A/N: I am not heavily tattooed yet but I did love this request sm soooo here this is :) Ty for the suggestion and I hope you enjoy!

They can’t really be blamed for not knowing about the tattoos, y’all are all covered typically in heavy gear and clothing and weapons most of the time. And they don’t question it when you’re covered up even more than usual bc yk, Ghost exists walking around in a Halloween costume 365 days a year. They’re used to it so they won’t prod.

Most task force members have tattoos of their own, it’s not a strange concept but they just assume you have none, they see you covered up and that’s that.

But then one day, let’s say there’s a mission and you guys get fucking d r e n c h e d in water, and you’re in a cold climate so leaving your clothes on is not an option. They need to dry by the fire and you cannot catch hypothermia.

Whatever reason you cover up, you know it’s only logical so you shyly take off your gear, quickly going by the fire while the guys quietly stare at your figure, staring at the ink decorating your body. Yes you’re beautiful and yes it’s their first time seeing so much of your skin but is that a fucking narwhal on your arm-

You have to snap at them to quit their staring bc you think they’re only staring at your chest or at your underwear but soap just blurts out “YOU ‘AVE TATTOOS?” And everyone else nods.

Individual reactions:

Ghost:

Ghost fucking loves it so much, he could stare at your tattoos for hours on end. He rolls up his sleeves to show you the ones decorating his forearms, letting you trace your fingers over the skull and withholding a shudder.

He immediately brings his hand up and traces yours back, asking questions about them and how long they took with you sitting in the chair, grunting in response as he zones out.

Asks why you cover them up as often as you do but when you send him that look he quickly says never mind.

Soap:

He immediately asks you about the meaning (if you have any for them). He admires them and thinks they make you look beautiful and badass.

He also will take a marker and draw ones on your empty bits of skin and color any grayscale tattoos you have.

If you were to ever get one of his doodles or drawings tattooed he would probably tear up on the spot. Also maybe kiss you stupid bc wow you have something from him on your skin forever and he loves you sm.

Would design y’all matching pieces, in your line of work tomorrow isn’t guaranteed so if you’re down, he’ll make the appointment for you both.

Price:

I personally don’t think Price has tattoos or would ever get any bc he doesn't care for them but he has an appreciation for yours.

Everyone would think he would be the type to talk down on them but all he said to you was “do you like ‘em? You do? Then why the fuck would I care?”

In between breaks, he’ll casually ask if you got any new ones and that he’d like to see them.

Gaz:

Gaz doesn’t have any but that’s just because he can’t fully decide on what he’d get, he’s young like you and cannot handle the commitment.

Therefore he lives by you and eagerly encourages all your ink and will always go with you to your tattoo session if he’s free.

He’s the best kind of person to have come along esp for long sessions bc he’ll go get you food, drinks, etc while he sits with you.

He always says he’s gonna get one when he goes with but always said never mind lmao.

Bonus <3 Laswell:

Now she's no stranger to ink, she's not covered up but she does have a matching tattoos with her wife and a few small patches of her wedding flowers on her.

She absolutely adores your ink and will not hesitate to defend you and it if someone were to disrespect you bc of what you've done with YOUR body.

She's a mom what can I say, she knows her authority and won't be shy to use it.

That doodle with him and Ghastly was just meant to be a Predator handshake but I thought “hey, they probably did a bit of arm wrestling to pass the time as stowaways” and I like it better, I have to say. (I like drawing muscles, maybe)

I wasn’t even going to think about hair or eye colour but I just went with red hair because come on the fandom practically made this canon, and I gave him some deep, brown eyes because I think it makes him look smoking hot.

There’s so many scenes from Resurrection I would loooove to draw (especially the scenes with corrupted Skug) so hold out guys, okay? For now I hope you like Val acting a fool and Skulduggery enjoying a big ol’ wrap.

Arthur Morgan x Male!Reader Hcs

Hey!! I wanted to make another hc list cuz the last one did so well! I made this an x male!reader because as a gay trans guy, there really isn’t too much when it comes to male readers. I just wanna make other people who feel the same and myself feel happy and represented!

