guys can i be honest i am so bored with bucktommy. i was sososo excited about them for their first eps in s7 but they haven't made me feel anything which is deeply disappointing because i really like them together in theory!!! im really hoping they get more screen time or it becomes more obvious that they know each other at ALL. they've been together for what, six months? i'm not catching romantic vibes from them at all. it sucks, cause i wanted to! even when tommy was taking care of buck in the apartment last ep, it was sweet, but it also felt staunchly like "i'm this guys good friend and im gonna make him go to bed cause he's sick" you know. maybe they just haven't had a lot to do on screen but im also waiting for them to have Plot instead of tommy just being around sometimes? i feel like they're not doing anything with him and he has the potential to be interesting. i just really don't like how they stopped making bucktommy a relationship after 7x05 lmfao they don't feel like boyfriends and i really think they should
#this isn't anti bucktommy at all#i WANT them together Right Now#but like. they're not doing anything#they need to have a plot again like when tommy flew the plane in s7#more of that#MAKE HIM INTERESTING!!!#i like him and i want him to have like More To Him ugh#i hate to say this but taylor was more involved with the show as a whole than tommy has been in a season and a half#also guys#not being 100% happy with something does not mean you don't like it#let's not pretend we haven't all seen supernatural#i can have gripes and still enjoy my shows let's calm down#evan buckley#tommy kinard#911#911 abc

That’s my bad for leaving it in the tags, here they are in case anyone needs context:
Once again you’ve articulated it perfectly, @jeanie205. No matter how much time passes I still find it just as infuriating and mind-boggling.
It’s so bizarre to me that Jrot didn’t even bother to have a discussion with Bob and Eliza, the two leads, about the significant changes involving their characters. This man who, during NYCC 2018, informed them that s6 was going to end with canon bellarke...is the same one who neglected to tell them about the relationship’s abrupt shift in trajectory from 6x11 onward. There’s the fact that Bob—who was directing the episode and had explicitly been told their characters were getting together—didn’t find out that would not actually be happening until he read the final script...the fact that he and Eliza—who’d played them as romantic for years and anticipated them getting together by the s6 finale—were never once told otherwise even though the writers had clearly decided to nix any romantic resolution whatsoever?? Both of them were kept in the dark about where the relationship was going, and that lack of direction made itself very apparent in s7 as the writers chose to scrap everything that had been well-established about Clarke and Bellamy for six seasons.
And then that left room for all the filler, cop-out romance you so clearly pointed out. Replacing Bellarke with Memori as the heroes??? Diminishing the strength of their relationship, both as lovers and leaders, and downplaying how integral it was to the core message of the show??? And don’t even get me started on how “love is weakness” prevailed in the end...I’ll stop there 🥴
I don’t agree with any interpretation that pigeonholes Bellamy and Clarke as “just friends.” But for argument’s sake, if you believe them to be a solid, strong friendship/familial dynamic, don’t you find it out-of-character that Clarke would quickly give up with no resistance and flippantly murder a person who means so much to her in cold blood over a sketchbook? Whether you ship them or not, whether you see it as romantic or platonic, you ought to agree with us shippers that the action makes no sense if you can admit there is a deeply-rooted, sturdy bond of some sort between them. Not even on Madi’s behalf. Not when two seasons prior, she voluntarily let Madi head into the war Clarke was hellbent on keeping her young charge out of. Let her go from where she was relatively safe on the sidelines specifically to save Bellamy. Not when one season before, she admitted it was a mistake to abandon him to the fighting pits, a consequence of the action she took to insulate Madi from Wonkru and Octavia’s reach. Not when Clarke reaffirms to Bellamy in the same scene how he is her family, too, just as well as Madi. You should find it the least bit suspicious how Clarke seems to have forgotten all of this in a handful of episodes. Enough to question the validity of Jason’s narrative choices. Why he would choose this path of the many for his leads at this close to the finale.
Unless, of course, you’re simply happy with his destruction of the ship that squared off against yours. Smug behind a thin veil that fools no one wise to your act in parroting back the instance when it all came crashing down for your notp and rival shippers.

