During all my life, people came at me with full intent to kill me or seriously hurt me for the most stupid reasons. Because they wanted to prove themselves. Because they were insane and believed their purpose in life was to be a mass murderer. To bring me back "home" (aka the place that murdered my family). Based on false accusations. Because I was "evil". Or just because.
But somehow all those are heroes that get everyone's sympathy and I am the villain of the "curse of hatred".

Anti-Pines designs so far !
Tumblr media
Finally finished these guys !! I procrastinated a little but they're here ! I think I captured the energies for the characters that I was really going for ! :D
For the characters with the "Anti-[Name]/[Name]" the second name listed is what they actually go by in their dimension ! For the others it's unchanged
A couple simple close-ups below cut

Brennan Lee Mulligan and Sam Reich on the exploitations of capitalism and the love of work on Adventuring Academy S5 E1
ALT ID:
Brennan Lee Mulligan: "[I hit a chord] where I was like, well, work is not capitalism. Capitalism is the exploitation of another's labor. The exploitation is the bad part .... Like things do need to be created .... Like food needs to move from Point A to Point B. Like work is beautiful.
Sam Reich: For sure, for sure.
Brennan: And it's the fact that we denigrate certain kinds of work and don't celebrate all the work that is, like, so painful and hurtful and that it gets exploited.

Radfems/feminists of Tennessee, please contact me. My sister, a mother of two, is suffering immensely from a major infection caused by miscarriage complications that the state refuses to treat in a timely matter as it goes against the """pro life""" policies placed into law. They're willing to let her die in the name of a fetus that she's no longer carrying. Reproductive control is an act of terrorism directly aimed at the women unfortunate enough to reside in the state, as such I wish to make the state's pro-life anti-women politician's lives a living hell and I'd be happy if you could help🙏✨

some of you can only appreciate Sam, Jammer, and K through their relationships with Evan, and its getting annoying. I know that a lot of s1 was revolving around Evans possession, but come on, it's so frustrating to see almost every post about magical misfits be about "evan and _". K and Sam are literally childhood friends! Jammer watches Sams streams!
i promise that if you explore other dynamics within the party, their bonds with Evan are not gonna disappear.

A foreign lobby group wielding this much influence is insane. Coupled with the fact that most journalists, students, academics, activists and artists being expelled, fired, persecuted and disproportionately penalised are BIPOC, it seems like white supremacists are using this opportunity as a concerted effort to push minorities out of every institution of influence. It's nothing less than a bipartisan attack by the white establishment on civil rights.
If y'all do not fight like hell for these people US minorities will be fucked no matter how much you vote.

'Zutara should've happened to subvert the 'hero always gets the girl' trope!!!''Bad boy always gets the girl' is also a trope and one with significantly more misogynistic history than the hero one.Kataang itself is a subversion of how it's usually potrayed to make it feminist with specific writing points to switch up the gender dynamics and thus defy gender roles and sexist stereotypes, including that Katara is also the hero of Atla as much as Aang is,while Zutara calls for the bad boy one to be played straight in a classic faux-feminism move and false attempt at challenging cisheteronormativity. Also Zuko wouldn't have gotten Katara a statue 'unlike Aang' not just because he canonically didn't but also because she would never want one and there is no evidence to suggest she would nor that she finds manliness on men attractive nor that she's a preppy good girl nor that she enjoys playing into maternal roles to anybody except her actual kids or sees Aang as her son nor that she hates other girls her age nor that Zuko wants to burden his girlfriend with all his emotional problems nor be a 'female fantasy' for any girl instead of his girlfriend's boyfriend👍🏼Projecting is for film and y'all're M.Night Shyamalan

In Defense of Aang in "The Southern Raiders"
A while ago, while still shipping Zutara, I made a meta saying Aang was careless with how he treated Katara in The Southern Raiders. Since then my opinion has changed, and I want to give my updated thoughts on the matter.
Fans give Aang flak for three main things:
"Preaching" forgiveness at a sensitive time.
Comparing the loss of Kya to him losing Appa.
Comparing Katara to Jet.
Let us go through each of those points and refute them one by one.
1. "Preaching" forgiveness at a sensitive time
Aang's goal in The Southern Raiders is to help Katara heal in the way that's right for her. It's a noble goal. And he believes that forgiveness is this way to heal. That's why he talks about forgiveness. Not for her mother's killer's sake, but for her own. He demonstrates this when Katara says that she didn't kill Yon Rha. He simply accepts that she did what's right for her with no actual regard to his principles of forgiveness.
In my previous - and outdated - post on the subject, I stated that Aang's lines feel preachy because they are impersonal. But they are not impersonal. Aang is, in fact, repeating the words of Katara herself to her in hopes of changing her mind. That is deeply personal.
Tumblr media
2. Comparing the loss of Kya to him losing Appa
Let's take another look at the parallel between Katara's words and Aang's. Katara is saying these lines in "The Avatar State" in hopes of trying to get Aang to give up trying to enter the Avatar State. In The Southern Raiders, Aang references her words and then compares her loss to losing Appa. What do "The Avatar State" and losing Appa have in common? When Aang lost Appa, he entered the Avatar State. That's why he's comparing the two instances. Because he's bringing up her words when they were discussing the Avatar State.
3. Comparing Katara to Jet
As I previously established, Aang's motivation in this episode was to help Katara. She is at heart a kind soul, and killing Yon Rha would have a devastating effect on her. Aang invokes Jet because this recent loss might get to her and convince her to change her mind. He has to, by any means necessary. Now, Aang didn't compare Katara to Jet because they're both mad. He compared the two because Jet's life were ultimately tragic. He was so consumed by rage and hatred and it ate him inside, preventing him from finding normalcy in Ba Sing Se. And he could only change once he died. Katara too wouldn't be able to find normalcy after commiting such act, which is why their situations are comparable.
Before we wrap this up, I want to remind y'all that even Zuko admitted that Aang was right in the end.

Felix cosplaying Deadpool or an AU where he’s a version of Deadpool and Y/N as Lady Death, and every time he’s on the brink of Death, he literally can’t stop himself from sleeping with you before his immortality kicks in. It’s so sick, and he gets so eager and rough because he knows a short fuck will get him through till the next time. Just Felix as Deadpool in any sense would be so far removed from his usual gentle demeanor. He’s bolder. More brazen. He is less affectionate with his words and even less forgiving when he handles you. Brb, I need to write smth about this…

Zuko fans who say Mai is the reason Zuko gets violent and lashes out and that she is to blame for all his flaws really are mask-off with their misogyny. Because Zuko lashes out even more at Iroh, who is the most patient with Zuko and who cares for him and tries to listen and mollify him more than anyone, no matter what Zuko does, including denigrating Iroh as a weakling and throwing him in prison to rot to bolster his image after Iroh offered Zuko a chance to settle down in a calmer life under a new identity. Zuko mocks and belittles Ty Lee for trying to be nice to him. Zuko backstabs Katara after she reached out to him and then forgets about it and says she doesn't have a reason to be mad at him. Zuko attacks Aang after he saves him.
Zuko lashing out at the people who aren't even his enemies is Zuko's own toxicity and Zuko's own flaw that he has to take accountability for and grow from. If even Iroh bears the brunt of it and couldn't singlehandedly "fix" Zuko with all the grace he extended him time and time again, then any arguments about someone just needing to be good enough to Zuko or else it's their own fault that he explodes at them and takes out all those frustrations on them go out the window. Neither Mai or Iroh or the others he does it to made Zuko act that way towards them. He just did.
Zuko even admits that at its core, he acts this way towards people who are there for him because he's angry at himself.
