What would you get the main yonderland group (Debbeh, elf, nick the elders and Negatus) for Christmas?

I think Debbie deserves a little spa package with bath bombs, bubble baths, face masks, etc, and maybe some chocolate and a nice fluffy dressing gown. She deals with a lot, bless her, she could do with some relaxation. Maybe also a promise to take over and babysit the kids/yonderland lot for a day.

For Elf, I'd probably get him some fluffy socks, a new scarf, and a new pair of fingerless gloves since he seemingly lost his in s3. (I do like his s3 look and I know a scarf and all that would probably ruin it, but at the same time, fingerless gloves can only enhance a look if you ask me). Idk about Nick. What do you even get a sentient stick? Wood polish? Sure.

For Ho-Tan, I'd like to say false lashes, but I literally know nothing about them or makeup. Maybe I'd get her a gift card to some makeup shop and just leave it to Debbie to take her into the human world to shop. Also, pens. Quills look cool, but it's gotta be annoying to constantly stop and dip them in ink. I think even a cheap pack of biros would be a game-changer for her, but I'd definitely get her some pretty ones.

I'd probably just some jewellery for Elder Vex, you know, some cool rings, pretty drop earrings, stuff like that, and also a new ruff. I loathe the one he wears in the show, why is it yellow? it looks like he hasn't washed it in literal decades, that or he dunked it in tea for fun.

I was going to say a tie-dye shirt for Flowers, but he specifically prefers not wearing clothes so maybe not... maybe some like, psychedelic rock albums (and maybe something to play them on)? definitely the Woodstock album, I think he'd love that.

Then there's Choop and Presley, and I've gotta be honest, got no clue for them. Presley only seems to like alcohol and he should definitely not have any, and I have no idea about Choop. I'd probably just get them a box of chocolates/biscuits and hope they didn't notice their gifts were super lame compared to everyone else's.

For Negatus, a nice, fun, fluffy pair of pyjamas (maybe garfield themed? I think he'd inexplicably feel a kinship with that cat), and maybe like a bath bomb or two. i think i remember him enjoying a bath at some point. he'd probably be very excited by something called a bomb (and a bit disappointed when he realises it won't explode), and if I could find one shaped like a knife or a bat or something he'd be a fan. Also (with her permission), a framed photo of Debbie.

Def keeps the pile. Whenever he's mad (everyday) he starts growling and biting the patrick bateman dakimakura, wraps his arms around it and starts aggressively bunny kicking it with his legs, like cats do with their toys. Whenever I give Kobra a new toy she does it and it's adorable. Until it's my hand. Ow. Living with a cat for 3 years has given me ridiculous pain tolerance on my arms though, like, she just mauls me for 20 seconds and I don't even emote. It's fine. Anyway...

Like I have said earlier: this is man is a cat to me. I will give him as many cat traits as humanly possible.

Anyway - not just his bedroom (because like I have no idea I'm so sowwy. can somebody else speak on this I have a clear image yet zero words), but his entire house is just. full of hidden guns. everywhere. The drawer gun. The bed gun, obviously. The bin gun. The chandelier gun. The 47 guns beneath the floorboards (there is no way to access them other than take apart the floor). The stair pistol. The carbon monoxide detector gun. The magnificent rifle hoard behind the moving bookcase. The flower vase revolver. The rug gun. Don't forget the numerous bullet jars randomly littered around the house, those aren't hidden though, it's visible for emergency refuel just in case. The refrigerator carabin. He wanted a gun in one of the hallways but there wasn't a place to hide it so he just taped it onto the wall. The shower glock. Gun disguised as a flashlight. All of them are fully loaded

Whenever Martina asked why he does that, he just stared blankly directly in her eyes and said, "you just never know", nothing more, nothing less

(not just the guns though! If he finds/buys himself something he likes, or gets a snack or other kind of food he wants to keep for himself he also just hides it somewhere out of sight (me too btw. do not ask me). He doesnt really need to because he has like zero roommates aside from Martina sometimes, and whenever he invites people over for dictator business or whatever I don't know what rich people do with each other, they don't start running around his house trying to rob him. But you just never know.)

Going with Akane Plays Pokemon Go bc its my most recent one and also im obsessed with that game currently

I lied when i said its about akane playing pokemon its actually about siblings worrying about each other and about post-999 anxieties and expectations. Originally i did just want to write about akane having fun, but then i also got caught up thinking about aoi + i wanted to figure out how theyd interact outside the games premises, and it ended up the way it is.

