when was a fellow kpop fan gonna tell me Oli London is a fucking israeli supporter and anti palestine? The last I remember of this man was him getting surgery after surgery-and I just looked him up for no reason to find out he's fucking pro-irsrael? Gimme a break, the white supremacy and racism is so clear in him. Like genuinely shocked rn when I shouldn't be because a white man who was so comfortable cosplaying and fetishisizng Asian men is bound to be a racist and anti arab. His tweets are downright disgusting, its the way he's purposely ignoring what israel has done to instead paint them as victims eww.

The absolute irony of Oli London of all people having something to say about Chris going on HRT.
The same man that came out as identifying as Jimin. The same guy who got numerous surgeries and said his pronouns were Korean/Jimin. The same man who later came out as a genderfluid Korean trans woman. The same man who is now denouncing trans people and using himself as an example of why "trans ideology is bad."
Anything for a crumb of attention, I guess.
(Do not turn this post into transid discourse. This is specifically about Oli London's use of identity to garner attention and now using his platform to harm the trans community.)

The official Israel twitter account retweeted a tweet from Oli London on February 6th (since deleted)
Theses are some of the other recent things Oli London has tweeted (besides from his Transphobic tweets)
I don’t know why out of everyone that supports them they decided to retweet Oli London. I am not surprised that they have un retweeted that.

Had you heard about oli london? He went from transkorean transgender to a vocally transphobe. It's telling how transids are close to transphobic
Who hasn’t? And yeah, def very telling how he quickly became extremely transphobic, and now prats are letting “transterfs” and “transtransphobes” into their community.

If you ever think the radqueer community is wrong by despising "survivors of the radqueer community", just think of Oli London.
He labeled himself as queer and was transrace. Now he hates queer people and trace people, says they're all the same mob of horribleness, and thrashes trans people because he's now christian and doesn't identify with those "beliefs".
Do you really think he was right? If yes, you're just a bigot, congratulations, but if not, where do you draw the line? At hating "actual queer people"? At hating "an actual minority"? Because I've never seen a non-queer radqueer. I've never seen a radqueer who's never been oppressed in any way. And with the amount of hate we've gotten, you can bet (and I know it's true) that a lot of antis are bigoted. I've seen antis be so straight up ableist while "fighting against ableism", I've seen them call radqueers the r slur and say horrible shit. And you can't say that's not a majority, I've never seen an anti who isn't conservative-coded and doesn't spew bigoted bullshit.
Because the nature of antis is segregation between binaries that don't exist as a binary. Disabled vs abled is not a binary, yet I've seen antis say that people can never become disabled, which is just stupid. As a white latino, POC vs white is not a binary I fall into, yet they really want to separate those and say people can never ever identify as something other than what they're born and perceived as.
They want to separate them because it's less confusing and less problematic. They want to maintain the status quo of never letting minorities become privileged as an identity (e.g. transwhiteness and nullabledness), and of never letting privileged people identify with minorities. Privilege or minority status will likely never leave us and we're not saying it will, but muddying the waters will never be something less than good. Because that only empowers.
In my humble opinion, saying disability and other minority status is desirable and inherently neutral or good, is not harmful. Because the other option is saying disability and other minority status is inherently undesirable regardless of how the disabled person or minority feels about it.
Anyway. I have said this multiple times, but having a distinct line between privilege status and minority status that no one can cross is not a good thing and will never be.

now why was THIS the way I found out that Oli London transitioned to become a right wing “voice of the anti gender movement” commentator? he apparently wrote some sob story memoir (absolutely ghostwritten btw, man can’t string a sentence together) about how American schools gave him dysphoria - conveniently leaves out the part where he tried to transition to being KOREAN

