I just realised, that the three Kang variants we saw in the (mid-?)credit scene, probably are the time keepers. Like the original ones.
Do you think it’s possible, that they originally installed the TVA and then the He-who-remains-Kang we know took over?
We‘ll probably find out, this is so interesting.

The antman movie was good except that it wasn't an Antman movie. It wasn't about Scott and his friends and family. Yes it was about Hope and hank and Janet, but his actual family was hardly in it, or not at all. Cassie was there, but where was cassies mom and Paxton? Where were Luis, Dave and Kurt? The people that actually have been a part of Scott's life and supported him through prison and house arrest. Not to make it fast and furious, but its not an antman movie without family and his family wasn't there

So... I watched the new Antman movie today. 👀
SPOILERS AHEAD, BE WARNED!
Okay, apart from the fact that I already have new Imagine ideas now, CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT WE FINALLY SAW OUR HUSBAND ON THE BIG SCREEN AGAIN?!
You have to watch the TikTok I just posted. I'm so stupid but seriously, I have no regrets! Did I scream from the top of my lungs? Yes. Did I scare the shit out of everybody? Yes. Am I sorry? Y-no.
That's gotta be Loki's Mobius, right? They found each other again, right? Oh, please, please, please! And um... Loki in a suit? Panties-wetting as usual. His concern is so real... Loki's truly gonna be a protector and saviour, guys, I'm calling it now!
Honestly, I really enjoyed the movie. It was a great introduction to the new baddie, I'm sure Jonathan Majors will excel! And well... He Who Remains was not wrong when he said his Variants are insane. Why are there so many of them?! Can I have that many Hiddleston Lokis too, please? I mean... if I could take one or two or three or four home with me, that would be awesome, thanks!

new movie just dropped
SO ANYWAYS I just saw Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania and here's what I thought.
SPOILERS AHEAD
1. It was fire
2. It was better than Thor: Love and Thunder (though thats not difficult)
3. I personally think it was better than Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness (blasphemy, I love Dr Strange, but it must be said)
4. I ALSO think it was better than Spider-man: No Way Home (more blasphemy, but NWH was kinda mostly fan service and I didn't like that real depressing ending)
5. The visuals were amazing.
5.5. World-building wasn't all that in-depth but it certainly was interesting.
6. The “We had a deal” bit where Scott got uber huge was fantastic, he was being serious for once (cuz of his daughter :3)
7. Cassie was somewhat funny.
8. ANTS.
9. Hank Pym actually made me like him more. Bro was truly an ant-man
10. MUDOK or MUDOFK or whatever his name was was weird and I kinda thought he was unnecessary but it certainly was a twist
11. The secrecy around what Janet did and the Quantum realm made me believe she actually did something horrible but gurl actually saved a bunch of timelines like what
12. Why the shit did Janet call Hank Henry at one point. Are they versions of the same name or??? Also were my ears deceiving me or did Kang call Janet Jared around the same time?
13. Kang = Kylo Ren
14. No I will not elaborate or apologize
15. I think they managed to make Kang a scary enough villain, and I think he was portrayed well. Comic fans will probably have a bunch of criticisms, but I liked him
16. Twas a little confusing around the whole multiverse/timelines/other Kangs thing but whatever
17. ANTS.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable movie and I definitely recommend it.

ANTMAN AND THE WASP QUANTUMANIA SPOILERS
Marvel trilogies go so hard
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Ironman 3, Tony destroyed the suits to let go of his obsession and paranoia to try to build a proper life for himself and Pepper.
In Captain America Civil War, Steve gives up the shield after refusing the accords and giving up any remaining patriotism, choosing his friends and family over his country.
In Thor Ragnorak, Thor’s hammer is destroyed by his sister as he finds out his father had lied to him his entire life, he then learns that Mjolnir is merely a tool and that he himself is the source of his power.
Not pictured but the third Avengers film is Infinity War and they lose. They lose the fight, half their people, their purpose, their morale, and each other.
In Spiderman No Way Home, Peter loses his family. He just lost Tony, no longer has any privacy, watches May die, loses everyone he’s ever known, and starts over from scratch with a suit he made himself.
In Antman and the Wasp Quantumania, Scott’s helmet breaks in his final fight. Very reminiscent of CW, his symbol — his protection — is damaged and cast aside in the heat of battle. Keep in mind that the helmets are crucial to Pym technology, shrinking without it causes irreparable changes to a person’s neurochemistry. There’s a reason that final duel was a fist fight, there was no escape. Scott is no trained fighter, but the very first time we meet him in the original Antman is him getting punched in the face. After all he’s been through, he’s still just a guy outmatched, but he’s never let that stop him before and it’s certainly not going to now.
In every third movie, the protagonist loses their symbol. What they’re known for — what they rely upon — is taken from them, willingly or otherwise. They’re stripped to the bare bones of who they are as people and are left to try to figure out what that means, how they make it out when they lose their sense of self and their source of strength.
