From @saberamane
So, I’m gonna saunter in here with something perhaps a bit controversial.
So, the main point in AC Origins is that Bayek and Aya’s son, Khemu, is killed and they’re trying to find the people responsible. But like…technically Bayek killed him? He attacked a man with a sharp object that was standing infront of his son, and knowing that they already had made threats to kill Khemu, didn’t try to disengage, back up, move away from the kid to continue the fight?
Don’t get me wrong, I see why Bayek blames them, and wants them dead, and they are genuinely bad people, but also, has Bayek taken responsibility for his own part in it? Is that why Aya doesn’t want to continue her marriage with Bayek even though there are multiple occasions where they have sex?
(Also, perhaps some Aya bashing technically, but if she didn’t want to continue her relationship with Bayek, why did she keep leading him on? I always had this thought since the first time I played the game. They’re ‘married’, and Bayek isn’t sleeping around and trying to work things out with Aya, and she doesn’t really want to work things out but she does want sex? IMO if she doesn’t want to continue the marriage with Bayek, she should also stop having sex with him and leading the poor guy on, he still loves her and while he may not ever move on with another woman, she doesn’t need to give him false hope that they’re marriage will be repaired.)
Just interested in other people’s thoughts on this.
======================================
Additions from teecup:
Okay, so here’s a video of that moment for easy reference:
youtube
Bayek isn’t exactly thinking straight at this point, especially as these unknown men have desecrated a place that has religious importance to him and his people. And he’s panicking as well at that point so when the chance showed itself where he could turn the tides, he took it.
We can make an argument that Bayek is too focused at this point, not helped by the fact that his vision is obstructed by the Order members. The camera angles also show how Khemu is being held by a member and both of them are behind another member and Bayek’s attention is on them, ignoring a smaller ‘target’ like Khemu.
In my opinion, Bayek didn’t think about trying to disengage or back up, maybe even take even just a few steps back, simply because he was too engulfed in his own rage at that point and perhaps he believed that any hesitation would mean Khemu will be in further danger (as these are men who had threatened to kill a child). We’ve seen how destructive Bayek can be when he’s enraged and this could be the reason why he didn’t even think about Khemu’s current position (or perhaps he forgot it in the heat of the moment).
And this brings up the question: “Does Bayek believe he has a hand in Khemu’s death?”
Bayek’s journey is to take vengeance for Khemu’s death. To ensure his son will walk the fields of reeds.
And we never get any scene that confirms if Bayek told Aya the entire truth, all we know is that whenever they talk about the Order, Bayek says they kill Khemu.
If he never told Aya the entire truth, it could mean either of the three:
Bayek sees Khemu’s death as the Order’s fault as his mind and grief distorted the events as he remembered them.
Bayek remembers Khemu’s death as it happens but he believes he shoulders no fault, that his death lies solely in the hands of the Order.
Bayek acknowledges his hand in Khemu’s death but willingly hides it from Aya, putting the entire blame onto the Order.
Whichever choice might be the correct one…
If Aya knows the entire truth, of how it was by (accidentally) Bayek’s hands that Khemu died, that would be grounds for why she would not want to get back with Bayek alone.
If Bayek only told Aya that the Order killed their child, Aya would know something is wrong, that something isn’t adding up or Bayek’s words and mannerisms are strange whenever the topic of Khemu’s death comes up. She’s been married to Bayek for so many years now and has known him since they were children so she knows him pretty well, knows him enough to know when something… something is definitely wrong.
Also, it should be noted, that instead of joining him in avenging their son, Aya returned to Alexandria where she made her own plans for revenge instead of… you know… telling Bayek she has an idea or something?
Their marriage was slowly dying the day Aya learned of Khemu’s death and their reunion in Alexandria and all their other meetings were them trying to delay the inevitable with Bayek being the one to cling more to their past, to the last of his family, so hard, while Aya seems to be seesawing between ignoring their past or trying to make up for lost time, like she knows she has to let go but can’t.
Depending on how much you believe Aya knows about Khemu’s death, her actions can be seen as either her trying to stop her love for Bayek but failing at times or she’s truly leading him on as a way to punish him for Khemu’s death and to do what she wants.
In my opinion? Bayek and Aya are two parents grieving the death of their son in different ways. Bayek is trying to cling unto Aya because she’s the only one left while Aya is seesawing between still being in love with Bayek but knowing their marriage was dead the moment Khemu died.
She even says so in their final scene in the base game (not counting the DLC):
“We could never have been. Everything has told us our love is impossible.”
In some ways, their ‘final scene’ showed how they grieved. Bayek tried to cling to his past with Aya while Aya moved forward, dragging Bayek with her in their quest for vengeance. When Bayek believed Khemu would be in peace now after the death of his ‘killer’, Aya is the one that says that their ‘job’ is not yet over. Aya is still moving forward and Bayek is walking alongside her.
#submission#so i’m going to tag this#anti amunet#anti aya#aya bashing#just to be safe#i will not use usual tags#so people who like her or don’t want to read this would have less chance to#not sure if i should tag this as anti bayek though…

On the Symbolism of the Ogdoad
It's been my experience that buried underneath patterns, beliefs, and interpretations there are core truths. The Greeks called them Forms or First Principles, the Egyptians knew them as the Netjeru, among the Teutons they were the Runes, and to the Hebrews they were the Sefirot. Based on my own experiences I am of the firm belief that these Principles are, in a sense, animated and alive. Being able to hear and see them takes time and sacrifice. I can say it feels like a blessing to reach out and touch even one of them.
The Netjeru are forces of nature within the spectrum of Cosmos and Chaos. They are embodied within both the physical universe and the human psyche. They are both primordial and universal, scientific and spiritual. The nature of their involvement with both objective and subjective reality far transcends that of third-dimensional human beings. The Egyptian word netjer or neter was carried on through the ages as the Coptic noute, the Latin natura, and finally the English nature.
