify the mods first. Given that there are 3 months to work on your piece this will likely be allowed but you will have less time to finish it. To avoid this, we recommend really thinking over your idea early on, and if problems do arise you can use the #wip-feedback channel to get help.

Can I change from writing to art or art to writing after the creation period started?

Unfortunately, once you are accepted as either an author or artist, you are locked into that position. If you are someone who likes to make both art and fanfic, please take your time in deciding what you would like to focus on for the zine and apply at a later date. Applications are open until August 31st.

When I submit my art piece, how can I make sure quality stays the same?

To start, it helps to format your canvas to 2400px by 2400px or 8in by 8in and 300dpi. This will be the final size and resolution of each page of the zine. If you start with a smaller canvas and lower resolution the image will be blown up/stretched to the correct size and will likely loose clarity. When finished and ready to submit final files, you can simply save to Google Drive and share the link with the appropriate mod.

Can I sign/watermark my art before I submit?

Yes, you are welcome to sign your artwork anyway you normally do (if you do). However all creators will be listed on a credits page with their name and page(s) of their work, so you don’t have to worry about unsigned artwork not being credited. If you do decide to sign your artwork, we simply ask that you do so in a way that doesn’t interfere with the overall presentation. For example, a signature that is too big, a signature that blocks an excessive amount of details, or a watermark pattern that makes the image difficult to understand.

Do I have to use my real name for the credits page? What if I just want to use my online handle?

We will never ask for sensitive information, and that may mean the real or full name for some people. All we ask is some way to credit you. This can be your first name only, a nickname, or an online handle from any of your accounts (i.e. Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter/X, etc.). We will also include the primary account name/address for any creator who wishes to include one. For example, a piece could be credited like: Jane Doe, Jane, JD, Jbug, jbug @ tumblr, or any other combination. This goes the same for fanfic authors, although you will also be credited under the title of your fic.

Are alternate universe settings (AUs) allowed?

Alternate universes are absolutely allowed! However we do ask our creators to be mindful of how much the average viewer may know about them and work accordingly. For example, an au that needs a lot of explanation and previous knowledge may be a bit confusing, but more simple or self-explanatory aus (like human-aus or role-swap aus) should be fine.

Are original characters (OCs) allowed?

We ask that creators focus on canon characters in their piece, but ocs are allowed to be included. OCs are welcome as side characters, as in a fanfic, or in backgrounds of artworks for example. This is to avoid confusion for anyone who may view the zine but isn’t familiar with the multitude of fan-created characters.

Thank you! I'm doing my best to keep things positive around here. I follow the latin maxim of primum non nocere- first, do no harm. Or as the Wiccan rede puts it- 'An ye harm none, do what ye will', which was probably inspired by Crowley's 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law'. I'm already rambling, but all I'm really saying is- if it's not hurting anyone, you do you! It's clearly not a new idea, yet certain circles of tumblr seem to have forgotten it.

I cannot abide the gatekeeping- I think fiction provides a much needed outlet to explore archetypes of evil in a safe way. And it's human nature to be fascinated, even oddly seduced by such things, at least in the abstract. Maybe it helps us learn to accept and understand our own shadows. Or maybe I'm overthinking things. But in any case, I don't see anything wrong with liking 'problematic' characters. I won't allow anyone to be attacked for their character preferences on here.

Most people have the common sense and bare minimum of media literacy to understand that Cazador and Ascended Astarion are evil dudes, but some find them hot anyway. Sounds good to me! What you enjoy is no reflection of your character. I'm not here to delve into all the discourse, and I know there are a few AA and Caz stans with some horrendous takes out there- but regular fans shouldn't be punished by association. This blog is all about celebrating the diversity of fandom and sexuality, and I'm happy you're a part of it!

Hello Hello! Welcome to my first ever post on tumblr that just had to be about my ultimate top tier favorite visual novel of all time..Our Life: Beginnings & Always or OL:BA for short.

This game has such a special place in my heart that im afraid I’ll forever be attached to it because at this point it’s not even a phase anymore lol. I still remember that heated summer day of scrolling down on my steam shop out of boredom and i kept getting recommended OL:BA but back then i really couldn’t care less and would not even spare a glance on it until i got so fed up of it popping up in my recommended for the next few days that i decided to finally check it out.

Reading what it was about made me curious but what really got me downloading it was because of the customization of our character/characters.

And finally into the game i was! I remember when the story started, i was very surprised already by the environment, narrative and world building of the game. It truly felt like i was part of it and i didn’t get bored at all. In fact right from the start i was hooked already!

I loved ALL of the characters that was introduced, i love the fact that it was SO multiple choice that it felt like you were really integrating yourself/oc onto the game and that you’re not just forced to say the same thing as a different choice or feel as though your options are limited. Its definitely a game that you’re supposed to replay over and over because its just that fun!!