My POV as a Black fan that thinks Dot and Bubble's racism commentary is trash
Rewatched Dot and Bubble and I'm gonna break down from my POV as a Black fan why this episode didn't work for me & why it's an awful racism commentary. Long arse post incoming:
The whole "You should've noticed the cast was all white except for fifteen ha your bias is showing" doesn't work for a show that's been predominantly white for 60+ years. D&B casting has been the default for most of the show so its not abnormal enough to be a racial litmus test. An example is the Matt Smith era The only reoccurring character of colour in s5 (2+ appearances) is Liz 10. Artie n Angie in s7. 0 in s6. RTD's own era isn't fully safe either. For many eps Martha or Mickey are the *only* Black characters. Most POC are side characters or extras.
White fans should be aware of the predominantly white casting of the show but this late in the game feels cheap. Most of the show has gone through 100% white episodes including fan faves and it was never an issue back then bc it was beneficial. This is so hollow. Representing racists as cartoon caricatures SEVERLY underestimates the danger of white supremacy irl. White supremacy is system designed and constructed and rebranded over centuries. It is not accidental. People aren't racist bc they don't know they're racist because they *do* They know the system that oppresses POC, Black people especially, benefits them socially and financially and that is why they participate. Its not stupidity it's intention. That should've been the Finetime core not Lindy goofing around bc the arrows are gone or some shit.
Human Nature showed us racist young people that exercised this power bc they knew this. They may be children but they are still dangerous bc of their views. Martha knew this. The silly tech obsessed gen z angle erases this danger and that of actual gen z white supremacy
Instead of the camp goofy tone we could've gotten a serious focused episode. The slugs and millenial/gen z social media silly distracts from what could've been the main theme of colonisation instead of saving it for 10 mins of exposition at the end & scattering microaggressions. Saving Fifteen's racism scene for a goofy episode was a horrid idea. Spending 30 mins on representing racism as silliness then giving a dramatic dangerous score is the definition of tonal whiplash. Representing his oppressor as a blonde bimbo again does not take this seriously. Fifteen went to 1960s BRITAIN & got through it unscathed. Finetime is a fictional futuristic land but the racism of 1960s Britain was real. If anytime was right it could've been Devil's Chord. Distancing yourself from a panto villain is easy but addressing your history is hard.
The scene itself is incredibly performed so I'll give Ncuti his flowers but what he used this skill for could've been so much more. Having his FIRST SCENE begging to save a racist is disgusting. It isn't Black people's responsibility to show compassion to people that want us dead. Yes the Doctor helps the baddies bc they care. But they're aren't ignorant to prejudice. The liberal anti racism of who is so jarring and why I still think Thin Ice is performative. When white people are angry at injustice it's radical. When it's Black people we're aggressive.
Respectability politics is a tool of white supremacy. That if one pleads and is nice enough they can earn liberation. What would white fans think of Fifteen if he DIDN'T beg Lindy? If your allyship with Black people depends on showing kindness to racists you are NOT an ally.
Next up is Ricky. It was established ALL Finetime citizens have white supremacist views yet Ricky September stans refuse to see him in any negative light. Just like Joan Redfern white dw fans refuse to see racism if a character is likeable. If nice guy Ricky's a racist, then anyone no matter the niceness can be racist too and that's a pill white fans aren't ready to swallow. If racism is systemic and not about individual character, then what's keeping them safe? What happens when YOU are under the microscope.
THIS is why we NEED Black writers in Doctor Who. The nuances, depth and complexity of the Black experience can only be told at it's best by Black creatives and not guessed, assumed or spoken over by white fans and white writers. It's okay to put ego aside and say you don't get it.
"Im white but I loved the Doctor's reaction" "I'm white and i thought the racism commentary was great" "I'm white but i-" Yet again, we have to sit through another round of white and non Black fans of colour dictating Black representation for us. I'm so fucking tired man. AGAIN IM YELLING FROM MY HILLTOP TO WATCH SHOWS BY BLACK WRITERS. Almost EVERY single theme in Dot and Bubble and frankly most of the show has been done WAY better in other media. RTD is not the authority on Black stories. We are. Always have been and always will.
Tl;dr Dot and Bubble is an unserious and tacky racism commentary. It's core message is drowned by more RTD Who camp. Don't tell me this episode was good at representating my own experience. It wasn't. S15 having Black writers isn't a need it's a must. Goodbye.