In Egyptian cosmology, the Ogdoad were four pairs of Netjers conceptualized to represent different aspects of the primeval chaos. They were at the heart of the Hermopolitan cosmology. They were believed responsible for the inundation of the Nile and the rising of the sun. The forces of chaos were an essential part of the cosmic circuit. They were first mentioned in religious texts during the Middle Kingdom (2040-1640 B.C.E.). The original mound of creation (depicted as the Benben stone, a lotus flower containing the child Ra, or the child Ra hatching from the cosmic egg) was said to rise from the chaotic waters. Ra represents both the physical sun but also the creative principle as a whole. The names of the Ogdoad are:
Nun and Naunet (Primeval Ocean and Primeval Sky)
Kek and Kauket (Obscurity and Illumination)
Amun and Amunet (the Hidden One and the Revealed One)
Heh and Hauhet (Infinity and Boundaries)
The males were depicted as frogs or frog-headed men (as very prolific animals, frogs symbolize new life) whereas the females were serpents or serpent-headed women (often portrayed as spirals, serpents symbolize the latent creative force in the universe). The Egyptians chose well to use these animals as representations of the pre-creation state, thinking they would be comfortable in the primeval ooze. The Ogdoad are equivalent to the four fundamental interactions of the universe (the weak nuclear force, the strong nuclear force, gravity, and electromagnetism).
Nun was the primeval ocean and His consort Naunet was the sky above it. In the pre-creation state Nun was the chaotic primeval matter and Naunet was the primeval space. In the created universe Nun was what the Egyptians believed to be the watery firmament surrounding the world, similar to the Greek titan Okeanus, and in older texts, Naunet became the anti-sky which Ra must traverse every night in the Duat.
Kek and Kauket represented the awakening of the Universal Mind from the darkness enveloping the primeval ocean. Egyptians associated night with the chaotic energies and forces. Kek and Kauket were known as "the bringer-in of the light" and "the bringer-in of the night", respectively, indicating both their dominion over the hours of twilight and the dual-spiral nature of consciousness. Kek is that which is perpetually beyond the reach of the intellect and Kauket is the embodiment of continually pushing back barriers—of Opening the Way.
Amun and Amunet were Wind and Air, the dynamic elements of chaos. Creation cannot be explained from within, only from without, i.e. the Creator and the created universe are not one and the same. There must be an external force underlying creative efforts. This has been known by many cultures as “the breath of life” which animates inert or dead matter. The Egyptians knew this force as Amun, the Netjer of wind also known as the Hidden One. Amun represents the occult force underlying creation.
Heh and Hauhet symbolized the dynamic relationship between Matter and Spirit. One knows a compounded horizon, the other bears the limitless expanse of the primeval waters, knowing neither the impression of space nor time.
Most ancient cultures (as well as some that survive to this day) lived by the understanding of the cyclicality of nature, which can be observed within the succession of seasons. The universe was perceived as dynamic and animated rather than mechanistic and dead. The wisdom that many these days perceive as baseless or quaint was the result of centuries spent working the earth and observing the sky. The ancients developed mystery plays to illustrate the cosmic dance, the eternal conflict between the forces of cosmos and chaos. The mystery plays, rites, and festivals were more than just religious affairs to the ancients; they were acts of involvement with the cosmic crisis (often portrayed by the disappearance and rebirth of the sun).
The sun symbolizes cosmic order. The word "order" often sounds sterile and mechanistic but, rather, is taken to mean balance or regulation. The glaring heat of summer and the brittle cold of winter symbolically contributes to the death of the earth. From these chaotic seasons come longer days, renewed vegetation, and new generations of fauna, the cyclicality of creation playing out on the cosmic stage. Should the forces of either cosmos or chaos destroy the other, the outcome will be the same regardless of the victor. The creative principle involves a continuance of transformation through creation and destruction—an alchemy if you will. This has been depicted by many cultures as the world serpent.
The bringing of order and definition to the primeval state was not a sudden or random event but one subject to a greater form of law. The Egyptians knew this as Ma'at, the Greeks as Logos, the Teutons as Ørlög, the Hindus as Ṛta, the Zoroastrians as Asha, and the Lakota peoples as Wakan Tanka or the Great Mystery. In the Judeo-Christian tradition, it is referred to as the Word of God. Creation is not something that can be explained from within, but only from outside of it or beyond its scope; whence comes the concept of the occult or hidden force underlying creation. This is not something I consider to be a god necessarily but rather an emanation, a permeating force or principle that underlies objective existence. In the microcosm, this would be comparable to the notion of vitality or the animating principle.
Creation is an emanating, dynamic, and ongoing act as opposed to a singular, decisive act. It is the process by which undifferentiated matter, energy, and consciousness are brought to order and definition. It is the transition from subjective being to objective being, from the unconscious to the conscious. In human terms, it is the transition from an unconscious state to one of awareness. It is not the bringing forth of something out of nothing. The necessary elements already exist and the act itself is the forming and re-purposing of chaotic matter or energy into something new. To a person rousing from active sleep, their dream could be considered incredibly real even though it was the product of their unconscious mind attempting to categorize the experiences of the previous day.
Creation is inherently cyclical, continuous, and multidimensional. The experience of it is, by its very nature, transcendental (i.e. beyond oneself). The universe is not static. It is evolving on every scale and in every aspect, very much animated and alive. One of the core Hermetic teachings is that everything in the universe is composed of energy vibrating at an infinite range of frequencies, all of which are susceptible to mental influence.
Inherent in this dynamic process is the reconciliation of opposites, a practical example of which can be found in the interaction between matter and antimatter. The majority of the universe is comprised of plasma with matter and antimatter distributed throughout. When matter (e.g. a negatively-charged electron) and antimatter (a positively-charged positron) collide, they produce a violent reaction—the conversion of matter to energy in the form of an explosion. In doing so, the particles and antiparticles negate each other and return to zero mass with their total energy being redistributed into the surrounding space, transformed into gamma radiation. The universe wastes nothing.
This process was defined philosophically as the dialectic Thesis-Antithesis-Synthesis and portrayed allegorically as Unity-Scission-Reconciliation. This dialectic is observable in nature as the changing of seasons, the life cycles of flora, and the behavior of fauna. It manifests recurrently in human lives as the intricacies of relationships and personal growth, the outreaching of generations, and the evolution of customs, trends, and technology.
