Saphron: Yeah, I thought he had like, Glass Bones Disease, and he couldn't be outside or else He'd shatter.

Anna: We had to- no joke, Saph and I staged an intervention for our parents-

Terra looked a little green about the gills with Jaune inter-spaced with appearances by Annabel, recounted what has been going on. Saphron remained silent through the whole... discussion.

He left no details out, intent on being honest with the woman that made his mother so happy.

"So... these... killings... are because Annabel needs to feed? I don't..."

"I do." Annabel answered. "Because of how Jaune are now merged I feed on that which caused him so much pain and grief."

"Hence the targeting of..."

"Leeches and parasites." Annabel cut of Terra. "Do not try to humanize them... they are a corruption and a disease."

"But..."

"There is no but, sweetie." Saphron injected for the first time in the several hours long discussion. "I... I... was taken aback by what Annabel first suggested... when she revealed herself to me."

Terra noticed how Saphron's face morphed from the worry she was showing her as she was trying to understand what the dynamic was between Jaune and Annabel, to one of cold indifference.

"Those Jaune and Annabel target have no care for the lives they destroy. For the harm they cause. Their monsters, worse than the Grimm..." Saphron leaned forward her elbows on her knees. "My father, Jaune's father was one of those... he didn't care about hurting me. He didn't care about anything but his own sick desires."

"He was killed right? In prison?" Terra asked, remembering during one conversation that Saphron had said that. "Jaune... I mean Annabel did that, didn't she?"

"I did. I slaughtered him like the diseased vermin he was." the glee with which Annabel spoke those words made Terra recoil. "You are troubled by these... admissions."

"I..." Terra looked from Annabel to Saphron. The woman she loved more than anything. "I am. I'm sorry Saph but I am. I mean we're sitting here speaking with..."

"I am a malevolent entity. Call me a demon if you would rather. I will not take that term as an insult."

"A... demon casually speaking about the deaths... no the murders of multiple people! This... this..."

"It's okay." Saphron commented a sad smile on her face. "I love you Terra... I do, but I don't expect you to turn you back on what you believe is right, just for me and..."

"Are you 100% certain your... victims are these parasites?" Terra asked, cutting off Saphron "I need to know. Are you?"

"I can sense and taste their taint. Those who I prey upon are active, and doing harm."

"Are you..."

"I am. Those I take HAVE hurt the innocent to slate sick desires. They are not some idiot who has had a random fantasy. They are not people that look at a child and think that is beautiful." Annabel growled, "They are vermin. They are a disease. They are predators that have hunted prey."

"O...Okay." Terra commented, turning her eyes from Annabel who was changing back into Jaune and focusing on Saphron. "If what she has said is true... I... I may be able to handle this."

If he’s needing to tell someone an unpleasant truth, it’d depend? Normally, yes, he’d prefer being truthful with someone, but sometimes truths are more harmful than small fibs. So he’d need to think about potential outcomes, like is it better or worse in the long run to know the truth?

I have some things about your OC, Anna that I wanna point out. I feel like her personality and how she acts wouldn't realistically fit a special forces soldier. She should be more serious.

Number one: Annabelle's core is that she's comedic relief/rarely takes things seriously to cope. I know a few military guys who can confirm that having someone who can just be silly/funny when shit is going down boosts morale and plus-

What do you think were the biggest missed opportunities when it came to the OC?

Lol my favorite topic (this is not at all exhaustive)

Not letting Marissa verbalize and process her trauma 1000% forever and ever amen. The show learns by the end of s1 that they can keep hurting her without much recompense. Oliver holds a gun to her head and bamboozles grown ass adults yet she shoulders all of the blame in the aftermath. Christ. Her father MOVES AWAY TO BE A BETTER PARENT BC HE CANT STOP SLEEPING WITH HIS EX? Please. How anyone came up with that and thought that was good writing I will never know. Marissa's SA'ed and nearly r**** by her boyfriend's brother and never says the words out loud or processes it because the shooting looms larger. Disgusting. Back in s1 Luke is more apologetic of his affair than Marissa's own mother is and HE'S the one who has to leave town? which leads me to

Getting rid of Luke made no sense. Instead of making Luke/Julie happen they should've had Luke/Marissa 2.0 happen. There was so much there to mine. Sometimes the show acts like they were a nothing relationship and other times like 109 we see they have deep-rooted love/fondness. Rushing RM (though they're my loves) after their 101-108 slow burn shot them in the foot since they were so uncreative later on. But then again TPTB were so reliant on the actors' mirrored personal lives that I'm convinced if they'd put RM off to s2 they would've butchered them thanks to the irl breakup. (This is still so insane)

Getting rid of Anna also made no sense. She was liked by the gen pop, she had good chemistry with everyone! What a damn waste

Seth/Marissa friendship!!!! It is so cute to think Seth is the one boy in Marissa's life that isn't falling all over her. They share the same music tastes, they have the same favorite book, they grew up privileged + depressed, they're neighbors, they're dating each other's besties, their families have a storied closeness, they've dated the same person, etc. It is SO insane how little they actually interact.