Honest question because I'm confuzzled.
You have both radqueer and exclusionist in your dni. Isn't radqueer just someone who isn't an exclusionist, aka someone for all good faith identities? So it wouldn't make sense to be dni for those two because that would be like being "everyone dni"?
Asking because I want to know if I can follow and also if I'm defining myself wrong by misunderstanding a label lol
what ur talking about is radinclus or radinclusive-someone who accepts people with "contradictory" labels such as mspec lesbians and gays, gay girls (a label which i use for Reasons which I don't feel like explaining rn) and lesboys.
A radqueer on the other hand believes in harmful labels (i mean that literally and you'll understand why in a sec) that people can be things like trace (trans race, think oli london).
they also believe people can be transage and while i do believe in age regression radqueers often believe that a minor who's tranage is an adult can do things like consent to have sex with adults and stuff like that which noooo.
they also believe you can be trans neurodivergent or trans mentally ill. which as a neurodivergerent person that's just sooo ablest. I've seen radqueers say that trans autistic people (aka people who want to be autistic but aren't) are just as autistic as "cis autistic" people (acutally autistic people). I've even seen some say that transdisabled people deserve the same disability aids as "cis disabled" people (aka people with actual disabilities) if that acutally happened resources that could go to people who need them would go to people who are perfectly abled.
some radqueer labels I've seen are "transnazi" "transharmful" (like i said- literally harmful label) "transharmed" "transabuser" "trans abused" "trans cult survivor".
A "trans abuser" is someone who "wants to be or feels like they are an abuser even though they aren't". same thing with trans nazi. I've also heard some radqueers say you can be a trans nazi because you want to be a nazi but don't agree with nazism or like the "nazi aesthetic" (i wish i was joking but that's something someone's said). I shouldn't have to explain why that's bad.
and a "trans cult survivor" and "trans abused" are people that haven't survived a cult or been abused but want to or believe they should be. I also shouldn't have to explain why that's bad and extremely insensitive to people who've actually been abused.
I've also seen wayyy too many radqueers be pro contact for harmful paraphilias. I've seen some that are anti contact but in my personal experience most are pro contact.

Happy Pride month to the……Non-men, Gays and Bi-sexuals. 🤦🏻♀️ But of course gay men are still men. 🤦🏻♀️
Outrage has been expressed online at Johns Hopkins University over its non-binary-inclusive definition of "lesbian" in its glossary of LGBTQ+ terms.
The Baltimore-based university, a major hub of medical research in the U.S., maintains an extensive glossary of definitions for terms relevant to the broad LGBTQ+ community, which is updated as the subject of gender and sexual identity changes.
On Monday, the glossary's new definition of "lesbian" came under attack as the university defined the term as "a non-man attracted to non-men." The update is meant to be inclusive of non-binary individuals who might still identify as lesbians.
Social media users accused Johns Hopkins of attempting to "erase" women. They also pointed to the glossary's listing for "gay man," which does not use similarly non-binary-inclusive language.
The flare-up comes amid a broader backlash to LGBTQ+ rights and the embrace of queer communities by society. Numerous state legislatures across the U.S. have begun passing laws that target transgender communities, taking particular aim at the ability to get gender-affirming care for trans children. There has also been a vocal, if not definitively widespread, lashing out against companies and brands that market to LGBTQ+ communities or hold Pride Month events.
Newsweek has reached out to Johns Hopkins via email for comment.
The definition prompted a backlash on social media. LGBTQ+ influencer and lesbian vlogger Arielle Scarcella tweeted: "Why is a lesbian a non-man but a gay person isn't a non-woman? Progressive misogyny."
Twitter user Amy Curtis added: "What is this absolute nonsense... We are women."
Oli London, who is a critic of "gender ideology," also waded in, as did British TV talk show presenter Julia Hartley-Brewer, who tweeted: "What the actual f....? So now we're not just reduced to being body parts or bleeders or a mere subset of women, we're now 'non-men'."
Gay rights activist Fred Sargeant added: "Inarguably, modern times are now the stupidest time and universities are leading the way.."
The definition provided by Johns Hopkins is notably distinct from those in similar LGBTQ+ glossaries maintained by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
The HRC's first sentence in its definition of lesbian reads: "A woman who is emotionally, romantically or sexually attracted to other women." There is a second sentence adding that non-binary people may use the term to describe themselves.
The ADL's glossary defines lesbian as a "woman who is emotionally, physically and/or romantically attracted to some other women."