The Ancient Egyptians had a way of expressing such relationships and interactions. This was achieved by grouping the Netjeru into dyads, triads, tetrads, etc. These groupings were formulaic, illustrating the interaction between principal forces. For example:
Nun-Ptah-Atum
Nun: undifferentiated matter/energy
Ptah: converting potentia to dunamis
Atum: self-begotten awareness
This triad embodies the scientific basis of Creation in which the undifferentiated, inert state of matter and energy come into being as the physical universe. The Egyptians portrayed the transformative catalyst as Ptah, the patron Netjer of artisans. Ptah is portrayed with His body bound in cloth (representing the dense state of matter, the concealed potentiality underlying creation), often standing on a pedestal or seated on a throne (representing His mastery over universal laws). His hands and head are uncovered (indicating the capacity for action, expression, and intent) and He is often seen holding a staff combining the ankh, was, and djed (symbols of life, sovereignty, and stability).
I am writing a book that focuses on Nun and will occasionally post snippets of it here. Nun is one of the Netjers that I work with and I’ll be writing more about that in my Relationships With The Netjeru series. You would be surprised by the wisdom and friendship to be found in obscure forces of creation.

I just loved when people in the fandom were angry over the team letting Amunet and Marlize get away in season 4. People felt like they should’ve been taken to prison. I feel the same way. However, do you know who also needs to be taken to prison? Caitlin Snow.
Everybody seems to have forgotten about the fact that Caitlin is a criminal. She even called her alter ego is a criminal. Caitlin called KF a criminal herself. Guess what? She’s still apart of the team. Team Flash literally has a criminal on the team.
So yeah. Because of Caitlin, I’m not bothered by Amunet, Marlize, and any future criminal getting away. The people in this fandom can miss me with “Amunet and Marlize should’ve went to jail.” If you’re like this and cool with Caitlin still on the team, seriously miss me with this. You ca’t have it both ways.

This scene right here gave me so many feelings. Apart for acknowledging skyscrappers/modern cities exists in Egypt (about time! they are in the background btw) this is the closest situation we have with D'jinn and the Living Mummies. Now imagine this: You come from a different culture that doesn't celebrate Christmas but you still get gifts when you were a kid. Apparently this "Santa Claus" doesn't care what are your beliefs or religion, only that you and your peers are good people at heart and deserve a gift as a selfless act of happiness and goodwill. That is probably D'jinn's situation with Christmas, or at least the gift part. He thinks Santa is an honest, really good polar bear who deserves everything in the world for what he's doing each year.
Now he meets people who were trapped in a pyramid their whole lives and never heard of Santa. So D'jinn as the great storyteller he is began to tell them how wonderful the man is and that he cares for everyone to be happy.
Obviously the mummies get excited, especialy the kids. The falcons, jackals and the warrior decorate the pyramid for Santa's arrival (ancient egyptian style of course) and go to sleep.
But in reality they can't wait, so when the ones who entered the place left, everyone sees that they have presents and are overjoyed.
Of course Faris knew this would happen. And in a year where he obtained his family's lost heirloom, showed a rich duck family the importance of the sentimental value of things and helped the Mummies fight against alien invaders, he is 100% convinced Santa brought him a gift too. And there it is.
He picks up his present, unwraps it not caring what it is because the fact that Santa remembers him is enough and...
Coal. Only coal.
Lots and lots of coal. Coal for everyone.
Worse than that, coal with an invoice paycheck.
"But Mr.D'jinn...you say Santa only gives coal to those who are bad people" says a little jackal pup with tears in his eyes.
The warrior is almost speechless "Yes I did but... but..."
Adults are confused, some panic. Children are crying thinking they are bad and that Santa hates them. Amunet just looks at D'jinn with a look that says "What is the meaning of this? What went wrong? Are we bad people?"
The warrior can just stare at all the chaos, falls to his knees and screams in a dramatic way "SANTA WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME!?" without knowing it wasn't the polar bear who gave them coal but...
Him. This old capitalist greedy duck here not only lied to him about the lamp and "send help" that never came in the Moonvasion, but now he made him look like a big clown in what was probably one of the most important Christmas celebration of his life.
Sure, things got better at the end but, Scrooge... what the duck?
#ducktales#ducktales 2017#ducktales season 3#how santa stole christmas#i know you would say Scrooge say sorry and the Moonvasion thing was not his fault#but at least for some days this is an anti Scrooge blog#scrooge mcduck#coal for everyone...really?#ducktales santa#faris djinn#amunet#ducktales amunet#the living mummies#ducktales living mummies#did I just make a little fanfic?#yes#yes i did#dt spoilers#ducktales spoilers

So Frost and the meta cure. I have... thoughts.
When we're first introduced to Killer Frost in season 3, she kind of comes out of nowhere. It's assumed that she's part and parcel with Caitlin's powers - she is - and it's unclear whether she's an entirely separate personality from Caitlin's or just Caitlin's brain chemistry being altered to cause radical personality shifts. (Obviously some things hadn't been totally nailed down in the writer's room.)
At the time, Caitlin suppresses her powers - and thus Frost - using Cisco's meta suppressant tech, which was designed for metas created via dark energy. At the time, this made sense, as the origin of Caitlin's powers hadn't been revealed but the most likely culprit was that she'd simply had dormant powers since the accelerator (either all along or as a consequence of Barry altering the timeline).
This make's Frost's ultimate emergence make sense - Julian removes the suppressant tech against Caitlin's wishes and Frost's powers finally fully manifest in the process of healing Caitlin. It's still unclear if they're different people (further confused by the ending of the season where Caitlin is somewhere between the two and leaving to find herself as this new iteration of Frost!Caitlin)
After some minor retcons at the start of season four (things finally got nailed down in the writer's room and Caitlin and Frost were suddenly definitely always separate personalities, yup yup), we still have every reason to believe that Frost's existence is dark energy related, but we get this rather interesting piece of information from Amunet Black.