Not exploring the Jimmy/Kirsten dynamic more. I rewatched the pilot a few months ago and the hints to their history are so compelling. I remember thinking their tension was good enough to last several seasons. Cutting that out to uphold the sanctity of SK in s1 ended up being for nothing since s2 messed with SK even worse! So why!

Never utilizing Alan Dale well enough. Not only do they kill him for no reason, his death literally does nothing but give us an iconic coda and funeral scene. That's literally it. Having Caleb around while Kirsten goes to rehab is so much more compelling than having her go after he's died. And making us watch Caleb/Lindsay/Ryan for what seems like half a season is so unbelievably boring and ridiculous. Why are we supposed to care. This is taking away from Kirsten/Caleb material! which brings me to

Never giving Kelly Rowan much to do. What a goddamn waste. She absolutely kills her late s2 arc but then she leaves rehab two minutes into 301 and the Charlotte storyline mostly revolves around Julie. Jesus. People talk about the favoritism going on on that set with the younger actors (as they 1000% should and we should do it more), but there was some serious shit going on with elevating Melinda constantly and shafting Tate/Peter/Kelly forever. Especially Kelly. At least she was there and not essentially let go like Tate was (and Tate was a ~big name~ regular from the pilot!). But you can tell Kelly's got some feelings about how the show went for her and her screentime/importance.

Not cutting the Johnny storyline two minutes into filming 304. They had to know Mischa/Ryan D had no chemistry. We're supposed to believe Marissa's having some sort of emotional affair but there is absolutely nothing showing that to us. It's everyone telling Marissa she's got feelings for him, and Mischa doing her job well enough to convince us it's sketchy/complicated, but they have one (1) conversation in 306 that's mostly about Johnny's father or uncle that no one cares about. which brings me to

WE DONT CARE ABOUT GUEST STARS. stop spending so much valuable time on them. we just wanna see our s1 babes being cute and supporting one another that's literally it

🍄 Are there any fandoms you've never written for but want to try?

Well, funny, but for Jane Austen I have (not yet) written only 1 one-shot of 800 words for @firawren´s @janeuary-month event. It´s a short Darcy/Lizzy fic, just out of a spontaneous fun idea. The rections on AO3 and tumblr are stunning (it is a large fandom), and so, I might be tending to take a more serious glimpse into that direction. But tbh, it´s rather Marianne Dashwood/Colonal Brandon from Sense & Sensibility (1995 adaption with Kate Winslet / Alan Rickman) I have been secretly shipping. But as said, this fandom area is kind of new to me!

🫘 Spill the beans. What's a new project you're doing this year?

Oh, the ideas are many, my plot-bunny farm living rent free in my head... lol... but the one greater project I have set my mind and heart (which I have started lat 2024) is the following WIP:

"Love can bear uncertainty" - a frozen canon divergent au, post Frozen 2, pairing: Hans Westergaard / Constanze, baroness of Liebenstein, Bavaria (my OC) - an arranged marriage, redemption arc au.

It´s set in my series "The sight of love" on AO3, and is the 3rd work, following Love can see the good & Love can see beyond (both Kristanna fics). In Love can see beyond, Hans and Constanze are side characters, where the engagement is mentioned but not further explored, except that Anna and Kristoff are confronting Hans in an inquisitive dialogue about his attitude toward his young bride.

When I was writing that fic, I was getting rather fond of the idea to give Hans/Constanze their own story. It´s in the progress, and I have set my mind to make it a real slow-burn (which is new and tricky for me since I am a super fast-burn writer... 🫣). Saying that, I am having a lot of fun, but also nail-biting moments where I think I can´t do it. But I have time, and I don´t want to rush it - but make this a WIP which doesn´t have a necessary deadline, other than to keep loving what I do to and with them... Does that make sense (I am rambling 🫣)?

By the way, @pirate-of-the-southern-isles is a background cheer-reader of my drabbles on discord and has gifted me with this incredible fanart, and I can´t get over it of how lovely that is!!!

the fact my OC Diana in Hans spin-off fanfic was designed to honor underrated Elsa's first concept art (it slayed anyway, kinda bad it was deleted... especially Elsa with redemption arc and evil at first in Anna and the Snow Queen 2012/late 2013 concept), and Elsa is in her current form and outfit in this so.... Hans is torn in a love triangle not only with two Elsas, but also torn between a literal Snow Queen and another Snow Queen, just in the Light and Dark variants (Diana in this fanfic is actually a girl from the small desolated Southern Isles village, so she is just BASED on early Elsa, not actually being her)...

this gives me major Cat Noir from Miraculous vibe lol

Would they consider going onto a game/talent show on TV? If so, which one have they always had in mind?: She isn't the type that would want to go on TV, because she would feel that she would embarrass herself, but if she was forced to do so, she would go on 'The Wheel of Fortune '.