I flop back and forth constantly between pessimism and optimism regarding Buddie canon and the show.
But I will say this: if they never intend to make Buddie canon on the show - using Eddie as a bait and switch in 7x04 for Buck and Tommy is cruel. They know how much the fans love Buddie - and how there is a LARGE overlap between the fans who have been rallying for Bi Buck and the fans rallying for Buddie.
So if it’s not meant to be a path to Buddie - using Eddie for that storyline just to have Buck end up with another man is cruel. Not that I don’t think they’re capable of cruelty but I will be disappointed if that is the case. Cause if they wanted to do Bi Buck but had no intentions for Buddie, there are a million other ways they could have done that.
I absolutely 100% agree that if tim and the writers are doing all of this queerbaiting with eddie on top of what they’ve done with buck’s storyline so far it will be the most blatant and egregious example of ship baiting in tv history
it honestly enrages me that the fand even let tim get away with the bait and switch in 7x4 bc that was just fucking ridiculous and unnecessary, and the “reasons” they provided were bullshit imo…. there is literally a copious amount of ao3 fanfic out there that did a better job of introducing buck’s bisexuality without relying on baiting buddie fans just to throw him at a racist character.
i want to say that tim wouldn’t risk the fandom uproar that would potentially happen if this is the case but as ive said before i don’t trust that man after s7, and i fully believe he would hide behind all of the anti-buddie arguments that have been spouted off lately regardless of how much it would retcon shit that he himself intentionally wove into the storyline.
unfortunately i wouldn’t be surprised bc this wouldn’t be the first time a network tv show did this to its fans…. however it would be the first time a show gave into fanservice in the form of rewarding violent hate and bullying from a certain sect of the fandom which would make the whole ordeal that much more disappointing and disgusting.
but leave it to a white man to fuck things up, i guess 🤷 like ive said before until we get proof that tim is actually dedicating to fixing the fuckery he came up with in s7 i will not be tuning in to watch s8… like when it’s to the point where even your cast is fed up w the bullshit that’s when you know there’s an issue
(i could also get into the constant slap in the face they keep giving ryan/eddie every fucking season and how icky that makes me feel but that’s a discussion for another time)

Oh hi Damon 🙄
There's a huge difference between redemption and humanization. I feel like a lot of "redemption arcs" aren't actually redemption at all, they're just attempts to humanize the villain so that they seem multi-faceted, but people read them as "redemption arcs" and think that that is meant to justify all the evil they've done before and negate whatever made them a villain in the first place. I think true "redemption arcs" are actually kind of rare because true redemption would take making the villain acknowledge their crimes, reevaluate their actions, actively choose to do better, and then proceed to make amends and become a better person, and that would this take more time than most stories are allowed to give their characters.
I've also seen people argue that a character has to be poised for redemption from the jump for it to work because once a character does something "too bad", they can't be redeemed. I completely disagree because redemption isn't justification or forgiveness, so no matter how horrible a character's actions, they could choose to become better, but because a lot of people (including writers) think redemption means "erasing the character's flaws and making it so they did nothing wrong ever", a lot of attempted "redemption arcs" just end up erasing a character's entire history or justifying every evil thing they've ever done. And yeah, in these cases, the only way to make a character go from a villain to a perfect cinnamon roll with no flaws *is* to have been planning it from the beginning and make sure they never do anything that can't be explained away later.
TLDR: real redemption arcs require a lot of self-awareness, patience, and growth, which are things that are rarely actually allocated to villains, and that's why real redemption arcs almost never get executed. The reason people think redemption arcs are overdone is because there are so many attempts to either humanize a villain that get misconstrued as redemption or attempts to blatantly erase who a character was in the name of "redemption", which is really just poor character development.
#anti damon salvatore#anti delena#and if im being really controversial hi Spike too#which i know is a wildly unpopular take#but i dont think dying wipes piut everything you did#and my issue with Spike is that he howls for six weeks in a basement#then is totally fine with 100+ years of atrocities#and that's underlined by how he is in s7 with a soul#when he taunts Robin about killing his mum the Slayer#it's not as egreious as Damon Salvatore#but it's still not a proper redemption arc#*braces for the pitchforks*#sorry#anti spuffy#anti spike#sorta#anti the idea he has a perfect redemption arc at least

When I finished playing the last of us and watching The 100 (we don't talk about S7 in this house) I couldn't stand not having more content. The worldbuilding! The characters! The unflinching violence and grey moral compasses! I needed more!