Now Amunet runs a black market that includes dealing in kidnapped metahumans. Which means she had to have tech - likely stolen from iron heights and thus the same tech Cisco created - for de-powering metahumans so they don't fight back enough to escape when in her clutches. And she gave Caitlin some of this tech to control Frost. But when Caitlin later brings this up, Amunet basically tells her the tech is like Dumbo's feather that let him fly. Dumbo didn't need the feather to control his flight and Caitlin didn't need the tech.
Caitlin - not the dark energy suppressants - was keeping Frost under control. The tech was a placebo. And if the tech was a placebo, that means Julian removing the suppressant did nothing because it was Caitlin nearly dying that gave Frost the kick she needed to force the issue of her manifestation - but because Julian removed the necklace that meant neither Caitlin nor Frost realized the tech didn't work on them. Thus when Amunet gave them new suppressant/control tech they believed it would work... so it looked like it did.
This theory makes even more sense in light of the season five revelation that Caitlin's powers - and thus Frost's existence - are not due to dark energy. They're due to Caitlin's father's questionable experimentation practices. (Maybe giving yourself and your daughter an experimental therapy for a disease with a genetic component only one of you provably has is, perhaps, not a great idea...)
All this to say, the meta cure wouldn't even work on Frost in the first place. Her powers and existence are not born of dark energy, suppressants meant to repress the powers of dark energy based metas only work as placebos, and an anti-meta serum that works based on the pre-condition of there being dark energy to remove from a person's body is going to have nothing to remove from Frost.
Like... I'd have loved it if the cure was forced on Frost, nothing happened, and then Frost and Cecile got to spend the rest of the season suing the state and that one corrupt nitwit in particular. That would've made more sense than whatever the heck is actually happening this season.
#the flash#the flash meta#frost vs the meta cure#killer frost#I just really don't think she should have had anything to worry about#just imagine the Frost and Cecile show where they're just gleefully settling out of court and getting all charges against Frost dropped#am i going to call the corrupt nitwit by name?#nope I'm not#can't believe Joe quit rather than using his position and connections to actually fight back#like... what's the point of making him Captain if the first big obstacle leads him to turn in his badge#also Cisco should probably be suing ARGUS for breach of contract around the allowed usage of the cure...

What never made sense about CS story arc in season 4 with her working for Amunet in that human trafficking ring was that Julian had a cure for her in the season 3 finale so why did she need to go through all those changes with Amunet? Why didn’t she just go back to her friends and get the cure since she wanted to get rid of KF at the time. Also she just didn’t keep in touch with anyone knowing that Barry was gone? These were her friends yet she didn’t bother to check in with them to see how they were doing. They really wrote CS character shitty in season 4 because none of her choices made any sense. When she wanted Frost and when she didn’t. Antis talk about how Iris is poorly written yet they give this nonsense a pass. SBs ship her with Barry yet she didn’t give 2 shits about Barry being gone into the SF. Make it make sense
Didn’t she have the cure with her? She claimed she took it, when Cisco goes to see her in the season 4 premiere, if I’m remembering correctly. Who even knows, though.
Her character has always been wildly inconsistent, but season 4 was probably the worst in that regard. She did so many shitty things and got a free pass, because she’s a white woman whom everybody has to constantly coddle and placate.

Mysteries of Ankh
Mysteries of Ankh or original way of saying nkh in kemet. It was said it's symbol of life but it's actually far deeper. It's just like shiv lingam which explains the story of creation & destruction. The story and formula of existence itself. It shows the following nature's of existence the original octet, the God's the principals of cosmos: Nu & nunet: nu is original primordial one beyond time & space. It's same as apsu & tiamat which shows the primordial chaos which is beyond time & space. All have came out of this chaos. All creation God's or all dark or anti creation God's or the apep. Amun & Amunet: is the nature of existence which shows that it's hidden force. Hidden in everything as essence. Heh & hehet: this god couple is a sacred principal which symbolize eternity. It has no beginning or end. It's Anaadi anant shiv. Kek & keket: this primordial essence, ancient principal is darkness present everywhere in cosmos. It's driving force behind cosmos. That's Kali the Shakti. These ancient formulas, these hidden codes like ANKH were meant for humans to understand the core and architecture of cosmic forces. Also, to make it in coded format so that it should be accessible to the chosen ones. For those who can read between or beyond the lines., Adoration to Anaadi anant shiv Nu ankh amun Amun Ra Atum Ra Ptah Ra Khepra Ra Dua banebdjedet Ya khum Ya isis Osiris Horus Dua dua dua Ave lucifer

I have decided to replace Regina with Harrison Wells (All versions excluding orginal Earth One Wells before he got taken over by Eobard Thawne) I will do a post about it later since Tumblr won’t cooperate.
