When objectively speaking..he comes off far more masculine than Naruto(even Itachi) and I think kishi made sure to highlight it because Sasuke IS supposed to be superior to everyone in konoha 11...thats is the core reason of naruto and sakura's(their fans as well) insecurities

Sex is used as a means of obtaining power, as the sexual act is a reflection of the sentimental relationship of the characters, they tend to put the character they consider superior in the "penetrating" position of the relationship and usually link this role with the masculine/dominant condition, while the "penetrated", that is, the one they consider the weaker of the two, is cataloged as the feminine/submissive one.

Sasuke's particular beauty is another reason, since delicacy and beauty are characteristics usually associated with the feminine; while strong and hard features are related to the masculine.

I wrote something about this topic, so I'll copy it here:

Addition: Male characters that either present culturally associated female behaviors or male characters that the fandom perceives as female-coded. This specific point is more inclined towards, in its majority, yaoi shippers (such a fanbase mostly consists of female readers) that create and develop romantic dynamics between two or more male characters. The creation of such relationships isn’t bad or toxic per se, however, many of these fans portray these types of relationships with a heteronormative premise, in doing so, they give one of the two characters involved female-coded behaviors. It’s interesting to note how most of the time the male characters that the fandom links to such prototypical feminine conducts are Uchiha characters (particularly Sasuke and Madara), which are both the most beautifully designed (it’s often brought up in the manga how alluring they are), and the ones canonically accused of having a “biological” condition that makes them too emotional and therefore dangerous. It’s, again, a patriarchal and misogynistic mindset that associates females (or the characters associated with such archetypal conduct) with emotional responses due to biological conditions that they have no control of in order to diminish their merits, dismiss their ideas, downgrade their participation in government affairs and deny them of any political power. [And let’s not forget that many of the people reproducing such beliefs also consider themselves “feminists” whose idea of activism is creating female characters that follow the patriarchal standard analyzed previously -like many Sakura fix-it fanfictions]. Furthermore, they “balance” such chaotic behavior from the female-coded characters by pairing them with “virile” characters (often using Naruto, Hashirama, and Tobirama) that are able to “control” and/or withstand the emotional responses from their partners. It’s still a sexist mindset and conduct that gets merged with their idea of feminism, destroying the actual purpose of the movement and consequentially reproducing both the misogynistic values that downgrade and/or diminish women (and males with female-coded behaviors) and fetishize LGTB+ relationships, reducing them to a prototypical patriarchal heteronormative dynamic.

Moments in a manga don't exist in a vacuum — they operate within the larger context of the text.

In 698, Sasuke experiences pain that causes his sharingan to weaken. Literally 9 pages later, in the same exact chapter, Naruto and Sasuke acheive the beginnings of resolution are sparked by Naruto indicating that he feels pain when he sees Sasuke suffering. Naruto's admittance leads to Sasuke also acknowledging that he felt pain when he saw Naruto suffering, and Naruto is singled out visually and textually singled out in Sasuke's monolgue because Sasuke STILL feels pain when he sees Naruto suffering, as he was never able to completely sever ties with him.

In 699, one chapter after Sasuke experiences that pain, he affirms that he and Naruto are able to share eachother's pain.

Once you see the scenes in the full context it becomes even more obvious that the pain Sasuke experienced was mental and that his actions were the final piece of foreshadowing before him and Naruto settle their feelings. You know, meant to set up the emotional expectations of Sasuke's behavior that is again, explained literally 9 pages later.

But in order to be a Naruto het shipper, you have to thrive on decontextualized scenes to make sense of pairings that are thoroughly lacking, and that decontextualized analysis extends to pairings besides their own — especially Narusasu. Because let's face it, Sasuke and Naruto are infinitely more romantic than any of the other pairings combined so they to discredit it by any means necessary, even if means claiming that in the same chapter Naruto and Sasuke affirm that they both experienced mental pain for eachother, the pain Sasuke experienced while looking into Naruto's inescapable gaze was a random physical phenomenon that was wholly unconnected to Naruto. Even the antis know it's a classic romantic moment.