So, to keep others from the dry pits of content like me, I give you Earth Sucks.
His mission is vengeance, but his enemy and the people he considered tools teach him there's more to life than surviving.
-bisexual, grumpy anti-hero -sunshine love interests -morally grey choices -aliens who grew up on "If humans were the scary ones" ideals, like the 2012 Tumblr threads -enemies to allies to friends to... -gritty worldbuilding -touch her/him and die -fleshed out cultures
You have an ex-merc in the apocalypse trading his services for information on the captured. There's a small, alien healer who was brought up on horror stories of his kind. And the gayest subtext growing into neon flashing lights. What's not to like?

All of this is so true.... I remember that a few weeks after the ending, I wrote something about how TIME would give us justice. As @sometimesrosy always said, the story was about THEM, and they were the heart of the plot, of the story, of the show.
The way other authors changed it in s7 can't erase what was written before, and how the actors played, and how music amplified all of this. And you're right, rewatching the show in a short time reveals it even better...
Here We go again Bellarke warriors, if you can hear me, it's been about 1680 days since I stopped caring (or so I thought)
I hadn't been to tumblr in years, before I decided to give the 100 a rewatch in June of this year, as I had given up somewhere around the start of season 5 (I remember hating the LONG ass timeskip teased at the end of S4, I guess some other media must have swallowed me during hiatus, and when I tried to give that season a chance I vividly remember 1) I couldn't see shit on my screen 2) I hated what the timeskip did to the established relationships) and so I dropped it for good, looking back I almost can't believe I could just...not finish it like that because let me tell you I did NOT fuck about Clarke and Bellamy, and Raven, and Monty, and probably some other characters back in 2015-2016. I think I maybe did not appreciate season 4 enough at the time it was airing (because I think binge-watching is very flattering for that season, watching it live I remember it was frustrating to watch the characters go on side quests in 4A) but now knowing what the character arcs are and where it was going makes it my second-favorite season. BUT, I digress, wow. This is meant to be a rambling, incohisive love letter to the compelling relationship between Bellamy and Clarke. I warn you, they truly do not fucking leave you as it turns out. I would go to the trenches for them back in my fandom days in 2015-17, and I realised, after binge-waching the show over 4 sleepless nights (seasons 1-6, which are the only seasons in existence, obviously)that I STILL just FUCKING CARE SO MUCH. I NEVER CARED ABOUT FICTIONAL CHARACTERS SO MUCH AS CARE FOR THESE TWO SEPARATELY, AND AS SOULMATES. Because let me tell you, Clarke and Bellamy, they fucking love each. Like actual, happens-only-in-romances LOVE. It is frankly INSANE how JRoth, K*m Shum and other managed to gaslight me over some of the bellarke scenes in S2-S3 as to make me think it's in my (and thousand's of fans') head WHEN IT IS SO FUCKING OBVIOUS FROM SCORE, EDITING CHOICES, LONGING LOOK SHOTS, HANDS SHOTS, LINES, AND FINALLY, ACTING AND DIRECTION THAT THESE TWO ARE LOVERS.
I have never, ever, before or since, followed two characters who were so compatible, so equal, so trusting in each other, so open with one another, so mindful of the other's emotions and needs, so so so made for each other, that it is no surprise to me that they are top 10 F/M pairing on AO3. Because Bellamy and Clarke would fall in love in every imaginable scenario, in every universe, across time. I am not usually that cheesy or cringy, but it is true. I could not put my finger on why they are my absolute favorite to read fanfic for and then it occurred to me. That as long as the hands of fate put these two in proximity of each other, it;s a done deal. That chemistry transcends the limits of a single tv show. The depth with how Clarke and Bellamy love each other honestly makes me pause for breath sometimes. It is not just the iconic, famous bellarke scenes, but also the quiet moments.
