Selina is not Damian’s mother. Selina has called Damian vapid and annoying before.

This is one of the most classic ways to whitewash Damian, besides trying to make Damian’s mother be someone else is just odd, why would you do that? It’s weirdly misogynistic. No matter how terrible you think Talia is, she will always be his mother.

Bruce has literally chosen Seilna over Damian, neglecting him and overall, would it not be odd to see your father continuously be with another woman? A woman who’s literally not your mother.

The funny thing about my post that was kindly explaining to Selina stans where Talia fans were coming from is that I had someone bring up a totally irrelevant point as a “gotcha.” Then I was told I was “barking up the wrong tree” making it clear they were being intentionally obtuse and having selective memory of the harassment and shit that Ram V has gone through. The harassment and shit that they put him through.

Last couple of years I've noticed anti's have been a pushing to seperate Selina from the Batfamily and make up a narrative about Selina hating/ not wanting children. It's such a blatant and transparent attempt to prop up legitimise their own preferred ship. It's particularly egregious because it's always phrased in such a disingenuous way, acting like they're doing Selina's character a favour by erasing one of her major personality traits which has preserved in comics for 80 years.

Idk.. I just find it so gross how people fake concern about Selina by trying to tear her away from the batfamily and children, ignoring and disregarding Selina's actual character and personality under the guise of "feminism".