Too many books came in at the same time from my library queue, so @redheadgleek suggests a poll and yes, let’s poll! Y’all can see my… varied reading interests lol
What should I read next?
Daughter from the Dark: Late one night, fate brings together DJ Aspirin and ten-year-old Alyona. After he tries to save her from imminent danger, she ends up at his apartment. But in the morning sinister doubts set in. Who is Alyona? A young con artist? A plant for a nefarious blackmailer? Or perhaps a long-lost daughter Aspirin never knew existed? Whoever this mysterious girl is, she now refuses to leave.
The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett: Wanting to organize an assisted death on her own terms, world-weary octogenarian Eudora Honeysett forges an unexpected bond with exuberant ten-year-old Rose, who drags her to tea parties, shopping sprees, and other social excursions.
Flesh and Bone and Water: André is a listless Brazilian teenager and the son of a successful plastic surgeon who lives a life of wealth and privilege, shuttling between the hot sands of Ipanema beach and his family's luxurious penthouse apartment. In 1985, when he is just 16, André's mother is killed in a car accident. Clouded with grief, André's father loses himself in his work while André spends his evenings in the family apartment with Luana, the beautiful daughter of the family's maid. Three decades later, and now a successful surgeon himself, André is a middle-aged father, living in London, and recently separated. One day he receives an unexpected letter from Luana, which begins to reveal the other side of their story, a story André has long repressed.
Geek Love: The Binewskis are a carny family whose mater- and paterfamilias set out-- with the help of amphetamine, arsenic, and radioisotopes-- to breed their own exhibit of human oddities. There is Arturo the Aquaboy, who has flippers for limbs and a megalomaniac ambition worthy of Genghis Khan. Iphy and Elly, the lissome Siamese twins. Albino hunchback Oly. And the outwardly normal Chick, whose mysterious gifts make him the family's most precious-- and dangerous-- asset. As they set out across the U.S., family values will never be the same.
Same Bed Different Dreams: March 1919. Far-flung Korean patriots establish the Korean Provisional Government to protest the Japanese occupation of their country. This government-in-exile proves mostly symbolic, its petitions ignored by heads of state as Korea's nationhood is erased. After Japan's defeat in World War II, the KPG dissolves and civil war erupts, resulting in the North-South split that remains today. But what if the KPG still existed now, today-working toward a unified Korea, secretly harnessing the might of a giant tech company to further its aims?
Unholy: why white evangelicals worship at the altar of Donald Trump: Fueled by an anti-democratic impulse, and united by this narrative of reverse victimization, the religious right and the alt-right support a common agenda--and are actively using the erosion of democratic norms to roll back civil rights advances, stock the judiciary with hard-right judges, defang and deregulate federal agencies, and undermine the credibility of the free press. Increasingly, this formidable bloc is also forging ties with European far right groups, giving momentum to a truly global movement forecasted to last long after the Trump era.
Comemadre: In the outskirts of Buenos Aires in 1907, a doctor becomes involved in a misguided experiment that investigates the threshold between life and death. One hundred years later, a celebrated artist goes to extremes in search of aesthetic transformation, turning himself into an art object.
I Who Have Never Known Men: A young woman is kept in a cage underground with thirty-nine other females, guarded by armed men who never speak; her crimes unremembered... if indeed there were crimes.
Road of Bones: Kolyma Highway, otherwise known as the Road of Bones, is a 1200 mile stretch of Siberian road where winter temperatures can drop as low as sixty degrees below zero. Felix Teigland, or "Teig," is a documentary producer, and when he learns about the Road of Bones, he realizes he's stumbled upon untapped potential. Accompanied by his camera operator, Teig hires a local Yakut guide to take them to Oymyakon, the coldest settlement on Earth. Teig is fascinated by the culture along the Road of Bones, and encounters strange characters on the way to the Oymyakon, but when the team arrives, they find the village mysteriously abandoned apart from a mysterious nine-year-old girl. Then, chaos ensues.

Do you know why I’ve never really given attention to prats stealing my characters?
Because they’ll never be accepted by society.
They can take our characters and draw cartoons to “own the antis!!1!”
But they’ll never be accepted by society.
Oli London? Rachel Dolezal? Hypnotist Sappho?
They were all rightfully ridiculed and ostracized for their actions.
Next time a prat tries to bully you or argue with you or piss you off, just remember:
Prats will never be accepted by society.

Excuse me... are antis actually siding with Oli London? Apologies if this is wrong, but ain't that the dude who claims to be trans racial and is trying to make himself look Asian while also being a transphobe? If so, antis literally have no fucking self awareness.
yeah but what else is new

you remember oli london? that really gross nonbinary person who had surgeries to try and look korean?
he is now claiming to be a detransitioner - even though as far as we are aware he never had any gender affirming care - and posting anti-trans shit just to get money out of right wingers 😬
it was pretty obvious he was someone doing all this for like online prominence anyway with some of the shit he was coming out with, but this just confirms it tbqh.

I don’t want to be that person but when Oli London exposed a transgender politician over chilumi genshin ship art he claimed was “Lolita art” (as in loli hentai) antis gleefully sided with the transphobe and said “how does it feel when not even politicians like your ship?”
Besides a lot of antis repeat conservative talking points like “if you ship/like _ you are a bad person/condone it irl, fiction affects reality, it has the power to corrupt”
We literally have a book called “seduction of the innocent” where comic books are blamed for teaching children to misbehave. I don’t think they’re far off from fascism, even if most of what they’re against is just about fiction
Honestly I'm puzzling over this because I don't know what That Person you'd be by agreeing that antis are way too in step with conservative fascist stuff
#like yeah that's what I was saying in the post#not trying to be rude I'm just genuinely confused by the opening#replies#anonymous