Top 10 Characters that embody white privilege
##10 Rory Gilmore
Oh man where do I begin with this woman? Rory is honestly one of the most entitled selfish spoiled brats I have ever come across in all of TV history. Well for one everyone in Stars Hollow coddles her and they will bend to her every need. She doesn’t take constructive criticism well or any types of criticism well. She is ungrateful anytime someone tries to do something nice for her. For example Emily threw her a party grant it she did not ask for it and the kids were assholes but still Emily made an attempt to do something nice for her grand daughter. (I won’t hold that against Rory too much) She is someone in most eyes who can do no wrong. She sort of lead Dean on even after kissing Jess until Dean finally breaks up with her. She dates Jess boy Litterari is a sorry ass relationship because he leaves for a full year without telling Rory and he tried forcing himself on Rory but more about why I hate Litterari later. Anyways back to Rory. She loses her virginity to Dean knowing full well he is a married man. She then tries to justify it by saying he was having marriage problems but she made things worse. She then takes this a step further by bad mouthing his wife Lindsey in Rory had the nerve to bad mouth someone’s wife after sleeping with their husband. Then she goes to college she treats Paris like shit despite Paris being one of the most loyal friends for example like being the Yale Daily news despite Paris being a well organized boss. Yes Paris is bossy but Rory won’t even acknowledge Paris’s feelings until Paris gets in her face about it. Rory is a girl who has had so many opportunities handed to her. For example she will never be in debt because Richard and Emily paid for Chilton and Yale until Christopher took over. She bitches and moans of not being able to find a place to study until she finds a tree she likes. Once she sees someone else using the tree she bitches and moans. Then she finally pays they guy $20 for a tree she will never use again. Guess she complained for nothing. I said earlier she can’t handle criticism well and she really can’t. The first thing that comes to mine is that Mitchum told her she don’t got it. Her reaction she runs away crying which is fine totally normal reaction. However after she cries she then gets the idea to steal a yacht. Yes people it was Rory’s idea to steal a yacht not Logan’s. She gets arrested and after she drops out of Yale. Most people who pull this kind of shit would face jail time and they sure as hell would be scraping the bottom of the barrel for a lawyer but not Rory. Nope instead her filthy rich grandparents have are great friends with lawyer and hook Rory up with him straight away. When she drops out of Yale she doesn’t get a job nope instead she gets to move into her grandparents pool house which Emily has redone for her. She doesn’t have to pay for jack shit she gets a job with the DAR because of Emily, and when she goes to community service she gets a nice gourmet lunch that Emily packs for her. In-spite of doing everything Rory has done her grandparents still talk about her as if she can do no wrong. Then in the revival she is an idiot who can’t handle her money. She can’t afford underwear/panties but can afford three phones and can fly to New York, from Connecticut and then back and then to Paris oh and some how manages to afford three phones. She throws a fit because she didn’t get a job despite the fact she didn’t come prepared for the interview. She is offered a teaching job by headmaster Charleston but turns down because she thinks she is above teaching at a school and then proceeds to sneer at educators as if they are the worst despite them teaching her the tools to get into Yale and not mention a connection her grandfather had for her to go. She is in her 30s and looks down at the 30′s group because they live with parents despite the fact she is back living with her mom. She continues to be a cheater. She treats Paul like shit and keeps forgetting to dump him after two years. She cheats with Logan and a Wookie (The Baby is Logan’s). Oh and she fat shamed with her mom which is a shitty thing to do. She has never had to pay a drop of rent not once when she lived with Paris and then when she lived with Logan. She is honestly a badly developed character.
#9 Mal
Yes I know she had a bit of a rough life but some and yes I know she is a villan’s kid but honestly she comes off as entitled. She tormented Uma to the point where Uma wants revenge on her. She stole Ben away from Audery in the most disgusting way possible yes I know Mal and Ben would end up together but that could have been done better. She puts a love potion on Ben leaving Audrey confused and then she proceeds to get humiliated in front of the entire school by her having boyfriend asked out by another girl. Yes I know Audrey is a bit of a classist snob but honestly Mal has been given two rivals which both happen to be angry women of color. She says she misses tormenting people and messing things up. When things got hard she runs back to isle. Then when Uma comes to Aurdon she also puts a love spell on Ben (Love spell magic term for drug) but gets hate. However when Mal did it the fandom praised her. She is not fit to be the Queen of Auradon but Evie is she is a far better fit for a queen than Mal is. Evie actually cares about the kids on the isle and was willing to give them a chance. I don’t hate Mal but she comes off as entitled at times.
#8 Sara Lance
If you guys have read my blog posts on Sara you know I despise her and she honestly one of the worst characters ever created. She serves no purpose other than to cause drama for Lauriver and Laurel. She bangs her sister’s boyfriend which leads to her faking her death for six years well that’s how it would look to Laurel. She never even tries to make amends with her family instead she goes back to sleeping with Oliver while she was with Nyssa. She invites Oliver to her sister’s apartment and rubs her relationship with him in Laurel’s face. She never once apologizes to Laurel sincerely instead she receives an apology from Laurel. She then dies and Laurel brings her back with nothing but the Lazarus pit. Yet when Laurel dies Sara does nothing or claims there is nothing she can do despite the fact she all the resources she needs at her finger tips, a time machine with a med, had the spear of Destiny the death totem that can bring people back from dead other Lazarus pits Black Siren and John Constantine. She doesn’t use any of the resources. She instead changes Amaya’s/Mari’s history. She gets her own show where she has an Alias that belongs to an Asian woman. Shadow another Asian woman was sacrificed over her. She has left several children orphans and she is honestly worse than Felicity. She yells at Barry for screwing with time despite that is something she does all the time. I have said this before and I will say it again, she is the least remorseful person ever and she is an ablest piece of shit. Sara doesn’t get shit for sleeping around but Iris gets crap because she slept with Eddie despite not yet dating Barry
#7 Kylo Ren
Why the hell do people ship and Relyo and not Finrey? Oh wait Finn’s black and Kylo is white. He has kidnapped her, maimed her and even mind raped her. He has tortured her. He killed his own father without even thinking twice. I am strongly convinced that him and Rey are cousins. All though he had a tough childhood and was sad so we should feel sorry for him. Yet Finn who was a enslaved by being a Storm Trooper and he showed nothing but kindness and compassion to Rey. However leave it to a racist fandom to prop up an evil white guy and shit on a kind caring black man.
#6 Professor Sevurus Snape
I honestly do not understand why people like Snape. He was best friend’s with a muggle born but wanted to join the Death Eaters despite the fact they kill people muggle borns. He called her a mudblood which is a racial slur in the Wizzarding World but back tracks by saying she is different and that she isn’t like the others. He sold the Potters out to Voldmort and only switched sides when he realize Lily was going to be killed but gave no shits about Harry or James. He grew into a bitter hateful adult. He bullied students especially the Gryffindor students. He purposely asked Harry questions knowing Harry did not know the answers and he docked the house points. He bullied Hermione for her smarts and teased her about her appearance because her teeth were cursed to grow by Malfoy. He doesn’t discipline Malfoy he instead teases a young girl which you know girls love being teased by grown ass men about how they look not! Then again this Snape. However the worst case of Snape bullying students is Neville. Snape has threatened to kill Trevor Neville’s pet frog by feeding him a failed potion, he knew Neville was easily intimidated but still treated him like crap. In fact Snape bullied Neville so badly that Snape ends up becoming Neville’s worst fear. Yes that is right folks Professor Sevurus Snape becomes Neville’s worst fear, not Bellatrix you know the bitch who tormented his parents to insanity and to the point where Alice and Frank couldn’t even recognize their own son. Not Voldmort who terrorizes people but his own teacher! How fucked up is that? Snape also knew Sirus was innocent and did nothing and he outed Remus as a werewolf knowing full well that Remus would have a hard time finding a job. So Snape has thrown two decent men under the bus over something that happened in their childhood. Also who wonders how Snape treated Ginny Weasely. She looks like Lily she has red hair, and she is in Gryffindor so I would love to know head canons.