Like in 6x05 or 6x06 (cant remember) when Clarke's body was stolen by Josephine after her one-night stand with Cillian. (stay with me) Bellamy, unaware that Clarke isn't herself at that point, comes over to chat, he's clearly at least a bit jealous over her sleeping with Cillian, and yet he says "happiness looks good on you" with that wide, earnest smile. And just wow. How must he love her, to be so utterly happy for her own happiness that has in that instance nothing to do with him. so selfless. well, selfless is basically Bellamy's middle name.
Or how in season 4, after a lot of the characters and at times the narrative wanted to push this idea on Clarke that she is the sole leader of her people, gets right back on track to her co-leader dynamic with Bellamy, constantly checking with him, considering his input, and respecting choices that she herself would maybe not make (releasing the ensalved arkadians and grounders vs ensuring they get a machine necessary to generate water) but always understanding that these choices agree with his core values, and she loves him for it.
This post is way too long. I love Bellamy. I love Clarke. People often use the 'MY PARENTS" about ships on twitter, and you know what, in my case that's kinda true with bellarke. I met these characters when I was 15. I am 25 now, and with an adult perspective to my surprise I found their relationship even more profound then I remembered, and I was insanse about them already. They are truly THE power couple of all time. I miss the 100, If you wanna ramble about it together, feel welcome to send me ask, I'd love to have an excuse to share some of my (sometimes unpopular) opinions lol.

some gratuitous bellarke ranting
I wanted to discuss the implications of the decision process behind Bellarke not happening after a lovely fan shared an Interesting (*eye twitch*) piece of information given by Eliza during the recent Survival 5 convention.
It’s very telling just how mutually exclusive the question of whether or not to move forward with canon Bellarke was re the 100 writers deciding upon a happy vs tragic ending for the show:
Canon bellarke + the heroes triumph (hopeful ending) vs. the tragic destruction of bellarke + the battle is lost (bleak ending)
In other words, this confirms that if Bellamy and Clarke had actually gotten together then the writers wouldn’t have been able to go through with the trash, grimdark, hopeless ending they’d come up with as a potential resolution--why? Because Bellarke’s “together” (a.k.a. the consistent message of the show from s1-s6) was the epitome of hope in the 100, emblematic of goodness prevailing over darkness. The entire trajectory of the show and the way it ended was singlehandedly dependent on Bellamy and Clarke’s relationship, more specifically whether or not they became a canon romantic couple.
If they had gotten together, a hopeless ending would simply not be possible because Bellamy and Clarke working Together was always the paradigm for hope, redemption, and rebirth in a landscape of death and destruction.
It was an all-or-nothing decision re having Bellarke finally happen after years of buildup, which guaranteed a “happy” / hopeful ending for the show, vs callously destroying that relationship (by the heroine’s own hands, to add insult to injury), which ensured the end of the human race. Humanity was doomed after failing the final task, and procreation was no longer possible. They couldn’t “do better,” and there was no hope for a younger generation.
All that being said, it’s logical to conclude that the alternative ending that involved Bellarke becoming canon + saving the day (as they’ve always done) would’ve also entailed Bellamy and Clarke rebuilding the world and passing on Monty’s legacy of “doing better” to a younger generation--very likely Bellamy and Clarke’s own child, if you bother looking at the multitude of Kabby and Marper parallels the show has pushed, not to mention all of the ways that Bellamy and Clarke have acted as parental figures since s1.
Taken altogether, this only goes to show just how integral Bellarke’s romantic relationship was to the fundamental message of the show, which unsurprisingly crumbled to pieces after losing its backbone. Reflecting back on how many times JRot has tried diminishing the significance of their relationship and belittled fans for “misinterpreting” the blatant romantic subtext for Bellarke, all I can say is a big fuck you to him and to all of the writers who decided to erase six seasons worth of consistent storytelling in favor of a mediocre, half-baked, grimdark joke of an ending.