And as someone who has never had a great childhood and adolescence, absentee parent, chaotic household, unsupportive friends, want to be understood (you know…this and that) i was so happy that this game was doing that and it genuinely gave me hope to live despite going through the darkest of times in my life :)

This game has changed me into a better person and made me want to be the best version of myself that i want to be in the future! I will infinitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a feel good game/read (+1 it will make you cry!!)

LUFFY HAS AUTISM

From the very beginning of my time watching One Piece, I felt a deeper connection to Luffy and his behaviours, and over time, as I analyzed Luffy, I noticed a pattern in his behaviour, and it clicked to me that he may be Autistic.

In this post I will be heavily going off of the link below, since this is not a serious work made to be read by more than just some tumblr users, I will be plagiarizing from said link.

"To meet diagnostic criteria for ASD according to DSM-5, a child must have persistent deficits in each of three areas of social communication and interaction, plus at least two of four types of restricted, repetitive behaviors"

Let us go through the criteria and point out which of the criteria applies to Monkey D. Luffy.

A. Persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts, as manifested by the following, currently or by history

1. Deficits in social-emotional reciprocity, ranging, for example, from abnormal social approach and failure of normal back-and-forth conversation; to reduced sharing of interests, emotions, or affect; to failure to initiate or respond to social interactions.

Luffy has an abnormal social approach, which takes the form of inappropriate touching (touching/grabbing/poking at strangers), and 'forced' friendship (insists everyone is his friend, immediately welcomes them into his life, and even invites almost strangers to be part of his crew). He also fails to maintain back and forth conversation, often interrupting and/or hogging the conversation to talk about his interests and thoughts in particular.

He also fails to respond to social interactions, often completely ignoring when someone is talking to him or failing to follow rules, orders, and/or suggestions. His interests are limited, and he usually only talks about food (more specifically meat) and fighting. Luffy does not take hints or read between the lines; even when people tell him no or ask him not to do something, he does it anyway. Of course, said things end up being in the best interest of those people, but he still doesn't listen.

Luffy is not someone who displays "common sense" a lot, particularly when telling people things that may be hard to hear. He does not understand the concept of telling white lies or saving someone from embarrassment or hurt feelings by being polite. He is very blunt about things and does not beat around the bush. For example, when breaking the news to Tama about Ace's death, he simply told her "Ace is dead'' and that was that. He neglects to think about the fact that something so blunt and serious may be difficult for an 8 year old to process.

It's also worth noting that Luffy does not take orders from anyone, or stick to a plan, often abandoning his planned-out strategies with Trafalgar Law, and instead doing things his way; winging it and hoping everything will work out. He has repeatedly gone against Law's plans and suggestions, as well as the rest of his crew.

2. Deficits in nonverbal communicative behaviors used for social interaction, ranging, for example, from poorly integrated verbal and nonverbal communication; to abnormalities in eye contact and body language or deficits in understanding and use of gestures; to a total lack of facial expressions and nonverbal communication.

Luffy uses excessive facial expressions and non-verbal communication, which is often associated with autism (despite these criteria focusing on the opposite). He also makes excessive eye contact or none at all, often using his feet for things meant for his hands, and picks his nose even though it's deemed rude and unsanitary. He also has abnormal verbal communication, saying things that don't make sense to others (i.e thinking he was insulting Zoro by calling him 'three swords', then when Usopp pointed out that Luffy wasn't insulting him, Luffy changed his "insult" to 'four swords')

3. Deficits in developing, maintaining, and understanding relationships, ranging, for example, from difficulties adjusting behavior to suit various social contexts; to difficulties in sharing imaginative play or in making friends; to the absence of interest in peers.

Luffy is incredibly good at making friends and making others feel welcomed and safe in his circle. He experiences no deficits in this area; however, as stated earlier, his means of building relationships is very abnormal and exhibits autistic behaviour. He has difficulty adjusting his behaviour to suit various social contexts, such as picking his nose, burping, slurping food, being generally ill-mannered at fancy restaurants, yet always making sure to thank the waiter/barkeep, etc. after every meal.

B. Restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities, as manifested by at least two of the following, currently or by history.

1. Stereotyped or repetitive motor movements, use of objects, or speech (e.g., simple motor stereotypes, lining up toys or flipping objects, echolalia, idiosyncratic phrases).

Luffy expresses repetitive motor movements/speech, often clapping his feet together, clapping his hands, and laughing at everything even when things aren't funny. He smiles and laughs in serious/ life-threatening situations.

2. Insistence on sameness, inflexible adherence to routines, or ritualized patterns of verbal or nonverbal behavior (e.g., extreme distress at small changes, difficulties with transitions, rigid thinking patterns, greeting rituals, need to take the same route or eat the same food every day).