#5 Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Her fandom is honestly one of the worst fandoms I have run across. A majority of them are racist towards Iris/Candice and they coddle the shit out of Caitlin. When things gets hard she leaves and only then does she have to be guilted back by Cisco. Her crimes are white washed and swept under the rug despite them earning her a spot in jail. She is a classist for example she wanted Henry the scientist to be the other half of Firestorm just because he had two PHD’s in Science and “He is trying to make something of himself” She didn’t even consider Jax because he wasn’t a college grad. Well he was 4.0 student and was on his way to a football scholarship but lost it due an injury. She also seems to look down upon anyone who is not in stem which is why her and Iris aren’t friends (I also think Danielle and Candice aren’t great friends either but this post is about characters not actors all though DP has turned me off to Caitlin as well) Caitlin has to be begged to use her powers to save people. She had to be begged by Iris to save Barry from Savitar and she hestiated by saying it was too dangerous despite the fact Barry was being choked by Savitar. Then she had to be begged to save Iris despite the fact Iris was about to disintegrate and die. However when she does decide to use her powers its to freeze the mirror and to freeze Barry on E2 to fake his death those are the only times she uses them for good without being asked. The rest of the time she uses her powers for her ownu selfish gain. She kidnaps Julian to help find a cure for her powers, she terrorizes a family to see if she can get rid of her powers so that is Caitlin acting out but with Killer Frost powers. She threw all of Barry’s loved one deaths back in his face and laughed. Then when she goes full blown Killer Frost she tries to kill her friends and teams up with Savitar despite them offering help to her. She said she wanted to. Barry said “Caitlin you can fight this’ and her reply “I can but I don’t want to” She almost killed Cisco three times and would have if there wasn’t someone there to block her icicle at the last second she did the same with Tracey Brand but didn’t succeed because Barry caught her icicle at the last minute. In the future she froze Cisco’s hands off. She helped to try and have Iris killed. She almost froze Cisco’s hands off if Barry hadn’t blocked Cisco from her ice blast. She stabs Barry twice in the same leg infact she even makes sure to stab him in the same leg because scar tissue is more painful than regular tissue. She is an accomplice to the murderer of HR Wells. Then at his funeral she gives a half assed apology for his death while in Killer Frost form and then proceeds to fuck off so she can go find herself instead of taking responsiblity. While she is gone she is so desperate to get control of her powers that she joins Ammunette Black a human trafficker where she agrees to use Killer Frost for muscle. This all so she can get her hands on technology to let Caitlin stay in charge. She comes back and apologizes to all the men but not Cecile or Iris. Oh and Iris dragged her “I am sorry we? Where have you been the last six months again?” Caitlin has put the team in danger by continuing to keep secerets and she is honestly such a coddled like a child who made a mistake instead of a 30 some year old woman.
#4 Amunet Black
Well she was recently announced the face of feminism! Yeah she might have been harrassed by men but that doesn’t means she be the face of feminism. She is human trafficker who hunts down Meta humans enslaves them and sells them for profit. She kidnapped and sold a black man so Devoe could take over his mind and body. Seriously Flash selling a black person for profit doesn’t take well to the viewers because of the 100 years worth of slavery also why would a black man be working for her? Seriously she kidnaps and sells people for profit oh and she wears dreads which Cisco dragged her for go Cisco. (Nothing against white people wearing dreads) Yeah she is the worst kind of criminal out there.
#3 Mon El
Mon El had such potential to be a good character but he was a total waste of screen time he was brought in soon after Kara breaks things off with James and then it was all downhill from there. The first time we meet him he chokes Kara well he was half asleep but why was that his first instinct? He throws every attempt that Kara has made to help him back in her face. He called her selfish after she caught him bullying another Aileen for money. He straight up admitted for wanting to use his powers for muscle. He belittled Kara in public because he got jealous of Mxy. He called Kara his kryptonite. He announced his relationship with Kara despite her telling him she wasn’t ready to go public and despite him promising not to announce it but does anyways. He said he missed objectifying women. He leaves a woman after having sex with her in bed to save himself from his crumbling planet. He is the god damn Prince and he helped none of his people escape from Daxam. He is a former slave owner and he lied about who he was to Kara. He is a slave owner who replaced the black male lead/love interest so that’s racist. Yet the fandom coddles him because he is white and “changed his ways” nope he was only a hero for Kara it was never once him doing the right thing. He then in season 3 he doesn’t tell Kara he is married until he kisses his wife right in front of her. So all in all Mon El sucks!
#2 Regina Mills
This woman is very has an awesome sense of style and the queen of sass however the crimes she has commited are enough to earn her several years of jail time. Yes Lana Parilla is woc but the show hasn’t acknowledged that so for the show it is safe to assume to she is white but if I am wrong please let me know respectfully. Anyways without further a do here are problems with Regina. Her revenge is motivated by something a 10 year old Snow White did because Regina’s mother Cora tricked her. She is the reason Emma was an Orphan. She is rapist. Don’t believe me watch this series on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9q8bNfc5pGs&list=PL0xdMZc_RqtnnSAUpli5Q5s-7ic-l2HLQ this sums up most of Regina’s heinous crimes. I strongly advice you to click on the link. However here are some other fucked up things she has done. She has disabled Ariel, she enslaved Sydney literally a black character who was used to be a slave or more so indentured servant. She makes fun of Hook’s disability. She has the nerve to berate Emma when she brings back Marion claiming she ruined her life despite the fact Emma’s whole life was a mess because of Regina. She acts snobby to Drizzella because she cast a curse despite her doing the same. Honestly Regina is a hypocritical stuck up snob who thinks she is better than everyone. She is on the list because not once has she had to atone for her crimes. Oh and she is always blaming people for her bad bhavior.