Also to add Arthur is autistic in this

Warnings: Mention of vomit

Though he maybe aversive to touch with others, arthur is SUCH a cuddle bug with his partner. When they first start out he’s shy and will hold your hand or wrap his arm around your shoulders.

but once it’s long term arthur gives you big bear hugs, hands around your waist, holding you close by the fire, and of course those soft kisses <3

When he’s drunk, he pulls you onto his lap, smothers your face in kisses, and yells about how much he loves you.

Arthur also gets shy when it comes to talking about his interests. If you mention something like drawing or horses, he’d make a small comment or addition to the conversation. But once he’s comfortable enough, he’ll infodump for hours about horses to you!

Just hold him close, let his head rest on your chest while you pet his hair and he infodumps, and he’s in heaven!

Some pet names he’d call you would include: “Darlin, Sweetheart, My prince, My man, Hun, and Sunshine” :3 When you call him any pet name, his heart melts and his legs feel like jelly

He loves giving and receiving praise! He’ll whisper in your ear “good boy” just to mess with you cuz he know it makes you BLUSH! But he’ll also be like “atta boy!” or “yup, that’s my boy.”

The first time you praised him, it felt really odd for him. He hadn’t been praised like that ever since he’d been with Mary. It felt so foreign but so…good.

His big ol’ heart skips a beat when you tell him how proud you are of him, or how he looks so handsome in that new shirt you got him. He feels like the happiest man on earth

Now unfortunately, times weren’t as accepting as they are now. You and Arthur knew it had to be kept secret for fear of what might happen. You two don’t feel any embarrassment at all, just a need for a safety. The gang knows about you two, most of them accepting you with welcome arms!

You also help Arthur out more with errands, jobs, and chores. Ever since an incident were Arthur worked his way up to illness like vomiting, you’ve made it your duty to lay off the weight on Arthur’s shoulders.

If he needs help with the hay bales, you’ll be right next to him holding one. If he’s going out on a stage job from alden, you ask if you can tag along!

Arthur has gotten better with accepting help or rest, but not so much asking for it. You still encourage Arthur to request help if he needs it, and how he’s not weak for doing so.

There have even been times where you’d yell at Dutch and Strauss to leave Arthur be for a bit.

He’ll sometimes doodle little drawings of you in his journal as well as writing lovey dovey passages about you and putting “A<3Y/N” with a big heart too. He’ll even just doodle random hearts while spacing out and thinking about you..

He gets so excited to see you, even if you can’t tell. The way his eyes light up like a big puppy dog’s as he speed walks over to your horse to greet you and give you a welcome back kiss

He also penguin pebbles and finds random stuff that reminds him of you!! Whether it be a cigarette card, a flower, or even some artifact or object he found…he WILL give it to you!

Lil update in case y’all care ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;) 

I’m moving from my shit apartment starting the beginning of august, and my current semester ends near august 13th. My next semester starts almost 2 weeks after (classes start on the 22nd but it’s good to get it started earlier since most classes open early).

Hopefully by then I’ll be moved out, feel more organized and less stressed, and manage my time a bit better.

Classes are going well despite being super fucking stressful, I’m at the very least passing for now lol

But as for drawing, besides that one doodle I finished and coloured, I haven’t been able to do anything at all. It really disappoints me because I see all this amazing art and my fomo (fear of missing out) gets so bad lol. But I am being responsible and doing my best (╥ᆺ╥；)

So in case you’re curious my struggles currently read below lol

So, the place I work at, my store is a corporation and we’ve been basically getting babysat by managers from other stores who are also watching their own store, getting paid a shit amount for creating and maintaining not just the scheduling for both stores, but also managing any issues that arise. So we’re on our 4th manager now, and while he’s the sweetest and fucking raddest manager of all times, he is doing the bare minimum for our store. And trust me, I do NOT blame him. To be honest, he is getting paid salary for being a manager of his own store, and it’s like 56k a year or something which isn’t bad at all. But watching a completely different store?

