my new Antu centaur figurine (made by the same company as the BJD centaurs)! Her name is “Worries Cleaner”. I love her transparent legs and orange/light blue color scheme.

She has blushing on her face, ears, hands, and even her bum— I think it’s so funny.

Here she is compared to the BJD centaurs. Rather teeny lady 🥺

ok so. its time for the third round of ‘sara picked up a cool blind box mini bjd and wants to show you.’ you just have to bear with this

unlike the last two, who were both from the teennar campus set, this is one of the penny’s box dolls! specifically from antu dreamlike teaparty. isn’t she cute? and... can you figure out something interesting about her...?

yeah this set made the super interesting of doing Centaur Dolls. which is what caught my attention honestly.

the first antu line (which was not centaurs, just regular dolls) i think was the first of this recent wave of mini bjd that’s been happening, and while they’re cute they also felt a little... generic? they didn’t feel like they had strong personalities. i still feel like the teennar line is the Best in how each doll feels like a clear Character of the lines ive seen so far.

still though. i think the antu centaur dolls made a decent improvement in how they communicate character, but the centaur aspect really carries them the rest of the way. like. cmon.

(oh, and they of course stand and pose really well without any needed support. 4 legs advantage.)

i did also get lucky in my blind boxing this time in that Field is exactly the one i most hoped to get this time. i really like her vibe the best of this line <3

also dont Grapefruit and Field’s colors match nicely. hell yea. Buds

I’m trying something new! I’m going to repaint this ANTU Dreamlike Teaparty centaur into Quiescent! I’ve already got a little progress on it, but all my supplies just got here so I’ll make a thread of my journey!

doll unboxing 6: the final box

the last doll i have here is a dreamlike antu teaparty, from the daydream series

as you can see, i was exited to see which one i got and opened the box already lol.

here’s the one i got! checking the kikagoods website, this one is called gorgeous dreams. i couldn’t quite tell until i pulled the dress out, since the hair color is a bit similar to eccentric and light dreams. also, trans colors. slay :D

here she is freed from the plastic prison, and also, disassembled so you can see all the parts. this one has an additional headband piece with the hair and face plates

here she is all dressed up! absolutely gorgeous, and i really love her. the centaur body is just so unique and fun

mini bjd posting for myself again. i enjoy them

anyways i wasn’t sure about them at first but i ended up deciding the ufdoll meow meow girls were actually charmingly retro so i got one. and then i immediately did an outfit swap where field (the centaur) got her outfit, and she got strawberry’s outfit, (and strawberry was already in a dress the dollar store happened to have)

i think field looks really nice like this. i feel like i want to give my cat girl a neck accessory tho. like a bell. but im happy with her :) i like her having different proportions from everyone else

1. Antu Dreamlike Teaparty Centaur BJD’s

I’ve thought about these constantly since they were revealed. They’re just so SWEET 🥹. I have a couple coming in this week, I really hope I get the purple one!

2. Ddung Clown Doll

Ddung is a Korean doll line I just learned about! They seem to fall between collector and playline— the bodies are study & the outfits are very detailed and well-constructed. This clown is EVERYTHING

3. Licca Chan Bunny Outfit

Okay so this is an outfit FOR a doll and not a doll itself, but oh my god look at Licca’s fluffy bunny outfit!! UGH!! Basic Licca dolls can be relatively affordable. Plus, the clothing sets usually fit rainbow high 👀

4. Dorothy Forest Spirit

These are figures more than dolls, but I just adore these little deer ladies!! I have the one with the green raindrop dress, and I bring her around everywhere to keep me company. Their sitting position makes them so easy to display!

5. Teennar Campus Blindbox BJDs

They’re fruit themed, they’re fashionable, and they’re SO baby!! There’s also going to be a series of figurines and a set of Sakura-themed recolors for this line!