I imagine akane is much more ready to go on and instantly work on her other shit once the second nonary game is over, while aoi would maybe prefer if she took a break and like. Didn't have to go around saving the world or whatever. Since they just officially got her back. So i wanted to write about that dissonance but i also know aoi can never say no to her (i am also an older sibling i get it man), and honestly i dont think hes done much but worked his whole life, so its a mix of them hanging out and neither being too happy about what they know has to be done but hey, the grind never stops. Akane has been stuck in the morphic field/various timelines for years, and aoi has devoted his life to keeping her safe even longer, so do they even know how to do anything else? I don't know but it is fun to think about

Ive also been thinking about that one qna answer about their relationship never changing and how that does or doesn't clash with their (possibly) different expectations for the future. Its interesting! Especially with how we know much more about akane and her motivations while everything we get about aoi is tied to his sister. Theres a lot there id like to dig into more but this felt like a too lighthearted fic for that so theres only bits of it

NOT because I don't like that you post mcr.. but because I feel like I'm not enough in the know about mcr to understand what's going on.. I was never an mcr fan but maybe that should change.. do you think your blog is a good place to start or are there beginner mcr blogs that I shall dip my toes into.. hmm as for beginner mcr blogs…. off the top of my head i can think of @on-this-day-mcr maybe? they post abt various band-related anniversaries which is fun and chill. also not so much Beginner but @angstics has a bunch of tags & documents dedicated to mcr archiving that you can look through! if anyone has other recommendations or wants to plug their own blog pls do!!

anyway they are a very cool band of incredibly talented musicians and i think they are definitely worth checking out… they only have 4 albums so they’re pretty easy to get into! if you like glam/horror/metal/pop you will have a good time :)

Hmm I don't know that I've done or experienced anything especially wild when it comes to Star Wars 🤔 Mostly I watch the movies and then write filthy convoluted smut fics about them like all rational people surely also do.

I remember when I was a kid I was into like..lucid dreaming (although I didn't call it that because I was five) and I spent a lot of time trying to get my brain to create new Star Wars movies for me while I slept. My favourite character was Leia, obviously, so I wanted more adventures for her and I swear one time I succeeded and she had a whole plot on a mountain but then I think she shot Han??? Anyway that soured me on the experience but it's nice to see there was a kernel of Star Wars fanfiction writer in me from a young age, even if it was an oddly violent kernel.

5 Turn your favorite villain into a blorbo. Who would they get along with now that they aren't evil, and how would they act as one of the good guys?

I think it would be interesting to see all 3 Gorgon sisters exist in Death City outside of the context of villainy because they're sisters and they all have a history of ✨️crime✨️

I'm a big fan of the MedusaMarie ship, but otherwise I don't think Medusa would really get along with anyone. She and Stein still have their thing going on, but otherwise the staff at the DMWA just view her as "yeah, that's Medusa, she hisses at people before she gets her morning coffee." (I also feel like they'd recieve her in a more neutral way because even though she's a bit of a bitch, she's not fake nice for the sake of preventing suspicion anymore.)

As for how she'd collaborate with the good guys, I think she'd work as a resident magic consultant and eventually be dispatched on more dangerous missions with higher-rank meisters. Additionally, I think she'd help students get away with shit lol. Anything from writing sick notes the kids don't need so they can spend the day at the arcade to just straight up enabling kids to go against orders to pick a risky but more rewarding strategy in the field--she's your chaperone. It's how she maintains being an agent of chaos.

Thank you! It's a little bit of blasphemy from an ex-Catholic.

So, I like my vampire stories. I like how far they go back into various myths and legends and folklores, I like the different takes on them, I like it all.

Beg My Forgiveness is the idea that the first vampire is Lazarus, after the miracle of Jesus raising him from the dead didn't quiiiite work.

Because sure, God is infallible and all-powerful etc etc... but Jesus was still just a man, and humans are not infallible, no matter how much divine power they have.

Did you know that with the story of Lazarus, Jesus specifically waited until he knew Lazarus was dead, specifically waiting until the traditional period of waiting with the body (iirc it was 3 days) was over and the body was prepared, before he even started the return journey back? He deliberately waited until there would be absolutely no doubt at all that Lazarus had died, before he went to go and bring him back. This man was supposedly his friend.

What would that do to someone? To know that your friend had let you die just to... what? To prove himself, when he's already done that a thousand times over? How much pain was Lazarus in when he died?

How much pain would he be in, knowing that his death was down to one person's choice?

TL;DR: it's mostly just me finding new ways to spite my Catholic upbringing. Or work through the religious trauma.