75. Dollars. A WEEK?! That is LITERALLY a slap in the face. That is the CEO saying a big ass fuck you to its employees. So of course he’s doing the bare minimum. Coping and pasting parts of the schedule, he never comes into our store, and while he’s attentive when it comes to issues, he’s our only source of upper management support we have.

We have workers who have worked with the company for 3+ years, 8+ years, and 20 years. They know what they’re doing, but when I am running the shift by myself, I can’t rely on my coworkers to get back to me, because they are not obligated to.

So the schedule is pretty awful sometimes. Sometimes we’re over staffed when we could’ve used the help other times, sometimes we’re severely understaffed. Like for example, today was a shit show. We had 3 people during our busiest time. (I work at a coffee shop) and so we have one person on register who also takes care of the food and packs the deliveries, and then one person on the coffee bar is not enough to handle the amount of drinks they get, so I was basically running back and forth to support both positions while also making sure my coworkers got their breaks. Icing on the cake was when we realized it was way too hot inside the cafe and learned our AC is broken AGAIN! It was 84 degrees before I left work. That is miserable running around taking care of hot drinks and food.

This is something I deal with at least 2 times a week

While also doing school work full time, having a strict deadline to follow to submit assignments (thankfully it’s all online so I can be somewhat flexible)

And on top of all of that, I’m moving in 2 weeks, school finals will be going on by then, and life has been kicking my family in the ass.

My step dad, who I’ve know since I was 6-7, he’s been that second dad to me, I think of him as a hero. He unfortunately has been diagnosed with single cell lung cancer. It had spread to his ribs and femur. While he’s still fighting and going through aggressive treatment, I’m not sure what the outcome will be. He’s putting on a strong face, so I can’t tell how serious it is.

My grandfather is also in the hospital. He’s had a heart condition that requires him to wear an AED pacemaker in his chest, and recently it was used because he had a seizure. He’s not doing too well, and who knows what will happen.

Oh! And my older sister’s wedding is IN TWO MONTHS! I’m the damn maid of honor, and I do nottttt like the attention. She’s the kinda person who likes big fancy weddings but she’s doing her best financially to make it happen, though she also was promoted to manager for her store (we work for the same company) and going through that crazy long training is surly not fun lol.

But anyway, thanks for reading my rambles. Sometimes I feel like nobody really cares but I get reminded that there are people out there who are wondering how I am. So this is for you people

Well guys it seems you’ve made your choice!

I’m so happy that you want me to write this because I’m SO EXCITED!!

For a short introduction of her, I’ll be explaining her powers overall, personality and a bit of the plot for the story!

Y/N is a beautiful woman with (whatever body type you have because y’all are beautiful) with long curly hair that goes back to her lowe back. (Or whatever hair you prefer) she has your colored eyes and whatever outfit you choose but in my imagination she has a similar dress like mother Gothel from tangled.

( If you don’t know what it looks like it’s this! )

Now to go on about her personality, if you met her in real life you would probably think it say.. “..what a bewitching woman..”

Which is very very true.

To describe her she’s a very passionate, curious and confident woman, especially in her skills she is.

Like Circe she had the power to turn people into any animal she deems fit, a lion? Go ahead! A mouse?! Done! Any animal or even object she’ll turn you into just like that.

But that’s not even all as she has the power to control life, plants and roses of any poissons or thorns that’ll cut you and leave you lying down on the cold floor, your heart slowly stopping a beat in only just a few seconds.

Her fighting skills are very excellent as well, what? You didn’t think all she was good for was magic did you?

She’s very flexible and fast with her attacks, whether she’s hitting you in the chin with a giant vine/ beanstalk, or wrapping your body tight with thorns and knocking you unconscious with a kick she’s very powerful ether way.

She might even learn to use her magic to control more elements than earth..(hint hint)

But of course..she won’t be powerful enough..

This is a yandere story after all..with multiple pirates chasing after that are of course more powerful than her and could knock her off her feet.

But will she escape? Or be in clutches of obsession forever..? We’ll see..

The plot is that she’s living in a island filled with plants roses, vines of all sort. Poisonous and sone to just show off their beauty of course.

She’s currently living with an old woman who taught her the ways of witchcraft and always getting on her case about wanting to go adventure the seas.

