actually sooooo tired of people being all anti-blaine or anti-kurt when they’re anti-klaine. ur missing the point!!! they were BOTH bad for each other. blaine cheated, had insecurities and let those control him. kurt had issues seeing blaine as a person with his own wants and desires, and in the later seasons often cares more about aspects their relationship (stressing over the wedding, the idea of having him back) more than their actual relationship. they worked the best in high school when there was pretty much no stakes. it was a messy, toxic, high school relationship just like every other goddamned ship in this show. sure you could argue blaine’s a narcissist or whatever, or you could kurt emotionally abused blaine (both real things i’ve seen) and it’s like. okay well santana manipulated britt’s intelligence to sleep with her while she was dating artie. sam actively pursued mercedes when she told him not to in s3 and went on to cheat on her. jesse and rachel were MADE on toxic. he started dating her bc shelby told him too, he then stole info for vocal adrenaline, cracked an egg on her head, pushed her to have sex, and she did run joey run which i guess he felt like was emotional cheating or something? they act like it’s cheating. idk, my point is, all the endgame ships are toxic and filled with drama. that’s the point of a high school show. but when you take the characters out of high school and give them real adult jobs even though they’re 19, is it makes people think the relationships are more serious and mature when they’re still, stay with me here, NINETEEN. and yes being cheated on sucks at any age but let’s remember that literally everyone in this show cheats at some point. and when it’s with each other for a different relationship, people don’t care. but when they do it outside of the club, it’s somehow way worse and important. just.. i hate that people hold these two specifically to a higher standard of how they have to be. everyone in this show sucks, they all cheat and manipulate and lie, because they are stupid high schoolers. that’s how the show works. stop hating on them so hard before i lose my mind.

can I just start with how funny it is that blaine's personality changed from well blaine to darren? Like at first he's this smooth talker suave handsome guy and then he's just... a dude? I know it's talked about a lot but it is just THAT funny.

Rewatching season 5 rn and honest to god I didn't remember a single plot point from this season. And rightly so it's so chaotic (as is most glee) I know they stopped caring at this point lmao. Like what's up with artie doing 3 girls at once?? And blaine's jealous of kurt cause he's getting muscular?? And RACHEL LEAVES FUNNY GIRL??? Like what is even happening.

Also remembering things i forgot on my rewatch: the twerking episode has a plot. I totally forgot that I always thought of it as just the twerking epsiode and while i was watching it I was like "oh it actually has kinda good plot"

Very true! Especially compared s2!blaine to s4!blaine, it’s like a whole ‘nother level. Even before in s2, there were hints there with his romantic gesture to the gap guy, but later on, he started to get less “classy” to say the least haha.

Season 5 is actually where I stopped. Exactly at the 20th ep. It’s very weird. And the stuff with Blaine, I feel like seeing Kurt in his footing made him insecure (not that he wasn’t already but you get it). While I don’t like how he handled it and the way he acted, I can relate to feeling insecure and being a little jealous of even the closest people around me.

And the Artie plot was so funny to watch. I did really like him with Kitty tho so rip to them.

Rachel leaving Funny Girl especially is ridiculous. Her whole arc was getting into Broadway and being a star. And then fast forward to season 6 and apparently she left for a goddamn tv show and is stuck in Lima like wtf. Anyways, S1 & S4 Rachel was superior all I’ve gotta say.

The twerking one was also so icky. Like no teacher in real life would be condoning this. Not to mention, last I checked, didn’t Schue twerk on those minors??? I can’t believe I’m actually siding with Sue here but…

As for why I ship Quartie, I actually didn’t ship them when I first watched but I loved their dynamic. Seeing @thomas-the-goat-of-satan and other tumblr users talking about them made me love Quartie more.

I just love how happy Quinn was around Artie. Probably the happiest she ever was around a man lmao. And I love how they both bond when Quinn was paralyzed and the way Artie seemed to challenge her.

"Fine, I just want to tell you something because you seem like too nice of a person to be stabbed in the back by someone, especially your boyfriend" He started trying to ease the pain of what he is about to say.

"Get on with Sebastian," Kurt said in a low growl.

"I saw your boyfriend at scandals last night after I slushied him making out with some boy" Sebastian confessed. At this confession, Kurt dropped his coffee cup and began crying.

I don't think there's anything that makes me personally uncomfortable to write. There are things I wouldn't enjoy writing, for sure, but I can't think of something that would make me genuinely uncomfortable.

Oh these types of questions are always so hard. The moment anyone asks me something like this I immediately forget everything that I've ever written LOL

Anyway, I'm going to go with this fight between Kurt and Sebastian in It Was Only A Kiss. I remember being so so so excited for this scene, I had a lot of fun writing it, and when I think of this fic this scene is what first comes to my mind.

"You had no right." "Kurt, what are you talking about? It's truth or dare, the questions are supposed to be hard." "You had no right," Kurt repeats, his tone pitched slightly higher than usual, "to tell them that." A flash of realization crosses Sebastian's face, like he hadn't even known what he'd done until this moment, and that almost makes it worse because how could he not know? Sebastian of all people should know. "Kurt, I didn't mean to... I didn't tell them anything. That won't mean anything to anyone." "Of course it will," Kurt says, practically spits the words at him, "there's only one way to interpret that, Sebastian, what else could it mean?" He's almost yelling, and he doesn't usually get angry like this, but Sebastian just doesn't get it. "Well so what if they know?" Sebastian asks, raising his own voice now. "Maybe they should know. He's an asshole, Kurt, they should know what he's like! Everyone wants you to get back together with Blaine because they think he's so perfect, he doesn't deserve to have everyone think that! They should know who he is!" "It should be my choice!" Kurt is actually screaming now, voice ringing high and loud in the quiet night air. "You don't get to make that decision for me! If I wanted anyone to know I would tell them and I don't want them to know!"

Blaine SHOULD TOTALLY have been bi. Ryan Murphy's biphobia has always infuriated me, but never more than with that storyline.

Genuinely upsets me everytime I get to that storyline because it was barely explored for one episode and was just brushed off and I HATE IT. The biphobia was strong. We deserved more bisexuals on the show to be honest.
