Blu headcannons - Demoman

This is probably not the best time to be posting but I'm gonna show My Boy to the world

If red Demoman is Scottish I feel it's only right that Blu Demoman is from Ireland.

They can dunk on the British together. As they should.

I don't have a name yet but!

His dad was a Miner, his mom did odd jobs here and there. His parents worked hard to get him through school..and yet he couldn't figure out what it is he wanted to do much to his families disappointment. Tried to get into college for chemical engineering or something. Didn't have the funds for it.

He did have a knack for chemicals and explosions. For better or worse. Has probably gotten in trouble with his Experimenting.

Was brought into Blu not knowing that it was a Mercenary job. Genuinely thought this was a construction job.

Someone save this poor man. At least he gets to blow things and people up without getting in trouble and he gets paid.

His parents are Happy their son found a stable job that pays well. So now he can't exactly leave without letting his parents down and asking Questions.

Will give you a long lecture on his thoughts on different alcohols and explosives.

Does not drink nearly as much as Red Demoman. No one does let's be real.

Loves mythology and will happily tell you his favorite stories. Would get along well with Tavish if they ever got to talk.

Wears an eye patch to do that trick pirates did so they can have on demand night vision. Also I think he just thinks pirates are Neat.

Like Blu engineer, Blu Demoman feels out of place among the others. At least engineer had some expectations/ preparation before hand. Probably friends with Blu Engineer.

Loves sweaters and blankets and nice socks. Unfortunately the desert is not that kind of place for that

At the end of the day he hopes he can make his parents proud and find his way after this stint at Blu

this october i'm setting a writing goal of 1 scene per day for my zsz bang fic. i've got 16ish scenes left, so if i stay on track i'll have lots of time for edits before november when the fics start to be published ☺️

based on the bang's targeted publishing dates, y'all should have new fic from me in less than 6 weeks! i hope you're as excited as i am!

Mo Xuanyu closed his eyes as he worked to steady his breath. 

It wasn’t that he was nervous, of course not. That would be ridiculous. It was just Empathy, after all. 

Just… Just a ritual that if cast incorrectly or controlled improperly could rip the mind of the caster into the memory hellscape of the spirit subject and would, regardless, leave the caster’s body entirely vulnerable for the full duration which could be minutes or hours or, in the case of failure, until he died with his mind still entangled with his subject’s last, tragic moments. 

Oh, and also he was doing it without permission. 

But no, he wasn’t nervous. He was terrified. 

Of course, terror had never stopped him before, and he wasn’t about to let that change. Just because Yang-gege had failed didn’t mean it was impossible. Yang-gege was good, better than Mo Xuanyu was, but he was also impatient and tended to give up on things way too early. 

Mo Xuanyu checked the locking talisman on the door for a fourth and final time before he took his seat in the center of the array. 

He could do this. 

It would be fine. 

And if not? Well, he wouldn’t have too long to worry about it. 

Across the circle from him lay his subject. Its sheath was a dark, figured wood with very few embellishments. Steel reinforcements at the tip, along the spine, and below the hilt were worked to mimic the grain of the wood. The handle was worn smooth in the shape of its master’s grip. Its name was carved in simple lines: Suibian. 

Yang-gege had laughed when he’d learned the name of Wei Wuxian’s sword; Mo Xuanyu had not. 

He understood it, he thought. The layered feelings behind the name. The misdirection in it, and the honesty. It was an attitude as much as it was a smokescreen. Conviction as well as a mask. 

Or maybe he was just overthinking it. “It’s not that deep,” Yang-gege had said. 

Well, Mo Xuanyu was about to find out how deep. 

He took Suibian into his hands. He was gentle with it, though surely it was sturdy enough to withstand roughness. Reverent, though it had not been considered with care in many years. He wiped dust from the wood with his sleeve. 

Curiously he laid his palm against the hilt, gripped it tight. 

The sword had sealed itself, Jin Guangyao had said, even before its master had died. The sword was fiercely loyal, or that was the implication. But no one had seen Wei Wuxian draw it after that either. So maybe it was just stubborn. 

If this worked, Mo Xuanyu might find out which one and why. 

He released the hilt. Placed the sword back in position across the circle. 

The spell was easy enough to cast, much less easy to control. But Mo Xuanyu could do it. He really believed he could. 

So, with a long, deep breath, Mo Xuanyu closed his eyes, brought his hands up to hover above the scabbard, and let his mind slip down along the stream of his qi that flowed from palms to smooth wooden grips and back again.

No worries lmfao I was being crypto maybe unnecessarily but more for fun… trying to lure people to my blog… lol

But I promise my main goal here is to make sure fans have access to as much Sunny content and resources as possible!

That’s my whole motivation for this blog, after years of searching the depths of the internet for old stuff and running into dozens of dead links (why!! @alwayssunnyfxx !? why did you privatise/delete so many videos!?) and watching almost every social media site fall apart to bad AI search and bots, I want a place where that’s not going to happen (as long as Blogger stays in existence, I guess)

It’s definitely a work in progress, and there’s still a lot to come, to be added and collected, scripts included, but hopefully we will soon have a great resource and fun and interesting site for the community, and a place for great future content and, of course, Season 17+ updates :)

Hot take, and I will only say this once. Endogenics/endogenic spaces/endo adjacent spaces really, really need to stop being faced with so much hostility. I want to preface this with the fact that I believe it absolutely isn't possible to form a system without trauma. That's just how the disorder works. But do note this comes from someone who spent at least some time in both spaces (When I was just a recently discovered system testing the waters. Don't come at me for Discord servers I joined years ago.) Now then, let's be honest, the entire endogenic community is either filled with children, or severely misinformed adults. You are giving these children a choice between a incredibly hostile-to-those-who-disagree community, or a blissfully ignorant one, obviously if that's their first impressions of the community they're going to avoid the more hostile spaces. If you want them to actually understand why they're wrong, you cannot do that by creating a me versus you minefield.

TLDR: Stop lashing out at endos first without good reason, either try to educate or just leave them alone. If they're just as impressionable to believe endo systems are real, it's not out of the question they can understand why they're not.