Guys, there's currently an anti that's harassing the sasusaku and naruhina fandom by crosstaging or jumping on positive pro ship posts with aggressive anti behavior. They're a narusaku/narusasu/sasukarin shipper. Even if they are told to stop they seem a bit too adamant to keep harassing fans of the pairing sasusaku/and naruhina. Mostly they seem to keep trying to harass sasusaku fans. If you want to block them their username is antisasukeretsudenantisasusaku

Hello! What do you think of SNS shippers who make it very clear they only ship either Sasunaru or Narusasu? I’ve mostly seen Sasunaru shippers putting stuff in their bio like "Sasunaru 🔄❌" or "Sasunaru only, Narusasu DNI" and I find it pretty sad. If the only thing you like/ think about in Sasuke and Naruto’s relationship is the sexual aspect of their relationship… Then I don’t think you even like the pairing.

It just feels like the pairing is a way for them to self insert into a character, because they make an obsession of this top/bottom stuff… it’s just ridiculous to me. And sometimes it honestly sound… fetishizing of gay people.

Like, how does one favorite sexual’s position change the way they act with others? How does it could impact the way they are?

Ah, I understand what you mean, but I would approach this a little bit differently though. The issues that you bring up are included in that excruciatingly exhausting t/b-discourse and addressing these requires a lot of patience that I don’t even have, nor the energy. And then there’s this whole thing about what SNS even means when differentiated through an order in names in such a picky way, and why. Which, in the context of canon/headcanon, the story/fanwork, won’t even bring the same answer nor do people even agree in the first place. I’ve seen the most insane takes about it where pretty much an equal amount agrees and disagrees. (Hence the length of the discourse I guess.) Using SN/NS (in tags for example) done by very large groups of different people, isn’t always to indicate the same things as a (strict) t/b-preference (and I’m using the word ‘preference’ very lightly here) or a character dynamic- (for which there are endless different types, isn’t always mutual in literature and isn’t determined by just this one thing but relies on context)- aren’t the same.

So anyway, it really isn’t worth it :’)  

In conclusion about the approach though, your conjecture didn’t really specify why you think there is a positive correlation between ‘SN/NS’ and the sexual aspect/’t/b’, but this basically has your ask state that ‘because A is true, B is also true (and therefore C, D, etc- as well)’ "so now, what do you think of it?". That makes it very hard to answer without unloading it in the first place, dykwim?

So, I’m left to assume that you either really think that is the case (which it isn’t always), or you may mean the obsessive behavior that you’re referring to specifically, that then results in the other things. The ‘anti-ing’ of ‘the other’, creating unnecessary oppositions, harassing and dogpiling creators, policing tags, etc- It’s a different approach because one says the cause is simply a ‘preference’ one may have on its own and the other faults the behavior first that possibly can come with such a preference. I’m pointing it out only because I think it’s an important distinction to make as that (the latter) is a (relatively) small number of people in the end, but frankly, aside from tag-policing (even on my sfw art)- they are none of my business ┐(´ー｀)┌

It angers me to think about this.

Team 7 was apparently a team for barley 6 months. Sasuke spend barley 6 months with them. Then comes minus 1 month for the preparation for the chuunin exam (training with kakashi) and Sasukes 1 month hospital stay (after his beloved saint brother tortured him mentally and physically for hours).

So after the chuunin exam Team 7 had no mission together and after our saints visit Sasuke was not in the picture anymore for a long time till they brought that gambler into the village.

So you want to tell me, that Naruto, that blond fascist brat... chased after Sasuke for years.. he chased after someone he barely knew for 4!! damn months??

And he talks about commaradeship, friendship and brotherhood bullshit to someone he tied up at the beginning of the manga because he was fucking jealous? In the beginning in the manga it was said that Naruto is not a hard worker, he barely doesn't do anything. He doesn't train, doesn't study, doesn't work on himself but was mad and jealous over Sasuke cuz he was perfect at everything because he was not only a prodigy but because he worked hard, studied hard, worked on himself. A sharingan alone did not make him great. Hell even if the sharingan was taken away from him, he would still be the best because he's a hardworking guy. But take away Kurama from Naruto and he's nothing. A mere loser.

So after what kind of "friendship" is that blond shit after? Sasuke doesn't liked Naruto at all. Yes he helped his ass and that pink garbage ass out and that's it. And no, he doesn't had "special feelings" to pink shit. Sasuke helps everyone because he is not a shithead who helps people only to gain something in return. He does not abuse people or take advantage of them. He's a good guy that's why he helped and protected them. But on a personal level he didn't liked them.