#1 Zelena
Last but not least. She has committed just as many crimes as Regina. Yes her childhood sucked but still no excue for her crimes. She was jealous of Regina because Regina got everything she didn’t well that is how it would appear. Zelena killed Marion in the second time line Emma and Hook created proceeded to over and shape shifted into Marion. So a classic example of another character of color being screwed over to uplift a white one. She then proceeded to steel Robin away as Marion and proceeds to rape him. Now people are going to ask how did Zelena rape Robin Hood? Well he thought he was having sex with his wife Marion. He would not have had sex with Marion had he known that was actually in disguise. She has a baby girl that she named Robin(Robyn no clue how it is spelled) I honestly think Regina named her daughter to spite Regina and to rub in the fact that she could actually have a child and Regina could not. Remember Regina poisoned her uterus so she would be infertile to spite her mom. Seriously Adam and Eddy are so fucked up. Oh and Regina has never had to atone for her crimes. Anyways end of rant please feel free leave a comment

I don't get people who are mad the show keeps calling her Killer Frost. First, she's DC property and they have to call her that. Two, Killer Frost isn't exactly innocent, so I don't get calling her a hero either. Caitlin called her a criminal. Killer Frost herself doesn't refer to herself as a hero. She tried to kill people. She's an accomplice in HR murder (which kinda makes her live up to the name). She was involved in human trafficking. She's an anti hero at best.
I don’t see anyone upset about Killer Frost being called “Killer Frost”. I do see a lot of people who don’t like her because of her criminal past, and I get that. Even though she’s never straight up killed anyone, she has caused serious damage.
I see her not so much as an anti-hero, but a villain who’s been turning into a hero, kind of like Snart and Mick Rory when they transitioned from Flash villains to Legends, or Earth-2 Laurel Lance.
It kinda bothers me the team overlooks Killer Frost trying to kill people. Last season, she was going to stab Amunet. In 4x18, she was going in to stab Devoe. 5x11, she told Cicada “My name is Killer Frost, let me show you why.” She made a ice dagger whatever afterwards. She was literally planning to kill this man. Considering how much the team likes to reiterate they don’t kill, they love to gloss over this.
I think they gloss over it because, despite Killer Frost’s efforts in the past, she never actually killed anyone. When she was supposed to kill Cisco in season 3, she saved him and turned against Savitar instead. She gets angry and almost crosses the line with Amunet and Cicada, much like Barry has almost crossed the line with villains too, but she stops before it’s too late. Barry was going to kill Cicada in 5x11, until Nora stopped him. He wanted to kill Grodd in 3x14, but Iris and Harry convinced him he didn’t need to stoop that low. He’s almost killed Thawne on several occasions.

I hate that it's Caitlin idea to bring Amunet to work with the team in next ep. Barry Joe & Iris listed good reasons to not work want a thing to do with her & Iris looked pissed in a trailer at having Amunet around. Not surprised none of that bothered CS since it didn't bother her to work as criminal in s4a. Which was CS’s idea not KF SO another CS not learning for her mistakes. I really hope CS isn't doing this hoping Amunet can help her get KF back. Or that Amunet is going go CS fangirl again.
Every fucking episode with Amunet I keep waiting for one single person to be like “wait… Caitlin you tortured innocent meta humans and trafficked them at the expense of getting some weird device that would prevent you from turning into this meta you’re desperately trying to get back now? So basically tortured innocent metas for no reason? For six months??”
But lol who am I kidding no one is gonna bring it up.
I know with 100% certainty they’re going to turn Amunet into an anti hero who will become best buds with Caitlin and help her get her powers back. Through this Caitlin will see all this power was in her the whole time… she just had to believe! Honestly. Then she can continue to be the special snowflake she always is with no one ever holding her accountable for anything. That’s her second superpower.
I love how everything messed up Iris feels is reduced to comedic relief. That girl has suffered through 6 months suppressing every single emotion she has ever had leading the team, had her wedding ruined by nazis, her bachelorette party destroyed because she had to help worthless Caitlin, AND her honeymoon destroyed. Seriously writers just give her a damn break.

This is going to be a LONG episode. *sigh* how about stop being in outside characters, especially incredibly annoying ones, and focusing on the ones already on the team. The season is almost over I keep telling myself that. The bless of reset is coming with new season

Hey there ! If you could rewrite Len’s death... And write him off without killing him... How would you do that ? What should have happened ?
So no Oculus death? I’d just... wipe that away, have no one die, have them just put a lever in it or something. Tape the button down, etc.
And then to write him off?
Literally I’d have written Mick and Len as sticking around Central City at the end of Legends S1 instead of joining back up with the team. They’ve had their share of time travel and the wedge it drove between them. Mick’s got a lot to cope with from his time as Chronos, and maybe the Legends call them up from time to time for Mick’s help in particular because of it, but mostly he’s back on the solid ground that is Central City and sorting through some things.
But yeah they stick around in Central City. They’re in a weird space as villains who signed up to help the heroes and actually came to care about the mission and their team along the way. They’re not reformed, but like the team thing, and the gimmicks, and this leads to forming the Rogues in a more concrete way, as an actual team with a specific code.
Len wasn’t written off until this most recent season, really? He’s been making cameos for seasons. So I’d have him stay in that role of antagonist who’s kind of an anti-villain for a handful of seasons, with all sorts of adventure and issues and conflicts.
And if I ever had to write him off - send him back to jail to cool off for a while so there’s always the option of bringing him back? Have Amunet and her Rogues rise as rivals and have it backfire on Len after a big mess (which of course Barry and Team Flash are left cleaning up) and give him a line about letting the new kids have this for a while as his send off.
Basically just - give us the Central City Rogues properly instead of a dead Captain Cold, and don’t kill the character, ideally?

Is she like the anti-Amunet?
I mean, she’s getting lightning stabbed today, I think that’s pretty clear, but I’m sad we don’t get to see her and Amunet fight.