Everything was a bit basic and normal..nothing out of place..

Until the strawhats came of course..

They were interested in her like no one else,

Hell even zoro melted like butter!

So peculiar you could say…

Whether she’s making up new moves and combos involving nature with ‘captain’ usopp, or lazing around with zoro on deck and taking a good nap. Maybe even cooking with sanji while he swoons over you and almost had to go to chopper for the bloodloss, even just sitting in Nami’s office while she works on a map and doodling on a piece of paper innocently.

They just can’t get enough of her…and of course would do anything for her to join the crew.

Even if it means ‘sadly’getting rid of a few people…

Of course the straw hat crew isn’t the only ones who’ll be charmed by her..

The others include

Enel, Boa Hancock, Sir Crocodile, Shanks, Mihawk, Law, Kidd and more…

BEGGING to hear about ur familoier au plssss

Okok so!! This is a Jaiden and Bobby centric au with some Roier (I mostly came up with this au because I was sad about Jaiden and Bobby and wanted them to be happy) it’s very slice of life fluffy modern au- just them being happy together :]] just know this is extremely self indulgent because I want them to be happy and if feels ooc or something no it doesn’t :]

Bobby often goes to the park with his family!! He likes to brings his fake sword and swing it at anything and everything he sees. he also likes to pick the many flowers around the park to make flower crowns!! It’s rare for a friend (or parent) of Bobby’s to not have at least one of his flower crowns (and his parents often have at least one flower of his on them all the time)

Bobby also loves to paint with his family!! He will draw on canvas, walls, his own skin, whatever, so he often has doodles up and down his arms. The family will often put aside time in the day for them to paint together (at Bobby’s request) and it’s often his highlight of the day :D he likes to copy Jaiden’s arm tattoos with his drawings on his arms (though he won’t admit it to her) and he often draws his family or his friends!!

Bobby also has two dogs- a big brown newfoundland named Oso and his husky named Tripita (he’s also named the two raccoons outside and sometimes tries to take them inside but they always escape)

Jaiden is a freelance artist who works on commission who is roommates with Roier. She is learning Spanish for both Roier and Bobby (who is bilingual) and they both encourage and help her while she’s learning! She went to law school for a bit when she was younger- but ended up dropping out.

all the eggs go to the same school and are all in the same class (for the older eggs) and the younger eggs (when they come into the story) often hang out with them at lunch and such :D Roier also babysits Tilin on the weekends so they and Bobby are pretty good friends (though they sometimes joke at being rivals) and Dapper sometimes comes over for sleepovers!

All the eggs are kind of close which means that their parents also all know each other because of their kids- it’s how some of them get to know each other at first but a fair few knew each other beforehand!

Misc thingys:

-the city is name quesadilla city

-jaiden once spent a day going from store to store to find the specific brand of french fries that she and Bobby likes lmao

-Jaiden often shows Bobby the basics of her job/s because of his interest in art

-Bobby is in awe of Juannaflippa because of her nerf gun

-all of the eggs are around 8-10 in this au I think but I’m still figuring out ages

-the au is called a garden of missed promises

-jaiden dyes her hair and convinces Roier to get a streak (she wanted him to get blue but they settled on red) and Bobby begged enough that they got him a blue underside of his hair

-they love to go biking together around the city

-the federation is kinda just the government for now,, they’re not nearly as bad as the canon federation and mostly are just in the background

-when they save up enough money they sometimes go out to a cottage on the countryside and hang around there

-Bobby and Tilin originally met when they had a fight at school that turned into their Roier and Q fighting over who has the best kid (they mostly made up though)

also it’s a sort of fantasy modern au only in that they are still hybrids instead of all being human- Jaiden is a parrot hybrid, Roier is a spider hybrid, Bobby is a dragon hybrid, pretty standard (not all the eggs are dragon hybrids though)

it’s VERY early qsmp based if you couldn’t tell already though I do want to add some of the other language creators (especially cellbit for spiderbit) but I’m still working on figuring out how they would work in this au! also Pepito and Empanada are going to be confusing to fit into this au- I don’t want to not include them but idk,, if y’all have any ideas they would be greatly appreciated

Yes, believe or not this is the oldest of all the redraws I’ll be showing you. This was back when lil Jay was still developing her art style and wasn’t sure what she wanted it to look like, awwww womp womp </3 I believe I redrew it when I was 13 going on 14. Anyway, you’ll probably never see Pepper again; back into the oc graveyard she goes.