Have they ever done something stupid to try and impress someone?: Kimberley once tried to impress a girl she once had a crush on while she was with some of her friends when they all went down to the local ice cream shop, on their way to a camping trip out of town. She asked for a Banana Split, in which she watched the shop owner carve three jumbo scoops of ice cream out of various tubs and plunking them into a plastic serving boat, before flanking the sundae with two halves of a banana, then topping it with a traffic cone of whipped cream, some nuts, and a cherry. It looked like a mountain range with a warning light on top, as her crush's eyes grew wide with horror. Before Kimberley knew it, she felt a rising tide in her stomach, and got Clementine Charming and Miranda Madrigal to help her through the toilets, as she vomited quite severely.

Something they collect: Kimberley collects anything related to Joan of Arc, which ranges from history books written about her, to historical paintings of her to quirky memorabilia found on Etsy.

Their theme song: Golden by Harry Styles.

If they get sick easily or not: Kimberley secretly smokes cigarettes, and often goes into coughing fits. One time, when Kimberley was ill, her mother, Anna, accidentally found cigarettes in Kimberley's room, but both Kimberley and Anna said that it was a secret that was best kept, because they both knew that Kimberley's father, Kristoff, would be horrified if he found out about his daughter's smoking habits.

Their go-to destination for a day trip: Kimberley's go-to destination would be The Enchanted Forest, located far north of Arendelle to visit her aunt Elsa and her aunt's girlfriend, Honeymaren Nattura.

If they've ever worked a summer job, what was it was: Kimberley hasn't really actually had a summer job, apart from a few babysitting and childminding jobs for various residents in both Auradon City and Arendelle.

Last year's Halloween costume: Last Halloween, Kimberley persuaded Mal to come to the Halloween party, and for them to dress up as the twins from The Shining, although it took quite a bit of convincing from Mal, but they both did it, and they won the "best couple's costume" award.

Their go-to flavor for anything: Chocolate.

Is there one thing they always manage to break no matter what? What is it?: Kimberley gets her clumsiness from her mother, and she has a habit of walking into vases and ornaments, which leads to them breaking. One time she broke a statue ornament of Merlin, and with some (unhelpful) help from Roland Hood, she accidentally glued the statue’s penis on upside-down.

Meets Luna during GOF, after new traumatization during the war

They bond over being crazy and seeing thestrals

Becomes sorta friends with Draco during POA (if he’s getting a redemption arc might as well start early)

Dog person though she’s still fond of Crookshanks

Definitely sees Ronmione before they do

Has a dagger given to her by Luke after an unsavory encounter with a man that’s the same material(s) as Backbiter

Not the Kronos parts or the portal openers though

Gets a lot of letters from her siblings and friends from camp, to the dissatisfaction of her owl

She has respect for the gods, but couldn’t help herself from naming him that

Who am I?

Hello. I am, by internet standards, an old lady (30+ years old), easily annoyed and a redemption arcs addict since I was 5.

What is this blog about?

Mainly for posting stuff about my fanfiction story from the "Frozen" universe and then some for creative process. I will post my fanarts and funny scenes from it.

What is the story about?

Three years before the start Hans had a stroke of good fortune and became a pirate. Now he is a captain, out on the seven seas, looking for a mysterious treasure alongside with his two pirate friends. More or less fortunately, he ran into Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf, whose ship just crashed on their way to Corona. He and his crew have rescued them and now they are kinda stuck with each other.

...why.

Because I am a redemption arc addict, that's why. And I really like pirates.

But why Hans?!

I also have a soft spot for gingers with sad backstories.

But he tried to kill them!

I spent the last eight years of my life fangirling over General Hux. So we have two attempted murders vs blowing up five planets. Trust me, Hans is like a soft bunny for me.

So, are there any ships there?

Oh, a lot of ships, I mean, it is a pirate story!

Oh, come on!

So, no, not really. We have Kristoff and Anna, but that's canon. I don't ship Hans with anyone from Arendelle (if you do, that's fine!), but he and one of my OCs have complicated feelings towards each other (their crews ship them hard, though). Elsa is kinda charmed with the other one of my OCs, but nothing serious is going to happen here. I am more of an adventure writer, I don't really like romance... but if there is a romance, you can be sure it is queer, because I can't, for the love of me, write straight couples.

Your sources?

"A Frozen Heart" by Elizabeth Rudnick, and you will pry it from my cold, dead fingers. But I am reading through the rest of books and comics and I am trying to stick to the worldbuilding. I hate retcons - the last eight years of me being in a Star Wars fandom have taught me to respect the EU and to be really mad when some official creator is changing things that have been established before. I consider it really disrespectul towards those who paid their attention, time and, often, money to additional sources.

Can I read your story?

It will probably be posted on Ao3 but only if I will actually manage to finish it... this time. For now (7.01.2024) it has 279 pages in Word and they only barely completed the first quest. There are four left for them and they are not even the most important parts in this story...
