Italy outlaws international surrogacy and its spun as a loss for gay rights. I hate this. Surrogacy isn’t illegal for just gay couples, it’s illegal for everyone under this law. It’s just that gay couples may have a harder time breaking this law.
No one has a right to a baby. No one has a right to use a woman’s body.
This is not about “targeting gay fathers”. It’s about protecting the rights of the women surrogacy exploits.

This isn’t a tra receipt but I had to share because this is gross. For context, this was on a post calling out surrogacy and its exploitative nature.
What an awful way to talk about children who are adopted, not to mention the shade to adoptive parents. You should want to have a child because you want to love them and take care of them, not because you want a mini-me or because you want them to look like you🙄

I just got blocked by this surrogacy agency on tik tok after I commented asking if they support women and their families financially if they are disabled or die while being a surrogate 🤭

“Not every person has the right to be a parent” is a sentiment I feel is widely accepted in leftist circles, referring largely to abusive households. But this doesn’t get taken to condemn surrogacy and egg-donating industries. Like Jesus Christ why do most leftists not care about this flavor of stuff when it financially exploits women, and subjects them to unnecessary harm? All just because it means infertile women and homosexual couples can have a different way to have children to raise? What happened to “having children isn’t a guaranteed right” Of course I know it’s because of misogyny, but good grief.

choice feminism really curbed female class consciousness because the amount of women who are advocating for prostitution and surrogacy as rights they and their rapist husbands deserve instead of actually seeing these exploited women as human beings worthy of dignity and in need of support is sickening. and then they have the gall to call it a feminist principle to advocate for their slavery and sale.
if he could do it to her, he would do it to you. if women are up for sale, we are all viable products, you selfish fucking pea brains.

It's funny how #they think a woman is a feeling and whatnot, till it's time for #them to exploit one as a surrogate. Then everyone seems to know and realizes who are the actual women.

Surrogacy is so fucking evil and I hate how wokies try and act like it’s a miracle that they can exploit a woman’s body so they could have a kid while there are millions of children in foster care or orphanages that need to be adopted.
They either don’t get how life threatening child birth is or they simply don’t care.
Labour is called labour for a reason.
Stop renting women’s bodies.

Internatioal Surrogacy is human trafficking of babies and the women used to create them.
MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration has intercepted a woman who was lured into becoming a surrogate mother.
Immigration officials intercepted the 34-year-old woman at the airport on January 15 as she attempted to board a Turkish Airlines flight to Cyprus. There she was allegedly scheduled to undergo an in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure.
Though she initially claimed to be traveling alone for leisure, immigration officers flagged her case after she inadvertently presented an IVF clinic invitation that contradicted her stated purpose of travel.
Further investigation revealed that the woman had agreed to serve as a surrogate mother for someone she met through a dating app, with promises of a P300,000 payment after giving birth.
In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Joel Viado warned that such schemes continue to proliferate, noting an increase in online advertisements for surrogacy and IVF-related services where victims are often pressured to comply with specific laboratory requirements.
"We warn females not to be tempted to agree to such schemes as this is a clear form of trafficking," Viado said.
The victim has been referred to the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking for assistance.

One of the ways in which modern liberalism goes wrong in ethics is its singular focus on consent. Don’t get me wrong, consent is always necessary is any type of relation or exchange between individuals, but it isn’t sufficient.
This is why modern liberals will see nothing wrong with bdsm, pornography, surrogacy, or cosmetic surgery. “If both parties consent, then what’s the problem?” they’ll say.
There needs to be ethical standards for how we treat other people, regardless of if individuals think they are worthy of being treated by those standards. This concept is already recognized in most legal systems. If I sign a form saying that you can kill me whenever you feel like it, you would still be culpable for murder if you followed through.
Women are the ones who lose out when this concept is not applied. We have been conditioned to believe that we are not worthy of being treated right, so we allow others to take advantage of us. Consent being by the only moral consideration people care about takes advantage of this fact.

Are we seriously still pro-surrogacy in 2025🥴
“Ugh, workers are soo exploited under capitalism! It’s such a predatory system!” -Libfems
“No, surrogacy is 100% ethical! Shut up you radfem! They aren’t exploited at all, they made the choice! It’s not buying a baby, it’s paying for a service😡” -also libfems
Funny how libfems will gladly call out worker exploitation and abuse, but as soon as it comes to sex work and surrogacy, that argument goes out the window. I think libfems honestly believe that any “choice” a woman makes is a feminist action, and that it’s somehow misogynistic to criticize any of those “choices.”

"We're having a baby via surrogate" You're buying a child and exploiting a woman and her body. At the very least, have the courage to call it what it is. Regardless of what you think about surrogacy, the reality is that it perpetuates systems of exploitation. The focus is always shifted away from the emotional and physical toll on the woman carrying the child, and it shouldn't be. You are not having a baby; she is.

To commodify the female sex is to commodify the human woman. You are not purchasing a woman's labour when you buy a surrogate or prostitute. By purchasing the use of her sex, you are purchasing the woman herself. Unlike a worker, the woman is not using her body to perform a skill. The woman herself is a masturbatory organ or a baby slot machine. Everyone but the woman is using herself. Especially since she foregoes the capacity to reject anything done to her person (that is her body) against her will without risking death by starvation, murder, etc. In these cases, since she is selling her person, she is also selling her autonomy which means she has no agency practically or legally. Hence, these can in no way be considered empowering.
Even under regulated standards (of which, let's be serious, those are like 1 in a million), the principle of no human having the right to buy or purchase another human is not something any ethical human being should bother arguing about. It is a fundamental.
FYI this post will only make sense to people who see woman as human and deserving of basic human dignities.

The absolute dystopian horror that is commercial surrogacy where western privileged women buy the bodies of poorer women in the Global South. The way so many celebrity women have done it. Just the absolute height of patriarchal capitalism, in a world where we’re so disconnected from our bodies, and our communities, and everything must be a commodity. It’s all so banal and surreal and people are so focused on the hypothetical situation where it could be moral instead of the reality. How can you see Ukrainian women being made to “rent out” their wombs in a war and condone this.

A few days ago, the Greek police dismantled a human trafficking network that was exploiting women, calling it "altruistic surrogacy." The victims were mainly Romani women from Bulgaria and Romania (source).