Mwah mwah mwah oh Raccoonpaw my sonnnn, honestly all of my ocs are my babies and to be fair Raccoonpaw over here was made WAYYY before Cooper, all the way back when I was in fifth grade I think (I’m in tenth now)

Q:What Do Ya Use To Draw, and what other apps do you use?

I use FireAlpaca to draw. I Will start to use Hitfilm Express Soon as my main editing app, for now I unfortunately have to use CapCut for editing

When I am not at my computer I use my iPad, I use Procreate and Sometimes IbisPaint but very rarely though. I have used Ibis Paint a lot though in the past so if ya have any questions on how to better use Procreate or Ibis Paint I am happy to help.

Day #1

Date: November 16th

Charlie told me before leaving the last house that making something called a ‘Journal’ might be a good distraction for me as I move onto my next house… personally I don’t see the appeal but I don’t have much else to do in between staying alive. He gave me this leather-bound book that had some pretty good craftsmanship, never would have expected that of the joker.

Anyway... today was a new day, for a new start.

After a treacherous journey of stowing away in a human car, as they call it, I eventually found myself in a new house… it seems simple enough, one bedroom, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, and an attic that didn’t seem very lived in… perhaps this human had moved in recently, it doesn’t matter to me…

I need to be careful this time… if I’m seen I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it too a new home. I’ve been working on something that might allow me to traverse the house with ease… but that’s a pretty big might hehe…

I’d stick around and write more, imaginary audience… but I really need to get a layout of the house.

The human came back suddenly, they’d left the house earlier presumably to do some shopping and now they’re here… I’ve huddled down in a cabinet… but I haven’t a clue how long this hiding spot will last…

He seems to be busy thankfully… not checking this cabinet… sadly there wasn’t anything good in this place. Only a strangely sugary cube thing… it’s soft and squishy, maybe it’d make a good pillow of some kind… if it doesn’t get too sticky…

Alright I’ve settled down again.

I’m back in the attic, these vents are surprisingly easy to navigate through… I’ve found myself a nice cardboard box I could set up in, and have taken the sticky cube back up… I’ve seen a few of these before but they’re hard to get, they don’t exactly get left out.

Anyway, the kitchen… it’s a basic kitchen, a fridge set up next to three counters with an Island in the middle; Not to mention the microwave resting on the counter farthest from the fridge and the stove beside that on the other wall.

Below I’ll draw a picture for… myself, jeez you’d think I was going crazy with thinking anyone other than myself would read this.

Tomorrow I’m going to check out the humans bedroom… I don’t think I’ll be spending that much time there but it’s still important. Maybe I can borrow some of the fabric from that sweater of his to make a blanket… I get the feeling this winter is going to be cold as fuck.

Besides with how bright that yellow is he kinda deserves to get a hole in it y’know?

It’s hard to keep my eyes open… so I’m going to end this off with a checklist for tomorrow, good night Fundy.

The moment the bell rang, Jimmy was out of his seat and tailing the punk.

He was fuming. This guy was in for it. Who did he think he was breaking into his school, stealing his mascot, and hitting him with bolt cutters? Jimmy was going to wring him by his necktie and send him back to the chicken scratch-doodled paper he came from.

“Hey Lady Liberty! Turn around, will ya?” Jimmy hollered as he stormed from behind.

“Woah, Lucky Charms, chill out,” The punk laughed once he came to face Jimmy.

Jimmy gritted his teeth and reeled back a fist to swing.

“What’s got you trippin’, little man?” He asked with his head tilted like a German Shepherd.

Just as Jimmy opened his mouth to argue back, Pete pulled him aside.

“I’m sorry! He thought you were someone else!” Pete chuckled awkwardly.