On a more positive note, everyone who continues to love Bellarke as much as I do can feel vindicated knowing that their power remains unmatched and that the 100 would be nothing without their relationship--working Together, side by side, as they were always meant to be 🤷♀

okay so these are my analyses of their relationship and different aspects of it with sprinkles of headcanons if you can pick them out of all this babble
mess it up - gracie abrams
okay so this was actually inspired by an edit i saw on t*ktok but it just captures the thiam essence so well because theo thinks he isn’t good enough. (comments say it applies to the fic airplanes by captainmintyfresh but i haven’t read it yet). anyway “we can make it better breaking every habit” and “pull myself together you can watch it happen” says it all really
the bottom - gracie abrams
again this is theo being self deprecating and thinking he’s no good for liam. i see this as theo and liam talking about their feelings very vaguely but managing to get the point across while also not revealing the reservations they have about starting a relationship (for reasons not about the other, but because of how they feel about themselves. see: theo). theo thinks liam shouldn’t be in love with him and doesn’t know how to accept it because he hasn’t accepted himself, but they’re still in a relationship because it’s the realest thing theo has and he doesn’t know how to let it go (he doesnt have to!!!)
aimed to kill - jade lemac
s5 thiam all the way. theo is just too in love with this innocent little beta. it seems predatory but i’m not going to interpret it that way because in my mind this is theo teasing liam and not actually following through with all his sexy threats because theo is still on a mission. this is what antis think when they say thiam is toxic and yknow what? yes. yes it is. what are they gonna do about it? these two are gonna lick blood off each other or i don’t want it
we go down together - dove cameron and khalid
holy SHIT this is the most thiam song ever. they are so ride for die each other (we all know they were lying in the elevator) and they fight each other to save each other because there’s no fucking point if they’re not together. it’s borderline obsessive and codependent of them but that’s the thiam i love best. i hate that i don’t have more words to describe this it just makes me speechless. just trust me on this besties.
anything 4 u - lany
this is a theo pov again with him wanting what he thinks he can’t have but trying anyway. he would do literally anything for liam. this is 100% canon. “sleep on the back of a beat up car” iykyk. this song is full of potential for thiam headcanons btw. theo is a fucking simp trying to make his way through beacon hills
wasted - demi lovato
this is thiam being completely obsessed with each other. they cannot function without one another and do not want to. they’re DRUNK and ADDICTED to each other and everyone knows it. just listen you’ll get it
4 ever 4 me - demi lovato
i like to think this song plays during a thiam montage right after they get together and drive off into the sunset. like if there was a s7 and they got together mtv would just make their own thaim edit to end the episode and it would have the best and highest rating out of all the episodes. like the tomatometer would be off the charts. thiam are so in love
luna - hayley kiyoko
okay obviously luna is a reference to werewolves and the full moon. these two just drive each other crazy. the emotion they pull out of each other is unparalleled. they just know each other at an inhuman level it’s almost incomprehensible but it IS and we UNDERSTAND and that’s why we’re so down bad for this ship
parking lot - claire rosinkranz
pre-thiam. this song pushes the homeless!theo agenda. lonely!theo. pining!theo. this is angsty thiam when liam doesn’t trust theo but still uses him.
stuck on us - claire rosinkranz and aidan bissett
this is a fun and fluffy thiam song in which they just drive drive drive and ofc liam is a passenger princess. they are absolutely stuck on each other and they don’t even try to hide it because why tf would they? this is them being actual teenagers for once with no worries and having the time of their lives by each other’s sides because that’s where they belong.
physical - dua lipa
there is no better song in this playlist that explains the title as well as this. physical altercations is their love language. (then, eventually, they get physical physical *wink*). it’s also very taunting in such a theoesque way and it’s just so lovable.
favorite crime - olivia rodrigo
theo is literally a murder, so he’s a criminal. liam loves him anyway and theo loves him too. this is liam defending theo to the pack and loving theo despite everything he’s done. loving liam is theo’s favorite crime. this situation is a hella lot less sad than for liv bc thaim stays on top, so ignore the actual meaning of this song to further the thiam agenda pretty please.
hate myself - tate mcrae
theo hates himself, that much is obvious. he has so many regrets and so much guilt that he doesn’t want to burden liam with especially because liam is part of that guilt. he shuts off when liam (and anyone) tries to get close to him because he doesn’t think he deserves love or anything good in his life, and if he gets it he thinks it won’t last and it’ll be his fault it doesn’t. this song a little harder to explain but either you get it or you don’t
outrun myself - jack kays and travis barker
this song is for the broken asf theo. he’s just stuck in his own emotions and he can’t get out no matter how hard he tries. he’s trying for liam but it’s so fucking hard. just when he thinks he might forgive himself a tiny bit his progress undos itself and he has to start all over again. this is less thiam but it i see it as theo’s thought process to believing he is worth liam and that he deserves him. it’s a tough process.