Luffy is insistent on eating meat every single day at every meal. While his diet is not in the least bit restrictive, he expresses the ritualistic behaviour of eating meat at every meal, every day. It's also common for Luffy to have a 'one-track mind', often only thinking about food or fighting. It is also worth noting that it's common for people with Autism to have an obsession with food.

3. Highly restricted, fixated interests that are abnormal in intensity or focus (e.g., strong attachment to or preoccupation with unusual objects, excessively circumscribed, or perseverative interests).

Luffy has only one goal, and that's to become king of the pirates. He does not ever let anything get in the way of said goal. He also has an incredibly strong attachment to his straw hat, which Shanks gave to him over 10 years ago, he is very careful with his hat, and gets very aggressive and mad when someone touches, takes, or damages his hat. Luffy also has a unique and string fascination for bugs, more specifically beetles. He has been shown to always be interested in them, pointing out different species, talking about them and naming off facts about them, and even wearing clothes with pictures of them or wearing clothes that look like them (the samurai gear from wano for example)

4. Hyper- or hypo reactivity to sensory input or unusual interest in sensory aspects of the environment (e.g, apparent indifference to pain/temperature, adverse response to specific sounds or textures, excessive smelling or touching of objects, visual fascination with lights or movement).

Luffy is easily distracted and fascinated. Things like lights, bugs, smells, sounds, food, etc. all grab his attention very easily. He also has an indifference to pain and temperature, often not realizing or feeling anything until someone points it out. For example, on both drum island and punk hazard, Luffy did not feel cold until some of his crew mates pointed out that he was not properly dressed for the winter and asked if he was cold. Luffy also likes to touch just about everything he can, even things that don't belong to him. He has a keen sense of smell and has remarkable hearing (often hearing things that others don't) although that can be chalked up to the Voice of All Things.

C. Symptoms must be present in the early developmental period (but may not become fully manifest until social demands exceed limited capacities or may be masked by learned strategies in later life).

Luffy has experienced all symptoms from an early age, which developed further once he set off on his journey to becoming a pirate captain. He has been this way since he was a child, and he has no apparent reason for this behaviour other than it simply being how he is.

D. Symptoms cause clinically significant impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of current functioning.

Every symptom is shown to affect him in his day-to-day life, both positively and negatively. They cause significant impairment in social functionality. Luffy is often seen as childish and unable to function on his own without the help of his crewmates. He can not cook or navigate, two very important skills to have as a young adult, which can be attributed to a developmental delay, aka Autism. This does not mean in any way that Luffy isn't smart or capable of handling himself; this just means he isn't as independent as someone who is Neurotypical would be.

In conclusion, Luffy experiences persistent deficits in each of three areas of social communication and interaction and meets 4/4 of the criteria listed in part B, making him autistic.

Hi there! My name's Edd, welcome to my blog! I live with my friends Matt, Tom, Tord, and Dan (and our friend CL who lives next door, but she sleeps here often enough to say she lives here), and I thought it'd be cool to open a blog to post to and talk to people!

I guess the last part means you can ask questions if you want, the inbox is open! I might could pass on a few questions to my friends, but don't forget the name of the blog is ask-edd, so don't get too obsessed with them, ha ha

(Hello and welcome to the ask-edd reboot! The new format is still mostly the same, you ask questions, I answer them with the sprites, but there's some differences

For starters, you can't just ask anyone anymore, this is ask-edd, you're gonna be asking Edd. Buuuut because I know the rest of the characters are still popular, so they're still somewhat askable. Edd can hand off his phone for someone else to respond, but that only works if he can physically hand them his phone, like he can hand it off to Tom any time when he's at home, but if you wanna ask Bing, he'd have to be at Bing's place or to ask Hellu he'd have to be at his house, etc

I also plan on sprinkling in original posts/art from time to time, along with bringing back events with special characters; plus Edd's gonna travel a bit more so other people are askable sometimes (though most likely just on weekends unless it's some kind of holiday)

This is also a new AU, meaning events happened differently than they did in the original run of ask-edd. Backstories, relationships, events, everything from before the reboot is officially noncanon to this current run. Granted a few things are similar, like the lads are still spliced and such, but how or why some things happened are different

And for the most exciting part (to me anyway): I made a new server! This one's more compact and succinct with easier to navigate channels and a map for the general channels just to be safe. There's roles for if you wanna get pinged for updates and things going on in VC like drawing, games, or movies, plus I plan on hosting polls there, both for fun and to decide on things on the blog, along with having a lore channel so if you forget anything backstory-wise, you can ask about it there. I also plan on adding fake currency in the future that you can earn in a myriad of ways to spend on things like askbox priority, special magic anons, and maybe even the option to answer an ask yourself! The link will be in the replies since tumblr likes to kill posts with links