“Ah, no problem. Judd Jones, by the way. You rock that pink,” the punk complimented as he patted Pete’s shoulder and walked away to join his colorful clique.

Pete would then drag Jimmy off, wandering the halls until they found a bathroom to hide in. They managed to find one down the hallway. Pete looked inside, seeing that it was vacant. He quickly dragged Jimmy into a stall and locked the door behind them. Then, Pete came menacingly close, his dark doe eyes squinting with a rage Jimmy had never seen in him.

“Are you stupid?” He asked.

Jimmy blinked in response.

“If you said anything about the mascot, you would’ve been flattened!” Pete rattled Jimmy by the shoulders.

“Pete, chill! I can handle myself!”

“Not alone against an entire student body you can’t,” Pete argued.

Jimmy rolled his eyes.

Pete’s nervousness began to return. “L-look man, we’re already playing with fire. This is seriously dangerous,” he stammered.

“Fine, but we’re gonna get my shit back. And then figure out the fuck’s going on with Alice,” the short boy unlocked the stall.

Pete nodded hesitantly, joining Jimmy in his mission.

“Mr. Joiner,” Gary called, catching the teacher as he moved to the lounge.

“Yes?” The man turned, his big blue eyes trailing down to the teenager.

“Can I talk to you for a minute?” He asked.

“Of course, just let me heat my lunch up quick, then meet me in my classroom,” Mr. Joiner smiled as he continued his route to the teacher’s lounge.

Gary slowly trailed his way back to the now-empty human anatomy classroom. He kept himself busy, gazing up at posters depicting different body systems. The nervous, cardiac, integumentary, skeletal, and digestive. To his right was a shelf full of jars that held all types of organs and animals. Everything from a human heart to a preserved embryo of some kind. This classroom was morbidly fascinating and much more interesting than Dr. Slawter’s.

He turned his attention to the door as Mr. Joiner slipped back in and kicked it shut.

As he made his way back to his desk, he spoke. “So, what were you wanting to talk about?”

Gary paused. “Well, I guess I just had a few more questions about the integumentary system.”

“I see. What were you wondering about?” Mr. Joiner leaned back as he blew on some piping hot spaghetti.

“I was wondering how the skin can take a tattoo,” Gary asked, gauging his questions carefully.

“Oh, well, you see, that’s where the layers of skin come into play,” the man started as he sat up.

Gary listened intently, trying to catch any slip-ups. Mr. Joiner ranted about the dermis, the nerves, the needles, how certain inks could cause allergic reactions, and the transfer of skin infections through unsanitized equipment. Gary widened his eyes at the sudden idea.

“Do some places hurt more than others?” He cocked his head.

“Yes, they do,” Mr. Joiner chuckled, color in his cheeks.

“How do you know? Do you have a tattoo?”

Mr. Joiner sighed, almost ashamed.

“Yes, not very proud of it. I don’t remember getting it at all. It’s an angel wing tramp stamp with a halo,” the man explained.

Gary was caught off guard by the sinking in his gut. He felt sick like he was going to throw up. Gary got his answer. And, apparently, he wasn’t as ready for it as he thought he was. He slowly stood, nausea expanding in his throat like a pufferfish.

“Are you alright?” Mr. Joiner asked.

“I forgot my phone in the bathroom-“ Gart lied before he ran out of the class and down the hallway.

On the other side of campus, Jimmy and Pete hadn’t even come close to finding the mascot. They’d tried more obvious places like the weight room, gym, locker room, and even a few janitor’s closets. The only thing they found was two kids making out, gross. This journey was a total bummer.

“Wait,” Pete halted.

Jimmy turned. “What is it?”

“Where’s Gary?”

“I thought he was behind us.”

“Shit.”

“You search outside, and I’ll go in,” Jimmy said.

Pete nodded and quickly turned to hunt for his estranged cousin.

Jimmy sighed, catching up to a back entrance and pushing his way in. The main building was primarily empty. The only students that remained were those who sought trouble or academic assistance. Jimmy checked through the window of the classroom they’d been in, but it was void of any students, just Mr. Joiner passed out asleep on some test paper he had to grade.