little bit louder - mimi webb
oof okay this is in liam’s pov because he just loves theo so fucking much but he’s scared that the intensity of his feelings will make theo pull away (even tho theo would love nothing more than for liam to declare his love for theo in the most obnoxious dramatic heartfelt way ever). liam knows he’s a lot and some people can only take him in small doses but theo has never been like that. theo has always accepted liam for who he is BUT now that their relationship has changed liam’s starting to second guess himself. (it works out in the end)
live without it - dylan
i see this song mostly in theo’s pov after he realizes he’s totally in love with liam and even though it might not have been a good decision he accepts it and wouldn’t have it any other way. except love is fucking terrifying for theo because of the everything about him but he needs liam like he needs to breathe and what the fuck when did that happen?? for liam, he is terrified of loving theo because he’s unlike anything liam is used to and he doesn’t want to fuck it up because he knows they belong together. just listen to the lyrics you’ll get it.
move me - charlie xcx
i see this in theo’s pov so he can’t see how much he really means to liam and is just stuck in his own head. this song encapsulates how codependent thiam are (or how i see them anyway) and even though they might totally hate each other they still have each other through everything because leaving the other behind is not an option for either of them
lightening - charlie xcx
i like to think this song applies to both pov’s. this is just them falling in love (ie the entirety of s6). i like to imagine them just chilling and they both just have this staggering realization that hits them like lightning (ha) and they’re just drinking each other in because how the FUCK is this real?? “my stupid heart can’t fight it” need i say more
crush - david archuleta
self explanatory. david archuleta applies to everything. also this is liam’s inner monologue after 6b absolutely oblivious that theo fell in love with him forfuckingever ago and was waiting for liam to catch up, but liam needs his dramatic early 2000s music video moment
and scene
okay here’s my incomplete thiam playlist
hope u like it
#quick someone analyze why i relate to theo so much#thaim#theo raeken#liam dunbar#teen wolf#exactly one person asked for this and i delivered#if there’s a thiam discord out there come find me#or if you wanna talk about thiam feel free to message me !

the fact that s7 really could have been about the characters finally building a life, a home, for themselves, the way each episode could have been a love letter to each of the characters you’d come to love, to revisit the journey their lives took, to reflect on be the good guys or maybe life should be about more than just surviving or anyway i still have hope, to be something that honored each of these characters who lived a long, painful life, to watch them heal from the pain and violence and allow themselves a life of trust and hope, to find love and safety in each other
the last season could have been so damn beautiful
#instead it's just about judgy aliens and how nothing matters because the human race is worthless and has to be erased from existence 🙄#series finales will ALWAYS be better when they honor their characters#rather than prioritize plot twists and shock value in their last moments#the 100#anti s7

The ONE THING i wanted from the end of the series was a satisfying ending for Clarke after all the shit the show has put her through
What we got was...not that
Currently angry, forever disappointed
I'm still so upset that Clarke's ending involves her having to spend the rest of her life without the two people she loves most. Even if you don't subscribe to Bellarke being romantic, the truth is that Bellamy was the second most important person to her. I know the ending of the show seemed sweet and all, with Clarke’s friends choosing to come be with her, but all I can think about is the fact that she's going to have to live with the knowledge that she killed the person who she loved almost more than anyone else to save the person she loved most, only to lose that person too. That's such a terrible thing to have to live with, and I hate that for her more than I can possibly say. The worst part is that it was so so unnecessary. Madi could have chosen to come back like the rest of Clarke's people, considering the fact that those who had been on the brink of death came back without their injuries (including Emori, despite the fact that her body had actually died, tf?). So why didn't she? As far as I can tell, the only reason is to make Clarke miserable. And don't say it's because The 100 is "realistic" or whatever, because Mackson, Memori, and Levitavia all got their happy endings. So why didn't Clarke, who spent the entire show protecting and sacrificing for others, get hers? It's just such fucking garbage.
I hate how the awfulness of season seven keeps hitting me in waves. I've spent the last year so excited about the end of this show, and jroth just ruined it.
Clarke haters don't interact.
EDIT: Anti Clarke comments will be deleted.