4x21: Harry and the Harrisons
I’m gonna start with the completely shallow thing that I enjoyed about this episode: Two shirtless Barry scenes! I’ve been so deprived, and I feel so blessed to see shirtless Barry again.
Iris’s article. Wow. I am so happy she did this, and to see her so passionate about her research (that was really thorough research too I’m impressed!), and to use her skills as a journalist to help take down DeVoe was just really great to see. I loved how Iris and Barry’s story this episode intertwined this episode. They both had opposing viewpoints on whether or not the public should be told about what DeVoe has planned, but they were able to come to an agreement as a couple in a healthy manner. Iris’s reasoning is solid. Why shouldn’t the public be aware of what they’re up against? This is a plan that will affect the entire world and they should be prepared for it. Though I do understand Barry’s apprehension. He’s not sure if the whole city will believe them about DeVoe, and he may still feel a little self conscious seeing as half the city still thinks he’s a murderer. I loved the scene where Barry is like “Well maybe we should wait til you finish the article to show the team.” “Okay, great! I’m gonna hurry up and finish it then!” Iris’s determination and drive is so admirable. I love it. Another line that was great regarding this arc was “Now it’s time for the Flash to put his faith in the people.” That was such a good line, and I hope Iris getting back into journalism to help take down big bads is a recurring thing from now on, in addition to us getting to know the citizens of Central better. We got a pretty big response to her article and a lot of Central willing to help. My one question is (this may just be a plot hole, but I’m willing to think otherwise until proven) is the one response about a guy saying he saw DeVoe somewhere. So do most people believe DeVoe is alive now, and it’s just the government that think it’s a conspiracy? (cause that’s pretty accurate, actually).
Harry’s arc was super touching. I always love seeing the more ridiculous Harrison Wells’s they come up with it, and as usual they did not disappoint. Sonny Wells was great. And HP Wells writes poetry about bread oh my god. And can we address how Cisco called that particular poem saucy? Anyway, moving on. I have to applaud the show for continuing to show therapy as a positive experience that you can grow from, cause that’s essentially what this was. Group therapy with alternate versions of himself. It’s a nice breath of fresh air from the initial therapy episode that was written off as a joke. I think this will be a great development for Harry. Yes, he’s always prided himself in his intelligence, to the point he completely defined himself by it. Him learning like Cecile said, that there are other ways to be intelligent, not just book smarts, and learning emotional intelligence, is gonna be a great way to beat the Thinker. Harry coming to grasps with that allowed him to identify that DeVoe wasn’t currently acting because Marlize left him. I love his and Cisco’s scenes together as usual, and Cisco hoping what Harry learned after talking to the Council of Harrisons would allow him to open up to Cisco more, but things take time so I of course wasn’t surprised that Harry said “oh yeah this is completely about DeVoe.” Keep telling yourself that, Harry. I loved his line after he determined that “That took a lot out of me. I’m gonna go take a nap.” I relate so much? I mean I’m exhausted after some therapy sessions depending on the topic so I totally get that.
Caitlin frustrated me in this episode. I get that she’s not the only one that has hid things from the team, but her reasons were entirely self serving. She wants her powers back for her. Yes, I don’t deny that she does want them back to help the team, but that is secondary. I can’t ignore the obvious parallels they were making between Caitlin and Amunet this episode. Amunet is completely self-serving, only looking out for herself. Caitlin’s actions in this episode really paralleled that, and her defending Amunet after she fucking tried to sell Barry does not sit well in my books. These current decisions and Caitlin potentially losing herself to Killer Frost again makes me think they are heading down a villain/anti-hero arc for her, and I’d definitely be behind that. Ideally, I’d like to see Frost and Caitlin merge into a single personality, which would result in a morally grey Caitlin. Which I would prefer cause then we could get some cohesion between both characters. I do like that she’s getting more scenes with Joe. That’s a teamup that hasn’t been done in the past that much, so seeing them work together again was nice to see. Sidenote: I don’t hate Caitlin, I’m just frustrated with her at the moment.
yeah so I need to talk about the scene with Amunet and Barry when she first came into the cortex. She is eyeing Barry like he’s not human. She is very obviously sizing him up like he’s prized pig she’s gonna buy from the market, and it made me very uncomfortable (which was most definitely the intent). Barry’s restrained anger at being in the same room as her was very well done. He’s probably seething that he can’t save the metas she’s already sold at the moment cause they have to beat DeVoe before they can even begin tackling that problem.
I love that we’re getting to see more of Central as a community as of late. We got the hippie community in the forest in 4x18, and now we get to see more of Central City’s underground in this ep. Is there a meta underground? Cause that’s the impression I got from the first ep CC’s underground showed up, and that concept is fascinating and should be explored more. I have to comment on Norvak and how fucking gross his power is? He reminds me of an X-Men villain because of how weird his power is. He’s really the only meta we’ve seen other than King Shark who has a physical manifestation of his power. I’m really curious about this. How common is that? Is it more common than we think? I think if they delve into the science of the metagene they could help explain that.
I am both excited and scared about next episode. I’m excited cause we’ll get a lot of action and Diggle guest starring, but also DeVoe causing major damage as he starts to act on his plan. Though Iris’s article did make Central aware of the impending danger, I also think it will prompt DeVoe to speed up the timetable of his plan. I am curious to see how ARGUS reacts to a fullscale attack by him. It will be sad, but I think Fallout will end up dying in this ep. I’m excited to see Diggle interact with Barry again, and perhaps he can impart some of that trademark Diggle wisdom? Something that scares me about the ep is the theory (that I’m completely buying into cause it makes so much sense) is the scene of Iris and Barry with Iris saying “What are you willing to do for the world.” is actually DeVoe shapeshifted into Iris. That sounds like something DeVoe would say and that is totally fucked up that DeVoe took the form of his wife to fuck with him, and possibly do something bad to him! As far as the finale goes, I think DeVoe will succeed in turning the machine on, and the team will have to race to turn it off before it effects the entire world. This would in turn affect a significant amount of people though, which is why I think what DeVoe does in the finale will lead to the anti-meta arc, especially considering he’s attacking an ARGUS facility next ep and ARGUS is directly involved with the anti-meta movement.