He let out a heavy breath and turned to walk further down the hall. Jimmy casually waltzed by other classrooms and peeked in. No Gary. How hard was it to lose a sickly-looking, scraggly teenage boy with a massive scar on his face? Not hard at all. It was like Gary had just said, “screw you guys, I’m going home,” then vanished into thin air.

Jimmy looked at the boy’s bathroom. He ought to try looking in. Jimmy entered, and the smell of cheap cologne and urine permanently stained the air. He turned his head to stare at himself in the mirror. He looked weird in red. Jimmy couldn’t wait to get out of this stupid vest.

He heard a muffled cry.

Slowly, Jimmy looked to the row of stalls, glancing at the closed one. A pair of black combat boots were visible underneath.

Gary.

Jimmy quietly sighed before he knelt down, sliding under the stall door.

“Get the fuck out, moron!” Gary yelled at him.

“Gary, what’s wrong?’ Jimmy asked with furrowed brows as he stood.

“I said get out!”

“And I asked you what’s wrong.”

Gary caught his breath, teeth clenched down into his tongue.

Jimmy stared, watching Gary gather his thoughts. He’d never been a good comforter. He was the type to take vengeance on what had caused the wailing in the first place. Gary’s eyes were red and puffy. The tears made his cheeks glisten. Gary’s nose turned a tormented red from constant sniffling and blowing with dry single-ply toilet paper. He didn’t like this. It felt too heavy. You’d think that being so-called best friends, Jimmy and Gary would have no issue with seeing each other cry, but Jimmy hated it. He hated every moment he had to sit and watch Gary choke on tears and catch his breath.

“I know him,” was all Gary managed to belt out.

“Mr. Joiner?” Jimmy asked.

Gary nodded as he shielded his face, further irritating his raw skin with the material of the Heartland cardigan.

“Daniel Lamb,” he breathed, finally able to take a deep breath.

“Who’s he?”

“A guy my brother liked since high school. He cheated on his wife with him. He got institutionalized after he went psycho and decapitated his wife when their divorce was about to be finalized,” Gary explained, his eyes pinned to the ceiling.

Jimmy stood. He was at a loss for words as he processed what Gary had just said.

“How’d you figure it out?’ Jimmy asked.

“Told me he had an angel wing tramp stamp. Daniel and my brother got matching ones when they went to Mardi Gras in Cottonmouth, Louisiana, and got too drunk,” the brunette explained bitterly.

“I’ll text Pete that I found you,” Jimmy trailed off as he pulled out his flip phone.

With one slow-sending text, Pete was alerted and quickly made his way to the bathroom.

Gary stood over the sink and splashed his face with cold water while Jimmy patted him on the back.

Pete walked up, out of breath.

“Boy’s dorms. Found it,” he smiled.

“Sweet,” Jimmy grinned as Gary dried his face.

The trio then exited the bathroom, on their way outside and down south to where the dorms were. It did take some time, as they had zero memorization of the campus layout, but they eventually made it to the two-story dormitory.

Slipping inside, Jimmy was mad.

These kids lived almost like college students. The floors were dark shiny hardwood, and the lights weren’t constantly flickering. The walls were void of graffiti, an air hockey table in the lounge. The hallways didn't smell like cigarettes and weed either.

“Not gonna lie, stepping in here made me even madder,” Jimmy huffed.

“You can kick ass later, moron. Lead the way, Pete,” Gary said.

Pete confidently strutted down the hall and up a set of stairs to the second floor, bypassing a few students as they made their way down another hallway to a dead end. There was an open room, and the mascot was laid out on one of the beds.

JImmhy ran in and snatched the suit into his arms.

“Hey! Fuck are you in my dorm for?” A deep voice hollered.

The trio looked over, seeing a boy even shorted than Jimm across the room with his fists balled up. He sported a clean cut and a varsity jacket.

It was the fucker who tried him. Maverick.

“GO!” Jimmy yelled as he scrambled out of the dorm.

They almost fell down the stairs from the way they fell and tripped over each other’s feet. Frantic breathing escaped the three as they blasted it out of the dormitories. Now they had at least seven guys tailing them from behind, out for blood and bruises. Pete yelped as he pushed himself to go even faster. Maverick was practically breathing down his neck.

Jimmy skidded around the wall to the front gate, and from a distance, he could see a city bus. He began to call out and screamed for the driver to wait. Gary had been quick enough to grab their original vests, his tall strides keeping him out of reach from Maverick and his posse.

Pete was the first to get on, and Gary hauled ass not too far behind. Jimmy wheezed hard. His lungs burned, but he was almost there. Just a few more paces and Jimmy would be on. With one last sprint, he leaped onto the bus steps. He was safe. Jimmy fished a ten from his pocket and shoved it in the driver’s hands. The man grumbled in thanks as he hit the has.

When Jimmy found his seat beside Gary at the window, he leaned and looked at the vicious jock. He seemed to be screaming a stream of profanities and slurs, language far too colorful for even Ms. Philips to visualize. Jimmy slumped back down and tenderly held his mascot. Next time he’d lock it up better.

Gary turned to face Jimmy. “We need to get in Happy Volts. They have a bunch of records we can look at.”

“You think he killed her?”

“It’s a possibility,” he shrugged.

“I’ll see what I can do,” Jimmy leaned his head on Gary’s shoulder.

“Sleepy?” Gary raised his scarred brow.

Jimmy nodded and closed his eyes, slowly drifting off on Gary.

what vibes do you think the students get from teacher creelarke/how do you think they feel from henry? (examples dad, weird, fun, chill, neutral, uncle, etc?)

To most kids I think he’d come off a little kooky, a little reclusive, but not outright scary unless he’s trying to be (I know damn well The Stare can silence a room full of tweens). It’s really easy to get him on tangents, though, I’d think, so he would definitely be That Teacher who gets distracted from the actual lesson all the time. Definitely not super strict or outright mean. He’s got more of the "quiet older brother who became the Opinionated About Politics uncle" type vibe in general, I think.

(mind y’all this is canon divergence, so Henry is completely uninvolved with the villainous side of ST. There’s AU lore to that, but generally just note that Henry Creel has zero chance of being a Creep here)

As for the Party…they’d have mixed reviews.

Dustin clocks him immediately and is a Menace™ trying to prove that he and Scott are together. He does not fear Henry in any way. They’ve got the kind of relationship that a college kid might have with their favorite TA: He’s respectful most of the time, but definitely tends towards treating Henry like a peer. That man holds like Zero power over Dustin Henderson.

Mike, however, took one look at Henry and went “you ever see a man so soft-looking that there HAS to be something horribly wrong with him?” and that set the tone for their whole relationship. Coincidentally, that opens Henry up as a person Mike knows he can be a little asshole to and not incur Parental Consequences (see: El lashing out about Terry in NINA and being met with questions and engagement rather than punishment). They’re like two bitchy cats forced to share the same territory: too similar to coexist in harmony, but just different enough that they manage to make it work in a beneficial way. For them, it leans into that older brother dynamic in that they squabble, but Mike also Knows that Henry would come in with a steel chair if need be.

Lucas staunchly refuses to get involved in Dustin’s conspiracies (He already knows creelarke are all but married. He saw them holding hands once and that was all it took. He will not tell Dustin this, because it's far more entertaining to watch him rant and sleuth). He honestly just wants everyone to stop antagonizing the damn teacher so he can get his A without too much trouble. He sees Henry as weird, for sure, but generally harmless. It ends up becoming something closer to a “yeah this is the guy whose house we just…show up at whenever things start getting freaky again” type of trust.

Will and Henry have that gay-gay, artist-artist, autist-autist connection. Henry sees some of Will’s freaky gruesome DnD doodles on the back of his homework, and it’s like this scene from IASIP:

Henry with his black widow drawings vs Will with the dragon biting a guy's head off...They just Get It (and even more so once the actual plot sets in in 1983). "Same guy, different font" sort of thing. Henry sees Will go missing/get possessed in conjunction with HNL, and it's just "I think I've seen this film before...and I didn't like the ending".
